Rogue Fencing & the HEMA Alliance Leaders Want to Ban Cops from Clubs and Membership

Over the past few weeks the HEMA Alliance has had major changes. Kat Fanning is no longer president, and several key members of the board have stepped down.

The reason? Because there is an internal civil war taking place between the antifa psychos we have previously covered in this blog, and the members who are sane and just want to do historical fencing and not use HEMA as a vehicle to advance illegal, criminal and frankly evil practices.

As we have previously written about, Rogue Fencing is a club ran by Tanya Smith. Tanya Smith is part of these antifa martial art gyms specifically training people to clash with police and participate in riots that destroy cities.

We have previously mentioned Tanya Smith and Rogue Fencing as being an antifa training center, participating in illegal behavior (inciting others to riot, training people to be a militia to fight police, discrimination, etc) in these articles,

Long time HEMAA board member Aaron Pyneberg finally realized that this kind of thing was happening within HEMAA. He did an investigation and discovered that yes, Rogue Fencing had implemented an anti-cops policy on the front page of their website right below their HEMAA affiliation logo.

To be clear, Tanya updated her website footer to include the discrimination against police but didn’t remove the HEMAA logo. We show that in our article about her club.

Here is the screencap again. Rogue Fencing identifies itself as a HEMAA club on their website and has a discriminatory statement about police. This is the truth; they never “left” HEMAA until Aaron caught wind of it, and it was some kind of psycho excuse to backpedal that failed. Kat knew about this and did nothing, because she supports antifa. Tanya Smith has attempted to claim that she “left the HEMAA” when she updated the footer, but this is a lie. If she had actually left the HEMAA then she would not have the HEMAA club logo on her website and would have removed it. Tanya is lying and trying to use her not having paid her annual dues on time as an excuse to justify her claims of leaving. That doesn’t mean she left, it just means she is an entitled bitch who was enjoying HEMAA membership while not paying dues cuz HEMAA GC were giving special treatment.

After Aaron did an investigation and spoke to HEMAA governing council about her policy, they defended her. Aaron then quit in protest and let others in the HEMA community know why. Now these antifa assholes are slandering him, trying to label him as an over-reaction while actually trying to use the internet groups they control to shift HEMAA member opinion into supporting allowing the group to ban cops from joining and being members.

For some proof that this is what the leaders of HEMAA want to do- ban cops and anyone who opposes their antifa activities -- you simply need to read statements from influential HEMAA members and see who is liking their posts. Namely, Jason Barrons (former HEMAA president who controls HEMA United Facebook group and the r/wma subreddit -- the two largest online communities for HEMA discussion) and Brian Puckett (an antifa supporter who runs Minneapolis Amateur Swordfighting Association ) have made two public posts that we’re resharing here so you can see what they are doing and saying.

Basically they are trying to frame Tanya as being bullied and a victim, when in reality she is the one who is at fault in this scenario -- as is everyone who thinks the HEMAA should be a political vehicle to allow clubs to train people to participate in violent protests and clashes with police.

At the bottom of Jason’s post is a reshare of Tanya Smith’s statement from Rogue Fencing. You can get a real sense of what kind of entitled prick Tanya is by how she tries to make it sound noble to support illegal criminal activity such as rioting and looting, and attacking random strangers while they are having lunch.

Rogue Fencing is kind of like a sister school to Valkyrie. Tells you a lot about them.

Tanya in her public statements tries to make it seem like she is keeping people “safe” by barring police but the actual reason her club isn’t safe if police are there is because the police would arrest them for inciting riots -- which is ILLEGAL in the United States.

These assholes try to say it “isn’t illegal to discriminate against professions” and confuse employment laws with the laws restricting non-profits and private clubs from denying membership.

In reality numerous court cases in the US have proven that discrimination against professions which are likely to be occupied by people of a specific ethnicity IS illegal. In this case, Rogue Fencing is discriminating against WHITE police officers and that is why their ban is a violation of the Civil Rights Act.

