Star Crossed| Armando Aretas
“But Dad, why?” she huffed, throwing her arms in the air in frustration.
“Because i said no.”
“But thats not a good enough answer.”
“Y/n, seriously, leave it alone.” he responded, shooting her a glance.
“But I have been training my whole life for this! How am i supposed to take over one day if you can’t trust me to do this?!” she was seething with rage, her nails digging into her palms. She had been told she could ‘go out in the field’ once she had completed her training and was now being denied that right. To say it pissed her off was a serious understatement.
“Mom would want me to do this!”
“Your mother is dead! She cannot want anything! You’re not going and that is final!”
She took a step back, tears welling in her eyes. Ever since her mother had died on a mission, her father had become cold and distant. It was almost as if he never cared for her.
“Thats not fair , and you know it,” she spoke through gritted teeth, her hands balled up in fists at her sides. “If you really don’t want me there despite me being your best agent, fine. But when it all goes to shit, don’t ask me to help.”
She left her fathers office, the thud of her boots following her. Her father sighed, holding his face in his hands. Y/n was just like her mother, dedicated, hardworking, and undeniably stubborn. She couldn’t understand why her father wouldn’t allow her to assist the team on this mission. She thought he was coddling her, holding her back from her full potential. But in reality, he was protecting her.
She stomped all the way to her room, throwing herself on the plush mattress. Her bedroom door clicked open, the sound of kitten heels on the hardwood floors piquing her attention.
“Little one, what did i tell you about shoes on the bed?” the sweet and comforting voice of her childhood nanny, Rosetta, made her huff out a breath she didn’t know she had been holding. “Sorry Miss Rosetta.” she apologised, unlacing her boots and placing them by her bed. “Good, now what’s with that face? Pretty girls like you shouldn’t frown like that.” Rosetta smiled softly, sitting next to her. Her hair was bouncy and smelled like shea butter and coconut oil. Her makeup was light and refreshing, making her look younger than she really was, though Y/n would never point that out because she knew how sensitive Rosetta was about her looks. she dressed unlike the house staff you would expect to find in a home like Y/n’s, more like a rich aunt rather than a nanny.
“Dad is being difficult again.” Y/n grumbled, crossing her arms, her lip slightly jutted out. Rosetta smiled softly at her, the wrinkles by her eyes becoming more prominent. “Now Miss Y/n, you know he is just looking out for you. He doesn’t want you to get hurt, or worse.” she reasoned, petting y/n’s hair. Rosetta was painfully aware of what had happened to Y/n’s mother, and knew it was a sensitive subject, so she made sure to tread lightly.
Y/n stood from her place on the bed, pacing around her lavish room. “But i am not a baby anymore and he knows that! I am one of the most skilled people on the team but he still treats me like a child. It’s not fair!” she argued, her frustration becoming more and more apparent in the way she spoke.
Rosetta smiled, “Well i can’t blame him when you act like this. If i didn’t know any better, i’d say you were having a temper tantrum,” she joked, her tone light, a gentle grin on her face. Y/n rolled her eyes in response, walking back to her bed. Rosetta held her arms open for her, as she used to when Y/n was younger. She laid her head in Rosetta’s lap, allowing the older woman to rake her fingers through her hair, the tension melting from her body.
“Look, Munchkin, your Baba cares about you. He wants you to be safe, and so do i. He has already lost so much, he cannot lose you too.”, Rosetta affirmed, looking down at the sweet girl in her lap. She looked almost the same as she did when she was a child, still soft and precious, but fiercer and somehow more headstrong.
Y/n often despised the way that no matter what Rosetta said, she made sense, she always made sense. “Now dinner will be ready soon, will you be coming down?” She asked, looking down at the girl curled up in her lap.
“I will, but i’m not talking to him.”
The dinner was quiet as ever, just Y/n and her father sat at the table on opposite ends, the same way it had been since her mother died. Rosetta stood off to the side, refilling their glasses whenever they emptied.
“Silent treatment? Real mature Y/n, real mature.” he father stated, taking a sip from the glass of water Rosetta had poured for him. Y/n stood her ground. She wasn’t trying to be childish or petty, she was trying not to to say something she would regret later on, for she did not have a good grasp on the sharp tongue she inherited from her father. Though, it did make arguments with him all the more interesting. “The target is called Benit-”
“Im not going remember? why would you tell me?” she interrupted harshly, her jaw clenched and eyes glaring daggers at her father. “You exhaust me, daughter, you really do.” Her dad sighed, taking a forkful of food and putting it into his mouth. “I’m just trying to fill the silence that you insist upon, because you are too spoiled to take no for an answer, but i guess that is not good enough for you, because nothing ever is.” he grumbled, knowing perfectly well that she would hear every word.
“I insist on the silence, because at least when it’s silent my very existence isn’t being insulted.” she quipped back, cutting up her food and shoving some in her mouth in a hurried attempt to shut herself up. Her father may be head of one of the most powerful mafia families in the world, but that didn’t mean he wasn’t her dad.
“Well maybe if you just did as you were told for once, without questioning my every decision i wouldn’t have to call you out on your petulance!”
“Oh I’m petulant? Says the man who won’t let anyone do anything because he’s too afraid!”
“You are just like your mother, always flying off the handle, not thinking before acting!”
“Mom never listened to your stupid demands and orders!”
“Look where that got her!, the silence was so deafening you could hear a pin drop. “Honey I-”
“How could you say something like that? She did nothing but love you and this is how you talk about her? You berate her for the only mistake she ever made, which was protecting me! She was perfect, never cursed, was polite and knew how to handle herself without getting herself into trouble. You tell me i am just like her?! Well i wish i was like her, maybe then you wouldn’t view me so negatively . Or maybe you would, because that’s exactly how you view her.” Her fists slammed against the table as she rose from her chair.
“Miss Y/n-”
“Miraculously my appetite has gone, thank you for the food though Rosetta.” and with that, she left to her room.
“I dont even want to hear it, Rose” her father huffed, his brows furrowed and his hands clenched together.
“You are both in the wrong. That’s all.” She smiled, placing her hand on Claude’s shoulder, her thumb grazing the fabric of his well tailored suit.
“I know.”
“Hey Boss?” a tall man, of a muscular build walked up to the table, papers in hand. “Yes Lorenzo?” Claude responded, rubbing his temple with his fingers. “I got everything i could on our target from our guy inside, but his tracker just went dead.” Lorenzo admitted, his head low, making sure not to make eye contact with his boss.
“What do you mean his tracker went dead?” Claude breathed, his fist slamming on the table top, causing Rosetta to jump while she cleaned up. “I mean his tracker was on and then it wasn’t.” Lorenzo asserted, huffing out a breath.
“You think this is funny, Enzo?” Claude stood up, grabbing the collar of Lorenzo’s shirt in his fist and and pulling his face closer toward his own.
“No boss.” Claude stared right into Lorenzo’s eyes, his teeth clenched in fury.
“Fix it.”
“Well, we think he may have been discovered, and you know, blown his cover.” Enzo responded calmly, knowing if he reacted the way he wanted to he’d be out of a job, and possibly a life. “Damn you Aretas.” he sighed, his knees suddenly becoming weak.
“Boss!”
“Claude!”, Rosetta ran to his side, holding him up as Lorenzo helped her situate him in the chair. “Kill him, i dont care what you have to do to make it happen. i want him dead.”
“Miguel. Ven aqí (come here)” a gruff voice demanded silence from a small group of men playing a round of Cheat, at a table in the middle of a worn down garage.
“Yeah Jay?” Miguel answered, a sweet smile gracing his lips, his two gold canines on full display.
“Did you do what i asked you to?” he was strangely calm, his left eyebrow slightly raised in mock amusement.
“Yeah of course i did.” Miguel answered, his hands moving straight to his pockets. He was lying.
“What did i ask you to do, hmm?” Jay’s hand made its way to Miguels face, squishing the skin in his hand, as the panic started and sweat began to settle on his forehead. ‘oh shit, what did he ask me to do,’ he thought, trying hard to remember the simple task he was asked to complete.
“I asked you to count the money.”
“Oh yeaaah count the money,” his response was delayed and drawn out, a clear indication that he had not in fact counted the money like Jay had asked him to.
