Hazbin Hotel Roleswap Au but my Take on it (Part One)

Lilith

Still disappears for seven years but guess what she’s back!~ but she forgot the milk smh.

Where did she go? Who knows but it wasn’t Heaven this time!

Lilith and Lucifer were officially divorced before she left for seven years with Lucifer being the one to actually initiate the divorce.

To deal with her divorce, she writes songs like a lot of songs. Some are good, most of them are umm well there something for sure. She also travels which she says is the reason she went missing for seven years. It’s partially true…

She tells a lot of partial truths.

She doesn’t talk much to Lucifer these days, but Charlie can at least reach her in the au. She’s not winning any awards for Hell’s greatest ex-wife, but she is still slaying as a mom- well kind of.

She’s involved in the Hazbin Hotel supporting her daughter. She has some hopes that sinners can be redeemed but has no interest in being redeemed herself even if she could be.

While she supports Charlie, she does it remotely, never actually stepping foot onto the property until Lucifer does due to not wanting to be outdone by her ex. They end up fighting for parent superiority like Alastor and Lucifer did in Hell’s Greatest Dad but this time it’s Hell’s Greatest Parent (spoiler alert neither of them win).

Lilith is more of a goofball than canon Lilith is but just like canon Lucifer she has her serious moments.

She supports Chaggie before it’s even official just thought y’all should know.

Lucifer

Meet your much more serious king of Hell.

He takes his position seriously and is more hands-on in Hell’s politics. Goes to almost all overlord meetings to stay in the know. Calls his own often enough.

He still can’t stand Alastor in this au but is more lowkey about his distaste for the radio demon.

He’s better at keeping his cool and more mischievous. Honestly, think of how everyone theorized Lucifer would be from what we saw of him in the pilot, and you have this au’s Lucifer.

He initiates his and Lilith’s divorce due to their conflicting views towards sinners. Lucifer grew to hate sinners while Lilith could never bring herself to even grow indifferent towards the sinner’s plight. She stood up for sinners and questioned his authority more than he cared for. She also reminded him too much of his past and the way he used to be.

Lucifer is a much more bitter man and was Charlie’s main caregiver when she was growing up.

However, he has a rather distant relationship with her despite spending more time with her than Lilith did. Lilith told Charlie stories of the past much to Lucifer’s displeasure as he did his best to hide the past from her.

Still has a rubber duck collection but it’s way less extensive and he hasn’t made a rubber duck since before Charlie was born. Sometimes he even forgets they exist so they’re just collecting dust.

Fun fact: He was the one to actually propose exterminations. :) Everyone thinks it was Heaven’s idea including Charlie and Lilith.

What a hypocrite! Because he still comes to ‘help’ the hotel. Lowkey tries to sabotage it and doesn’t care for Vaggie. He thinks she’s a bad influence on Charlie. Vaggie isn’t his biggest fan either.

Charlie

Still the princess of Hell, but now she’s more jaded yayyy! /sar

Charlie doesn’t really believe in sinners being redeemed, but publicly supports Vaggie’s hotel because she dislikes the fact that anybody from heaven has any sway over her kingdom, and deep down still cares for her people despite her father’s teachings.

Charlie’s relationship with Lucifer is much more strained in this au than in canon. She still loves her dad, but they never had a close relationship. Lucifer treats her more like his protege than his actual daughter.

Charlie's relationship with Lilith is still strained as well, but Lilith is more open to being affectionate with Charlie and reaching out to just talk. Charlie appreciates it but also still holds a grudge over Lilith leaving her for seven years with little to no contact

Charlie is more feared by Hell’s citizens and methodically silences most of the opposition towards the hotel. She isn’t above forcing people to come to the hotel, but out of respect for Vaggie she doesn’t coerce sinners into becoming guest.

Much more involved in Hell’s politics like her father.

A lot of sinners owe her a favor, but she has yet to ever actually own a sinner’s soul.

Vaggie

Still an ex-exorcist but in this au Charlie already knows of her past.

Charlie still ‘saves’ Vaggie in this au, taking on a more direct role as she’s responsible for scaring off Lute and Adam before they can kill Vaggie. Vaggie still loses her eye and wings though.

However, Charlie doesn’t do this out of the kindness of her own heart, but rather because Charlie sees potential in having an ex-exorcist owe her a favor.

In exchange for Charlie saving and sheltering her in her castle for the rest of the extermination, Vaggie tells her all about Heaven and angels. As well as reluctantly agrees to owning Charlie a favor of her choosing which Vaggie is swindled into being contractually obligated to follow through on when the time comes, or she’ll lose her soul.

Once the extermination is officially over Charlie politely kicks Vaggie out of her castle, cryptically mentioning she’ll be watching her.

Vaggie doesn’t see Charlie again until after she starts planning on starting the Happy Hotel to redeem sinners. Charlie originally appears to put a stop to Vaggie’s plans, but Charlie ends up helping her get the project off the ground.

Charlie and Vaggie aren’t officially dating in this au until sometime after the main story plot takes off, but they are good friends with Vaggie having a crush on Charlie.

However, when the time comes for their relationship to take a more romantic turn it’s Charlie who initiates it by annulling their contract to show Vaggie she was serious about wanting to court her and be equals.

Their romance is way more of a slow burn in this. With Charlie being very serious in wanting to do right by Vaggie and doing the whole courting gifts and wooing thing.

Vaggie’s personality in this au is more of what you would expect from a typical angel. She’s more trusting and less prone to resorting to violence despite her ex-exorcist past.

She also wasn’t that great of an exorcist when she still was one and was actually well known among the ranks for being one of the worst in all of history, which is why unlike the original au Adam was going to just kill her.

Angel Dust

In this au, Angel Dust takes the place of Valentino as the overlord of lust.

However, he’s a standalone overlord who doesn’t form an official alliance like the Valentino did with the rest of Vees in the original world.

He’s besties with Vox similar to how Rosie and Alastor are in canon.

Him and Cherri Bomb are still friends and Huskerdust will still happen because I said so.

Angel Dust's father was the first official sinner he killed as an arising overlord.