Granted, these court cases which have established that occupation discrimination as an attempt to circumvent the wording of the Civil Rights Act involved African Americans being discriminated against but the door swings both ways. Just as some private clubs once tried to ban African Americans from joining by using their jobs and economic status as excuses, so too now are groups like the HEMAA and Rogue Fencing trying to do this to Caucasian male conservatives by “banning police”. They ae STILL violating the law and any lawyer who actually understands these laws and the case law surrounding it can tell you that this is a lawsuit that people like Aaron would easily win.

No jury is going to be swayed by your idiotic claims that you need to ban police from clubs to make people “safe”. That will never hold up in court. The court literally has police in the building to keep everyone safe, and your wacky world explanations will NOT hold up inside a court house and a jury of sane people who are not far left extremists who think antifa is a good thing.

So why do so many HEMAA leaders think they could get away with it? Well, these morons at the HEMAA Alliance are taking advice from idiots like Brian Puckett, who claims to be a “paralegal”. In reality a paralegal is an office assistant at a lawyer’s office.

You do not require any special training to be a fucking secretary and Brian has none. He is not a legal expert and he is in fact an idiot because he does not realize that discrimination against occupations because you want to ban people of a certain gender, ethnicity, religious background and political affiliation (such as police who are predominantly Caucasian males with Christian backgrounds that vote Republican) from joining your club IS a violation of the Civil Rights Act. There are numerous cases where juries have found this to be illegal as the intention of the club was to ban people for their protected status.

Their arguments would NOT hold up under scrutiny in a court of law, because Tanya and others like her are in fact violating the law because their goal is to eliminate people of certain genders, ethnicity and politics from joining their clubs.

Yet, these antifa nutters concoct elaborate schemes and trash talk others for rightfully calling them out on their bullshit. Here is Brian’s idiotic post where he tries to paint Aaron as the bad guy. He has gotten 80 people to “like” this post, and we’re also going to share all of their names here so that the sane people in the HEMA community know who they should blacklist from their own events and clubs, as these are toxic people sabotaging the growth of HEMA to advance political agendas that have nothing to do with swordfighting.

Here is Brian Puckett (who, again I remind you is a secretary AND NOT a lawyer) giving extremely bad advice and manipulating the facts to try to convince HEMAA members that the people that want to ban police are the “good guys” and not the villains.

The only people who don’t like police are the criminals that have something they want to hide and get away with.

Again, Brian tries to stick to the precise wording of the law and doesn’t have enough legal knowledge to know that it is the SPIRIT of the laws that matter the most.

Banning police because what you really want to ban are straight Caucasian males who are Christian and vote Republican (which is predominantly what police are as a demographic) IS STILL A VIOLATION OF THE CIVIL RIGHTS ACT.

We know who this is who they are discriminating against because people like Tanya have made social media posts hating on this group of people. Clara Smith has too, and the entire ‘Fighters against Racism” Facebook group we previously covered has these kinds of hate posts made frequently too.

Also trying to use the ‘Freedom of Study” policy to justify being able to ban police is absurd. That policy was created because the organization most early HEMAA members left -- ARMA -- tried to control members by limiting information from manuscripts that was available and blacklist members for studying alternative interpretations than the official ones. Brian knows this and is intentionally trying to manipulate facts to justify illegal behavior that will subject HEMAA as an organization to a lawsuit while at the same time, advancing outright evil things like antifa which harm society.

Here is a list of all the people who liked Brian’s post. You’ll note many are well known people in the HEMAA.

We suggest at this point that the majority of HEMAA members leave the HEMAA and form a new organization that blacklists these people. That is the only way you’re going to stop the spread of these assholes from continuing to use HEMA as a vehicle to harass and bully people while claiming to be virtuous. They are not the good guys -- these are the bad guys.

There are thousands of people in the USA who study HEMA.

It’s less than 100 in the community who are the problem.

Unfortunately many of them have leader positions in the HEMAA and at clubs in it.

Some of these people don’t even live in the US.

And don’t think that the current Governing Council is going to kick these people out. The current GC and even its board has antifa sympathizers on it.