“You see, Compa (friend), i asked you to do one thing, huh? Una cosa (one thing) , and you couldn’t even do that,” Miguel looked his ‘friend’ up and down, he was clearly upset, he fucked up.. bad.
before he could utter an apology for his incompetence he felt the cool end of a gun against his temple. “One thing buddy, thats all i asked. Look man, I knew you were stupid, but i didn’t know all that food you ate inhibited your brain functions!” Jay’s words were like venom. He was never nice to anyone but this was too far, even for him.
“Look man, i got distracted, I’m sorry, i’ll count the racks up before Boss gets back, i swear just don’t shoot.” he begged, tears beginning to well in his eyes.
“I should shoot ya’ in ya’ head, maybe it’ll rearrange your brain, make you useful, hmm?” he spat, digging the barrel of the gun further into his skull. “Or maybe i should shoot ya’ dick off, maybe then you’ll spend less time thinking about las putas (the whores) we see on the street and more time thinking about the simple fucking things i ask your dumbass to do!”
“Please man, you know i have a wife and kids, man. I am begging you.”
“Damn, i forgot about that pretty little thing you call your wife. fuck, you think if if i shoot you i could play step daddy for you, hmm? Keep your side of the bed warm. Snuggle up with ya’ Mrs, give her some good- ”
*Bang*
The sound of a gunshot resounded through the garage. Miguel checked himself over for bullet holes as Jay’s body hit the ground with a heavy thud, his gun falling from his grasp.
“Louis.” Armando said, watching the blood pour from Jay’s lifeless body and pool around him. “Yeah boss?,” a young boy, no older than 19 stood abruptly from his seat at the card table, almost knocking his chair over.
“Clean that up will you? I hate rats.”
“Yes boss.”
“And Miguel? Go count the money before i bury you with him.”
“Yes, boss.”

My Spn Finale Thoughts:
As the ending of a show: 7/10
As the ending of Supernatural : 2/10
Let's start with the super obvious: things that Dont Make Sense.
Dean didn't know vampires were real until some way into s1 (ep16?) and yet knew John's journal almost off by heart, but never saw the clown mime vampires written into the journal? Hm.
At the start of the episode, we have Dean saying something like "to honour their legacies all we have to do is keep living" then literally dies 20 minutes later, completely dishonouring Cas' sacrifice
Where the Hell did Miracle go???
Who was Sam's blurry wife? Why wasn't she in any of the photos on the mantelpiece? Speaking of, where were all of Sam's friends, like Charlie, Kevin maybe, Ellen and Jo etc? Jody and Donna??
Why would Bobby say Cas helped when we don't even get to see him (i will come back to this thought later on)??
Stuff I liked/tolerated:
The CONCEPT of the emotional Sam and Dean talk
OG number plate on Baby
Ellen's Roadhouse
Sam getting to have a family
Stuff I didn't like:
How the emotional talk was done. 1st off, why is the camera focusing on their hands so much, why did they touch foreheads ew? Also Sam's "you can go now" was completely uncalled for like, did he want Dean to die???
Obviously how Dean died. He could have been sent into outer space with the Mark of Cain, he could have been locked at the bottom of the ocean in a Mal'Ak box, he could have stayed in Hell forever, but no. A rusty nail on a hunt he probably didn't even want to do,, he was applying for a JOB.
Jack didn't get to have a childhood and grow up. It would have been so much better for emotional connection to have Jack de-aged to grow up as a normal kid instead of Dean Jr whom we had NO emotional connection to, and only existed to say the same line to Sam that Sam said to Dean.
No representation for the girls or any of the side characters in general.
No resolving Dean and Cas. At this point I wouldn't care what they talked about but they should NOT have only briefly mentioned him just so he wouldn't have to show up.
DEAN DIDNT GET TO LIVE A LIFE. Thats all hes ever wanted. At some points even more than Sam. He had a job application and could have made himself a life but no it was his destiny to die like that or something (more on this later too). Tbf id rather him live his life alone than with a random person we've never seen before (that or Cas but they obviously couldn't choose that one)
My idea of what Actually Happened (aka Chuck Won Theory):
They try to separate the idea of destiny and Chuck's pre-written path, but they are one and the same. 15x20 is exactly the unsatisfying, mediocre ending Chuck wants to punish them with.
Dean's heaven is designed to make him want to stay. Everyone he loves within reach, the mention of a Cas that isn't in the empty (leaving Dean with no motivation to free him of hes 'already out') and the promise Sam will eventually arrive.
Chuck's ending still happened. One of them still got killed. Chuck's still pulling the strings and they are all still in the Hamster Wheel.
Overall: it ended the show. It didn't end Supernatural.

Note
I was already planning on voting for Trump, but after this past month (esp. the assassination attempt and the Left's response), I am more determined than ever. I am willing to walk 10 miles uphill in a blizzard if I need to, because these people hate me. They have nothing but contempt for the values I hold dear. They would cheer if I died; we saw that with Corey Comperatore. At this point, I'm ready to crawl on rusty nails and broken glass if that's what it takes.
And that’s what these leftists and the democrat party do not understand. Everything they do to try and keep Trump from being President or keep people from voting for him is backfiring and only convincing more and more people to vote for him.
All they are doing is showing everyone how corrupt and evil they are and making Americans absolutely determined to elect the person they are doing everything in their power (and not in their power) to prevent from being President.
They are their own worst enemy.

Gonna leave some golden girls headcanons here and then I’ll do a separate one for Dorothy x Blanche (there are too many):
1. Sophia would teach them her Sicilian recipes and it’d be like private cookery classes. Blanche would struggle with it slightly but eventually get the hang of it with some half hearted instructions; Dorothy would be quite ‘clumsy’ with the ingredients and begs Blanche for help, but the two get a little… distracted. Sophia fondly (or not so fondly) curses them out in Italian. Rose is a natural and Sophia is very proud of her and calls her “My only worthy daughter”. That is, until Rose decides on her next attempt to add some Scandinavian twists and the 4 of them end up with mild food poisoning.
2. Dorothy and Rose share a love of musical theatre. Dorothy’s favourite is Les Misérables for its powerful message on social hierarchy and the way it advocates for compassion, human kindness and hope when fighting for justice, no matter what you’ve been through. It always makes her cry. Rose, choses the far more contemporary Matilda, and when asked, she says it reminds her of her childhood. Dorothy points out she wasn’t the smartest person in the world and Rose would roll her eyes and explain it was because she didn’t always pick up on social cues which would isolate her from other children, and later adults. This would fit in with @eeblouissant’s headcanon that Rose is autistic, since Matilda is also suspected to be too.
3. Sophia and Blanche sing Copacabana for Karaoke at every opportunity. No one knows how this tradition started, but every Sunday after the football the pair head down to the rusty anchor to serenade the guys. They adore Sophia, and Blanche improves on her singing after many, many, many weeks.
4. Every birthday, the other 3 girls make a homemade cheesecake instead of a regular cake and add candles. Rose sings in Swedish, Sophia in Italian and Blanche in French (even though she forgot most of it after finishing school) Dorothy is the only one who sings in English. However, after it gets too loud, they all sing in English the second time around!
5. Blanche is far richer than any of them realise - she’s from an old money family and married a wealthy guy; they know she’s well off, they just don’t realise HOW rich. The only reason she has roommates is for her own personal comfort so that she doesn’t feel as lonely after the kids left and George died. Plus, she wanted some more female friends too, so it was the perfect solution.
6. Sophia’s least favourite child is Gloria, and she praises her so much because she feels bad about it. Sophia loves Phil dearly but doesn’t understand him entirely. Dorothy’s her first baby, and the one she’s the most similar personality wise. Of course, she’s not crazy about the fact she put her into shady pines, but she appreciates all the things Dorothy puts up with for Sophia, even if she doesn’t always show it.
7. Sophia is protective of all of the girls, but has a well hidden soft spot for Rose. She loves them all equally, but she feels a certain need to protect Rose because of her naivety. Rose brings out her maternal side because she knows the other two are better at defending themselves. Obviously Rose can too, but they underestimate her abilities: though Sophia used her sarcasm to hide her concern for Rose’s mental health after they were burgled in S1.