Angel Dust owns his brother, Arackniss’ soul and has him as one of his main porn directors since he knows sexual content, especially gay sexual content, makes his brother highly uncomfortable.

Later on, he gives Arackniss an option to continue to have his soul owned by him or Arackniss can join the hotel and actually try to be redeemed, and if he's successful Angel will let him go.

He doesn’t own Valentino’s soul. Although he and Valentino still have history as Valentino had sought to once take him down and become the overlord of lust himself, but ultimately fails and falls to Vox, who now owns his soul.

Vox did offer Valentino’s soul to Angel Dust, but he declined, creeped out by the man to even want his soul. Although Angel Dust does take pleasure whenever he gets to witness Vox putting Val into his place.

Angel Dust is a better boss than Valentino thank God. He cares for all the souls he owns but isn’t afraid to treat them with a firm hand when needed.

Has a bit of a sadistic streak to him to sinners who he doesn’t own. A master manipulator, who can command sinner’s forcefully by summoning translucent strings which anchor into their limbs to manipulate their bodies to do with as he pleases. Takes a lot out of him so he usually depends more on the fact his venom can make people more open to suggestion.

Still can summon guns because of his mafia roots hehe

He still has Fat Nuggets! Valentino gave him Fat Nuggets when he was trying to get on Angel’s good side so he could betray him later on. It didn’t work out for him like I already mentioned but it did bring Fat Nuggets to Angel.

When Joel was 17, he kissed a boy for the first time.

His name was Kenny Farmington, and they were both a little drunk on cheap beer and a nice Texas night and the special high that comes from being not quite a man and not quite a boy, stuck in that in-between time when it felt like anything was possible. Joel had a truck and a part-time job at Regis Construction and his whole life spread out before him like an open road.

It was a nice enough kiss. But when Joel opened his eyes after their lips parted and saw fear rather than lust in his friend’s eyes, he knew it ended there. Everyone knew Kenny’s dad was a raging homophobe who would “whoop his ass” if he thought his son might be “one of them dirty fuckin’ faggots”.

Joel wasn’t convinced his own father wouldn’t have had something to say about it had he known.

And, oh well. Joel liked girls, too. He liked them enough to bring Eileen Folsom home and make out with her in the basement rec room at her parents’ house until his cock was weeping and his balls were blue. He liked them well enough to get to third base with Cindy Sherwood in the back of his truck. He liked girls plenty.

It was the eighties, anyway. AIDS was spreading like wildfire, and small-town Texas was hardly the place to go looking for action if you weren’t straight as a goddamn arrow.

Four years later, Joel liked one particular girl enough to knock her up, and then he didn’t have much time to consider whether he’d want to kiss another boy, because he was going to be a father.

And then there was Sarah. And a divorce. And his parents died. And Tommy went off to war and came back, and there was overtime and working doubles to keep the roof over their heads and the payment on the truck up, and who the fuck had time to think about boys or girls or anyone in between.

And then there was cordyceps. And his daughter, his baby girl, bleeding out in his arms.

And then Joel didn’t spend much time thinking about what he liked at all. He kept going for the ones who needed him without a thought spared for himself.

And then came Ellie.

Ellie, who patched up his heart and turned his life upside down and made him care about something other than brute survival again. Tore down his walls and broke him open and somehow left him whole.

Whole, and…wanting.

Which is why, forty years after Kenny Farmington, he doesn’t feel bad about imagining another man’s face, or hands, or lips on his body when he strokes himself in the shower. He doesn’t feel ashamed when he gets off to the thought of another man’s mouth on his cock. It’s not the first time he’s been attracted to a man, and it won’t be the last.

No, he feels bad because that man is his daughter’s fucking therapist. That man is someone she needs to trust, someone she raves about over dinner, someone who is, in her words, “so fucking cool”.

And his duty, first and foremost, is to Ellie.

So he tries not to imagine Ezra when his libido comes roaring back to life after years of dormancy, boiling his blood and making him feel half his age.

And he fails, miserably.

CWF human AU :

So, Adam is Vaggie's godfather, well, that's messy. I wouldn't be surprised if 6 years old Vaggie told Lute that she and Adam should just be together, because not only they're best friends, but they obviously love each other (Vaggie saw how they looked at each other) and Sera has to take Vaggie for the day because Lute being told that messed with her mind.

Seth probably assumed that it was why his father often visited Lute, though he definitely understood that Adam and lute were a thing when he was like 10 or 11.

Considering Cain was jealous of Abel in the Bible, I think than here, Abel managed to accept the divorce pretty easily and his lack of venom toward Lute and Vaggie+being a nice caring guy got Adam and Sera, Sera who's probably some sort of honorary aunt for the Eden sons, and this pissed off Cain who thought his brother was being a traitor and a suck-up.

Vaggie with a soft g probably is how both Adam and Cain call her, at least depending of the situation. I think than Adam always call her Vaggie with a soft g, and if she get upset over it he just bribe her with sweets or money.

Meanwhile, Abel call her Maria, Seth call her Vaggie with a hard G, and I think Cain usually call her Guerrera unless he's pissed, and there he say Vaggie with a soft g.

For Abel, calling her that is because he know Vagatha is not her real name and he's appalled by that immature joke, furthermore, considering his link to plants, I imagine that he helped her learn about plants and she actually liked it too, even if it's not her interest, unlike Cain who prefer being with his animals and find Abel's interests stupid and Seth who isn't interested even if not hostile.

Seth just always knew the name as Vaggie with a hard G, especially since his mother as well as Sera and Lute told him the soft g was just a thing Adam did as a Godfather.

I think the only one of Adam's sons Lute really get along with is Seth, pre reveal at least, because Cain hate her, I think Lute is too agressive for Abel to appreciate her and she most likely doesn't get his interests, though there's no real hostility, simply non-compatibility, while Seth would have seen Lute since he's a baby, and she's simply his dad's cool friend.

How did Vaggie's relationship with her half-brothers and father changed after she learned they were her family?

I think the reveal of Adam being Vaggie's father is one of the events that started to kick off Emily's doubts on her link to Sera.

Sera knew Vaggie was Adam's daughter, and Emily would have been in her mother's belly when Vaggie was born.

