#this is why sometimes I tend to have the urge to speed up the vids im watching

Ngl Im the type of person who prefer reading than watching stuff so I tend to only have one show to watch at a certain time and focus a lot of attention to it but I can finish reading a lot more during that time.

I'm trying right now to challenge myself to watch multiple asian bl shows at once and trying out past BL that I havent managed to watch because there are a lot of them right now, which is a good thing because competition mean producers trying for more quality BL to compete with others. And I'm fighting the urge to play them on at least 1.5x speed to hurry things along and I have a hard time getting attached to all the stories I've tried.

Currently, what the shows I am into are:

"The Director Who Buys me Dinner" because I like supernatural stuff in mundane setting and I like the mystery behind their past life and the nature of the curse. Speculating is fun.

"My School President" because its cute and with such a simple storyline of highschool romance and cliche tropes, they actually manage to make them work with enough nuance and self awareness of their kind of genre. I enjoyed the musical performances each episode. And its like the kind of show where I just can turn my brain off and just enjoy it but its not actually stupid to get me annoyed by it.

I'm still on the fence with Candy Color Paradox tbh because I've read the manga and its the type of story where I prefer the part when they already got together and navigating their relationship than the part of them falling for each other so I'm waiting for the show to actually get to that part if they actually would. And there are certain scenes that makes me question why they choose to do it like that because it has stupid moments. The manga creator behind it is one of the BL manga-ka that I like though so I feel the need to stick with it for now.

And I realized all of them are from diff countries, should I try a Taiwanese BL too? Some of their shows used to be my favorites in the past. But idk if I have enough time and energy to be able to be focus on another show because as I said I now have a hard time getting into another one while trying them.