8. Rose and Blanche paint each other’s nails. Blanche tries to coax Dorothy to let her paint her nails too (considering Blanche is Dorothy’s biggest weak spot) and sometimes she agrees, but most of the time the best friends practice on each other instead.
9. Sometimes when Dorothy’s particularly sad, she goes to Sophia’s room and makes Ma brush her hair to remind Dorothy of her simpler childhood days. One of the most comforting things in Dorothy’s life was when Sophia would wake her in the early hours of the morning to plait her hair; sometimes it hurt because Dorothy’s hair was naturally curly, but she’d never complain because it gave them more 1:1 time together without the burden of her siblings.
10. Rose was the smartest person in St Olaf - she taught them to go inside when it rains, she went to St. Gustav university to do Latin (I headcanon she got a 1st) and in my personal opinion the reason she knows so much about the town’s gossip was that she was a private investigator for the elite in St Olaf. And Bridget went to Oxford, so she must’ve got her intelligence from somewhere! She just doesn’t tell this information to the others as she doesn’t want them to feel bad about themselves.
11. Blanche suffered post-partum depression after Janet’s birth and that’s why they’ve got the worst relationship out of the children. Don’t get me wrong, Blanche wasn’t the mother of the year and had many faults, but she clearly had stronger bonds with the other 5. We don’t hear anything negative about the relationship with her sons, and Becky’s just seems like poor communication which is quickly resolved and they eventually become exceptionally close (particularly after the moving birth of Baby Oreo at the beginning of S6. With Janet, she was a new mother and considering PPD wasn’t recognised as a condition until the 1990s, she wouldn’t have gotten the right support either - probably trying to hide it to appear like the perfect wife and mother to her other high society friends. She adores Janet, but it definitely would’ve impacted their relationship.
12. Rose knits her own animal jumpers, basing them off the animals she remembers tending to on the farm. She also knits pride badges onto Dorothy and Blanche’s clothes and accessories to show support for them (and to get used to knitting different patterns.)
14. Blanche has a Diet Coke obsession like me. No further explanations needed.
15. Blanche first learned to cook from Mammy Watkins. Blanche clearly knows how to cook from the catering episode (was it one for the money?) and obviously she could’ve learned to cook as an older woman, but in my opinion she would’ve learned to cook from her Mammy. They were very close and Blanche was clearly the favourite Hollingsworth child; and she wasn’t close to her sisters (even though she was her brothers) so while she was cooking, it’d only be natural that they’d do it together. They’d have to hide it in case Mammy got in trouble though. Blanche wouldn’t have expected to cook and clean as a rich, married woman of that era as she probably would’ve had maids etc- but old habits die hard; especially the childhood ones.
16. Dorothy had a girlfriend before she met Stan. So did Blanche, but unlike Blanche, Dorothy tried to suppress the fact she was attracted to multiple genders after she and the girlfriend broke up, so she got drunk and slept with Stan to try and stop the pain in her heart. That’s one of the biggest what-ifs in her life :(
17. Blanche would be a fan of anything 50s-80s that’s remotely upbeat or popish, and is a big, big fan of Gwen Stefani, Madonna, Nina Simone and Ella Fitzgerald. Odd combos, but it works for her. Dorothy Likes Frank Sinatra, Cyndi Lauper, Prince and George Michael, and is a big fan of jazz, but listens to anything really. Sophia loves Boney M, Pavarotti, Cher (obviously) and she and Dorothy share a profound love for Eminem. Rose loves ABBA, Amy Grant, The Beatles and Nirvana.

Dear Dolly,
Uptown girl…living in an uptown world…. If the soundwaves from the clock radio weren't enough to get me out of bed, then the skittering of nails against the floor and barking was. It was like the whole world was heralding me as I finally turned eighteen after five excruciating years of waiting. Despite taking the same steps yesterday, each breath and step I took felt as if there was an added weight to it. The dolls on my shelf grinned at me from where they sat. Dolls of wood, paper, and yarn sat like an eccentric rainbow. The smell of fresh poppies from the garden invaded my nose as I opened the window. I sat at my desk before pulling out a chisel and working on the hardwood before me. "Happy eighteenth birthday…" I said as I began to chip away at it.
"Happy thirteenth birthday." I sighed as I strolled down the street, the sun's heat pummeling me. My knees felt like they needed to be oiled, barely cranking high enough to do a full rotation. My hair felt like hay, scratching the back of my neck. Only one side was braided; my grandmother's fragile hands couldn't form three strands.
In all honesty, she couldn't do anything anymore. My fingers curled into the basket as I took another breath, the wood pricking me slightly. I tried recalling the groceries Grandma sent me out to get. Eggs, milk, ham, cereal, bread, and cheese. Eggs, milk, ham, cereal, bread, and BARK!
I reached down to pet the family dog, Annie. Grandma got me here to keep me company and support me after Mama died. She gave odd a smoky scent like the poppies mama, and I used to tend to. My toes wiggled slightly in my tiny red shoes, and I clicked them twice, shutting my eyes for a second.
"Take me home…" I whisper. But Mama wasn't home. I looked down at the bright yellow streets and took a deep breath. Sometimes, I feel like Rumplestikin has already gotten to me. Put me on strings, and I spin gold daily with no sign of light.
I continued to walk, and soon, the building turned into hollow dead trees with flying monkeys taunting me. My breath felt constricted within my chest, trying to break out and grasp onto something.
Then I saw it, my little beacon of light. A bright green shop with a golden framed door; the paint was peeling, and the door handle was rusty…but it felt like it was just begging me to open it. DING!
The door closed behind me with a low thud, a cloud of dust greeting me. Paintings framed by golden bars and clicking grandfather clocks were scattered throughout the store, along with more antiques. Little dolls stared at me from the shelves, the hairspray just radiating off their hair. The gag-inducing smell of old peeling paint from the shelf caused me to scrunch my nose.
A man with light grey hairs creeped out from the back of the shop, his back slightly hunched and a small but sturdy wooden cane supporting him as he walked over. He smiled softly at me, wrinkles creasing his forehead and around his lips. Despite his old age, he seemed to radiate life. His eyes twinkled like stars, and he stared at each antique as if Tinkerbell had sprinkled them with fairy dust, turning them into gold. He continued throughout the shop, picking things up and dusting them off before he finally came to the shelf where I looked at the dolls.
"What's your name?" He asked, breaking the layer of silence.
"My name is Elizabeth," I say. "I'm not very fond of my name… it's too proper. No adventurous lady has a name like Elizabeth."
"Your name doesn't define you. You define you." He picked up a doll whose hair was wheat-coloured like mine and pointed towards the arms.
"You see these wooden carvings? You'll never find the same pattern twice on these dolls. Similar, yes, but never the same, no." He pulled up the fabric and revealed the whole arm. Each swirl and curve looked like one of Vincent van Gogh's paintings.
"They were made to be changed, unlike those dolls they sell nowadays with the clip-on clothes. No, you had to design your own out of the fabric you had, carve each defining line on it." He held the doll out towards me. "Just like how you define yourself. One line at a time."
I carefully picked it out of his hands, my fingers feeling the carvings as they dug into my skin. It seemed to radiate warmth like the warm embrace of my mother.
"Happy eighteenth birthday, Lizzie!" my friend's voice rang from outside my window. I smiled as I ran out of my room, passing by my desk, where a little doll with golden-coloured hair, one braid, and little red pumps sat on a book called "Lizzie's Great Adventures."

I've been waiting for your reaction to the spn finale omg.
Personally, it made me think the writers have watched season 1 episode 1 and went with that. Like you said, Dean's character development went DOWNHILL. What was the point of letting him struggle for 15 seasons if this is the conclusion? I was (still am) very pressed about that - I mean, no need for a happy ending, but these guys fought every monster in the book, dieties, the literal devil, GOD HIMSELF and a rusty nail is what takes him out??? Silver lining is: When I watched the finale with my mom it reminded her to get her tetanus shot, lmao.
