I'm gonna say it, when I watched Fionna and Cake with a friend, Simon and Betty made me think of Halmanpoole/Discoverycule so hard that I remember going multiple times in the vc "oh no... You're right this is so them :c"

#thinking about them rn so hard...#they make me so emo I doubt ill ever br able to explain it properly #do u think frank ever felt guilt for halmans sacrifice past 3001? probably; maybe; he did hold to them until last min #not only halman tbh; i wonder if when dim died frank had a 'why was i given another chance in life when he will never get one' moment #that one as well... mostly bc kts never explored how he felt about what happened #at least with halman we do get to see his reaction and such #with dim its just 'oh yeah indra and frank speedrun getting married having kids and having a divorce and oh yeah dim is dead. anyway'#AND ABOUT SIMON AND BETTY #i was watching some animatics with some of their lines #and i remembered some of the parts; like how simon stood by and let her get sacrificed and such reminded me of halmanpoole
