as for the musical era, here’s the thing: if alan is present (and as it’s my dream dm show he is) i trust him to unify All This under some kind of cohesive performance. these are but humble suggestions of my fav arrangements. i’d say the underlying theme of my choices is High on the groove scale, but also very much wanting old school peche banging with hammers

a list of media that I was obsessed with (or still am) and I now know it's because I'm nonhuman (with explanations)

the x-men movies and x-men: evolution- general themes of not being normal/not fitting in with normal humans. wolverine, nightcrawler, rogue, beast, mystique- all beastly/shapeshifter characters that I love. I used to watch one specific episode of x-men: evolution over and over again because there's one part where rogue uses her power on Sabretooth and she gets fangs and claws and its super awesome.

wild kratts- got to see and learn about lots of cool animals!! and ofc they have cool suits that let them change into whatever animal they interact with. in one episode Chris's suit malfunctions and he goes kinda creature mode as a Tasmanian devil (my favorite episode, if you know you know)

wolfblood- the intro slaps major ass- so does all the music actually. werewolves going to high school in England (my dream.) I was IN LOVE with Rhydian, I specifically remember packing up all my art stuff dramatically just like he does when he runs away. also a werewolf getting adopted by vegans is so funny to me. lots of late nights staying up watching and imagining myself running through the woods with them.

teen wolf- a classic in the werewolf community. I never finished it, I found it a bit weird at points, but I definitely liked the transformation scenes.

my babysitter's a vampire- vampires are kinda eh to me but there were other mosters in that show, including werewolves <3

H2O: just add water- 🎶🎵CUZ IM NO ORDINARY GIRL🎵🎶 I genially just love this show. I wish I was a magic mermaid. the cove with the moon and the glowing water was so cool to me. aohr narh! cleaoh!

fairy tail- the first anime i ever watched <3 not my favorite but i still love it. magic system is cool, there's monsters and dragons and flying cats. Natsu is my favorite, he has a super special dragon power and at one point i think he kinda turns half-dragon? idk its been like 6 years since i watched it. this was right around the time i started drawing and making my own characters, so i made my first ever self-insert oc- she was a super bad ass half fox girl that wore chains and spikes and was ofc friends with Natsu.

Naruto and Naruto: Shippuden- my favorite anime, I will never not love it. Naruto has a giant fox spirit sealed in his belly and goes crazy feral wild sometimes and its so awesome. foxes are my favorite animal, and yes I did make a self-insert that was friends with Naruto and also had a piece of the fox spirit sealed in her.

blue exorcist- main character rin finds out hes half demon and son of satan (very cool!) he gets pointy ears and fangs and a tail (!!!) hes treated like a beast and something to be feared when his friends find out but they eventually come to accept him :3

the last unicorn- I have this movie on DVD so I frequently watch it. the OST is absolutly unmatched and the animation is beautiful. the unicorn gets turned into a human and is confused about her identity, which is so me fr. the song "now that im a women" was a huge part of some of my artworks in art school, I used it to talk about my gender identity (it also applies to my nonhuman identity obv)

the curse of the were-rabbit- werewolf but cuter cuz its with bunnies. stop motion transformation scenes are really awesome.

howls moving castle- howl save me. save me howl. turn into a big owl beast and please come save me. I love the sound his big talons make on the tile when he comes back from fighting in the war <3

princes mononoke- literally my first post on this blog was my beautiful wolf mother moro. i wish i was her i wish i was the wolf princess i wish she was my mom plz let me get adopted by giant wolves in a magical forest plz. also my favorite Ghibli movie ever.

luca- this one is recent and oh god. this movie got to me so bad and gets to me every time i watch it. its gay AND nonhuman?? i love those lil Italian fish.

wolf walkers- very obvious choice, but i haven't even seen it yet !!!! its not available on any streaming services i have but I've seen enough clips. also the secret of kells and song of the sea are amazing movies by the same studio and i love everything about them. and we got that banger song (we are running with the wolves tonight.)

sweet tooth- such a good show. half animal people lets go! they are literally hunted down and have to go into hiding, and then theres that super cool group of older teens with the cool masks. i would definitely be apart of them (if i wasn't half animal) ((I totally would be)) cant wait for the last season and im also sad its ending.

this is actually a bit of a tricky one for me because i'm a big mystery fan, but i'm not huge on murder mysteries in general. i do love a challenge tho, so i'll see what i can find for you!

