YES!! I HAVE!! i watched it a while ago and have been OBSESSED ever since (i was gonna watch it on cinema but couldn't. i ended up eating sushi in a nice restaurant and even got free dessert, so it wasn't so bad lol)

IT IS SUCH A GOOD MOVIE. we always get the megop bff backstory, but we never get to actually see them interact as friends. their relationship was so pure and innocent. they joked around and trusted each other and got into trouble

many of the funny moments wouldn't be possible without their friendship. they're actually allowed to act like they know each other, without there being some grand scheme in the background!! "i'd turn into a shovel and hit you", "you said you'd never mention that", "If we survive this, i'm going to kill you", etc etc. those are just,,, so irl teenage friendship coded

my main criticism is how fast paced the movie was. i would've liked to see more of megatron's downfall. and i think it would've been better to make the orion "the reason i won't let my friend kill this dictator is because i don't want to lose him" thingy (that's how i read it at least) more obvious to avoid the amount of discourse that came from it lol

i loved to see the little references! tfp's ost, the bots in the background, subtle references to older media, etc etc etc etc!!!!!

Pavitr Prabhakar -or Pavi, as you often call him- has been your bff since childhood.

Stuck at the hip, running around doing mischeif and pleading your parents to allow just 5 more minutes playtime.. Oh, those were the days! A chuckle slips your lips when you remember that even as a child, he was proud of his hair.

You remember vividly, back when you guys first met. Pavitr's hair was wild and curly and all over the place, bouncing with his every step. It was physically untamable for him. He was fussing with it and you, having watched him for quite a while, offered to help him keep it in place with a messy pigtail and putting all your hairclips on him. It didn't help much but little Pavitr had been very grateful, a big smile pulled across his face.

That was in kindergarten.

Growing up, you became the closest of friends -and the most chaotic. There was no one in school who hadn't heard of the infamous micheif-makers, the prankster pair. Prank wars 24/7 and very concerning to the school board.  It was even more hectic when they tried to put you guys in different sections to discipline you. You threw a tantrum, he spilled food everywhere as all the other kids joined in; it was sort of a mutiny you guys had started. The headmistress then decided it was best for everyone to not separate you two and let you guys be in the same class thereon on the condition that there will be no more horsing around.

Things finally went back to normal and all was going well.. until your parents got a transfer.

You remember that day, when your parents said you were going to move. Initially, you had been over the moon, not knowing that it meant leaving Pavitr for good. God, you were so naive. But when it finally  dawned on you that this is where your friendship will possibly end, you ran to his house and cried to him. Pavitr shared your sentiment; he loved as much as you loved him and separating you guys just was wrong.

Whenever there's something scary at night or if he hears weird sounds that frighten him, Pavitr used to hide under the bed until it goes away. He suggested you do the same. So there you both were, crouching  under his tiny bed and staying there sharing stories and whatever 11 year olds talk about.

Uncle Bhim did find you soon enough and called your worried parents. A lot of kicking and screaming and yelling 'I don't wanna goooooooo!' while your parents dragged your naughty butt to the new home, practically ripping your hand away from Pav's.

It had been a bit too dramatic, now that you think about it, though a little funny too.

Pav had been crying for a week after you left, just like you, and every night for a month, Uncle Bhim would let him call you and speak. Then school began, and you drifted apart.

You stepped out of the airport and raised a finger, calling for a taxi.

It's been 10 years now. A decade since you and Pavi last saw each other in person. Sure, you stay in touch via video calls and social media but nothing beats physical connection.

You've graduated and found a new internship at your dream company that requires you to stay in Mumbattan. What else do you need? To say you were happy would be an understatement.

Dropping your things at your own apartment, you take the cab straight to Maya auntie's as he's still staying here to take care of her. (Hope she still likes pranks!)

The elderly woman is the first to greet you, full of joy, her aged eyes shining with tears of sentiment. "Oh, mera beta!"

You let her wrap you in her embrace and hug you close. Maya auntie shares your tears, giving a moment of respectful silence to Uncle Bhim. It's hard to digest his death when you loved him like your own father.