If Sera could keep secret something like that, despite being Vaggie's godmother, what else could she keep?

I think Emily started wondering before, but learning Vaggie's godfather was also Vaggie's father and the fact that none of the adults ever told it, despite the fact than Vaggie knew her brothers since her youth definitely made her consider the possibility that there were other lies in families.

Sera and Vaggie probably had a quite heated argument too, with Emily siding with Vaggie.

What anger Vaggie the most probably is that the secret wasn't that necessary from her pov, she knew Adam well, and Lute and him not being together made it clear she wouldn't have had anything like a normal family, but she love her family, Emily is like a cousin, Sera+Adam and Lute's armies buddies are like her aunts, Adam is weird but she like him well enough.

So why the secret?

I think than after the fiasco of the reveal, Vaggie decided to do ballet at Carmilla's school, as she need to do a physically intensive activity that wasn't like what her mother did, and beside, Vaggie always liked dancing.

On a more cheerful note, Vaggie probably learned dancing, flamenco most likely (the Guerrera being of Spanish origin) from her mom, as dancing was something Agatha and Lucia loved to do together.

Hum, and now than I realize it, Lute got her name through her mother, since Guerrera was Agatha's name before Hector,which make sense tbf if there's a question of prestige.

I love the mental image of Adam struggling to learn the music of guitar to go along Lute's dancing when they were in the army, Adam's music likely was one of the few ways to distract themselves after all.

When did Charlie and Vaggie started going out? And I know Lute's reaction was bad (with mother-daughter actually fighting each other) but what was Adam's reaction when Lute brought it up to him?

I propose Vaggie meeting Carmilla at 14 to give reasonable time for her to learn it, furthermore, at this point in life, Vaggie's trust in her adult figures is shattered, be it her mother, her godparents Sera and Adam or Lute and Adam's old army buddies, who would definitely have known the truth.

Okay, this is a long one, so it's gonna take a bit to fully answer....

Young Vaggie definitely once suggested her mother get married to Adam. because, yeah. she absolutely could tell the two of them had a thing for each other. She didn't understand why her mom had such a negative reaction to the suggestion until she was quite a bit older.

Seth and Vaggie were both really excited at the idea of their dad and mom, respectively, getting married when they were really little. Because they were best friends and if their parents got married, that would make them siblings. They even use that at least once to try and convince Adam and Lute to get married, and basically all the adults present can feel the tension in the air because they all know the secret of Vaggie's parentage, but these kids have no clue...

You are right that part of what makes Cain resentful of Abel in this AU is the fact that, despite being two years younger, Abel had a much easier time accepting his parents' decision to get a divorce. While Cain felt upset and betrayed by what happened, and kept trying to blame someone, despite Adam and Eve explaining to their sons that it was nobody's fault - they just weren't happy being married to each other anymore. Abel was also a bit upset, but was much more easily comforted by the promise both his parents made that even if they weren't married anymore, and they weren't in love, they did still care about each other and they both were going to love Abel and his brothers as much as they ever had.

Basically hit the nail on the head for what each of the Eden men calls Vaggie - Seth really is the only one who calls her by her actual first name, and pronounces it the way it's actually supposed to be said. Though Cain is the only one who calls her Vaggie with the soft G out of malice; with Adam, it's mostly just him being sort of playful, and, he'd argue, the way he's supposed to say it, since he is the one who picked her first name, and knows how you're supposed to pronounce it.

Lute isn't super close to any of Adam's sons, but Seth is definitely the one she gets along the best with, for basically the reasons you said. Plus, he's the closest in age to her daughter and the two kids are really close, so she kind of just ends up seeing Seth more often than either Cain or Abel, since while usually Vaggie would go over to Eve's place after school to hang out with Seth until Lute got out of work, it wasn't like the inverse never happened, and Seth stayed over at Lute's to play with Vaggie.

I think Vaggie's relationship with Adam changed more than her relationships with any of her half-brothers once she learned the truth of their relationship. Obviously things were different all around, but I don't actually think the way Cain, Abel, or Seth really treated Vaggie would be super impacted by them learning they were siblings, at least once the initial shock of the reveal has passed. But with Adam, the fact that he was her father - and he knew the whole time - did make Vaggie think of him differently for a while. She admits that she almost wishes he was less involved in her life than he was, because then she wouldn't have to deal with the fact that technically her father was around for her whole life up to that point...she just had no clue who he was because both he and her mother actively chose to lie to her.

Honestly, Vaggie's "fall" in this AU is likely at least somewhat the result of the fall-out from the reveal of Adam being her father, because out of anger and just being hurt at the secrecy, there is a bit of a rift between Lute and Vaggie, and Vaggie actually starts kind of acting out and pushing her mother away. She starts occasionally skipping school and refusing to go home, no matter how much Lute tries to make her. And it leads to a minor, but still physical altercation where after it's done, Lute is convinced to let Vaggie have some space to deal with her feelings - but with the caveat that if Vaggie won't come home, she has to at least make sure she's staying with people Lute at least trusts to keep her safe - which are the Morningstars (Lute isn't a huge fan of Lucifier or especially Lilith, but she knows they wouldn't let anything happen to Vaggie) or the Celestes.

And it is during this time where Vaggie meets the Carmine twins, Odette and Clara, and they introduce her to their mother, who is starting up a new ballet studio in town after having recently moved in. And Vaggie takes them up on the offer of trying it out, if only to have something to keep her busy now that she's taking an indefinite break from fencing lessons to avoid her mother as much as she can. She did also continue to do the flamenco dancing that she'd learned from Lute growing up, and actually enjoyed doing both, to her slight surprise.

Charlie and Vaggie were probably around like, 15 when they started seriously dating? They may have kissed a bit and gone on a couple dates when they were a little younger, but it wasn't until then that they actually decided to make it official that they were actually in a relationship.

Finding out that Adam was Vaggie's father absolutely helped to really push Emily into wondering if her "sister" had been keeping any other secrets, especially from her. Because part of her had always wondered why Sera was always so unwilling to tell Emily much about their parents, or why she apparently had no pictures of them, despite how close they'd apparently been. For most of her life, she just took any of Sera's explanations as fact because, why would she lie to her about that? But now that she's seen that Sera would lie about something like who Vaggie's father is, she has to wonder what else she may have been capable of lying about....