Also something that breaks my heart to think about: If the 4 months in hell felt like 40 years for Dean and he died in his early-mid 40s are y'all trying to tell me he's basically been in hell and a hunter for about roughly the same amount of time? That's f-ed up, he deserved better.
hi lovely!!! i’m so sorry it took me so long to get to this :(
but YEAH LITERALLY WHAT WAS THE POINT??? and you cannot tell me that sam just let him die, i’m sorry but they did not just go through the near end of the universe and lost everybody in the process for sam to lose dean too. i don’t understand why he couldn’t have just prayed to jack or something yeah he’s god (which i also don’t like much he’s a KID) but it’s jack i’m sure he’d make an exception for his literal family INCLUDING CASTIEL AND IM STILL MAD HE WASNT EVEN IN THE FINALE ARE YOU KIDDING???
also OUCH OMFG??? yeah that is fucked up, dean’s time in hell is so overlooked it’s insane, same with sam tbh they move past traumas too quickly in this show

Spn finale- three years later
So i know i might be a little late to this but i have just finished binging supernatural. After s15e20 i have some thoughts.
First off: Cas. Where is he? In heaven Bobby mentioned Cas "helped jack" when fixing heaven. Does that mean Cas is in heaven? I thought he couldnt come back from the Empty? If he is in heaven then why dont we see him? If he is in the Empty then why did Bobby say that??? Its never brought up.
And then theres Cas' death. It's hardly mentioned past episode 18, and its mentioned like once in 20.
And they never mention or acknowledge the love confession!!!!!!!
Second: What about Jody and Claire and Donna and Kaia and other world bobby and charlie and all the other people they cared about? Only Donna is really in 18 and none of them are past that. Did they ever come back after Chuck got defeated? Presumably they did. But why don't they ever show up? Wouldn't Claire probably want to be there when Sam burns dean's body? Wouldn't Jody? The point the show tried to make was that Sam didn't have anybody left? so they just ignored these other characters????
Third: After all those years 15 years Dean dies from a RUSTY NAIL??? ON A CASUAL RANDOM JUST ANOTHER WEDNESDAY VAMPIRE HUNT??????????????
WHO SAID THAT WAS A GOOD IDEA????
Finally: Wasn't the whole point of everything they did for 15 seasons, all those apocalypses and not-quite-deaths free will? Wasn't the whole point of defeating Chuck them finally getting out of the hamster wheel and living their own lives? Then dean dies like immediately after, and the whole thing is framed like sam has no one left and has to build a whole new life. Not even acknowledging the people they lost along the way (CAS?!?!) Or the people he still has left (see: second point).
So in conclusion, total shit finale, so many things weren't addressed or just tied up terribly.
Please, I need some good fix-it fics so if you have recs please tell me.

So, I finally caught up on the past two cons for the most part.
Tumblr media
As a writer, Dean's death will never not be tragic to me, in the worst way.
We can talk about bad messaging. We can talk about the ridiculous way it happened (rusty nail, anyone?). We can talk about COVID and how that impacted everything they decided to do behind the scenes.
But ultimately, it was not the right way for Dean to go out. I respect Jensen's opinion, feelings, and eventual acceptance on the matter (obviously) but there's some things that are missing here that aren't being talked about. By him, anyone else involved with the show, or even the fandom.
Dean didn't die a hero's death or a warrior's death as Jensen called it. A hero's death is when there is some form of self-sacrifice involved. There was none of that happening in that scene. Had Dean pushed one of the kids out of the way and then was impaled, or pushed Sam out of the way even, then it could be considered a hero's death. Even if there was no one to push out of the way, had Dean gone up against the Big Bad, dying in the process, again -- sacrifice. But that didn't happen either. No, instead, he is sacrificed in the story line (to set up Sam's endgame), sent to drive around Heaven for 40 years, and his agency is taken away from him. Had he truly been a side character all along, then obviously this wouldn't even be an issue. But he wasn't; he's been a main character since at least season 4 of the show or even earlier. The show may have started out with Sam as the sole protagonist but it had evolved by the time season 4 rolled around and Dean had been made one as well.
Dean only regains agency in that one scene in The Winchesters (1x13) when his primary motivation (Sam) is given back to him through the exposition he does in the scene with The Winchesters' characters, Bobby, and Jack.
Your hero (like I said, this includes Sam as well) is not supposed to lose their agency. That's the whole point. They're always given a choice even when their circumstances might not be of their own choosing. Think Jon Snow. Think Aragorn and Frodo. Think Iron Man. Even Buffy Summers or the Halliwell sisters. Maverick in the second Top Gun movie, sacrificing himself to save Rooster and then (not to spoil for those who may have not seen the movie yet) we see what happens. But the point is, he made that choice. Rooster made his choice. The two main characters of the film. The hero is always given the choice.
If this had happened when facing off with Chuck, even then it still might have been better. Chuck was the final Big Bad; you don't get higher than God in this fictional world, right? Again, that would have been a warrior's death.
And that doesn't even begin to address that this was not where Dean and Sam's stories were leading in the narrative. I know we've all talked about the "two finales" that 15x19 and 15x20 were respectively, but I do wish they had left it open-ended like they did in 15x19. That not only would have made more sense for their arcs over the past ten plus years but it also would have allowed (again, narratively) for a proper reboot/continuation/revival down the road. I am interested to see how the idea Jared talked about would come about and I'm sure they'll make it work, but seriously (and I mean no disrespect to Jensen, Jared, or the crew who worked hard on the episode) that whole ending was a disaster that just didn't need to happen. Both boys died to keep the parallel going but them being alive and on the open road would have kept that parallel between them going as well.
Dean already had a beautiful death monologue in 9x23 to Sam. While Jensen and Jared gave their all in that scene and I fully acknowledge that and appreciate it, I do wish we hadn't gotten that dialogue in the barn scene. It has nothing to do with ship wars or fandom drama -- it has to do with the character development for both boys being nuked solely by the dialogue in the five minutes it took for Dean to die. It literally undid every single thing that happened since 1x01 for each brother and everything they had been through. While I'm all for the beautiful brotherly moments (and Jensen and Jared acted the crap out of that scene), this just felt so completely wrong. I don't care about the forehead touch or the hand holding or anything else. All of it was fine except for that dialogue that mentions John, Stanford, etc. Just completely nuking 15 years, all to bring it back to the pilot. But instead of it being a beautiful tribute to their beginning while also showcasing their development and their journey, they brought it right back to that moment instead, in a way that just makes you scratch your head and go "what?" It reminds me a lot of Daenerys' death scene monologue actually - completely nuked character development and conflicting messages to the audience.
Like I said, I completely respect Jensen's (and Jared's) opinion on the 15x20 death and if Jensen eventually got to a place where he's at peace with it and that's how he views the scene (a warrior's death), then I'm happy for him. But writing wise, the way the show chose to go about it didn't make sense. And that includes Sam's ending as well. Sam may have honored his brother's wishes to live his life peacefully, that's great and true of their brotherly bond and to Dean's character, but showing Sam in the party city wig breaking down crying in the Impala years down the road was not it.
Sure, he missed his brother and there's nothing wrong with showing that, but again conflicting messages in the writing. He left Dean and hunting behind in the bunker and moved on with his life (the whole significance of him sitting in Dean's room and shutting down the bunker btw), marrying and having a family. He even had Dean 2.0 as his son, a part of Dean living on and Sam honoring his memory. So why the breakdown scene?
15x20 will always be a sticky point with me when it comes to the series as a whole. Like Jensen said once upon a time, those who like it and those who have issues with it are both valid. But me, I tend to lean towards the latter camp though I don't completely hate it. It's still part of our boys' story. I just wish they had decided to go about it a different way or at the very least, make some tweaks to make it make more sense in the end while staying true to the characters and everything they had endured for 15 years.

Okay you asked about monstery (at some point, arguably yesterday, at least in this time zone), so, what about Peter and Lucian on a trip to Hungary (reasons unimportant) stumble across Lucian's old mad science labs. With or without literal skeletal remains? Peter is... curious?
I am up for writing a little drama and Lucian admitting he practiced unethical science!
This involves vampire Peter, so it's double the monster.
On with the fic!
--
"Soooo... what exactly are we lookin' for?" Peter asked as he struggled to get down the rusty, wet ladder. He screeched when he lost his footing, but luckily Lucian was under him, catching the lanky man. "Sorry, thanks."