Jordan Hinckley is just another one of these antifa lunatics. And of course somehow Clara got onto the GC to replace Aaron. The same Clara who posted this to her wall,

They aren’t going away.

If you want to stop the antifa nutters from continuing to bully and harass people, here is what you do.

Step 1. Leave the HEMAA Alliance

Step 2. Get your insurance policy for your club from the same company they use. The price is the same. It’s the same insurance they give to every martial art club in the US.

Step 3. Leave the FB group HEMA United and the r/wma subreddits. These are controlled by Jason Barrons and he uses it to harass and bully people while spreading bad information. It is a recruitment ground for Jason to bring people into his antifa bullshit.

Do not join the /wma group at reddit. You should leave it and form new groups without him and these other people in them.

Step 4. Write blog articles warning people away from the HEMA Alliance and publicly declare you are leaving it. If your club leader is one of the people mentioned on this blog who supports antifa then leave it and form a new club without them.

Step 5: Create a policy where people who advocate for crime and illegal conduct are blacklisted from your groups. That is legal and it will allow you to ban antifa supporters like these idiots.

Leaving these groups and preventing them from gaining power in the new group is the only way that these people can be stopped from continuing to abuse their influence.

They only have power because you give them it by joining their groups. Leave their groups and they lose that power.

PS: Also screenshot every discriminatory statement these people make about “cis white men” and conservatives, against Christians. These screenshots can be used by a competent lawyer to prove their discrimination against jobs like cops is just a front for violating the Civil Rights Act. It doesn’t even matter if the statements are made by people that are Caucasian and male (like Jason and Brian are) -- as we discussed in our first article on this blog, narcissistic psychopaths are not rational people and driven to virtue signal as a way to gain influence and power. They will even make statements that seem to apply to themselves in an effort to make themselves seem like an “ally” to those they are trying to manipulate.

It doesn’t matter what they are - -screenshot all discriminatory statements they make regardless of who makes it. They prove as an organization there is prejudice against “cis white men” who are conservative and that is whom they are trying to bully and harass to promote antifa idealogies.

Note: Fragment from the side story of my wrestling fanfic, very slight hint of fantasy. My OFC is a fucking tough Slav - since we hardly have Slavic character and Slavs are interesting people, so why not :) English is my second language, I apologize for any grammar mistake. This is a work of fan fiction using characters from wrestling, I do not claim any ownership over them.

“You look gorgeous.” Sami was never picky on giving her unfeigned compliment. He loved to show his affection of her wheresoever, including in ring and locker room.

“Thank you.” she stepped back to keep the distance.

Sami grinned, “aren’t you happy to see your soulmate?”

“We are not soulmate, the pain and suffering you left to me had proved themselves.”

Her indifferent denial triggered his anger. He took step forward and griped her wrist, the strength and determination surprised her. He pressed her against wall, gnashed, hot breath licking her skin. “I don’t have patience to wait or intention to restrain the desire. My mind couldn't stop thinking about you. Tell me, what should I do with you?”

“You should let me go. Not every piece from the past is to be preserved.”

“This is not an option.” He stoke her lips hard until they turned to crimson. “I should just take you back.”

“You asked a question with answer already set up, so why bother to ask then? Or you intended to test me?”

“You are too smart sometimes. ”

“Letting me go will be too late to be an option when my family starts to hunt you down.”

“It’ll be the other way around. When the time comes, you are gonna watch them getting hurt. How long can they breathe under attack from oVe? I don’t mind to bleed for the fight.”

“I’ll cut your face off if you dare...” she snapped, struggling to get rid of him.

“You think the Death Machine will stop ’til he gets what he wants? I'm gonna take down your brothers and sister, break every piece of fucking bone of them...”

A smack right on face cut off his threat. The Death Machine was held in trance for a moment but soon turned to something furious and dreadful. The enormous fierceness radiated from him was like thousands of invisible claws, grabbed her, suffocated her, and tore apart. She felt dizzy and nauseous, his dominant aura hunted her in the most desperate way. But she would rather die than surrender.