At the end of return of the Jedi the only time they’ve spent as a couple is when their relationship started in ESB and its continuation in ROJ most of which they were in battle. uhmyguuuud, the longest long fic I've ever attempted, probably, and I've deleted a 50k star trek fic this year after realizing I was never going to finish it.

i'm going to gift you the beginning:

1. Every time you’ve made it to the top there’s no ocean on the other side but just another dune. You know that change is a part of life. Has to be, really, because when you’re an athlete, it’s no good to stay the same. You need to be better. Better than the team on the other side. Better than the other setter in your team, even if it’s a third-year who has way more experience. Better than yourself, who you were yesterday. Your father coined a phrase, back when he was still an underdog in Japanese high school Volleyball and maybe it’s not even his wisdom but that of a wise trainer, but that doesn’t stop him from telling it to you every day until you think your ears are going to bleed if you hear it one more time.  “Every day I get up to beat the one opponent that truly matters. Who I was yesterday.” Even now, when you don’t get to talk to your dad daily, the phrase is never far. It’s printed on T-shirts and repeated by other people. People who don’t think of your dad as, well, your dad. They think of him as “The Cisse”, think of him as Cisse versus Ishikawa, a rivalry if you’ve ever seen one. They think of him as the great volleyball player and Coach of a Division 1 Volleyball Team, as the guy who does ads for protein powder and tells the press that yes, he still loves his wife but recognizes that she has her own path to walk. That yes, divorce is hard but he’s trying to be there for his teenage daughter the best he can.  They don’t ask him how he makes the time for you besides work and promo and travel so at least you don’t have to listen to him lie about that.

This is version number 2 because I changed it and I have to change it again...

Basically, Reader's (I gave her a few names to work with, as seen in this part, though I haven't decided on one) parents have separated and she has to move in with her mother in Miyagi. But as she moves, she also gets to know Bokuto, so she has kind of a long distance friendship with him through her cousin Akaashi. That doesn't work out, though, because they're too young and after high school she has to move again, to Argentina this time, because of her father.

the main part of the story is later, when she returns to japan. in the original version she was going to meet Bokuto again and their love rekindles. Than I had version two where she stays with Kenma because of a health scare of her father so she can take care of him and they fall in love but because she and bokuto had a crush on each other in high school, there's a tension there.

And in version 3 she stayed with Tsukki who had a crush on her because she was the cool senpai but he's adamant not to let her know he has feelings for her. That's the least developed part of the fic.

I really really need to clean this fic up, but I love it and I still haven't decided who she's going to end up with (I've even thought about an ending with Ennoshita)

Kyle's kids headcanons,please!

Ofc! (tw for divorce/parent death mention)

(It was never really said who the mother was so)

Kyle’s kids live in an interfaith household. Their mom was Christian and of course, Kyle is Jewish

The kids were allowed to pick which religion they wanted to follow, his son chose Judaism and his daughter is still undecided.

His son’s name is Elijah Stanley Broflovski

His daughter’s name is Skylar Sheila Broflovski

Elijah is 15 and Skylar is 10

The two are really close to each other, much like Ike and Kyle were

I honestly can’t see Kyle divorcing his wife, I feel like he’s the kind of person to try to fight for a relationship whether it’s toxic or not. He just doesn’t want it to fall apart. But I guess if it began taking a mental toll on him he’d go through? Or if his spouse was truly unhappy he’d do what he thought was best.

Either that or I was considering the mom possibly dying when (at least Elijah) was very young? But I dunno

So he was kind of left alone with a five year old and a three month old but he loves his kids so, so much

She was named after her mom’s mother

Shes really, really bubbly (think Kinkajou from Wings of Fire or Mabel from Gravity Falls)

Shes very bouncy and energetic

Kyle cannot keep up with her

Shes probably one of the more popular kids in her class because of her high energy and kind personality

But boy oh boy is she stubborn

Her stubbornness tends to get her in trouble, especially at school

She also doesn’t really have a filter

So she tends to say something kind of out of pocket thinking it’s completely okay to say

She loves her older brother more than anyone

If he were to get a girlfriend or something she would be extremely jealous tbh-

She loves plushies

She has a gigantic collection of them and if her brother or dad are upset she gives them one that reminds her of them

Shes an outdoors kind of girl

She does gymnastics

(This universe is connected to Trevors-Bitter!Dads(Bone and Skull are basically daughters of divorced Vucub and Chivo) and my headcanon of Maya,Acat and Zatz being a trople).

•Wishing to harness the power of his sacrifice to the greatest,Mictlan decides to keep Maya in the Underworld,where she would train under Lady Micte and be spied on in case she would rebel.The only task for the god of war was not to get attached to said child,which he ultimately failed.

•It all started out of precaution:after his wifes surprise,Mictlan isn’t so sure about goddesses loyalty,which resulted in him silently following her, looming over her whenever she looks after Maya.It was disgusting,horrifying experience for the tyrant,especially the diapers one,but at the same time it made him warm up to the kid-after all,despite the heat of lava and biting cold it was still alive and kicking.Eventually he would even want to hold her-much to the charging of Micte.Apparently the reassurance that “he won’t kill her yet” didn’t convince her.

•Through the years,Mictlan grows found of Maya-a skilled warrior who in terms of combat does not reach only him,a person she calls “father”,unaware of the path planned for her.Despite the illusion of a happy family he created for himself,Lord of gods doesn’t forget the true reason he let the kid live:therefore,he never addresses her as “his daughter”, and except for the duels they arrange "to test Maya's power",Mictlan doesn't spend any time with her.This results in Maya thinking of herself as too weak,not worthy of her fathers attention,despite Mictes reassurance and vain attempts to make her daughter think about something other than fighting and murder.

•Mictlan would avoid talking about his plan to sacrifice with pantheon,to keep him image up in front of the other gods.If not for Goddes of Death interferences,Maya wouldn’ve been picked on by them,due of her status as “leaders toy”.