After pleasantries are exchanged, you're about to ask about him when doubt creeps upon you. Sure, you've talked a lot but.. Does he still feel the same way about you, or is it the version of you in his head? Does he still value your friendship like before? Or were you just a passing cloud? A chapter in his book? Just a childhood memory and nothing more?

But most importantly, has he found someone else more worthy of his time?

Maya auntie, always as perceptive as ever, sees the hesitation in your eyes and encourages you to give him a surprise, assuring you that, of course, nothing is more important to him than your friendship.

With renewed confidence, you walk into Pavitr's room. He isn't there but you hear the water running. Assuming he's taking a bath, you take your time to look around the room.

The sky blue wall is a bit faded but it brings you happy memories. Same big old window from which you used to watch the city. Books, books and more books, some kind of gadget and a- is that spandex!? A Halloween costume, perhaps.

A framed picture is sitting on his desk, of your childhood selves holding hands, your front teeth missing, standing before Pavitr's apartment. It was the first time you had come over. Aww!

The cot is certainly larger than last time and you hide a chuckle when you think if you both can fit under this one.

Actually.... didn't Maya aunty talk about surprise?

Giggling like the mischievous child still inside you, you crawl under the bed. What you expected is to not fit under it, what you didn't expect is a red and blue hand-painted shoe box filled with little trinkets.

The lid is open, so you're not actually intruding on his privacy.. (Right?)

The box is filled with shiny stuff and upon inspecting one, you realise these are the same gifts that you gave Pavitr a decade ago. He.. he still cherishes them? Your heart swells.

A glittery red paper heart catches your eye but you don't remember giving it to him. Sloppy cursive runs in gold glitter:

"I threw my plans all away So that I could hear you say You love me, yes, you want me The sight of you lit me up Could not believe my luck Now I know where I need to be Home is where you are

I miss you meri jaan 💔 "

It takes a moment before you realise it's from him. He'd written it to you before you moved but never actually came around to giving it.

Oh, oh God, Pavitr loves you!

Tears of joy gislten in your eyes. You did have a similar thought once,  but dismissed as soon as it came. You would never believe if someone told you Pav had had feelings for you. And seemingly, still does.

A greeting card falls out, a dried rose attached to it. It was written on last Valentines day:

"A little birdie told me you wished for a Knight in shining armour. Now that I'm here, what are your other two wishes, meri jaan? ;P"

Wet thuds sound and you look up -wincing from the bump to your head- to see Pavitr come out of the bathroom, towel-drying his curly hair and dripping water everywhere.

"Looking swag as always, Pav!", he says, making finger guns to his reflection, flaunting his amazing hair as he runs a hand through his damp curls. And, wow, it's grown longer!

The moment you try to scare him from under the bed, he stiffens and turns around cautiously. Grabbing a cricket bat, he curls his other hand into a mudra. (Is he going to spiritualize you to the death??)

"Who is it? Whoever you are, better come out or else-!"

"Or else, you'll crouch under the bed?"

He drops the cricket bat, frozen in pleasant shock.

You're struck speechless too, lost in his eyes. Wow, Pavitr has.. grown. He's so very handsome, much more than you remember. You gasp softly, mesmerized by his beauty.

"O-Oh my god, N/N?!"

He engulfs you in an embrace, hugging to tight to his chest. His wet cheek rests cool against your warm skin, so close you can smell his shampoo. "Ah, I can't believe it! Meri jaan, is it really you? H-how-?"

"A little birdie told me you wished for a Knight in shining armour. Now that I'm here, what are your other two wishes.. meri jaan?"

It takes him less than a second to realise you'd read his card. "Oh God, you read that!?" He blushes terribly, pressing his face into the crook of your neck as he stumbles over his words. It's cute to see him flustered.

The laughter dies but your smile stays.

"Y/n", his breath is hot in your ear, "may I.."

Your heart beat quickens, stuttering with every stretching moment. Every breath you take is growing heavy.

"Yes..?"

Your noses touch. He's close, so close..

Suddenly, he twirls you around and begins to sing:

"The sight of you lit me up Could not believe my luck Now I know where I need to be Home is where you are!"