"You're welcome." Lucian replied before carefully setting him down on his feet. "And we're looking for, well..." He touched at his chest. "Something important."
"Well, what does it look like?"
"Old, gold, and with a green gem in it."
"Jewelry?"
"It belonged to my wife."
"Ah." Peter nodded, frowning. He turned on his torch and flashed it about, nearly screaming when the light landed on-
Lucian pulled him behind him. "It's just a skeleton."
"Is that what your bones look like when you're a lycan!?"
He winced and looked away. "Let's... not dwell on it, come along. We shouldn't be down here, I don't know how structurally sound the old place is."
Peter gave him the flashlight, then grabbed the back of Lucian's jacket, letting himself be pulled along. They were quiet as they passed by the remains of the battle from so long ago, it was... depressing to dwell on. Lucian didn't like that his fellow lycans, or even the vampires, were not given some sort of burial when his body had been taken from here. He had to wonder if they were only after him and Viktor.
"Here we are. Let's check in here first." Lucian spoke as he opened a familiar door, it creaked loudly. He found the light switch and the lights blinked on, blinding for a moment. Huh, he hadn't expected the power to still be working.
"What the fuck?" Peter asked from over his shoulder. "Is this a doctor's office or somethin'?"
"It's... a lab." Lucian frowned.
"A lab?" Peter slipped into the room, glancing about, confused by all the rusted items left behind. He noticed a contraption that clearly showed that someone had once been strapped to it. He raised an eyebrow and looked at Lucian. "Uhhh... this looks like somethin' from a horror movie. You wanna explain, babe?"
Lucian really didn't want to explain, how do you tell your vampire hunter boyfriend that you had kidnapped humans and even a few vampires to perform experiments on them?
"Lycans get injured, got to be patched up sometimes, we don't always... heal. Quickly." As he spoke, Peter narrowed his eyes.
"Dude. I'm not stupid. This has straps, and it ain't kinky." He approached Lucian and jabbed him in the chest with a clawed nail. "Talk."
Lucian looked at the table before sighing. "You know about my desire to unite the species, yes?"
"Course, you wanted to make a hybrid, what's that gotta-" Peter's eyes widened and he stared. "You were doin' DNA splicing!?"
"Ehhh... not really. I mean, in a sense, it was more of a combination experiment to make the hybrid. I had been tracking down the bloodline of the third brother, the one I told you about before, to see if the blood was able to act as a binding agent in order to bring together the vampire DNA and the lycan DNA.
Originally, we had taken blood from the humans, and... tried them on captured vampires. None ended well, the neutral blood was not enough, so... we did more experiments, tracked down more humans. Some died, but this is normal with medical science, right?"
Peter stared at him. "Lucian, what the fuck?"
"Just so you are aware-!" Lucian held up a finger. "In the last few years of things, I was experimenting on myself with the blood! Doing much of the testing myself, and then it was finally narrowed down to Michael, and he... he was perfect!"
"The guy you told me you changed before you 'died'?"
"Yes. I... had him strapped to this table the night he was finally changing into a lycan, helping to surpress it to protect him, the vampires were after him. I was able to take a sample of his blood and injected it into myself, but then..."
Lucian ran a hand through his hair, hissing through his teeth. "Kraven showed up, and the bastard shot me! Pumped me full of silver, the fucker. I think the blood from Michael actually saved me, left me in a coma rather than killing me outright. He got bit by Selene, the vampire that Viktor took in, and she was able to complete the changes, he became the perfect hybrid."
He looked at Peter. "You have to understand, Peter, I did this to end the war, I had to! Yes, I... I didn't do it well in those final years, it became an obsession, and it consumed me, terribly. It wasn't until I spoke with Michael that it really started to settle in me that I was obsessed and when I was shot, I felt like I ruined everything with this. I killed my pack with my desire to get what was taken from me and my wife."
Peter looked bothered and bit his lip. "You experimented on people."
"I know."
"That's pretty fucked up, Lucian."
"I know."
"And you experimented on yourself, like some sort of... Frankenstein, or... I dunno, Herbert West!"
"I... don't think they exactly tested on themselves, but the whole mad scientist thing you are clearly hinting at is... clear. I guess I was a bit like that."
Peter groaned, rubbing at his face. "Are you going to, like, bring this shit back? Is that why we're really here?"
"No. I really came here to find my necklace. I didn't think this place was still standing." Lucian frowned deeply. "Peter, I am sorry. There are no plans for me to do anything like this again. My hybrid is out there, and the war is... less violent than it had been. Viktor is also dead, finally, I have had my goals taken care of."
"Hm." Peter kicked at a fallen syringe, it slid across the wet floor. "That's still fucked up, really fucked up. But... I mean, you were trying to do the right thing, yeah?"
"Ending a war and bringing int other world proof that lycans and vampires are actually two sides of the same coin and shouldn't be enemies? In a sense, yes."
"Your wife and I are proof that lycans and vampires can love each other too, if that helps." Peter mumbled, crossing his arms.
Lucian smiled a little at this. "Yes, it helps quite a lot, my love." He looked around the lab. "We should move on. Best to keep going, I do not want us in here any longer than we need to be."
"Yeah, let's dip. The spooky lab vibe is only fun in movies and dumb Halloween haunted house attractions." Peter grimaced, taking Lucian's hand. "Also, glad you injected blood in you that saved your life, but for the love of fuck, don't do that. Sounds gross and bad and dangerous."
"Noted. Come along now, watch your step."
--
It's gonna hit Peter when they get back to their hotel and he's gonna tell Lucian what a spooky, freaky idiot he is and holy shit, that is some scary shit! Don't! Don't do that! Jesus H, did you really have to do this!?
He is also in denial about the fact that freaky mad scientist Lucian sounds super hot.

Bee lore bc yes- (and I'm bored asf and made some changes, there's a lot)
TWs: grape, trafficking, mention of alcoholism
Bee's birthday is May 23rd, 1958 and her real full name is "Pheonix Vera Oh" bc she was adopted by Zero as an infant after her and Mantis' mom gave her away (she was forced to since she had Bee pretty young). Bee never really talked at all till she was 11 years old, she mostly only made weird screeching or hooting noises. Her powers still kicked in when she was 4 years old and ended up bursting into flames and screaming her head off because it randomly got extremely loud. (Imagine walking in and your adopted daughter is screaming at the top of her lungs while she's on fire laying and rolling on the floor😭)
She was eventually put out then was completely fine, no burns no nothing. So bc of it they started running tests on her and shit, mostly just a brain surgery and random checkups. She was given to The Boss to hopefully get a better understanding of her abilities bc the COBRA unit is mfs with special abilities like her. But after operation Snaker Eater, Zero had Bee meet her real parents and her mother decided to take her back but let her continue visiting Zero. The relationship between Bee and her bio parents was awkward especially because she was a freak, her mom understood Bee pretty well and was the nicest person to her. Dad kinda just ignored her existence unless something was needed or whatever. So that's when her name was changed to "Svetlana Vera Rebenok" (or whatever last name her parents had) for possibly safety reasons.
She didn't do much as a kid, kinda just hung around and ofc didn't speak at all. There were times she was caught digging into the trash for anything metal or glass or even aluminum, hiding in the woods and climbing trees next to owls nest to the point the owls just became chill with her being there like she was one of them in a way. Her eyes glow brightly from built up energy so she probably scared a bunch of other kids and in result of it she didn't have any friends other than birds (or any stray animal she came across). I wouldn't be surprised if she came home with a raccoon, opossum, or even a whole owl in her hands or following her along with have rusty cans or nails and broken glass in her pockets.