the last binding trilogy (freya marske) -> not quite murder mystery but a historical fantasy series ft. some murders and some mysteries. each book focuses on a queer couple and the second one ft. sapphics trying to solve a magical murder on a cruise ship. its mainly a romance series with a great magical mystery overarching plot. 10/10

i kissed shara wheeler (casey mcquiston) -> again a general mystery rather than a murder mystery but it's a sapphic ya romance about a prom queen disappearing after kissing her academic rival and said academic rival's obsession with finding her.

bury the lede (gaby dune) -> graphic novel about an intern at a newspaper stumbling upon a gruesome crime scene. (full disclosure, i dont remember anything about this one... i read it ages ago rip)

sadie (courtney summers) -> ya mystery novel. after her sister's murder, sadie, disappointed by the official investigation, skips town in pursuit of the murderer and justice for her sibling. meanwhile a radio personality overhears sadie's story at a gas station and becomes obsessed with finding her, starting a podcast to track his progress. not sapphic particularly and tw applies. it's a pretty harrowing book, but keeps you on the edge of your seat. apparently the audiobook is amazing.

big bad wolf series (charlie adhara) -> okay it's mlm and it's technically werewolf porn, but the mysteries in this ex-fbi agent partnered with a werewolf to solve werewolf crimes series are actually good and engaging and keep you on your toes. no one was more surprised than me.

the will darling adventures trilogy (kj charles) -> again mlm and more general mysteries than murder mystery specifically, but it's so good and there is a sapphic side pairing later in the series. it's set in the 1920s... will darling is a wwi vet who just inherited his uncle's second hand's bookshop which lands him in a world of trouble when both a gang of criminal and the war office end up on his doorstep looking for the same information. which he's pretty sure he doesn't have.

hither page (cat sebastian) -> sorry this one is mlm too rip. post wwii. a gruesome murder shocks a small community with a sprinkle of romance between the village's doctor and the spy sent undercover to solve the crime.

hi ! i’m new to your blog and I really love your daily updates. how is computer science as a major? i am thinking about applying but im really scared about it being too fast and being dumb compared to everyone else (like how i felt in high school) plus im horrible at math but i want to potentially learn more about computers.

like i enrolled for that free harvard intro to CS50 class online but it was way too difficult for me to understand and I was 2minutes in and they were only talking about binary stuff ugh

Heyy!! Personally for me it’s been very varied in the difficulty levels. Like it’s never too easy, haven’t had a course where I’d just breeze through it with no problems, there’s always something (but that’s part of the fun in coding; being frustrated out of ur mind but when you crack it? That feeling is my favorite one out there). It’s yea has some mathematical thinking, but not outright maths that much (aside from AI that’s just lots of probability math & statistics). But I feel like it’s very different mathematical thinking from ”regular” math.

Also starting a whole new different subject is obviously at first going to be very confusing & difficult bc u have no existing concepts to place the things you’re learning on, the context keeps building up when u keep studying & usually things get clearer as you learn more.

Abt the binary stuff; you don’t rly need it for coding (like it’s good stuff to know obv to have like the basic concept of where everything is based on) unless you code in some assembly language. (Altho u could have some obligatory assembly language courses (we had one and everyone hated it lmao and it’s just one of those courses you’re looking forward to passing and never thinking abt again (at least was for me; some ppl love it)).

Universities are also more flexible if u feel like it’s too fast; there’s no set schedule you have to follow. You can take longer to graduate if u need to and it’s not the end of the world. And a lot of ppl actually do graduate like 0.5-1 year later (or more but I feel like that’s the common one; there’s the outlier spiders georgs of forever students who’ve been there for 8 years). Like I’m graduating in 4 years (hopefully 🤞) instead of the 3 that was the goal time. (<- all of that tho could be different in ur country’s education system, that’s just how it is here, like u can always apply for more time and it’s pretty easy to get)

Tho in the end, it’s hard for me to say. I don’t like the idea of ”being too dumb” for something; just might take some ppl more time/effort for some things than other ppl.

Extremely summarized plot of the story:

Yunjin is in the crowd watching yn preform correct? Also i can imagine that yn would start feeling shit after finding out yunjin still has the shirt and cds.

Do you have advice for dealing with sexual shame as a girl/woman?

I wasn't brought up religious, but I've always been very spiritual and therefore romantic, at the same time I would like to experiment but whenever I have been around people I am attracted to, I have ignored my feelings and I just always run away from these situations, because I feel like it's so obvious and I have no privacy - as if everyone will know.

