This is technically a part two to my previous post called Disgust.

They were each other's beginning and end. They vowed to stay til death do them part. And so it did.

She screamed, trying to get to her counterpart. She had loved her, sacrificed everything to be with her and now she was gone. Just like that, with just her screams to accompany her lover into the twisted and thorned vines of death.

Even as she lay on their shared bed, tears streaming down her face, she knows she doesn't regret it. Doesn't regret the revenge she had taken. Doesn't regret ignoring their cries for mercy as she bloodied her hands over, and over, and over again.

"Soon, my love..," She whispers as the aching and agonizing pain of her choices take over, causing her muscles to spasm and jolt, her stomach feeling like it was being torn open as the last of her pills rushed through her system.

"We will reunite soon..," was the last thing the wilted flowers and peeled wallpapers would ever hear from her. The last time the grass, the pine and the cedar would ever see her. The last time the world would hear her aching cries. She was finally at peace. She could finally rest.