•The only friends she has are Acat with Zatz,who despite having feelings for Maya,are also aware of Mictlans influence on her.Because of that,she can be bossy and treat them as somewhat expandable,for which she later apologizes.

•Meanwhile,in the Kindom of Teca,King and Queen were contemplating about the daughter they never had,and how they would’ve celebrated her quinceañera.The conversation was overheard by Lance, Dagger, and Shield,who upon discovering the existence of their little sister, went on a journey to the Divine Gates in order to  “save” Maya from the gods,which kidnapped her?Raised her?She’s half goddes???That’s confusing,but they’ll find a way to rescue their hermana!

•During the fight at the Gate(in which Maya was forbidden to participate but she sneaked up anyway),Teca brothers accused Mictlan of his want to use Mayas heart to become invincible.After hearing that,terrified demigodess momentarily distracts the pantheon and flees with three warriors,who claimed to protect her.

•Through their journey to Teca Kingdom,Maya gets to know her brothers,who are a bit put off by her blood lust but overall supportive,and starts to question whenever the mortals Mictlan always talked about really that pathetic? Upon meeting her supposed real  father,she acts suspicious,hostile even,until she spends some time with him and Queen Teca,from whom she gets to know her origin.While being in her rightful kindom,Maya learned some patience regarding the people she loves from Queen,similar to how the later got to keep her cool with triplets; King showed her that she can fight honorably without unnecessary bloodshed,and still love every second of it!

•However, the moment of peace was quickly disrupted by the pantheon of gods, who, at the behest of their Lord, went in search of Maya.In order to protect their newly found family member the triplets go to the battle with their father,from which they didn’t return alive.That way Maya lost the first humans she really cared about.

•Around the same time,Mictlan stays in his kindom,deeply conflicted: on one hand,he lost his ticket to an infinite power,on the other-someone who he considers as his kin probably thinks of him as a monster-which he is,don’t get him wrong-but it still hurts a little.He doesn’t dwell for long however,as he gets ambushed by Micte and Camazotz,who’ve been planning to overthrow him all this time.Their sympathizers,Cipactli, Cabrakan along with Vucub,were sent to stop Mictlans band from doing harm to Maya and humanity.All the while Zatz and Acat were entrusted with a task to help Maya kill God of War.

•Meanwhile,grieving demigod finds the true prophecy and tries to requit warriors from different kindoms so that they’ll stop Mictlan,only this  Maya does that first out of anger and need for revenge-for herself and her brothers-and later out of concern for human kind.

•The following events would occur in that order: Maya would lie to her team about destroying the Divine Gate while uniting each nation against their common enemy.The biggest difference would be her relationship with crew: at first,Princess makes it clear that she wants them as her fighting force, to which the Rooster Wizard loudly announces his displeasure while Picchu tries to keep an eye of the daughter of death. The first person who warmed up to her was Chimi,which absorbed every bit of information about Eagle Warriors mother.Rico and Picchu were more sceptic of their “leader”,but later witnessed ✨the power of friendship✨ and became besties.Aside from her team,Maya would be accompanied by Acat and Zatz,who were aiding her when needed.

•During their first fight with the gods,when Vucub is aiding Chimi,one of the Goddeses of Thievery is distracted by seeing her other father there,which was enough for Rico to strike her down,mistaking skeletons confusion for a want to hurt Skull Archer.When the other sibling sees this and rushes to her defense,she’s killed as well,this time by no other then Mictlan.

•Turns out that during his battle with his wife and Camazotz ,he started to think to himself-was that really worth it?These two are fighting for the sake of their children,one of which he saw growing up.Was this race for strength more important then a little warrior who wanted to make him proud?Upon that,God of War made his decision-he surrendered and proposed to Gods of Death and Bats to help look for Maya,in turn he stops his sympathisers from hurting her or her allies.Still unsure of Mictlans sudden change of heart,Micte and Camazotz took his deal on the condition that all this time they’re going to accompany him,that way they have a chance to stop him whenever he decides to come back to his old ways.

•After the explanation everyone agreed to send Mictlan to the most guarded room in the castle(even through the God of War opposed the idea,saying that “no castle can hold him” and “he needs to talk to Maya”,but after said demigod screamed at him to shut up or it would be her turn to eat hearts,he obliged),while Camazotz,Vucub,Cipactli and Cabrakan take turns to guard their self-made prison.After reuniting with Micte,Zatz and Acat(the young gods have helped through the battle),Maya gets to partake in the dinner scene,but instead of talking about defeating Mictlan,her three parents discuss how to stop Chivo,who upon seeing God of War celebrating the murder of his daughters,realizes the later won’t sacrifice the Eagle Warrior.As an act of revenge,he started gathering the remaining pantheon,claiming that if they’ll help him overthrow their present ruler,he will share demigods power with them.

•The day of the final battle came(most of the events play similar to canon,with addition of few characters).In desperation,Chivo started devouring the gods hearts in order to transform into his final form.During the fight Micte suggested to distract God of Dark Magic in order for Maya to strike him.Seeing how Chivo has already killed Vucub,Cipactli and Cabrakan,Mictlan decides to give his heart to Micte so that she can redirect Chivos attention from the demigod.Was it stupid and contradicted centuries old goal to world domination?Yes,but he can’t bear the thought of his little warrior losing a battle.After having his life sourse ripped out his chest,Mictlan apologizes to the Eagle Warrior for all the things she endured because of him,and how much he’s proud of her. May she live her life surrounded by people who are not ashamed to call her their daughter.

•While Micte and Camazotz fight the monster from the outside,Zatz and Acat hold the goats jaw open long enough for Maya to sneak inside.Witnessing the loves of her life being crushed between Chivos teeth made the Teca Princess all the more determined to end God of Dark Magic by striking him right in the heart.

•After reuniting with her living family and friends,Maya reincarnates into the sun,Zatz becomes the moon and Acat takes the role of a Guiding Star,similar to how she abandoned her unhealthy way of thinking and joined Maya.

I witnessed this when I was 12 because my brother is insane and decided his little brother with a medical special interest should witness and doctor his severe burn. He also lives in Texas. The branding thing has stuck with me enough that when I was a stockman and cattle were being branded I had to stay back because I couldn't watch it without getting queasy. Not cuz I felt bad or anything it's just that the smell of burnt hair and flesh brought back memories.

