"I can't believe CDPR made one of the romance options a COP" River is a cop for literally two thirds of a mission that is dedicated to uncovering the depths of police corruption in Night City, gets immediately booted from the force BECAUSE he tried to stand up to said police corruption, spends the rest of the game pursuing detective work outside the law, and in the base game mentions he's going to start work as a private eye so he doesn't have to return to the force in order to keep protecting people.

The only instance where the "River is a Cop" joke is funny is using it in the context of Johnny being pissy about it, which should probably tell you how low hanging that particular fruit probably is.

I don’t know if maybe it’s just me, but is anyone else seeing a rise of people claiming that they could do a better rewrite of Voltron and then immediately say they’d make K/L cannon or Adash/ canon?

I don’t know about anyone else but I genuinely don’t think making ships canon would make the show better.

In fact I think It’d make it worse.

And considering shiro isn’t even mentioned in these and if he is it’s just to be Keith dad…. Is telling.

I'm gonna be in this fandom until the day Hobie dies and even then I will be politely ignoring that and reviving his dead corpse in a fanfic.

People come and go from fandoms all the time. I just saw someone finally get a chance to watch the movie like last week. And in all honesty there is still so much being posted in the ATSV tag everyday.

Maybe it's time to go through that atsv and find more people to follow.

Or maybe your favorite artist will remember Miles after seeing a sunflower or something and come back. Who can say?

Fandom adapts. That's how it's always been that's how it'll always be.

We're not going anywhere anytime soon so calm down.

Do not leave comments that bash on the actual show whilst ‘complimenting’ my fanworks. It does not make me happy at all IN FACT I really HATE it when people do that. 

I create stuff for this fandom because I adore the show with all its flaws and everything. I grew up with the show and I adore the characters so much. So when I receive comments or tags saying stuff like “Ugh if only the writers knew how to write like that” or “You should be in charge of canon cos canon is shit lol”, it just fucks up my mood and it makes me feel grossed out. 

There are millions of things out there to write or say to other people about their work without having to bring down canon and what the actual professionals have worked on.

Keep your gripes about the show off my work.

whenever I think about asriel deltarune there's always this fear in the back of my mind that when we actually meet him he's gonna turn out to be too much asriel and no flowey. or that toby will make a separate flowey character and make asriel just asriel. i know that's probably not going to happen because of how stellar flowey's writing is in undertale but it makes me so scared still

I hate so much how it seems like people get that it’s bad to call canonly bi and pan characters straight, but then will turn around and say it’s ok to “headcanon” canonly bi and pan characters as gay men or lesbians. The problem of calling mspec characters straight isn’t just erasing queerness, it’s the erasure of multi gender attraction. Saying a gay or lesbian character should have been bi or pan is bad, and the reverse is also true bcs either way, it’s serving as the erasure of a specific form of queer identity

HE SURE IS i will be honest i almost like him a Little Too Much because i Also live in my fantasy world of make believe where camp lazlo is a little more than a 6.4/10 show (I STILL LOVE YOU SWEETHEART!) and instead also includes all my insane 20k spiels of backstory stringing and talks about character writing but

(also. i do think it's funny how popular slinkman is in comparison, i love him just as much, but i actually see people mention really liking slinkman pretty frequently if someone happens to posts about camp lazlo which is GOOD because he DESERVES IT MAJORLY but the lumpus bug has Also caught me something awful even though i hate him and he sucks so i'm alone adrift in the world out here...)
