#theyre kinda tricky to make (ive heard)

these pics are from after i already did this a couple times so yours is gonna look a bit different. Ok so first undo these^^^^ four screws. take out the little half circle with teeth. it holds in a lot of the fur thats attached to an elastic band. theoretically you could use it to hold it back inplace after putting it back together but ive never actually gotten it to go in with the fur. you dont need to undo this one:

i recommend keeping it inplace tbh. then youre gonna get to the six clips. theyre extremely hard to get out. i ended up cutting all of them along the bottom. it sucks. ive seen people say you can push them out with a screwdriver but i never got that to work. hopefully you can do it better. this is my first custom. ive also heard people say you can cut a thread or two and then theyre easier to get out but i didnt want to cut any threads so i cut the clips instead.

then pull the fur up as high as itll go and undo all six housing screws. the top two are really far up almost ontop of their head. then undo the two clips on the side:

then you can just lift the back housing cover completely off. this next picture already has one ear removed. ignore that sorry. unscrew the two screws with washers on the pink plastic. these are holding the ears inplace.

using a flathead screwdriver you should be able to leverage out one side of the ear posts. after that you can just pull them out fairly easily. do this on both sides.

^^^then you should be able to flip the front housing cover up just enough to push out the clips holding the front fur on. then remove the front housing and faceplate. this picture already has the faceplate removed. its held in by three screws. i took it off to paint it.then you want to unplug the ears from their little square connector dudes and remove them from the fur. try not to pull too hard on the wires. theres a small hole they go through the fur thats lined with plastic. its kinda tricky but doable. dont be afraid of this part just be careful of the wires.

if you want to paint the eyes youre gonna have to scrape or sand off the current design and the white parts. its too slick to paint directly. it helps to prop them up with something while painting because theyre on a spring for when they open/close. i used the cover for my scrapey tool. dont forget to sand the lids if you want to paint them too! i forgot and my paint was kinda thick and now they dont always close all the way. most of all be careful not to get any of the dust in the internals.

this is the fun part now you can paint whatever you like!! clear spray paint makes a good sealant ive found.

the rest of this post is gonna be things to be mindful of when putting them back together that i wish i had thought of before i learned it the hard way. if you have to really force anything its probably not right. this long part in the back is gonna get in the way!! took me forever to figure it out. lay it flat in your hand as you put the housing on and make sure it lines up right.

before trying to get the back housing back on make sure the silver top button is lined up correctly! it should fit in the two groves on the very top of their head. when screwing the housing toegther BE CAREFUL OF THE EAR WIRES. BE CAREFUL OF THE EAR WIRES!! i caught mine and accidentily shredded most of them the first time i put them back togeher and ended up having to resolder a bunch of it together and it was doable but a pain so just be careful when you put the holes into their notches that theres no wires in the way. the wires are right next to the pegs/holes that get screwed together. the four wires in the back are for the ears:

i think everything else has already been documented better than i could do. i also carved a bit off of the ear poles to help but i did too much on one end and now that side doesnt move so thats probably not the best idea! i also highly recommend reading furbinthewoods' post on doing this i wish i had been able to find it when i was doing mine. ive reblogged it and put it under the "furby teardown" tag.

hmmm depends on why the darling is frightened tbh are they always afraid or is this started after cerelos took them the first time? i do imagine he'd be pretty upset and even offended, though he won't outwardly show his feelings. he'd probably start ordering the servants to disappear whenever the darling is in sight, be invisible, to further isolate them, to force them either to face their loneliness and/or accept cerelos as their emperor and husband. since humans are in nature social, they'd naturally long for some form of company and possibly some skin to skin contact.

in short, since the coecrced sex doesn't seem to do enough, cerelos would've likely infict some psychological damages on his darling to force them to accept him. he wouldn't be…physically abusive, no, but he will emotionally and mentally cripple his darling without relying on cruel words and uses some amount of gaslighting.