• My eldest brother who dances to Billie Jean at literally every fucking wedding he's been to for the past 30 years. Also he doesn't like me. His wife REALLY doesn't like me (she thinks I'm dangerous cuz I've taken the kids shooting). He just doesn't like me cuz our dad dumped his mum for mine and had me though, so I'm the kid who had it all (ignoring how the divorce left Dad in poverty so I also grew up in poverty WOOP)

• My maternal uncle who's an ARA antivax hippie vegan and hates me. Also he's gotten COVID more times than I can count so I avoid him like the literal plague. He gives me creepy vibes.

• My paternal uncle who, as a teenager, let his dog loose so it'd attack my aunt's dog just for an excuse to talk to her. Her dog damn near killed his dog. Then they started dating. His dog got a steak for being such a devoted wingman. This uncle also REALLY fucking hates lettuce and none of us know why but he will have an absoute meltdown if it touches food on his plate. No one, not even my aunt, has gotten an answer as to what the fuck's up with the lettuce thing.

• My youngest maternal cousin who was an alcoholic surfie who died of diabetes before he reached 25. He was convinced he'd die before he reached 25 but he literally drank and ate himself into an early grave knowing he couldn't be doing that shit with his diabetes. I have one memory of him showing me how to catch minnows with my bare hands, and I still use that trick for catching bait fish.

• My oldest maternal cousin who's a deadbeat dad and I hate him because he doesn't do right by his son or daughter. He's all they've got since their mum is institutionalised for mental issues. My aunt and uncle raise his kids while he lies on the couch smoking hooch all day (I really do NOT like him).

• My maternal second cousin who's nonverbal autistic, but both his deadbeat stoner dad and hippie antivax grandad refuse to get him tested. This boy suffers in school and my heart breaks for him. I had no idea what this kid looked like from 3-5 because he always wore an Iron Man mask all day every day, and he stopped speaking entirely around 6. He's now completely nonverbal and despite being about 13 years old he has the functionality of 6 year old. Last I saw him, he still tries to conversate with me when he sees me though, and he'll sit down and pet Misty and he knows I like talking so he'll pick from a few topics I write down for him and have me talk about them. He understands speech just fine, he just doesn't talk himself. And also really really really hates seatbelts so I knit him a seatbelt cover and now he uses them (turns out he just didn't like the raw edge of the belt). His little sister has some behavioural issues but she's genuinely a sweetheart and seems to be the only person who always knows what he's thinking, so she acts a mediator for him a lot.

• My paternal cousin everyone is convinced is either gay or autistic or a trans woman or all of the above. Him and I get on fine so I'm also on the bandwagon of That Boy Ain't Right cuz there's something in him I recognise, I just don't know what. Don't reckon he's a woman or gay though, and if there's anybody he'd come out to it's me cuz the family is conservative but he knows damn well I won't judge. I'm pretty sure he's just on the spectrum.

• My paternal nephew who's the only bloke what came out normal. He's going to uni in a few years and GOD do I hope he comes back normal. He's spoilt but he's a good kid.

How cool would it be if they made Stella one of those villains that are evil just because.  

TLDR: I want Stella to be a unsympathetic Villian with a perfect childhood

I know that stella is kind already one of those. What I mean is what if she had everything Stolas wanted?  

I'm still down with the idea that stella was probably never told no or whatever  

But like what if she had attentive and loving parents, friends, a support system. Shes clearly close to her brother that he’d sit in to negotiate what stella gets in the divorce. Even if you could say he doesn’t actually care about her is just saving face to get her riches but to a degree you gotta still care about in the wrong way to want her money even if it's not like an affectionate ‘I care about you’ and even if he didn’t care he's still rich so he could have just let Stella kill Stolas and she gets nothing and is penniless   

If that makes since  

Stolas didn’t have any friends growing up and his butler basically raised him. He was tossed into an arranged marriage very quickly and his dad just took him to the circus just to shut him up (he didn’t even physically go). His own father doesn’t remember his name and we have no clue where Stolas’ mom is as of when I'm writing this. He (I'm assuming because we don’t know who stolas siblings are and he never brings them up and they don’t get a cameo in The Circus) doesn’t know any of his siblings.  

Stolas from what we know so far, he doesn’t have any friends in the Ars Goetia, in his class or even in general.  

I think it would be cool if Stella had what Stolas didn’t.  

It won't be hard to implement this either past episodes show stella has friends and is close to her brother.  

What if stella's parents are doting and loving parents who agreed to the arrange marriage because... well stolas has like wicked wealth and is like what? Part of the direct line of royalty to the Ars Goetia? (she’s technically a princess) So why would you say no to that? What if stella's parent agreed because they wanted, they’re daughter to live a good life and even if she was unhappy, she’d at least be well off and financially taken care of. What if stella and her family get along wonderfully? I think it would be cool.  

This is all I have but I also thought of this as well it's just me expressing how I feel about how people are characterizing Stella I think it's kind of unfair  (you dont have to read this but

If you ask for something and its given to you without consequence or anything changing, you grow up with that. It's like when kids ask for toys do you think they're really taking into effect everything that could go into getting that toy? No, they just want the toy they aren't thinking about anything else  

If stella was raised like that and she asked for something to be done or something to be given to her and nothing much changed other than what she wanted has been done or given. Why would she think about Stolas’ asceses? Why would she care I'm sure she has enough old money to hold her over any way.

She also knows that Stolas won't give her anything. So, she’d probably just go back to her parents or find a new husband she is pretty after all :/  

I think the reason Stella didn’t think about what happens to all of his power and responsibilities is because she only thought of Stolas being killed. She has tunnel vision, her goal, what she wants. Shes not thinking “man if I kill Stolas what happens to his stuff?” Why would she? When you're given stuff with no change, you're not going to think of what could happen after you get that thing.  