Once you recover, you try to hit him in the chest for playing you like that, but he's quicker. You giggle, laughter erupting from your throat as he hugs you from behind, pecking your cheek like he used to do all those years ago as you sing along.

It may be unspoken, but it exists. He's never forgotten, nor have you.

"Now I know where I need to be Home is where you are!"

Your book sounds so cool!!!

AAAAAA, THANK YOU SO MUCH! It's called The Tale of the Evil Sorcerer/O Conto do Feiticeiro Maligno and it's free to read over Wattpad, but there isn't an english translation and I prob won't do that any time soon, as I'm going to rewrite it someday.

It's about an "evil" sorcerer who kidnapped a princess by accident, only to fall in love at first sight with the knight who came to save her. Things become worse when the princess figures out the sorcerer was never evil at all, but he's so bad at communication that he just let the rumors spread because it was easier than dealing with them, so she decides to strike a deal: She'll help him try to talk with the knight, who also happens to be her BFF, and in turn he will teach her how to be a sorcerer. And no, the knight has no idea what's going on, and he's also been indocrinated his whole life to beliefe that magic = SUPER BAD.

I love these three idiots so much. The sorcerer is called Meia-Noite (Midnight in english), princess is Valentyna, and the knight is Edgar. They share one (1) braincell and are all doomed by the narrative, except the story has a happy ending for everyone. The only villain who's not sympathetic is a transphobe named Joanne Atropa and she's english-coded. This is not a reference to an IRL transphobe/neonazi author, uh-uh, never! Infodump under the cut:

Meia-Noite is a gay disaster who lives in a fortress he found at age 13 in the middle of a jungle. Goth, anxious, and is actually a healer and not a shadow manipulator like the rumors say. He helps people if they get lost and need someone to treat their injuries because his duty as a healer is capable of overtaking his fear of strangers. He's tall with long dark hair but if the wind hits him a bit too hard he goes flying with it, the guy is a STICK.

Edgar is a bi knight who has trained his entire life to protect the girl he sees as a sister. He's autistic, albino and is REALLY serious about his duties as a knight (he's 17) to the point he forgot about everything else. Outside the harsh exterior he's actually a huge sweetie who loves photography and is super curious about magic, but feels super guilty and bad about it.

Valentyna is a lesbian princess who's a prodigy at almost everything she does, but her parents refuse to teach her light magic and she's desperate to help the people of her kingdom. This girl punched Meia the SECOND she was able to do so during the kidnapping, she may not know what she's doing but somehow she is winning the game. She cares so much about everyone around her! Also adopted an albino snake and named it Açúcar (Sugar) 15 seconds after finding her in the palace's gardens.

Olhos de Fogo (Fire Eyes), a HUGE dumbass who's also a sorcerer. Pan king, ranked #1 arsonist over three different kingdoms, also ranked most handsome character by the readers (somehow!!!!! People love to thirst over him!) and has a "very gender" title given by me. Doomed by the narrative except unlike the trio he just accepts his fate because he's a huge loser. If this will end well for him or not it's something everyone has yet to see. My girlfriend has this to say about him:

Angélica, Meia's adopted sister, can see the future sometimes and is also a fashion enthusiasts. Use the people in the "fortress" she lives in as test subjects for her clothes, girlie is always tired and a bit terrified of the future ahead but trying her BEST to stay positive. And failing. I want to give her a special treatment in the rewrite because I think she deserves it.

Comandante (Commander), has this name because they're the commander of the non-binary nation. Accidentally misheard Meia-Noite and thought they were supposed to KIDNAP Valentyna instead of politely taking her over for a conversation about why her parents are incompetent at their jobs, now must be the parent friend to everyone. I love them so much, they're an icon to me.

Elisabeth, a princess from a rival kingdom who may or may not be Valentyna's crush. A bit more on the gothic side, had a pretty unusual childhood and her tweenhood was pretty hard. Tries her best to look eloquent and always knowing what to do, but really, REALLY wants to be a bit more loose. She and Tyna will have an enemies/rivals to lovers arc in the rewrite bc why not.

IT/THAT THING/ANYTHING/THE ???????????. A creature that's always watching. Also may be the guy that gave Meia half of his trauma.