It's like, I know that I would like to be more free with my sexuality, i.e. have relationships with people that I like, without defining them too much or wanting to be serious from the start (so, have things happen naturally...); at the same time, I have this idea that it has to be true love from the beginning, maybe due to my vulnerability as I am not experienced. (I'm 24 and my life got turned upside down 2 years ago(once every year just for fun).).

I feel like if I have been led to be a virgin for so long, maybe it's for a reason, maybe I should wait for love, but I also think my view of things is immature - because of my lack of experience - which leads to shame, because how can I be spontaneous with someone if I am a virgin, especially at 24? I think this is the root of my issues because of the sexual frustration. And I keep hiding it and I act more mature than I feel, because I feel I have to, plus I have enough social experience I think to be able to do that(I am a flirt - up until a certain point). I have always been very private so I guess my family just think I do my own thing. So I feel like a liar also. (I guess I am literally confessing due to my very strong moral compass)

Hey don't apologize about it! I'm glad you felt free to open up. You mentioned I seem at ease with my sexuality, and it's true, but I'm a virgin too! I feel like instead of battling with the To be or Not to Be of it all,you should welcome a comfortable duality in your life. I adore eroticism and I embrace it because I think it's inherent to human nature, and I think people need to welcome it in their lives, though not necessarily through intercourse. Before anything, I'd advice you to get in touch with yourself, with your body. Dancing is amazing for that, it really makes you feel and connect with each particle of your being. Massaging yourself will do that trick as well (and since I have super dry skin, I've become a pro at that, applying cream 24/7). Ressignifying eroticism is a big one too. I guess the things I find more intimate are sometimes really far from what could lead to the canonical lovemaking, but my conception of things ressignifies consumption, and maybe you should try to do the same and understand what, according to your philosophies and your approach of life, constitutes the ultimate communion between beings. What does sex represent to you? The only way to understand that, is allowing yourself to be aroused by the touch of life. And I know you said you feel guilt regarding themes of sexuality, but you should approach this with the same innocence of a child coming in contact with the world and its sensations for the first time, free yourself from innuendos and maliciousness... Easier said than done I know, but if you really are finding it difficult to separate sexuality from promiscuousness or any negative feelings, I'd advice you to dive into the world of art. Go on a Georgia O'Keefe deep dive and see how much of sex is nature, and vice versa (I'm speaking as a huge fan of GK... her work was lterally what changed my perspective on those things when I was around thirteen years old ahaha).

After all of that work is done, you will surely be closer to knowing what sex really is meant to represent on your journey. If you give so much significance to it, my intuition would tell me to advise you to wait for a strong emotion to move you before doing it out of convenience or peer pressure. (also I'm going to assume you reached out to me because you want to start a kpop writing blog and not smth else, so all these tips are obv specific to writing blogs. I also don't know how experienced u are w Tumblr so I might say some obvious things,, sorry if you already know most of these things!!)

anyway tumblr is actually really intuitive and after about two days I honestly think you'll get it (probably even within a day tbh). here are some quick steps I feel like make sense in my mind:

find a url (if you're starting a kpop writing blog,, most people seem to include the name/a reference to their bias but in my case i kinda just went w my name and played around w it until I liked it 😭 you can also search for "url ideas" in tumblr if you're having trouble!!) keep in mind you can literally change it at any point in time so don't worry about choosing the -perfect- one

set up your blog! most of the time, people have a navigation post (the pinned post where everything is linked so readers can navigate ur blog easily), a masterlist (a post that shows everything you've ever written), a wip list (a post that lists all your works in progress, so fics you're currently writing and want to publish in the near future). additionally, people have a post about themselves (like an about me section with blog rules and stuff. this is my old old one). personally, i have a carrd right now (this is mine here) and you'll find other users have one or the other!

set up your navigation post: hyperlink honestly everyone's different (btw don't worry about taking these tips too seriously bc honestly u should do whatever you want on your blog — it's yours after all!!) but I think most people include their name, pronouns, age (sometimes), timezone (sometimes) and hyperlinks to their masterlist + wip list.