She's not dumb, just narrow minded. I think people are taking andrealphus’ words too seriously. Also, when has she been dumb before in the show? She doesn’t show up a lot but like in the few times we’ve seen her when has she acted “too dumb to function”? In the few episodes we’ve seen she's hot headed, loud, social, self-centered and very aware of what shes doing to Stolas. I mean fuck she said “I like tormenting you” someone dumb wouldn’t be able to articulate why they're doing something they just do it.  and if Stella was so dumb how come Stolas couldn’t think of lie to fool her about the cheating? Huh? If Stella is so dumb, how did she order the hit and keep it a secret for so long? I mean sure she had that phone call right Infront of Stolas, but I think that more on Stolas' end tbh like she was screaming in your direction how did you not hear that?

If stella was so dumb Stolas would have figured out the hit by now or at least via maybe? She takes via out on weekends maybe she was planning it while with her.    

And you know what I don’t think Stella is mad about Stolas cheating on her per say I think she’s pissed it was imp

I just realized today is my late granny's birthday, so y'all are gonna get some fun facts about her

she was born in the 1910s (she was already almost 80 by the time i was born, so most of this is either from her stories or stories from various relatives)

she was half native american, her father was a wealthy merchant who fell in love, this was not super normal for the time so for my granny's protection he paid off the records keeper to change her birth cert.

her father was wealthy as i mentioned so she lived a posh life, (until the money ran out), when she was 17 she drove a fancy car into a ditch and she didn't drive again for the rest of her life (she may have been drunk) again this was the early 1900s

She was married to 7 or 8 different men (the number is fuzzy)

She had between 14-24 pregnancies, 13 of those made it to adulthood, the youngest of which is my father

my favorite photo of her is her two oldest daughters holding their babies and her holding my father, my father has nieces and nephews that are in fact older than him, they sarcastically call him uncle

she got into a bar fight and ended up hooking one of the guys in the holding cell up with her oldest daughter (they were married for 60ish years before he passed, great guy, he was older than my mother's father lmao)

her and my grandfather (and possibly some other relatives) used to go to ummmm those shows that are x rated, peep shows, i think they're called,

she firmly believed in fairies, (perfect timing with the whole walrus thing) and most things supernatural, a lot of my family has carried that on, myself included (maybe not fairies but ghosts and some other stuff like El Chupacabra)

she was an expert seamstress, all the grandkids have cool dolls she made us, still have mine

She and my grandfather were divorced and remarried 3 different times, they died married

ironically both my grandparents were raised wealthy but all of the money dried up before they were adults (i'm talking generational wealth)

She was very pious, church was important, but she also wasn't judgmental, had no problem with her gay grandkids (again this is hearsay she was extremely old by the time i knew her)

she drank a glass of whiskey a night (sometimes more lmao), she took it neat, lived to be in her 90s! she didn't smoke but my grandfather was a notorious chain smoker, he was in his late 80s when he died (2 months after her)

Extra fun fact, my grandfather was a code breaker during ww2, he wouldn't speak around this certain part of houston where there are a bunch of phone lines and power lines, like he would just go silent, when asked about it he'd say classified soooooo idk, he also believed in aliens something that rubbed off on a bunch of us, he had 2 kids with granny, and adopted one of hers who didn't find out she was adopted by him until his funeral, she thought he was her bio dad

ALSO they both died in a house that is still owned by family, i have 100% heard them talking in the room they died in, the dogs (new ones that weren't around for them i was a teen when they died) refuse to go in that room, and other people have reported hearing them or seeing things in the room

"Dad Beat Dad" episode review

Charlie and the gang meet Lucifer. Spoilers!

It’s cute getting confirmation that Charlie and Vaggie sleep in the same bed. You think since this is Charlie, they’d sleep in separate rooms or beds…only for Charlie to feel lonely and ask Vaggie if she could sleep with her XD.

Though small, it’s nice to see Charlie admit that she isn’t okay with something, instead of trying to make it sound like she isn’t and everything is fine like she usually does.

The string on Charlie’s wall is shaped like a star. Fun symbolism or more?

He, Charlie drew Angel as an actual spider.

Another new power for Charlie, when she gets emotional she can make the ground shake. Could this be another thing related to that Hellquake Blitzo felt in the Cherub episode!

Fingers crossed that there is more to Lucifer allowing the Exterminations to happen.

Again fun to hear Charlie curse, and I think we saw a bit of her mom’s side there.

I’m liking Charlie’s thinking about asking the other higher ups of Heaven for a meeting. Shows she can find alternate ways to things and goes back to my thing about how Adam could do this so quickly and my “Charlie is being tested” theory.

I hope your right Charlie about angels wanting to help, or at least will LATER in the series. Again I think it be cool if Jesus Christ allied with Charlie later on.

On Charlie’s phone you can see several contacts like 2 demons like Amon (a marquis goetia of life and reproduction) and Azazel (which was a place people left scapegoats representing their sins before becoming a demon who gave humans forbidden knowledge) and Cyhyraeth, a thing from Welsh mythology, adding more to my “Heaven/Hell inspiring other myths” :)

Wait split? LIKE DIVORCED? DAMMMIT WHY WRITERS! Or by split could Charlie have meant Lilith’s 7 years of being missing? I’m kind of hoping that this isn’t the first time Lucifer and Lilith have gotten “divorced”, and it’s a healthy thing for their kind of relationship, and Charlie doesn’t realize this because she is still “young”.

So Charlie has daddy issues in that she just wants some actual father/daughter time with her father. Hopefully she does here.

So it looked like Lucifer, Lilith, and Charlie were a happy family back then. I’m hoping Charlie wasn’t the reason her parents split, nor anything similar to what Stolas and Stella had.

I’ve talked about the VAs for the show previously, but it was only because it was the beginning of the show and I don’t usually mind such stuff (in fact Angel’s voice has gotten better since the first episode and I bet Jeremy Jordan will to) but out of all the thoughts I have about them, the biggest one that I will always defend is that Lucifer SHOULD have had a Mark Hamill’s Joker like voice. I mean that is PERFECT for this character as Lucifer looks both scary AND funny and who fits that more than the DCAU Joker. It likely would have helped with the fandom too as apparently a lot of people don’t like HH’s Lucifer because he is so goofy. What if as a compromise, Lucifer’s full demon form sounds Joker like? Would you have liked for him to have such a voice?

