I have mini ideas and plot bunnies of possible 18+ stories I'd like to explore and create visual novels for.

All that said, I'm so immersed in teen media and content and pretty discontent (disgusted) with the crumbs and disrespect that the demographic gets. I'm also over teen and tween girls being villainized for being *checks notes* girls. 😐 (I stand for girlhood and I explicitly mean those tender years of 12 to 20 because I feel it's such a crucial time.)

So if it's between writing another teen story verses finally getting around to an older character's story, I'm probably gonna lean towards the teen 😅 Not at all what you want to hear I know, and I completely understand! When they first met Beau was a lot more extroverted and had no problem approaching strangers and trying to befriend them so he literally just thought Felix seemed cool and looked cute he is a simple man! Also Beau was with his younger brother when they met (it was in an arcade) and thought Felix interacted with his brother nicely/appropriately which is like. number one green flag for him.

Felix on the other hand did have a similar first impression but he was also just So anxious because he literally could not comprehend that some guy just like! wants to hang out with him and is talking with him?!?!? The more they get to know each other the more he realises he does enjoy Beau's company actually but a lot of those first interactions are murky because Felix is just like what the hell do you mean someone wants to be my friend?? Like I'm having normal friend interactions with another person right now??? Overall I don't think there's one that is more affectionate than the other like all the time but Felix's love language would definitely be physical touch so most of the time it's him LOL he's clingy....he wants to hold his hand hold his arm have their knees/thighs pressed together under the table....hugs from behind hugs from the side will move closer to him in his sleep (he is also just a physical affectionate guy overall with anyone he loves not just with romantic partners like he is soooo wanting to rest his head on Dorothy's shoulder most of the time). Not to psychoanalyse but it is like definitely because he did not get physical affection growing up

Omgggg okay in RR despite being so wrapped up in each other they never actually say I love you. Like I think they can't bring themselves to say it even when they want to because they're aware on some level of the fragility of their relationship + their lives around it and as the plot gets more intense which I think is really interesting contrasted with just...how attached they are to each other. There are definitely instances tho where I think they are trying to say it in other words like Felix literally making him a mixtape of what he believes are the most beautiful songs in the world (which btw he made this as an APOLOGY gift....girl!). Like they're trying so hard not to say it!

Which ultimately means the first time they say I love you is going to be in Lover Boy which is like OMGGGGGG who knows what that'll look like! Not me!

check out this sequence at the end of page 3. this is soooo cute! lucy getting so visibly envious of someone else getting attention from mike feels like a rarity...

paulo shows up to boast about his breed too! the more they compare their genetics, the weirder it feels. but in a goofy way, because it’s all obviously so lighthearted! paulo is a somali, and the way his breed looks in real life reminds me of a warrior cats character. he mentions his dad is “kinda lion-ish,” can’t wait to see that guy. i headcanon him as sounding like bob from bob’s burgers.

this is another really cute sequence. i like seeing mike and lucy just be friends. sooo cute... and LOOK AT DAISY!! THE SPELL CANNOT BE BROKEN!! PAULO IS TOO COOL!! i’m huge on paulo x daisy so i’m probably gonna gush like that whenever i see them together, haha

the following panels are also such a fun microcosm of what paulo and lucy are. it’s like, the easiest way to explain their dynamic to someone. so perfect!

anyways, yashy claims to be a golden retriever (obviously unintentional but it reminds me of all those “attack helicopter” jokes from like 2016) and david shows up asking to hook up with the supposed golden retriever, only to see yashy and blanch, somehow avoiding getting called the p-word. i wonder why mike gets singled out so much? poor guy.

in the final panel, we get a really funny david drawing and they toss in sue and amaya’s breeds for us to gobble up like the LEECHES we are. obviously, sue is a european burmese, but she’s missing some of the markings you might expect from a cat like her. amaya is a super obvious tabby though, she’s right.

i figured i wouldn’t have much to say about this chapter, since it’s pretty one-note. i’m fine with putting it all in one big post! NEXT TIME: Gone Fishing!

I got on tumblr and was scrolling down my dash and got jumpscared by this because I didn't check my mentions first ldsfj;

The fight scene over the rooftops with Leo's portals like wow?? WOW? It's so cool! I love how smooth it looks! Leo just getting windmilled off a building but don't worry about it.

Crying over everyone's faces when they see Leo in the alley ;w; and Leo's confusion! The way it synced with the music was soooo good!! Also I tried to catch all the graffiti, I especially appreciated the Phantom Limbs shoutout ^^ Also you even included that Donnie and Mikey's masks were singed from fighting the fire elemental omgggg it's so good!! SO MUCH ATTENTION TO DETAIL!!

Leo curled up in his room alone hurts aaaaaa

DONNIE AND RAPH'S FIGHT I'M CRYING, SOBBING, YOU DID THAT SO WELL, THEY LOOK SO ANGRY AAAAA Leo is panicking. I loooove the way the camera spins before zooming in on Leo in between them just... aaaa so good!

loved seeing the little get well cards Mikey taped up over the bed... oooo... wondering if any of those are left over from his last extended med bay stay...

THE WAY YOU CONVEYED MIKEY GETTING SIGHT BACK... the way Leo flashes in his eyes right on the music beat aaaaa... that's chef's kiss. That's perfect!! I love it so much ;;

following that up with Raph and Donnie... I love both of those moments. Love how it's like a barrier is breaking off of them and now they can hear/touch him ;;

and of course all the moments with his bros afterwards aaaa so soft ;; I think my favorite is Leo and Raph in the rain but also augh you know the hug gets me right in the heart

Leo remembering his family taking care of him and then spinning around to the krang looming over him... AUGH that got me!! It's so good but what a gut punch ;;