Sami grabbed her waist before she fell on knees, husky voice whispered to her, “You are stubborn, Birdie. I could have physically hurt you.”

Of course he could have. Jowita wouldn’t doubt it. He never learned how to control his fierceness, she had been hurt plenty of times in the pre-existence, now one more was added. She couldn’t help wondering how many more wounds and scars he would give her.

“I’m sorry.” he murmured, “Seems that I hurt you a lot.”

“Love shouldn’t take the form to hurt.”

“You are my soulmate.” Sami insisted. “You think I will just give up?”

“No, you will not. Obstinacy roots deep down in you.” she tried to escape from his excessively intimate embrace but failed. If someone else was in the locker room, he might not be so aggressive. But once again, he was the Callihan Death Machine, opinions from others meant nothing to him.

“So why don’t you just stop avoiding me and let’s have a talk.”

Rolled her eyes, she responded in sarcastic tone, “Of course I cannot wait to sit down and talk with someone who brought me so much pain. How about some tea? London fog?”

The Death Machine hissed at her words, impatiently pressed her against wall. They were so close to each, he could even see his own reflection in her gray eyes. She smelled nice as always - berries, orchid and rain - the fragrance usually could calm him down, but not now. He growled, “Don’t ever try to push the limit, lil’ bird, or I will break your wings again like what I did in the past.”

“Now you know why I avoid you.” she sighed, tone softened, one hand was on his cheek. The texture enthralled him. He leaned over, the tip of his nose touched hers, hands around her waist. Her acquiescence pleased him.

“Sometimes I wonder if I should accept what fate gifted us. To fight against what instinct drives me to is difficult.”

“You should. Even though you don’t, I will take you back.” His hot breathe licked her lips, the desire surrounded her like veil.

Sami was confident that he’s gonna have her back. But he was wrong.

A kick right between his leg almost brought him down on knees, followed by cross-buttock throw.

“Years of practising HEMA finally fruits.” she said in calmness, “I never said I’m going to accept the fate, Koteczek.”

“Damn woman... How dare you...” he was almost in tears from the sharp pain. For years, Sami had considered himself as the toughest badass among indie wrestlers. Paper cut? Nah not big deal. To step on Lego block? Piece of cake. But got kicked by soulmate right on testicles? This was too much.

None of his female friends or ex-girlfriends dared to be such merciless without blinking and yet still acted like nothing happened, neither in rings nor in reality. She was different. Call it “Slavic way” or not, she was brutally straightforward.

“I already did, so what?” she shrugged.

“You’re gonna pay for this...” Sami gasped heavily.

“No problem, just send me the medical bill of fixing your testicles. Email works too.” She waved at him, walking out of locker room, “See you.”

Autumnal Asks - Nasir

I saw at least three people reblog this post on my dash, and since I'm feeling all festive I decided to join in on the holiday cheer with my fave sim, Nasir ibn Hema! <3

lantern - how did you meet your best friend? What were your first impressions of each other?

Nasir, Pietros, and Naevia were all classmates in med school. They got paired up together for a lab project, and immediately hit it off. Naevia’s like a big sister, as she’s so sweet and nurturing to the boys who never had a strong female presence in their lives. Pietros and Nasir like playing harmless pranks and being naughty, urging prep-schoolgirl Naevia to loosen up a bit. The three of them feel like long lost siblings, and they love each other dearly.

crow - which school subject do you wish you had an aptitude for? / cobweb - (if you’ve graduated) do you miss high school?

Nasir was actually a brilliant student -- when he wasn’t cutting class to smoke weed on the rooftop. His entire family pushed him from an early age to go into medicine, since that was where the money and prestige was. But Nasir’s always loved arts & crafts; creating things with his hands and expressing himself artistically.

maple - is there a hobby/skill you’ve always wanted to try but never did?

Nasir’s pretty much a Hot Topic reject, tbh. He likes the grunge/punk styles, and dresses like a little thuglet. Growing up on the streets, he needed a way to look tougher and more intimidating, when people would underestimate him because of his height and his cute face.

cocoa - if you could have any type of hair, what colour/cut would you have?

