#thankfully my mom heard me on the phone and realized i was talking to my dad#so she executed the 'shout for you to come assist me to give you an excuse to hang up' gambit#this guy she/her'd me within the first 5 seconds of the conversation like he was going for the misgendering speedrun world record#honestly impressive really#you'd think i hadn't told him my pronouns multiple times#im convinced that the only reason he gets my name right is bc he changed it in his phone contacts in front of me as a show of support#i almost wish he didn't pretend to support me on a surface level