I imagine she was there for when Mantis was born and witnessed their mom die so it fucked her up good, she was there for Mantis for a little while till early or mid 1973 when she left for Vietnam thinking she could take war, she could not. She got 10x more fucked up within 2 to 3 months. In Vietnam she was burned by napalm and been captured by American soliders where she was taken advantage of while knocked out and nearly sold to human trafficking, she eventually discovered what was being done to her and she snapped then killed them all using her powers and stole one of their uniforms. When brought to Zero they had discovered one of the soliders have impregnated her but when the baby was born it was immediately put up for adoption. When she went back to Russia she decided to continue taking care of Mantis so there's a high chance she wasn’t involved in peacewalker or ground zeros. At some point after Zero became very sick then brain dead along with discovering Paz's death, she developed a cocaine addiction along with a group of friends and out of an episode of being high off her ass she had her twin sons "Alan David Morozov" and "Luke Viktor Morozov" on February 28th, 1979. Eventually she met Quiet sometime after the twins were born and became sober with Quiet's help. In 1983, Bee had a daughter named, "Irina Pacifica Baranov" out of denial of being a lesbian but she later came to terms with it. Irina's father died in the events of 1984 in the Cyprus hospital as an XOF soldier. Bee had joined XOF around the same time as Quiet has. Her original intentions in XOF was to betray Skull Face and kill him herself, but it turned into her being posted as a spy at Diamond dogs as Quiet was posted to spread the parasite. However, Bee commonly spilled everything to Ocelot and Miller even though her and Miller had a strong disliking to eachother (mostly on Miller's end). However when Quiet went MIA, so did Bee. At this point Bee has discovered what has happened to her and Mantis' village and learned that Mantis was the floating boy so naturally she went go hunt him down in Africa to reunite with him and take him to the USA with her, Quiet, and her 3 kids.
At some point when Mantis ran off to join the KGB, Bee went off to join FOXHOUND and the CIA as well around the same time. She was a double agent for the CIA and FOXHOUND. However when Mantis joined FOXHOUND along side her, she was absolutely pissed and ended up lying to the CIA about some stuff to hopefully keep Mantis at least a little bit safer (how did that turn out Bee? Hm?).
After the Shadow Moses Incident she basically disappeared for a few years, turned out she was in the UK maintaining the Cipher base. She finally left the UK in 2012 and went to visit the US to be with family and finally personally met her grandkids and Luke's (at the time) boyfriend, and overall caught up with a bunch of other things that she missed out on. Possibly reunited with old friends as well if any lived passed Shadow Moses.
In 2018 when Zero finally died, Bee took the full legal mantle of Cipher along with his position within the CIA and any other groups he was in.
She became a great grandmother in 2020 through her son Alan. And became a grandmother to Luke and his now husband's adopted son and daughter around the same time frame.
Bee now as of 2023 is Cipher and technically the last remaining patriot other than the AIs until she dies at 115 in 2073.
Extra notes:
Due to Bee's relationship with Quiet, Bee has inherited the parasite but it does not affect her vocal cords for an unknown reason but it does repair any damaged tissue. Her liver and kidneys for example due to the fact is an alcoholic. Yes she has the parasite flare but doesn't use it as often as Quiet does.
After Solid Snake's retirement, Bee has hunted down Solid Snake and killed him herself, keeping his bandana and even teeth.
Yes, she keeps people's teeth. If she killed someone there is a high chance she collected their teeth and dogtags.
She (almost) has always had a small explosive located in her lower spine but if it is remove there is a possibility she will never walk again since it has become a part of her skeleton at this point. It'll only go off if a certain amount of pressure is pressed up on it or if her back breaks. It can also be activated by built up gasses after death.
Due to her ability of being able to burst into flames, her body temperature is higher than the average person so she is able to be in Alaska or certain cold environments fairly fine until she uses that ability. If she uses the ability she'll fall asleep and become extremely cold (to her anyways), making her extremely vulnerable. YES HER SUITS/OUTFITS ARE FIREPROOF YOU PERVERTS(/playfully but also seriously).
However due to her special fire ability, she can heat stroke faster than the average person.

11. describe your ideal outcome/endgame for the muse you are currently writing. if you are a multimuse blog: do this for your current favorite muse, or the muse of the last reply you posted.
questions for muns.
i'm going to ignore basically all the parameters of the question re: multis and just mention dean. i didn't watch to the end of the show, but i do know how his story ended, and it feels ... unfair to him and everything he'd been through (but maybe i don't have the right context since i stopped watching long before the last season). i am a huge supporter of the fact that not every protagonist is a hero. and so not every protagonist deserves the happy ending. but it depends on their story and who their character is and the journey(s) and arc(s) they've had.
and dean is sort of your traditional hero. he's not a perfect person, but he holds all of those other traditional heroic qualities. he constantly puts himself in harm's way for other people, people he doesn't even know. hunting? he gets nothing out of it, really. he does it because he can and he feels it's right. who else is going to do it, if not him? (yes, he knows there are plenty of other hunters out there in the world, but he also just feels personally obligated in certain ways which is another discussion due to his upbringing but ... u know.) and he even says himself that "saving people" is just part of the "family business." perfect man or not ... he's selfless. and for everything that he sacrificed, everything he went through — saving his family, selling his soul, dying, going to hell, saving the world over and over again — he deserved a quiet, happy ending, i think. not the one he got. i'm not asking for the scenario of watching him grow to old age and die in his sleep sort of thing. i wouldn't need to go that far. but it would have been nice to get the chance to see him take a step back almost ... have that normal life he always dreamed of. then again ... would de.an wi.che.ster realistically make the choice even do that? again, idk where exactly his character was by the end of the show, but i focus on earlier-seasons dean and i think, if given the choice, just like the end of season 5 ... he would. if it was a world where sam was safe and happy himself, i think dean might stop.
i can also understand the viewpoint of dean's death at the end sort of being the way to show sam the value of having a normal life. and, in that way, i get it. even if it wasn't dean's intention, it makes sense that his death would be that turning point for sam — doing one last thing for the good of his little brother, and dean giving his own life for it.
but that doesn't mean i'll stop being upset dean died to a rusty nail in a barn or whatever happened. and i'm glad they apparently did those scenes in heaven of dean sitting with bobby and driving in his car — i think that's great. because he got there, he deserved to be in heaven, and maybe that is the peace he deserved all along. but he never really got to have a life. and i think that's what hurts.
also i'm aware he does come back somehow?? in the win.ches.ters series but i'm not watching it and therefore idk what the context is and that's all greek to me.

hello! i am here to ask you to go on for days and days about jacob's great-great aunt susannah black, because this sounds SUPER interesting
First, thank you for giving me reason to talk about Susannah, I've grown quite fond of her :) Second, sorry this took a minute! I realized that most of my thoughts and ideas were not organized and I had to fix that lol.
So, canonically, we only know that she exists and is one of Ephraim's sisters. She's in the Black family tree that exists on the wiki (one of the three that makes me want to gouge out my eyes with a rusty spoon they're awful and 1000% the reason I made my own), and we know that she and Deborah are twins. As the Cullens originally came to Hoquiam sometime in the mid-30s (the treaty was signed sometime in 1936), we can assume Susannah was alive at that point. For my purposes, she was born in 1915 and was 21 when the treaty was signed.
Therefore, when the Cullens returned in 2003, which is only 67 years later, it's not unreasonable to assume that people who were around during their first stay are still alive, though we're told canonically that all of the last pack has died by this point (also a BOLD choice for Carlisle to make- Mr. Cullen, MD should know a normal human lifespan by this point if he's been alive and practicing medicine for centuries). Therefore, Susannah, now in her late 80s and now a tribal elder, remembers exactly who the Cullens are and is not happy about the fact they returned.
She is also one of the remaining native speakers of the Quileute language and worked with the tribal school to develop the curriculum they teach, in addition to being a talented artisan and fantastic cook.
Having been there for Ephraim during his initial phase and adjusting to the role of alpha (while also likely dealing with the OIA agents and the creation of the tribal constitution), she is not a fan of the 'let's leave this group of teenagers to deal with this life-altering transformation alone' policy that seemingly exists canonically and becomes one of the pack's fiercest defenders and advocates.
She can be a bit reserved but will fight tooth and nail for those she loves, which she does quite often for the pack. But good luck getting back into her good graces if you break her trust.
Also! This gives me a reason to change Jacob's suspicions about the pack in New Moon pre-phase. The idea that most of La Push thought Sam was a cult leader is just silly (forming a gang, maybe, but cult activity? come on). Instead, Jacob is extremely confused and suspicious about why Sam, Jared, Paul, and later Embry are suddenly spending so much time with his Auntie Susannah

NPC | The Prescott Ghosts
Tumblr media
Character Relation: These ghosts haunt The Prescott Hotel, owned and maintained by Nadia. They all know her and are generally friendly...but some are corrupting her.