If he wasn’t so vain about his hair (and if Agron hadn’t threatened jokingly of course to dump him if he ever cut it), Nasir would totally rock a buzzcut!

cranberry - what’s one physical feature that you get complimented on?

Nasir’s been growing his hair out since childhood, as Nazeem once told him that his hair was very soft and pretty. By growing it, he feels closer to his brother. (Plus it doesn’t hurt that he looks so darn good with it!)

fog - how well do you think you’d do in a zombie apocalypse scenario?

Oh god. >_> Well, for any of you who remember that In the Flesh inspired Zombie Apocalypse AU I never finished, it left off with Nasir meeting the mysterious Agent Laeta, who had information on his MIA military brother, Nazeem. She took him to her HQ in Twinbrook/Nightmare Valley (one of the quarantined areas where The Risings first devastated the area), but Nasir was perfectly safe with the military escort she had.

Nasir thinks the government should totally legalize weed! He’s tired of stealing from Gannicus’ stash.

Western food. Growing up in a traditional Al Simharan family, Nasir had never had things like pizza and cheeseburgers. It was only after Nazeem moved them to Starlit Shores that Nasir was introduced to the world of fast food. Mmmm...diabetus. :P

Modern!Nasir’s been living in a gorgeous apartment Nazeem picked out for them. (I first show it off in this post. It was made by @pralinesims, and I just added a few changes here and there.) GoatFarm!AU Nasir has been living in the Rhineland with Agron and his family at the Zeigenfarm Homestead.

Nasir is a wee bit of a neat freak. He likes pretty things, and always keep his stuff kept nice and smelling good.

cinnamon - if you had to live in a time period different than the present, which would you choose and where?

Nazeem used to tuck Nasir in with stories from 1001 Nights. Nasir loved the tales of adventure and magic, and his favorite cartoon was Disney’s Aladdin. He’d love to go back in time and see what Al Simhara was like thousands of years ago.

pumpkin - do you think that humans are inherently good or bad?

Nasir grew used to expecting the absolute least from others, especially when it came to him. He was exposed to real scum growing up. It was only after gaining the friendship of Pietros and Naevia, and then finding love with Agron, and being welcomed/adopted by all of their friends and family, that Nasir started believing in the goodness of mankind.

Nasir never really dated before Agron, just mostly had hook ups. But his earliest dates with Agron were...complicated, to say the least. (Scroll down to “Who remembers things / anniversaries.”)

Nasir was scouted by so many gay porn agents in Starlit Shores. He’s got that dirty twink charm about him, that certainly helped during his brief and lurid career as a gogo dancer before getting into med school.

Nasir barely remembers his parents enough to deeply miss them. It’s his big brother Nazeem that Nasir really longs for. Mostly Nasir wishes he could apologize, for giving his brother such a hard time when he was busy being young and dumb, while Nazeem was just struggling to do the best he could to take care of them. One of Nasir’s favorite songs is P!nk’s Conversations With My 13 Year Old Self. That’s pretty much exactly what he would say. Nasir had a very hard childhood, as he and his older brother Nazeem were orphaned during the political turmoil in Al Simhara. The barely 18 Nazeem tried raising little Nasir on his own, but Nasir was left alone a lot and hung with the wrong crowds; getting into trouble. Angry and rebellious, Nasir could have done well with an uplifting song like P!nk’s while growing up.

The cult of Valkyrie has its talons across the HEMA community. It is not unusual for narcissistic people to often find allies for their abuse in other narcissistic individuals who are willing to lie and abuse their power to assist the goals of the group.

It is our belief that there is a wider faction within the online HEMA community which is centered around and heavily influenced by the Valkyrie cult, and which Valkyrie has weaponized its influence on in order to gain support for their harassment against Duello. When Kaja makes her posts demanding that Duello be shunned by the rest of the community, it is this faction of the HEMA community she is speaking to.