how to hyperlink im sure you've done it before for school, but it's really easy! here's a demonstration — this link will send you to my navi, and this link will send you to one of my fics! to do it, you just need to copy the link of whatever post you're trying to hyperlink (three dots in the top right of the post -> "copy link"), typesomething, double click onto the word you're trying to link it to, tap the 🔗 button, and copy the link into that! how to make ur navi neat/pretty personally, I used to just search for moodboards (on tumblr) and pick 3 photos that I really liked (obviously give credit to whoever made the moodboard!). what I have now is just something that I designed but you can have one or the other, it doesn't really matter! other tips I think I'd suggest is to keep it as simple as possible; you can embellish it later but make sure it's easy to read and people can see all the links! I really like searching for "symbols" on Tumblr, and then there are cute lil symbols u can add to your post :) or just use emojis! or dashes! this might be a little ahead, but I have a tutorial on gradient text if you really care, but maybe focus on the base first :D just as an example, my moot @.hazyyu has a really pretty navi!

apply the same principles to your masterlist + wip list + about me just search for symbols, add whatever images you think look pretty, search for "line breaks" on Tumblr and there are pictures of links you can use to divide stuff up! making a carrd is easy but time-consuming (just search on YouTube "carrd tutorial")

there are other caveats to a writing blog, but those were just the basics! here are some other things I thought I could mention:

a permanent taglist is a list of people you tag every single time you publish a story/update it (for the purpose of them being notified every time you post) — sometimes people will ask u to "add me to your permanent taglist!" which just means tag them every time you post a story. personally, I have a google form for anyone that wants to be on the permanent taglist, but I didn't do that initially — I used to just wait until people sent in an ask asking to be on it and then I'd have a separate post with everyone who did. for example, this was my old one! doesn't matter whichever approach you do ^^

people also organise their blog via the hashtags I do this too! it's so much easier that way :)) for example, every time I get an ask, I tag it with "#ask" (umm a lot of people are much more creative w their tags but personally icb lmaoo — here's an example of my friend who used a different tag and it's really pretty!). if you want help with organising your blog w tags, here's an explanation I wrote a while back!

if you want help promoting your work, you should consider joining a few networks! these are basically big big blogs that reblog all your work so more people can see ur stuff ^^ here are some of the ones I'm a part of: kflixnet, enhanet, k-labels!

you'll meet other users along the way and call them your moots; most of the time this just means you interact w them a lot via asks/dms. personally I'm not really active and I kinda find it hard to keep track of a lot of moots so I stick to myself and interact w anyone that comes my way!! but bae u can do whatever u want!! go find blogs of people that seem rlly cool and send an ask and just see where it goes; just don't badger people, be nice and I think you'll pick up on sm things naturally!!!

6. excessive ooc

Honestly... for the MOOOST part, I don't care about "excessive ooc". even though I tend to worry that I post too much ooc LOL. yes, ppl can have "personal blogs" to post ooc stuff to but like. I just understand that behind the muses, there is a real person with real feelings who might wanna share lil details of their lives. Especially when they have more followers on their rp blogs who are more likely to listen & respond than their personal blog does.

There are a couple scenarios where I will draw the line. That being if there is just no in character content. Like they've been logging on every day for weeks just to make several ooc posts and nothing more. Then I may unfollow just because, at that point, I question if I'll ever be able to actually write with them because they're not giving any ic stuff lol. Or when like they just SPAM the dash with reblogs that have NOTHING to do with their muses. I'm not saying musings or aesthetics posts - because those still pertain to the muse. I'm saying when they reblog stuff from other fandoms that have zilch to do with their blog. For example, it'd be like if I were to start reblogging lots of Death Note, lots of Supernatural, and lots of Bluey despite the fact that my blog is Tekken lol. Now that I find annoying bc I'm wondering really WHY can't you use a personal for that? Of course, ppl are always free to do what they want with their blogs - but that's one thing I don't get.

7. DNIs in rules

I'm like what you were saying, I will follow them if it's somebody I know I'm not gonna end up writing with anyone due to different fandoms or having never followed each other. Or if like, they have concrete proof that this person is to be avoided. But liiiiike... when ppl just drop a username in a DNI and has no other available information... I just can't help but wonder if that person did anything or if it was a personal spat between the two muns. Especially because I've been a personal "victim" of ppl telling their mutuals to not interact with me, that I should just delete, and saying just horrible untrue garbage about me. All because I wrote with sb they didn't like. (Though they were also infamous about pretending to be somebody's friend, then dropping them and suddenly acting like they're the Worst Person Ever with no actual evidence)

I understand if muns wanna set boundaries even if they simply don't like the other person, or they had a personal drift or whatever. But like... I'm gonna be honest, there are def ppl in the RPC that I don't care to see on my dashboard. But I don't think I'll ever have a DNI. I just use X-Kit, X-Kit Rewritten, and the Tumblr block feature to avoid them. Which yes, sometimes they might still "slip through" but like... if I just see them once in a blue moon, it's not gonna matter much to me. And this even applied to those who bullied me as I mentioned above.