Tumblr media
Wilhelmina Prescott | Died at age 18 in 1858
As is true of most ghost stories, it begins with an unspeakable crime. Wilhelmina Prescott, the lovely heir to her father’s bountiful fortune is swept away by a mysterious nobleman who turns out to be nothing more than a common swindler and conman, in the dead of night killing his young bride and burying her body in The Prescott’s foundation. The hotel is built up, no one knowing about the curse that has now befallen the grounds. Unlike the other spirits that regularly haunt the premises and make themselves known to staff and guest alike, Wilhelmina prefers her privacy in the barren underbelly of the Prescott.
Every 18 years she, with the help of the current owner and her fellow specters, adds to the family, damning another soul to an everlasting stay at the hotel.
Tumblr media
Clancy “Cash” Lowell | Died at age 34 in 1876
The first known dead soul in the history of The Prescott, lost only a few years into its conception. Everything was new, vibrant. The soul of the hotel was warmer and this was it’s first run in with something far more cold-blooded. Good Ol’ Cash Lowell— nothing was good about him, his name best know through the numerous wanted posters that littered the West. Cattle rustler, blackmailer, adulterer, bandit, murderer; in the end there were so many crimes and vile acts listed beneath his name that they simply settled on calling him an outlaw. And eventually, every outlaw is caught; his death was brought upon by local bounty killers. His soul has remained with The Prescott ever since, still marked by evil and causing a majority of the problems that occur within it’s walls.
He’s one of the bolder ghosts, freely showing himself to guests like he was simply another eccentric guest himself; Clancy is also the ringleader of the gang of ghosts, only tipping his hat to Nadia or Wilhelmina.
Tumblr media
Kassandra Priddy | Died at 57 in 1894
Probably the worst maid in the history of The Prescott, or any other hotel for that matter. Sure, the rooms have never been cleaner but her sticky fingers and nosy ways made her generally disliked among the other staff as well as the guests. In her time as a maid, she amassed a large collection of trinkets and prized possessions from wealthy guests— all that thievery wasn’t the cause of her death, however. Clancy had actually come into her quarters in the middle of the night and quite literally scared her to death. She has yet to forgive him but her obligation to the hotel, both her home and place of work, runs deep. To this day she is always cleaning, dusting away as she wanders through the rooms. And to this day, guest still report missing items; much to Nadia’s dismay.
Tumblr media
Valentina Novak | Died at 23 in 1912
She can’t remember when she died nor the circumstances around it. She vaguely remembers the tub, being submerged, feeling sleepy— but every time she thinks too hard on it, she feels herself being pulled under once more. She was just trying to start a new life, forget her past sins and past mistakes; it seemed her punishment still caught up with her. Always soggy, always shivering, she haunts the bathrooms, sinks, and tubs within The Prescott. She’s also one the more calm and considerate entities within it’s walls, as well as the most careful about who she reveals herself to and when. Val is also incredibly wary of Clancy, she couldn’t tell you why, but she makes it a point to avoid him at all times.
Tumblr media
Urie Renard | Died at 47 in 1930
Sommeliers are a dying breed. He always said it. Refinement was lost on today’s generation and he held a hint of anger in his soul over it. He died bitter. He died in vain. He died of…of what? Tetanus? Due to a single rusty nail. The Prescott took in his soul in exchange for his anger. It gave him a new life in order to continue its own unholy existence. Urie haunts and works within The Prescott’s wine cellar, only coming out to spit his two cents in every so often. And of course, assist his dear Nadia in completing her debt to the hotel as well. Much like Clancy, Urie is not about to let a little thing like death keep him from working and performing his duties, so he’s also a common sight around the hotel, strolling about the kitchen and wine room at his leisure.
Tumblr media
Sid Priestley | Died at 27 in 1948
Perhaps he’s not as black-hearted as Clancy was, but Sid was still no stranger to sin. It’s what killed him, actually; Sid always had a problem with the drink and even more so with women. Despite having a wife at home, he snuck around a lot, meeting various women and taking them back to his hotel room. He told his wife many, many times he was working but his paycheck wasn’t showing all those moments of supposed overtime. He met his end when his wife, sick of his lies and his discrepancies, decided to take matters into her own hands. Unstable and hurt, she came bursting through his room, just so she could confirm what she knew in her heart to be true. Sid took two bullets to the chest and still feels a strange pang in his chest whenever he moves. He doesn’t care if people see him or not, seemingly more content with sitting at the bar, praying for a drink that will never come.
Tumblr media
Sister Diyar | Died at 36 in 1966
Perhaps the only holy one within these walls, forced to stay put within the grounds of The Prescott instead of being allowed to return to her Maker. Diyar’s passion was ministry and spreading the Gospel, a most noble task that ended at The Prescott; it was a culinary disaster, somehow her plate becoming tainted with pine nuts (to which she was deadly allergic to). To this day no one knows how it happened, seeing as pine nuts were not even available in the kitchen. In the end, Sister Diyar still thinks it was simply a freak accident, a part of the curse brought upon the foundation of The Prescott. She doesn’t speak often but can be found wandering the halls, the Word of God still on the tip of her tongue— also, don’t disregard the Bible in your room’s desk drawer, she rather enjoys flipping them open, leaving a verse underlined for the guests.
Tumblr media
Rosalinda “Roz” Bautista | Died at 19 in 1984
Only one ghost has full reign of The Prescott’s ballroom; Roz died as she lived; having a good ol’ time! She refuses to have any regrets about how much coke she did that night or how many chairs she broke because she kept throwing them around or, you know, the fact that her heart gave out because of all the drugs and adrenaline— It was a party gone mad, the socialite hosts losing control as the masses poured in. The liquor flowed and everyone was under the influence of one drug or another. Roz was a hardcore party girl, and technically still is. She makes the dusty disco ball installed in the ballroom’s ceiling open up randomly, and people’s phones go on the fritz and start playing Cyndi Lauper; she’s insufferable but no one can deny she’s the real life of the party.
Tumblr media
Yvonne Bergfalk | Died at 67 in 2002
Everyone expected Yvonne to live forever; she had so much money and survived at least four husbands before her, it seemed inevitable that in her cold bitterness, she would live until the end of time. Granted, the only reason she maybe didn’t look as old as she was, was due to the fact since she turned 35 she’s been injected, pulled, and prodded by a number of plastic surgeons. It was all to please her various ex-husbands but also because Yvonne had a firm belief that people would write you off the second they saw a wrinkle. But alas, death comes for us all and instead of dying in her sleep, one of Yvonne’s aged implants finally called it quits. Silicone filled her chest cavity and eventually stopped her heart during her bi-yearly trip to The Prescott. It, of course, was the talk of the town and had every tabloid coming into the hotel; she still likes to gloat about all the media attention she got over the whole thing. Now, she likes to pop up in the guest mirrors, mainly to give a bit of fashion advice.

Ego
The space would have put a viewer in mind of a cathedral. A more martial-minded one might imagine it like the inside of a bullet. Objectively, it was a circular chamber with a high ceiling that soared up into a sharp-sloping dome. The air reeked of bloody metal and resounded with the pound of armored feet treading on a gore-sticky floor. A cacophony of obscenities gleaned from across a hundred star systems bounced off the walls.
Sartabakim was gloating, at the moment. He brandished his trophy overhead in one massive scarred fist. The skull had already been turned in- that was compulsory -but this relic was the type that entitled the one who claimed it to showboat. A pair of blood-splattered ceramite wings, lashed together with a length of spiked brass chain.
"Angels fly no longer!" he roared triumphantly, bloody saliva spraying from the shattered remains of a vox-grille. His helmet had disintegrated ages ago, but the armor chips remained embedded in the flesh, clinging together by wires and flesh. It was difficult to tell them apart. "A proud Son of the Dead Angel, skull taken and wings ripped off!" He spread his arms wide in shameless ego. "Tell me, brothers, who here claims such a feat? Who, tell me?"
