#MY MANAGER EMAILED LIKE 2 HOURS B4 I HAD TO GO IN #she finally changed my schedule (1 day) to the night shift today #(i emailed her to be safe just kinda casually reaffirming im going in at the new time & then asking if any other shifts wanted 2 be changed #bcs that sounds great to me whstever option she goes with #she ignored that question & i get a new email from her asking if i completed a training. lets called it DOC #basically a long time ago she said 'i will send you DOC instructions soon' .. a few days pass and i get three 50 paged packets #one is called NAVIGATING DOC #im like oh ok cool that must be the DOC training shes talking abt bcs the other 2 packets were abt various trainings #NAH BRUH. APPARENTLY THE DAY IM SUPPOSED TO GO IN. SHE MESSAGES ME SOME ENTIRELY ALIEN PROGRAM #and is like 'u completed this right? cus if u didnt u cant come in today.'#LIKE?? MAYBE I WOULDA IF U SENT THE SHIT #but it's also like. dam i shouldve emailed prompting her to send what she said she would n clarifying BUT FUCK #WHY DO I GOTTA?? oh nooooo that's the worst, I'm so sorry :( have you checked other libraries? there's worldcat which will show you physical libraries near you that have it, and there are a few libraries that let you get a card even if you're not from nearby. there's a thread here on that (very us-centric, though, idk where you are) and there are even some libraries that will give an 'online services card' to people from anywhere in the world!

most of them don't do that, they'll allow anyone from their state or sometimes their country. but it's still cool.

#ok gotta cut this post off before it goes off even further on this tangent #but I'm a big proponent of having multiple library cards if you can get them #......that said I've never used a library app #I assume those mean you have access to every book available on that app?#that would make trawling for new cards redundant #if so I love that for you #but sorry that it means the book's just not available :/#anyway I hope you do get your hands on the book soon enough #and I hope you enjoy it!

So I wanted to apply to the second level of studies at the university where I did my bachelors degree after a year long break and it was lowkey my only plan for the forseeable future (2 more years of studying until I have to start thinking again about what in the actual fuck I want to be doing with my life). And today I learn that despite me passing the final exam one year ago with 100% points and them saying on their website that results from last year will be taken into account during this year's recruitation for the second level... it turns out that no, you have to pass the exam THIS year, and those start in about two weeks from now. I emailed them about this because they were giving me some contradicting information to put it mildly and they tell me that ooops, sorry about that, that thing on our website was outdated. So, you're saying that you have chosen war.

#like there's no way in hell i'm just going to accept this #my mum suggested writing. an appeal or something to someone. idk who but i'll figure it out #and tell them about how well #maybe you should accept my results #considering that the 70+ questions i spent hours preparing for last year are one to one the exact same as this year #like it's literally the same exact thing i passed already #and until now i had every reason to believe that they'd accept it #there's no way i'm going to do this all over again just because they changed my mind at last second #and it's this course specifically and naybe one other one where they don't accept older results #every other one seems to be going at least one year back #the only reason i'm not devastated by this is that i'm too busy being pissed off about it #and believing that i can still change this and use enough arguments to make them accept my results #because they have no reason not to other than. well. we just said so without informing you in advance #so that's how my summer vacation is going so far. haha fun #but ok as long as i think about my interests and focus on doing art and such and how that brings me some joy #i can forget about the absurdity of mamaging life for a minute #long story short - my one plan i had is lowkey ruined and i'm sonehow not panickibg yet even though i'm probably gonna soon enough #*should be 'changed THEIR mind' in that earlier tag #goosepost

in hindsight i realize i may not have been clear about minecraft last night. let me be clear (<- obama voice): I Have It

#mine #everything people said online is true. the deck runs modded minecraft and does it well #i capped the fps at 70 just cause but when i wasnt busy having fun and managed to look at the corner to check it #it was pretty consistently in 50s and 60s and the game never really felt bumpy or laggy or unpleasant #one thing i don't understand...i downloaded maybe 60 mods but ingame on the start screen it says 143?!?!?!?#anyway im having so much fun there are so many biomes and funny colored animals its so exciting #and everything looks so PRETTYYYYYY !!!!!#i love you steam deck thank you for bringing video games back into my life...#i hope one of these days i can join a server or something too it would be nice to do multiplayer as well #but my singleplayer world was really fun so far too :3 i spawned into an area with exclusively warm biomes which is kind of annoying #because ive always liked temperate and cold biomes more but its ok there was like an oasis biome or sometrhing??!!!#im making a cute little adobe house next to this big mountain :3 theres a savanna and jungle nearby #the mountains go SO HIGH!!!!!! and i found this creepy water tunnel inside another mountain that had magma in the walls it was awesome #i havent played in so long i cant always tell what came from a mod and what came from vanilla #but i dont care cause im having so much fun yipppeeeeee :3 #theres horses near my house too so im going to wrangle them as soon as i can...i have a very exploratory playstyle in mc #im basically a cartographer cause the only thing i ever want to do is run around with a map in my hand until the map is filled out #then i go home and slap it on the wall with 7 million other maps and make a ginormous picture of the world #it makes me happy :) so that is my plan

#my 200+ hours playtime slay #ok but the fight with margaret was so crazy 😭 after failing like 4 times i looked what personas id be needing and after spending so much #money on the compedium and fusing personas i finally got my babygirl yoshitsune where would i be without you.....#and THEN i made it my mission to kill the reaper to get weapons for the besties and the best armor i could give them #even after that i first did the battle in very easy i was that desperate to win but after winning without margaret not even using #the megidolaon attack that fucks you over i did another save to win fr in normal mode and i did it ❤ i couldnt have lived with myself #otherwise 🙏#anyways i already said this before but i loved it sm. also funnily enough the only persona game i have finished even though it shouldnt be #long until i finish p5 considering i only gotta send shidos calling card #(never finished p3 because of oct 4th lol. but im planning on going past it too)#(also as an aside i loooooved how it was a sequel to p3 soooo much a lot more obvious after the margaret fight and with all the tanaka #mentions. like you can play at least the last 3 persona games separately but theres no connection like this with 5 so i wuv the details)#and i liked it a lot more the second time around too when i already loved it on my first playthrough #i dont think ill go back to it soon but i still gotta tackle the other games in the persona series so. it wont be over anytime soon 👍👍👍👍#my post
