Out of all the scenes (yes even the frog scenes) this is honestly my favourite because of how raw and vulnerable it looks

How they're always visualizing Maomao as Jinshi's source of light to his otherwise bleak life.

Look at this tiny little baby and tell me he doesn't deserve all the good things coming his way.

He YEARNS for her.

That's not the only thing though. Considering how he grew up, there's probably a part of him that's always scared that she's going to somehow be taken away from him

That's probably how jinshi actually feels with Maomao. Comfortable that he's able to show the not so perfect eunuch that everyone knows him as, but a child who's barely grown up and anxious that his favourite is going to be taken away again. So YES THIS SCENE MEANS A LOT TO ME

Who's your comfort character(s)? And why?

I feel like I don't even have to say Sanji. Like it's just very very apparent from my blog and lowkey who I am as a person that it's Sanji. Look at this graph. It's not even up to date

BUT! Other than Sanji. To me what distinguishes a "comfort character" from a regular favourite character is that there isn't a specific reason you like them, they just make you happy, full stop, and when you see them you're just like :)

And for me that's Helmeppo. He's my guy!

i havent seen enough people talk about this yet so im gonna do it myself. Edwin and Niko are literally such perfect friends together, shes the only person Edwin doesnt go into immediate shock after hugging, and is the only person who hugs him before the scene where he comforts Charles. They are so comfortable together it's insane!! Edwin is so pent up, that Niko even mentioning that being gay is a possibility is one of the main reasons that he even considers it! There is so much love in their friendship! I love them!

Edwin screams more when Niko gets shot than when he's put in a torture device potentially for the rest of eternity, because he can't handle the fact that someone so important in his becoming comfortable with his identity, who was there to ease him out of his shell, had died right in front of him. Ofc he would've also screamed if it was anyone else, but it was Niko so shhh.

Niko is so important to me you have no idea they actually can't make such a GOOD character and then make them the other half of another REALLY GOOD character's platonic puzzle this has infected by brain since i first finished the show
