Hmmmm.... maybe some plates next time.....
#em's adventures in the ceramic bowl mines#going to wait and see if we get any oxidation kiln or mid-range firings going in the next couple of weeks for me to sneak things into#thing about the kilns here is that our basic stoneware is QUITE iron-rich and since a great deal of the focus is on the big highfire kiln#it's hard to do the kind of delicate precise carving and color work that I like to do on little plates in that!#and since I'm not a ceramics student at present it's not exactly as if I can say Let's Do An Oxidation Firing!