The NARRADORA, AKA Narrator, the girl who's telling this story. It's her first big assignment and she LOOOVES saying her opinions about what is going on, much to her professor/adopted father's dismay.

THE NARRADOR, AKA Narrator but masc, is Narradora's older brother and a lot more kept-together than her, except it's all a facade for an equally chaotic creature. Loves gossip.

THE PROTAGONISTA, AKA Protagonist, who's ALSO another narrator. Super insecure because he's still training to be a storyteller, but he has his boyfriend (Narrador) and best friend (Narradora) to help.

THE LOCUTOR, who only appears to narrate like three times max. Older brother figure of the group, a huge cryptid who seems to be the coolest thing ever until you discover he stole an one-night-stand's head for funsies and is yet to give it back.

THE HOMEM VELHO, AKA Old Man, the professor of the group. Never makes a proper apparition but I want to mention him because he's a tired dad, someone PLEASE give him a break.

im very curious what is the bella x carlisle fic

omg bless you for asking me about this because i never get to talk about this fic with anyone!!! okay. i have exactly two long fics i reread religiously once a year, and this is one of them. i will never get enough of it.

the fic is called take this heart. the idea is that 'vampire mates' are a more serious business in this universe, with vampires knowing instantly that they're mated when they see each other the first time (but the instinct usually doesn't appear when one person is still human...). so yeah, carlisle and bella are mates (and esme and edward, which is very cute). it also gives bella a darker past (tw: abuse, read the tags for sure). i think the only thing that would stop a person from reading this is the writer's portrayal of charlie, but if you stick it out, charlie's character arc is so so good. i do think you kinda have to take him as a completely au version (canon charlie is a great dad, and he's really not in this fic), but otherwise:

featuring: an incredibly nuanced portrayal of all the twilight characters. i'm serious. jasper moonlights as a therapist but also his traumatic past is well evident in how he clashes with and protects the cullens. edward is incredible, a great friend to bella, in a way that i think romance kinda ruins the possibility of in canon. also, they do some fake dating and it's very entertaining. jacob is hilarious and complex and throw any love triangle bs out because he is there to be bella's BFF. rosalie is frustrating and justified and vengeful and UGH you just have to read it. alice, esme, and emmett play smaller roles, but they come in clutch in key moments. the quileutes and volturi are around and just better than canon in every way. (chelsea is especially very well explained/portrayed)

bella is flawed, difficult to get close to, genuinely funny, quirky without being annoying which is so hard to write. her journey to happiness after so much tragedy is honestly inspiring, and some of the advice that she gets from the people around her (esp jasper) is seriously applicable irl. she loves carlisle in this way that too big for her human soul and it's achingly perfect.

and carlisle... i can't even tell you. he's not perfect, he can be angry and needy while still being that paradoxical vampire doctor, paragon of goodness guy. he has an incredibly complex relationship with god that i feel like is that one canon scene where he talks to bella in new moon x1000. he loves bella in this beautiful, selfish way that is just really really enjoyable to read.

for muses i write against? for seph, i prefer characters with some sort of mean streak/bitchiness/hard edge to them. she doesn't do super well with outwardly soft and gentle characters — her muse avoids them and i tend to lose insp fast, even if i love the character ooc.

in a general sense, i'm drawn to characters who are also angsty in some way, but more than that, i'm drawn to conflict. if a dynamic isn't rough in some way, if there's no conflict between them, then it's less my vibe personally! no shade to those who like harmonious/fluffy character relationships of course — i just. yk. my brain likes to cause problems.

PLOT / MEMES : BOTH. plotting is very very helpful for me because i'm a chatterbox and tend to enjoy dynamics where we can also yell about em ooc. also having spicy plot points and conflicts to work towards makes it easier for me to write multiple threads haha <3 but memes are amazing ways to start interacting, as long as i have some sort of direction going in. so both!

B-15's Backstory: Incoherent Thoughts

Because I'm still not over this, and not likely to be over this any time soon. I've been sending my friend near constant stream-of-consciousness texts about this all day. Now you get to deal with it. Headcanons, theories, reactions, etc. Spoilers for Loki episode 2x05 and probably Loki: Agent of Asgard.