So yeah, I do try to follow DNIs if it's one of my mutual, but I do often question the validity (sorry but with the past, I can't help but to) and well... I also have to apologize if I end up writing with sb in a "DNI" because I swear it feels like more and more ppl are having DNI lists now and it's like... when you're following nearly 200 people, it's probs hard to remember who's in a DNI and who's not, y'know? But like I also said, usually those in DNI lists tend to be in different fandoms than I am, anyway.

8. reblog karma

I don't follow it. I mean, of course, I'll always reblog posts from the source & send people in one (WHEN it's applicable. Obvs I'm not gonna send a smut / ship meme to somebody who my muse has no relation with) But like... people rarely follow reblog karma so I just see little point in enforcing it lol. Like even IF somebody does reblog from the source, you can always tell they reblogged it from you without sending you one. And honestly? I don't get wtf people even do that for when it comes to munday asks or headcanon asks. Like why? There is literally zero excuse for it. Shy? Send it through anon. It doesn't fit your character? It doesn't have to because it's just asking my character / or the mun a question. Like literally. That shit actually annoys me but again. What can you do? I'm not gonna demand ppl ... but I still never understand it.

And I understand some ppl say it clogs up the activity if it's reblogged straight from them. But honestly... I've just never had that problem before lmao. Like I've had personal blogs reblog memes I've made and those memes can get up to 20+ notes, and it still never bothers me. (Especially when a lotta times in Modern Tumblr Age, notifs for a single post tends to become one block)

how i do my drawing style (obv not every thing is for everyone and this is how i personally do it art are not rules but exploration)

i draw with my palm resting on the tablet, i cant do super precise movements with my hands so i use thick lineart and a bunch of stabilizer for that. if i need long lines i can just lift my hands. i use a 2016 samsung tablet after i switched from the horrible sliperry drawing tablet

currently i use a "pen" brush with opacity AND size jitter so it can sketch and line when i want. ON GREATER BLENDING MODE, this gives a marker sort of look (lines wont overlap)

canvas is 1000x1000 because my tablet is slow and also pixely crunchhhh

my sketches are shapes and dynamics first then anatomy second, in my process i find that treating the sketch as a "newgrounds funky shape artstyle" kind of thing makes things fall in place much smoother too so thats a bonus, and also obv i like it that way lol, its much looser and less stressful, eyeball is my guide. when done my way it looks "imprecise".

I grabbed my shapes/dynamics principles from some of what sinix does and the anatomy/gesture is like 2 bites of knowledge from anatomy guides (the ones who helped me with the style most were the ones who focused in dynamics) furry anatomy was by looking at art and photos, but 80% was just me messing around and finding out

generally i do my sketches in one layer because i softly erase instead of making a new layer (too much work and i cant do really precise strokes) this makes some soft sketchy lines a bit visible, i make a outline if i think the color is drowning the lineart

use curve adjustment to make soft strokes less visible and stronger strokes more visible, i do this because i really like how for me it creates more space for color/shading to fit in

either use 'enclose and fill' tool from krita or just make blocks of color by hands, i make a loot of layers in this process because i like to finetune the colors to my liking and to shade cleanly

currently the way i pick colors isnt too crazy, mostly its based on color theory ideas and my own taste as the judge, if i feel experimental i will try to make some "weird/wrong" color decisions to make it a bit more fun.