A barrage of mixed sneers and acclaim met his boast. This was the highest form of art that the hounds of Khorne practiced: the bragging competition. Eima was the first to step forward, bat-winged skull of the murderer judges on his shoulder-plate long since plastered over with gore. He wore his helmet off among company, and the skin of his face below the eyes off at all times, half his head a flayed, bloody skull, locked in a death's-head grin. A tongue far too long licked over bare teeth before he began.
"No brother, I. No great achievement, yours. Golden Legion's skull at the base of the Throne, you ever laid? Knife and teeth, taken with, damned armor, claws broken on?" Eima spat to accentuate his point. It came out as a glob of blood. "Thought so, didn't. Great matter, Martyr's son, hardly."
The jeers and hails rained over the center of the throng of warriors once again, as Kanai shoved Eima back to the sidelines. Once a Word Bearer, he had heard the call for him from the Skull Throne, and now wore hate-red armor in place of his native burgundy, trophy rack adorned with captured helmets- many models, but the heraldry exclusively of the Ultramarines. He spoke.
"Eima, nobody understands that cursed accent of yours. Lose that Underhive jabber and learn Gothic like the rest of us." A shower of abrasive chuckles at this, and a spiteful hiss from Eima.
"Now, I think you're lying. But this- none here can deny this." He shoved a hand outwards, showing off a grim token; a cybernetic eye with scraps of rotten flesh still clinging to it, bloody wires ending in a violent tear.
"I took this bauble from a son of the Tyrant of Olympia. Warband leader, blasphemer of the Gods, all-around insufferable bastard. One swing of the axe!" He swept his hand in a horizontal slash. "Put an end to his blathering about mastery over the Gods, I tell you that!"
There was a roar of approval, and scarcely had the clank of fists battering breastplates- applause, for those who would never be without one hand armed -died down before Jenserik elbowed his way through the crowd, slugging Kanai in the chest, the latter taking the blow and staggering back into the crowd.
Jenserik was a son of the Lord of the Red Sands, and the Nails whirred in his skull with every movement he made. He unhooked from his armor a rusty chain, the hook at the end holding his own trophy: a dented silver helm, sized for an Astartes but with a prow-like, front-swept grille. His voice was like the guttering of a broken motor.
"I took the head of a Silver One, once. One of their Grandmasters." He spoke it offhand, as though bringing up some trifle. "Sorcerer and warrior. The affront of it almost made me lose my focus. I thought to break his skull open instead of take it off- pull that witch's brain out and crush it in my hand. But I restrained myself. Although, kinsmen, I tell you shame- I cut his gun-arm off before I killed him. Not our way, killing a man who can't fight, but for him, as long as he had those damnable powers, I say he could still fight. It was a good day, that day. We lost Mazakr, the old Helbrute, but they lost more. Many more."
The applause rose again in a thunderous exultation, and Jenserik idly strolled back into the ranks. Namus stepped into the ring, already unshouldering the colossal horn he carried chained to his back, but was met instantly with a hail of curses and insults. He looked around, indignant affront plastered over his features, which over the years of service to the Blood God had melted into something part canine and part reptile.
"What? What is my offense, you curs? You didn't even let me speak!"
"We all know what you'd say, Namus," groaned Kanai. "You killed the Swarmlord. Was that it? Was that going to be it, you insufferable prick?"
"Killed," growled Viscera, rolling his eyes, flicking an imagined speck of dust off his immaculate blue-and-white heraldry. "Your Warband all got themselves slaughtered trying to bring the thing down, and you happened to strike the lucky blow. I don't call that a killing."
Eima laughed aloud, jaws clacking together. "No killing! Last man, only. Bauble on your back, dead, should have been given to. Fallen tribute."
"My work adorns the Skull Throne!" Namus snarled, but in his tone was resignation. He was excessively proud of the horn of the Swarmlord that he lugged about, but for all it impressed outsiders, none of the congregation here respected it.
"Doubtless, doubtless," spoke Jenserik, stroking his chin in bemusement. "But any Jakhal can consecrate a skull when fifty other warriors helped clear the way. We wish to see valor, not just results, Namus, we're not Iron Warriors. Back down."
The circle stood empty as Namus, growling spite, returned to the ranks. There was a pregnant silence, only creaking armor and whirring Nails to break it. Then one sound, quiet but steady, was heard: the steady plink-plink of a chainaxe idling. The ranks broke open in a wide berth as the one who bore the weapon stepped through them, the one whose helmet bore the grand bladed horns of the Bloody Thirteenth and whose bare arm showed the scars of ten thousand years of warfare.
All stood in awed expectancy as Khârn stepped into the center of the circle.

Dashboard osmosis late seasons supernatural?
Oh man - so I stopped watching early in S9, and my memory of anything after S5 is pretty hazy (I have rewatched S1-5 once, the latter seasons not at all), so this is a combination of dashboard osmosis, fractured memories of things I may or may not have seen, and whatever November 5th did to my brain.
So, at the end of S8 all the angels fall out of heaven, right? Because Metatron did a Thing. I've no idea what happened with Metatron after that but I'm gonna assume the brothers killed him, because that's generally how they deal with things, even deity-level-powered villains. I don't know if the angels went back after that - I know there was a civil war which might have been before this? Also at some point all the angels die I think, which leaves Castiel as the last angel. Castiel gets depowered at some point. And some other point becomes God. And dies. And I think becomes evil? It feels like they did everything they possibly could with Cas other than let him be a main character.
I think at this point Cain and Abel (maybe?) show up and Dean gets the Mark of Cain on him which makes him evil. Because of this (or perhaps entirely unrelated) he becomes a demon and we get Demon Dean for a bit which honestly sounds quite cool. Presumably is cured in some manner that sets up the arc of the next season.
The brothers find out that they're the heirs to some secret society called the Men of Letters and get a cool new bunker which means they don't have to shoot on different sets each week which makes the show cheaper and totally ruins its original aesthetic.
Kevin and Felicia Day both get killed off because of course they do. But I think Felicia Day (Charlie?) comes back because she's in the last episode. She also at some points goes to Oz and dates Dorothy. Honestly as far as SPN women go it seems like she does pretty well.
Crowley becomes King of Hell at some point. He also stays alive for ages even though he was never half as interesting as the fandom always thought he was.
Lucifer comes back! And presumably then so does Adam? I assume this means they address the whole "we left our other brother in a hell cage and never mentioned it again" weirdness, but I think it's funnier if I don't. Lucifer hangs out with Sam and maybe posseses Cas? (I've heard the word "Casifer" and assume this is what it means).
The Impala becomes a human in one episode, which is apparently actually a good episode. There's also an episode where Dean is a dog and another one where they're in Scooby-Doo. Honestly I would like to watch these.
There's a new kid called Jack that seems to be like a fourth main character and is Cas' son? Unclear whether this is in any way literal or just that they have a parental relationship. He seems to be around a lot but also is kind of dunked on by the narrative and not given enough attention? I dunno, he's new to me so I don't trust him but I assume there's a reason why people (including you I think!) care about him.
And then uhhhh there's cold static for like three seasons and Cas makes a deal with the Empty (which is like angel afterlife/superhell but is also a person that you can make deals with?) in order to save Jack's life, which means if he gets Perfect Happiness he will go to superhell. His perfect happiness is confessing love to Dean and getting ambiguously no-homoed in return. Later is re-homoed in spanish.
Oh, wait, Chuck is back and is explicitly God! And is evil about it because he has a story and wants Dean and Sam to follow his story but they don't? I'm sure this is either a genius metanarrative or a self-cannibalising mess, no in-between. They kill ChuckGod and save the world/themselves/free will.
Then they go to a pie-eating contest and Dean eats too many pies and then gets killed by a vampire who sticks him with a rusty nail. Sam is sad but goes to have a Normal Life with some woman who doesn't even get a face, let alone a name, and dies 50 years later from terrible prosthetics disease. Dean goes to heaven and his car is there because in the supernatural universe, cars go to heaven but gays don't.
...Until Dean then takes the car and goes back in time with it to makes sure his parents hook up or something? Idk what's happening in the prequel, but it sounds nuts.
And Mischa Collins comes out as straight. Love wins.