I'm literally just typing up my texts about B-15/Verity, so they really are incoherent/stream-of-consciousness. I'm not kidding when I say I've been thinking about her all day. I'm aware this is almost certainly just an easter egg, but my brain does not work that way when I get a hint of something I love.

She found him before Mobius did. She's been with him all along!!!

Besides Sylvie he loses her last in episode five. ;.; She finds him first in 1x01, and she's the last agent he loses in 2x05.

If Tom Hiddleston does not say "Verity" at some point in episode six I won't know what to do with myself. Then again if he does, I'm going to have to pause the episode to cry for twenty minutes.

I wrote this TWO WEEKS AGO. A part of me knew.

I complained about Loki not being on my birthday month for my calendar but IT'S VERITY I'M OKAY WITH IT. [The thing draped over her is a palm from Palm Sunday. It's the only place in my apartment it's able to hang.]

Oh my god if B-15 is not outright confirmed to be able to detect lies in the next episode I'm gonna ignore everything the writers try to tell me and I'm going to do a whole rewatch explicitly to catalog all of her interactions and assess if I can conclude that she has this power in the MCU. She already only needed Sylvie to tell her to her face that Sylvie didn't create C-20's memories and she believed her.

Personally I want that scene from the mid-season trailer where Loki's like "I'm a fast learner" and everyone else just takes him at his word, but then I want B-15 to be like '...This boi's acting sus.' And everyone else gets to work, and she pulls him aside and is like, "What are you up to?" And he's like, "Nothing." And she's like, "I know you're lying." Basically if someone (Loki) says something in the episode that I know as a viewer is a lie and they do a fairly decent job of acting convincing (none of this over-the-top terrible lying bullshit to really drive home to the audience that they're lying), and B-15 says the words "I know you're lying," I'm sold. I won't rewatch everything to figure it out. I'll be convinced she can detect lies.

No but Sylvie and B-15 becoming ride or die bffs, no romance, like Loki and Verity are in the comics would give me LIFE.

I've come up with another way they can imply B-15 can detect lies next episode. If at some point Loki just starts telling his friends about their lives on the timeline instead of doing the memory magic, and he turns to OB and goes, "You... are a brilliant writer." And B-15 is in the frame, and she doesn't say anything, either in that moment or as an aside to Loki, but she just twitches a little at the lie. I'll lose my fucking mind. If that and the one season one interaction with Sylvie is all we get as implicative confirmation, I'll fucking take it. My girl can detect lies. Sold. Done.

[Not really a headcanon or anything, but just to show you I'm a fool irl too] Also I came in, [my dad] said, "Hi, what's up?" And I said, "B-15 is Verity Willis." And then I grinned like a lunatic even though he has no clue who Verity is and I know he has no clue who Verity is.

We currently do not have any evidence that B-15 is not ace, so Verity is still 100% ace in the MCU, too.

theres this woman who like hangs around the master ballet academy filming them and helping out sometimes with candy supplies for backstage (her name is eva nys i think!) (irl btw) and i was thinking… what if the New York Academy had one of their own? what if she was meddas foster daughter? what if her name was spot conlon?

she hangs out with the dancers and she and kath are super besties. she does like challenges and shit where she buys them pointe shoes off amazon and like wish/temu and has them try them and race is out for three days bc he injured his toes on them 😭

so for both of them it sorta started out as a friendship of convenience, they were both there, kath thought it was strange that spot didn't dance but they bonded over other things (like meddas very occasional, very strict streak) and then one day they decided they should film a video. they took it Very seriously, spot dug out meddas old camcorder, and kathy dressed up in the clothes she deemed suitable for a tour guide (idk what those would be so ideas pls) and they filmed kath giving a tour of all the important places and things in the studio, like the dressing room mirrors with bulbs all around them (so shiny so tempting to 10year old spot and kath) (idk if them being 10 is in keeping with existing ballet au lore?), the dark quiet of an empty backstage with the lights off- Katherine holding a torch underneath her chin and making ghost noises, and the mezzanine where some props are stored (they weren't supposed to be up there....)