Well... its obvs been a while since i updated huh. reading back on some of those .. some of its nice ig and some of it is quite articulate but looking back on some of it with my perspective now, idk its sad but also a little cringe lol. but thats the point of a diary to keep it cringe and truthful to how im feeling in the moment. well anyway

its 2023 woooo im in my second year of uni and things are pretty okay i guess. im still a litlte lonely dont get me wrong but im sure things will get better. um. ive got an essay due at midnight on the 16th (technically today) and im like a third through it? but the first 1/3 is the easiest part cos its just explaining the concepts. anyway im behind on a lot of uni work. for no reason. at all. like theres no good reason behind it other than i need medicated i guess. maybe i really should get meds im an adult now so im hoping they can. its genuinely really affecting my uni performance i cant get out of bed most days during the winter cos its so so cold. why is the world so so cold. my feet are also so so cold. can you tell im procrastinating :P unis still lonely but also i barely go anyway so what would i know anyway. i got some hobbies i guess. anime has revived my want for a tumblr blog so in november i made a new blog for anime ToT. its fun tho i really do enjoy it its so fun and silly and i can be as insane as i want to over fictional characters. better than twitter by a mile cos well yeah. it has also reignited my want to make art, cos then i can post it and other people who are also insane about the same characters can enjoy it too. even if its kinda bad idgaf. the whole 'oh shit two cakes' meme constantly runs through my head.

EO are objects that are also highly visible objects that do escape our notice. you're thinking how can an object, a physical object, that is so obviously in front of us, escape our notice??? well you're not alone in thinking philosophy just makes up things along with justifications of said things just for shits and giggles, and calls it a day, cos that's exactly what i thought when i heard this the first time. and genuinely so much of philosophy is just postulating and theorising about this thing and that thing but its done with such earnestness and sincerity that i get endeared by these stupid dead guys. Toxic hustle culture is over, im not saying to be lazy. Thats never what im saying but theres a balance to this work flow and not everyone achieves and work the same way. I work as much as i possibly can and run myself to the ground and for katoeproductions everyone knows i kill myself for this shit. i give everyone insane turn around times with the HIGHEST level of quality. Some videographers and photographers out here cant match the quality of my 24 hour turn around vids even if theyre given 3 weeks - 3 months i grind for this shit. Im capable of this is due to the fact that i was on that hustle culture wave for years drilling my muslce memory and eventually realizing how fucking counterproductive it is because i begin to hate everything that i do. This is why i say that it really is time to stop this toxic narrative that America has built.. INSANE Amounts of work does not = Best results. Im tired of it because my body is kinda wired for it at this point and i have to force myself to stop this is why im not editing rn or working because once im burnt tf out my quality isnt KP anymore. What i hate is that people dont care about how you uniquely work. they just want productivity and if you cant meet their standards in their way than youre useless and replacable. I HATE AMERICAS TOXIC WORK CULTURE and education system. Most people just accept this shit going from one job to another and never finding out that they dont fit in or what works best for them because thats not their natural way of achieving their best consistency and workflow. Im gonna prove this shit and this is now my mission to show everyone that If you want people at their best performance than you gotta learn how their unique mind works and not only that but how much stress they can naturally handle and build their endurance over time while placing them in the best position possible that makes them shine the brightest. The problem is some people are using this as an excuse not to work and employers cant seem to tell the difference. And there's a huge difference in someone thats lazy and someone thats aware. People like myself are completely aware of how much we can handle and we are just simply warning the world and telling everyone " hey this is my limit "" if i go past this than youre gonna see a huge drop in performance". And KP is wayyy up and down, some months are insane and some months i have alot more time to focus on other things but its deffinently tricky. my biggest sign is when im too tired to even go dance and do things i love to do when i have time off and ill rather just lay here instead. but as i work with my production team i study them, i care about them, we ALL check up on each other, we make sure that everyone feels heard and understood Helping them to gain what they need. And always reminding them that they are not alone and truly supporting their mental health and well being because this work culture doesn't do that. Ive watched everyone in my original dance crew and my current production team achieve levels of success that would not be possible without true acceptance and kindness. We find true individuality because of the healthy understanding and support to each person individual uniqueness and workflow. So now this is everyhing KP is about. Mental health awareness, true balance and perfect performance while still being happy. Because the true goal is happiness, peace and content. Money and life is no good if you dont even have the cognitive function to enjoy life itself.
