The transition in Paul's attitude from 66' to 67' freaks me out a little and I think should be talked about more. In 66' he's full on ready for independence and spouting off in magazines like ''I'm my own person, I want to grow up, do my own thing, maybe only work with the Beatles when we feel the need to'' etc. Contrast that to 67' and he's full-blown May Queen from Midsommar "Leaving? Why would you say that?? I'm staying forever and ever and ever with the Beatles, financially handcuffing ourselves to each other just feels good y'know, so what if I'm psychically fused with John whats the big deal?" enmeshed. Sure he's got Jane but even she leaves partially because Paul's first and foremost part of the four-headed monster.
Like Paul, what happened??? Did they lock you in a room clockwork orange style with a shit ton of LSD and the Beatles cartoon? Did John sneak into your room at night and start playing a menacing arrangement of the Beach Boys at a subliminal frequency? Did you get spooked by independence and taxes and run back to the loving embrace of the emotional polycule? It frankly makes the LSD peer pressure thing come across as vaguely sinister/j.
The Beatles don't get enough credit for being the weird microcosm of in-group/out-group pack mentality behaviour that those little freaks were. Seriously, it should be studied.

Apparently much-needed reminder that reposting artists' art (by saving the images or screenshotting them and reuploading them yourself) on other platforms without the artists' expressed permission and without credit is theft and an insult to their passion and craft. You are profiting (in views, in attention, in feedback) from someone else's work and ideas, who do not get that feedback for sharing their creation.

i had a dream last night that i organized a tumblr meetup and we all agreed to go to a local bar together. so i go to the bar but it was a really busy night and i didn't want to ask every stranger "are u here for tumblr reasons" bc that's embarrassing and i'm shy. so i just got a drink and felt very awkward & hoped someone would approach me. tried to look inviting and like i was from tumblr but not like i was "from tumblr". when i left some girl stopped me to ask if i was there for the meetup but i was too shy and asked what's tumblr?
in the dream i went home to make a post about how nobody showed up to the tumblr meetup but my entire dash was people saying they'd gone to the bar but were too fucking shy to admit to being on tumblr so we'd all just had a drink and gone home
#i have very vivid usually very logical dreams due to my ptsd#i'm skipping the part where i was really nervous about what to wear bc i didn't want to wear the wrong thing#also the drinks were all pink & with umbrellas . also after this in the dream there was this guy#who had been there in a chicken costume and was ''funny'' but then he was always outside my window#down the street . in the store. etc.#just standing there . moving like he was drowning. he kept signing that he was choking#and i was too scared to help while his feathers .... floating and bloated in the dry air#.... while he begged me with his weird puffy wings. silently. choking and choking and choking. his toes barely touching down#and meanwhile im like sorry dude i gotta jump on tumblr to talk about this bar experience#dream me: okay the drowning on dry land chicken guy is fine. but i draw the line at social anxiety

Zelda having a secret room for when she "needs to concentrate" carries with it the implication that it's Link that makes it difficult to concentrate, since they pretty clearly lived together between BOTW and TOTK. #this is a vague post about some hydrangeas I saw and also about our neighbor’s blackberry bush just going ham#blackberries all over the hostas in the grass in the wood chips no sign of stopping#thinking about those trees that experience superfruiting events en masse on purpose to such numbers#that it just satiates all predators / threats to the seeds being sewn. so much that it is literally impossible for none to be successful#we watched a video about it in a bio lecture once in college and I cannot remember which species it was#but it was so much that the squirrel population had like. circular boom/bust years where way too many squirrels would be born#but the trees wouldn’t do another superfruit for years. which then created squirrel bust years#creatures just experiencing stuff I guess