but it quickly became a rock solid friendship, if you were looking for kath, all you had to do was find spot and vice versa

medda is furious when she finds out why race can't dance for 3 days but honestly it was mostly races fault for shoving his feet into a pointe shoe a size too small and not breaking them in much and then doing a massive twirly leap

spot makes the videos synced to songs much like Eva's irl

also if she ever does something like "today I learn to do a double pirouette" or smthn like that, its always kath who's teaching her. They're inseparable and insufferable and I love them to pieces

unpopular opinion but i don't like when "bffs" get paired in bl especially not if they've been friends for a long time. while it does help A LOT with the chemistry and skinship, if they happen to blow up as a pairing, it puts a lot of pressure on their friendship with every of their friendly interactions getting scrutinized and i feel that not every friendship makes it out unscathed. like actors already have to give up their personal life when they act in bl so it's sad if they have to lose a best friend too. and you can say if they are really best friends, their friendship won't get affected but bl fans are so ruthless that sometimes the friendships don't last after a few years. for actors that are strangers/acquaintances and get paired, if they become friends along the way or later decide to part ways, I wouldn't care but to see long-time friendships crumble is heartbreaking, especially if i witnessed the friendships before they became pairings. i may not necessarily care about the actors but i do care about their friendships because i personally think that it's rare to be able to have someone you can call a best friend in such a competitive industry.

We don't know what's going on behind the scenes and how much pressure the industry actually puts on them and their friendships but if I look at most of the bff-pairs like ForceBook, FirstKhao or now PerthChimon... it seems to be working out well for them. Especially FB I'm fascinated by lol. idk if it's true that they're childhood friends but if so then,,, wow lmao. they have all my respect bc like,,, how. If I were to put myself in their shoes and play a couple with someone I've been friends with for a long time (even just someone I knew beforehand) I would d-word of embarrassment lmao so hats off to them for pulling it off.

but anyway again, I can only tell by what they choose to show us but for these 3 pairs in particular, I'm not sensing anything toxic between them. they seem very chill about it. First loses his cool from time to time lmao and I think he feels pressured sometimes, but other than that I think they're doing fine. Also like you said it's undeniable that their on-screen chemistry benefits from their natural chemistry so if it all works out and they're not bothered by anything then I don't see a problem. I'm only speaking for the gmmtv pairs though because they're the ones I'm the most familiar with. I have no idea about other pairs where it might be different.

I also wanna mention ohmnanon for a second because with them it's a bit different imo. I don't know what's going on with them at the moment and if their falling out has something to do with what you mentioned or with ohm's scandals or whatever but for me, they're not working as well as the others mentioned. they're individually skilled actors but playing a couple didn't have the same effect. for me they were unable to transform their friendship into an on-screen romance and idk how else to put it but you could feel the bro vibes coming through lmao. which might also be the script's fault. but this is just my impression.

It's always sad to see a pair disband, no matter if long-time friends or not and we've seen it happen countless times. the saddest part for me is that there's no disclosure whatsoever. they just stop talking one day and we never get an explanation. but alright.

despite all I do like seeing irl friends act together, no matter if in a romantic way or not and I hope they continue to do so as long as it doesn't have a negative effect on their personal lives.

The issue with these shows like tsip and tvd where the love triangle involves brothers is that the writers tend to try and priorise the brother relationship which is just unrealistic and impossible since if brothers were truly as close as the writers wanted them to be the love triangle wouldn’t happen in the first place, but there’s always a selfish bro who pursues the other guys girl in the first place (Damon, jeremiah) and it pisses me off that the brother bond always comes out “on top” by the end of the series in general. It’s bs!!! They should make a decision on where they want their writing to focus on, the brothers or the relationship, they cannot do both!

agreed!! it's interesting because even though tsitp and mlwtwb are being made now, the original source material is from 2009-14, which is very much when that sort of drama was a thing. and like this is why i am both a stefan girlie always and a conrad girlie forever!! i also think that as important as familial relationships are (some of my favorite on-screen relationships are brothers/male bffs), it should be more of an acceptable thing to stop keeping in contact with toxic people just because they're blood related to you too

with the brothers in these shows though a huge thing is that they're not that close which is why the love triangle is portrayed as idk less problematic than irl?? but like still it's so messy 😂