as for the color theory what i apply from there is mostly relations with hue saturation and value and my own personal understanding on how they interact together (quick example, for me increasing the saturation of a color "darkens" it a bit)

after this i paint/shade, i try to make it look fun, i use a basic round brush with opacity for more control

after this i make collages backgrounds on my computer WITH ALSO KRITA, my sources of images vary (wikimedia commons, tumblr blogs, pinterest, flickr)

the way i get this specific look is to mess around with some photo manipulation (curves adjustment blending modes), i like krita because it gives you a bajillion filters and blending modes

my favorite ones: "gradient map", "color to alpha (removes background)", "cross channel adjustment" "levels", "hsv adjustment", "curve adjustment" BLENDING MODES: "hard mix (photoshop)", all of modulo blending modes, "overlay", "hard overlay", "lighten", "darken", "dissolve"

mostly what i do on images is bump saturation on hsv adjustment (krita legacy mode on hs vadjustment makes colors a bit more distorted), cut some greens on levels, compress blues and reds, compress saturation, decrease the lightness range and adjust hue a bit if needed, mess with noise and layers. mostly i keep in mind to make the lightness range different from the subject so it doesnt melt together,

if you want more distortion compres with levels and use posterize

glaze on my windows virtual machine (i use linux lol) on high on low quality (this is to protect from theft but also gives a funky filter)

Not that this is like, a hot new take or anything, but I can imagine that they both might be going through a bit of a crisis. Like their careers have finally died down but like, what do they do. They haven't done much else but be YouTube personalities (which is more than just YouTube, obv) for like, nearly 15 years. They are probably afraid to venture into new territory, because at this point that will likely mean risking either their brand or their bank accounts (like how Dan had to risk money to do the tour / offer to put up his own money for Dinok). Not that that's a good excuse, but I can understand being afraid and Phil just trying to hang on to his usual content for the both of them (as he also figures out work/life balance). Dan only did DD for the tour and it definitely felt kinda forced. Just doing their old stuff but with their older/out-of-closet selves isn't going to be successful in a way it's safe, for now.

As someone with a lot of the same kind of mental health struggles Dan has, I imagine he might be beyond burnt out and doesn't really want the attention anymore because of the work it requires. And even though it's like, okay it's been months since the tour okay what's next... idk what we'll really get out of him for a while (maybe a few years even?) besides random contract work like the channel 4 thing. Like, projection time, but I just got through grad school with extreme ADHD/executive dysfunction/procrastination etc, and was so burnt out by the end idk how I did it. And I'm like, oh well it's been about 6 months I should probably have a job in my field by now (which I'm probably insane for thinking that anyways because the job market is in so wild). But like, I've been kinda burnt out since 2016 (when I was 16 and a junior in high school, at the end of my og dnp phase) and all I can muster the mental energy to do now is the same part-time / retail work I've been doing the past few years. Which like, I'm barely getting by and I do ultimately feel disappointed that I'm not trying harder to put my fancy new degree to work because I'm barely applying for anything. But I just can't get myself together enough to do that right now. I imagine Dan might be going through something similar, like, he could be doing something creative but he probably is just tired and wants to just live life without any expectations and go on vacations and rely on Phil to be the content creator. He's probably aware that it's not ideal. But he also seems done with compromising any creative vision either because he doesn't want to do sponsorships or anything that isn't a deeply personal piece of art. And he probably doesn't have many deep ideas now that WAD is done and Dinok is stalled and there isn't much he seems to want to do commentary on (because if he just sucked it up he would actually be a pretty good commentary YouTuber lol).

I think they also have a lot more stuff to work through mental health wise too before they are ever really able to not be cryptic about their relationship, since when ex-phannies or random people who remember them see their tiktoks or whatever it's what they all ask about. Like to some degree I don't know if they ever wanted to be out and famous but it got to the point where they couldn't keep denying it either. I'm so glad they came out because it's clearly so much healthier, but beyond the trauma of being closeted that they had to overcome they probably now have trauma from years and years of people being weird towards them about their relationship and it's like... now they have get through that in order to take the next step. do they really want to go through all that just to help open themselves up to a new era of content? Idk.

i'm almost crying. i hate us so much. this is exactly why the phandom needs meet ups irl or "bubbles" where we could have conversations. because trying to answer THAT without forgetting something is hard, and also i can't imagine how hard it is to write these mini-essays and get bullshit in response.