We have decided to expose several of the most influential members who are assisting Valkyrie in their defamation of Duello as the narcissistic abusers they truly are who are ruining HEMA by promoting and encouraging bully, harassment and shunning of others to serve the agenda of their faction of fellow narcissists. By exposing them we hope to reduce their ability to continue to influence and mislead others in the HEMA community, who follow their word as law and believe them to be people of great integrity when they actually are not.

While we can only focus on the public postings these individuals have made in order to expose them (any information which is viewable by the public is not considered to be a violation of personal privacy laws) this should not mislead into believing this is all of the information that could be shown about them. There is more behind closed doors that goes on, and this is just what they are bold enough to say in the public view online.

First let’s start with Jason Barrons, former President of the HEMA Alliance and who is still a member of its board. The HEMAA is the largest HEMA federation in the United States and which many clubs are members of. The HEMA Alliance wields enormous influence in the US community because many clubs depend on them for cheap insurance for club operations as well as for events. Going against this group requires forming your own business and getting your own insurance policy, which is generally more expensive than the group policy used by the HEMA Alliance.

Jason is also the founder and head instructor of the Denver Historical Fencing Academy.

Jason has often mis-used his influence over the years in a variety of ways but for purposes of this article let’s focus on how he has assisted Valkyrie in their harassment of Duello.

Jason is a huge virtue signaler within the HEMA community and here is an example of some of the ridiculous ways that he decides to do so.

Here is Jason using a female child as a prop for his own virtue signaling, acting like it was some monumental event for a girl to decide to try out a free fencing class at a martial art studio; something that happens all the time

More importantly Jason makes her deciding to try out a martial art class all about himself and he acts like he is some super important moral crusader because he put on a free trial class event for women at his martial art studio. Again this is something that is a common marketing tactic. But Jason re-frames it as if he is doing God’s work.

There is A LOT of this stuff we could show about Jason that exposes him for a deeply narcissistic and rather emotionally disturbed person but chances are all we’re going to need to do is show you the following information about the situation with Valkyrie’s accusations against Duello and how he in his best wisdom decided to virtue signal about it while also spreading the false accusations across the American HEMA community. Looking at this objectively there is no way that he can be deemed but a manipulative liar, as he does not truly believe what he virtue signals about.

The reason we say Jason is a liar and does not truly believe any of this is because he dated one of his own students for several years, Heather Barker, and whom he is only recently married to.

Although this is common knowledge, for those outside of the HEMA community here is the evidence.

Heather Barker is listed as a member of the Denver Historical Fencing Academy. on HEMA Ratings, which tracks tournament results for the HEMA community.

Jason has been romantically involved with her since at least October 2018 and he started the Denver Historical Fencing Academy in 2017.

She is not an instructor at the Denver club.....

...so she is consequently a student at the club.

It should be obvious to anyone looking at this that Kaja doesn’t actually give two shits about whether people date their students. She only cares when it suits her desire to sabotage someone’s career for her and the cult of Valkyrie’s financial gain. She does this behavior herself, she condones it in others and she is only accusing Duello of being morally wrong for having students at the club involved with one another romantically because it suits her desire to destroy Duello.

But apparently in Kaja and Jason’s mind it is totally okay because his relationship with his student resulted in marriage, so now he gets to wave his finger at everybody else in order to promote Valkyrie’s accusations and efforts to destroy Duello.

But that isn’t how it really works. Jason is just an abusive narcissist and he has married another narcissist who can feed and encourage his worst qualities while he encourages her worst qualities.

This is pretty much everything you need to know about Jason and Heather’s relationship,

You can summarize their entire relationship dynamic from these two screenshots.

First screenshot, Jason belittles himself to act like he was a lost puppy until Heather found him, which feeds into Heather’s narcissism of “saving” someone.

Second screenshot, likewise Heather (while pulling her ‘victim card’ to dismiss someone else’s opinion who also is pulling a victim card to justify their opinions) talks about how Jason is a wonderful “care-taker” of her “needs” even though Jason is not a therapist, and this feeds into Jason’s need to feel self-important and gain virtue by “saving” people, too.