i appreciate it a lot. and i basically agree with your message. i see how it can be true. and i know that in case of burnout, Dan can let himself step back. the problem i have with him disappearing and coming back after 2018 is that he thinks that the audience will wait for him and accept everything he puts out with the same passion, participation, and amount of money as when he and Phil were making content without long pauses. but book sales, merch sales, tour ticket sales, views and god knows what else that we can't see show that we aren't willing to wait. and it started in 2019 i guess, so you would think that by 2022 Dan would understand what went wrong and just book smaller venues (or make a smaller stage for it to not be a problem). i'm using wad just as an example. you said Dan could not want attention anymore. but he repeatedly says that he loves attention. and it's not only words, you can see it irl. ofc after tours there is a period of time to rest. but before that, there was a clusterfuck of something that was barely content while the merch releases were consistent. either because it was pre-made or because Dan was still living in a rose-colored world thinking that we would buy stuff without content. i'm not sure what i'm arguing here anymore riuehdfsidxkl apologies, i guess it's related to Dan wanting to fuck off. and he CAN. i don't care, 2019 taught me a lesson. (doesn't mean i can't bitch about it <3)

anyway. i understand your struggles with work and degree. basically, i was in the same position after graduating, and now it's even more difficult but i get it. choosing to work part-time, in retail and similar "easy" jobs because you can't deal with the weight of expectations that come with a degree, that's... yeah. an adult reality that no one told us about. i wish you the best, and i hope everything works out well. whatever you decide to do, remember you don't have to use your degree if you don't want to or just don't feel like you can at this moment. you know, getting a fancy "serious" job is such a commitment, bruhh. and you can always walk out of retail :)

SQUIP Pincer -

Bug finds the videos in the crashed starship, but also something else. A SQUIP, something from the robot war, and the instructions to apply it. (I’m removing the Mountain Dew aspect bc how would Bug find Moutain Dew)

He ingests it, because he thinks it’ll help him become a starship ranger, and boom, Pincer appears.

Pincer DOESN’T sing Kick It Up a Notch (yet) and instead instructs Bug how to do the mind fusion thing himself.

Pincer transfers to Bug’s new body for plot connivence, and tells Bug February is on the planet and she can help him.

The Plot™️ happens.

The Bug and Pincer battle is different (obv). It involves Pincer trying to use Bug’s body to kill February because Pincer considers her to be distracting to the ultimate goal.

Pincer sings a mashup of Kick it Up a Notch and The Pitiful Children. This part isn’t that important but those are my two favorite songs in each musical so it’s happening.

Bug traps himself in the airlock to stop himself from killing February, the confession happens.

Bug’s human body dying effectively destroys Pincer.

The plot continues like normal.

J.D Junior.

First off, Bug and Junior and completely platonic, if barely friends at all. Junior sees Bug as a way to get weed, and Bug sees Junior as a way to become (more of) a starship ranger

Act one progresses like normal. Being a starship ranger = being a Heather.

Junior and Bug interact a lot more than they do in canon. Like February is the only person in the starship crew he trusts more than Junior.

Instead of Freeze Your Brain being “haha slushees instead of drugs” it’s actually about weed. Bug smokes some too. Because yeah why not ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

Bug and February don’t piece together that Junior “is a dick” at the crashed starship.

Junior kills Pincer, sparring Bug’s human form (for now)

Junior seems awfully happy about killing Pincer. He goes out to “check if there’s anything we’re forgetting”

Junior goes on bug murder rampage.

Bug tries to stop Junior (still in human form)

Junior shoots Bug, sending Bug back into his Bug body. Junior thinks this kills him.

The plot continues until the end.

HOW LARGE DOES THE AGE GAP HAVE TO BE TO MAKE IT UNCOMFORTABLE? for a lot of the b.nha student muses that i have and even tr characters, i mean.. a couple years? like one to two years apart, max? i mean they are younger characters and in some cases teens, there's no way i am comfy having them date someone way older. as for the more adult muses: fairy tail, etc. --- i mean, not too much older also? the same concept applies. the most i'd say is about a 5 year difference but no more than 7ish or so.

HOW FAR DO STEAMY MOMENTS HAVE TO GO BEFORE THEY ARE CONSIDERED NSFW? when you know, you know. it's pretty obvious. a lot of the characters i write tend to be younger and for that i mean, nsfw is pretty non existent. but in the rare chance that it is written here it's with a mun i trust and am comfortable with wholeheartedly. the same can be said for the muses: the ship would have to be pretty well developed: chemistry, built on trust, etc.

ARE YOU SELECTIVE WHEN SHIPPING? yes and no? i mean, if you'd like to ship our muses and our interested in doing so, please let me know! however, i also have to keep the muse in mind / and categorize things in my brain to not make things complicated. i tend to work off a mains system so as to not have 10 ships with the same character. so, as an example: ochako has a very established ship with @ofdetonation's bakugou, so i'd be very selective in shipping her with another. i hope that makes sense? but in all honestly, i am very open to lots of things!