In reality both Jason and Heather are very toxic narcissistic people who play into each other’s narcissism, and manipulate each other equally as part of the dynamics of their relationship. Just as they manipulate others in the HEMA community.

By the way, if you’ve ever applied to the HEMA Alliance you should be aware that Jason will cyber-stalk you for any wrongthink. If he finds anything he doesn’t like he will reject your application for membership in order to use you as a prop for him to virtue signal and earn more applause from the masses.

Jason will also contact your employer and try to get you fired for it, too. And what he describes doing to this person in using their private correspondence to his nonprofit to then harass him we are pretty sure is a violation of the law, actually and can subject the HEMA Alliance to a lawsuit. Just throwing that out there.

He also committed a violation of the HEMA Alliance bylaws, too.

Let this be a lesson in why it is a bad idea to allow toxic narcissistic people to obtain positions of power over all the HEMA focused discussion forums and membership groups, which allows them to control the narratives when they push certain agendas and try to ruin people’s lives for their own self-interests.

Jason is a member of several different Facebook groups that he participates in alongside other narcissistic people in the community, but the one we’re going to focus on right now is his participation in the Fighters Against Racism Forum on Facebook which is moderated by David Rawlings, owner of the London Longsword Academy.

The Fighters Against Racism group purports to be against racism. In actuality it is an extremely radical political activist group intended to utilize the HEMA community as a recruitment grounds for the “Antifa” movement.

The group frequently has members advocating for others to engage in highly illegal behavior and immoral conduct, such as vandalism and violence against others and this is all allowed by David Rawlings and encouraged by others in the cabal he is part of. Because they are all extremely narcissistic individuals they feel morally entitled to their advocacy for violence and destruction to serve their own virtue signaling needs and are rewarded by the group for this behavior by gaining greater influence within it.

And if you think David just isn’t paying much attention to the postings and moderating things, guess again. He is moderating with an iron fist against anything he doesn’t personally agree with.

So we can very confident that David approves of all of what is posted and commented on in this forum, especially since these posts and comments have been sitting here for weeks and months. All of the screenshots we’ve taken here, are brand new ones to stress this point home for people.

David Rawling approves of everything we are showing from this group. And it is likely the case so does everyone else who is liking and sharing the stuff as members of the group.

Now we recognize all of these people believe the violence is okay because they are morally opposed against ‘racists’, ‘Nazis’ and other types of people. However it is morally wrong to wish for or inflict violence upon someone just for having different ideas than you, even if those ideas are evil. The only responsible and legal way to inflict violence on others is in self-defense, not just because you hate them. And it is disingenuous to claim that you are against violence and abuse of others (as all of these people claim) but then turn around and wish and encourage violence against others.

There should not be any HEMA groups advocating for violence against anybody. It should not be a vehicle for promoting political ideologies and recruiting people to extremist groups, and that is what is happening here with the group Jason Barrons and many others in the HEMA community are members and participants of.

We can prove this group advocates violence and other illegal behavior by showcasing just a few of the posts made by some of their more prominent members.

Brennan Faucher, the founder of the Niagara School of Arms in Saint Catharines, Ontario, advocates for shooting KKK members.

We assume he said the word ‘clap’ because he has previously had comments of his deleted by Facebook when he is less subtle about his violent statements. Clap is a common term used to shoot someone.

So here we have a founder of a HEMA school advocates for murdering people.

Yes, the KKK is a white supremacy group and nobody should tolerate racists in their communities. But that does not justify encouraging violence and death upon them, that is incredibly illegal because (you would not want to live in a society where people can murder you just for having a different opinion), and that kind of violence is not something a martial art instructor should be advocating for and encouraging people to do!

Here is a post where Aleksandar Ristic advocates for violence to cause social change and he makes several additional comments explaining why he believes violence is necessary to cause change in democratic countries.

His comments should leave no room for doubt that he is advocating for violence and intimidation against others in order to cause social change. This is ironic because those are the tactics of a fascist trying to overthrow a democratic country, which is what he is advocating for here.