Though he’s probably doing it out of nervousness, I feel like Lucifer’s attitude about not wanting Charlie to see Heaven is a bit related to my headcanon of him not wanting his daughter to become a target.

I like how Angel smiled when Charlie said her redemption dream meant a lot to her, showing that he is valuing that she cares for him. Also points for Vaggie for comforting Charlie during the call :)

That look of pain Lucifer had when Charlie said Heaven would listen if she talked to them, reminds me of a thing I said in a previous review about how Lucifer was in Charlie shoes millennia ago and knowing what Heaven will do, doesn’t want Charlie to go through it.

The fact Lucifer didn’t instantly destroy Alastor shows he has restraint, that or he is doing it for his daughter. Either way cool.

Someone pointed it out, but I am surprised that there haven’t been that many big moments between Charlie and Vaggie being a couple. At least there are to make it clear that they are together, and its better then how Helluva Boss hammers in the eventually Blitzo and Stolas relationship, no offense to Stolitz fans.

While the “not knowing Charlie’s bi” thing did worry me for a second, mostly because of what I said in my Charlie and Vaggie trailer breakdown, it would have been worse if Lucifer was a bad dad. Luckily he isn’t and it is great knowing that it didn’t affect how much he really loves Charlie, doesn’t hate humans/sinners, and instantly likes Vaggie.

They got the voice of Spinel for her cool. It also sounds a lot like I was imagining, very DCAU Harley Quinn meets 1920sesque stereotypical voice. Small note but I hope we hear her call Alastor puddin one day XD.

It was always a known that she loved money and such, but the Mammon tattoo on her back is a bit concerning. Then there is that look Mimzy gave about “dropping by”.

For a minute there I thought Mimzy was going to try and flirt with Lucifer. That would have ended badly, though I would mind seeing someone else try and do it. A bit off topic but I’m kind of hoping such a thing happens when Lilith is also in the room and a jealous Lilith embarrasses the lady XD.

Got some interesting character designs in Mimzy’s story like a sinner as a couch, one with a mirror for a face (likely symbolizing she was a copycat or very vain about her looks, an Anubis guy (remind me of the female mummy/pharaoh from pilot) and one that looks like Sally from Nightmare Before Christmas. I also feel some of those Overlords Alastor took out are refences like that girl in the alleyway gives off Penumbra from “Villainous vibes, that one aquatic demon reminds me of the Von Eldritch family with a mix of Baxter/Glitz and Glam (maybe she was Fredrick or Bethesda’s great aunt), the doctor looking like Invader Zim’s Professor Membrane, and that long hair demon looks familiar too.

So Mimzy is there for selfish reasons.

In Charlie’s defense Lucifer, those are hellborn demons attacking so it is different. Again they really should consider not clumping sinners and hellborn demons together in the same category.

I think Lucifer’s speech to Charlie is also him complaining about something else.

Alastor is GIGANTIFIED! At least my idea of my OC Astro having a Megazord form isn’t as crazy as it sounds now.

I’m also surprised that Lucifer didn’t try fighting the Loan Sharks to impress Charlie.

Ooo I sense some big Charlie and Lucifer moments coming up.

I really hope the writers use Alastor’s offer of Mimzy returning to change as a way to make her a main character later on.

Ugh it looks like Lilith and Lucifer ARE divorced and have been for a long time. Again WHY WRITERS. At least they seem to be on good terms. Plus again “Lilith imposter” theory.

WAIT so does this mean the popular fan theory of “Lucifer creating the Extermination so Heaven would be okay with him and Lilith having Charlie” is wrong? Knowing these kinds of shows, maybe Lucifer is hiding that info from Charlie and when she does find out, it makes her mad at him and strains their relationship once again…for a short time.

We’re going to see what Heaven is like! At least in ways not seen in those early released HH trading cards.

Okay Vaggie being nervous about going to Heaven definitely confirms that she is a former Exorcist.

THIS WAS THE BEST HAZBIN HOTEL EPISODE YET!

I’m SOOOO glad Lucifer while flawed, isn’t a bad father like those we’ve seen in Helluva Boss. I’d say he outranks them all. It’s also great to know that while he can be goofy, he can still have more personality and serious emotion, like not wanting Charlie to go through the same pain he went through with Heaven. Now let’s hope Lilith (the TRUE Lilith) is just as good as a parent too.

It was also great to see Mimzy in the episode, which I think we all expected since I recall Vivzie saying she was going to be in a big episode and I’m glad she was, especially before spoilers started appearing on YouTube. From the voice to her attitude, she is a lot like I was expecting and I hope she gets a bigger role in the future. I can also now work on posting this funny pic I’ve had related to her that I’ve been holding onto for some time so stay tuned for that.

Then there is, in my opinion, the episode's only but BIG FLAW of finding out that Lucifer and Lilith are no longer together. It’s another predictable plot point (at least to me), it’s another example of how Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss are TOO SIMILAR to each other, and just overall a really, REALLY big bummer to see and hear about, especially after all the pics and quotes from Vivziepop about how much Lucifer and Lilith love each other.

LUCKILY I have mentioned a dozen ideas in past works for how the writers could fix this/make this work AND be a good thing story wise, from how this is a natural cycle in Lucifer and Lilith's relationship to how it’s the equivalent of a night on the couch to Lucifer, my favorite so far would have to be the “Lilith imposter” theory that has been going around.

As the name implies, someone or something is pretending to be Lilith as part of an evil plan so what if to defend Charlie and Hell (also cause they feared the idea of Lucifer having a child with someone who isn’t his actual wife) Lilith (and maybe even Lucifer) got divorced so the imposter wouldn’t get their hands on some seriously big info about Hell and Heaven, and even though it PAINED BOTH OF THEM to do it, they realized it was the right call.

This could lead to a future story where when after the imposter is finally revealed and/or captured/killed, Lucifer and Lilith get REMARRIED! I have this idea somewhere about how Charlie always wanted to plan her parent’s wedding, and this could make such a thing happen. You have to agree that this would make for an awesome “just for fun” episode. Maybe one where they are safe enough to have another kid, THAT would be crazy and I LOVE IT! I’m hopeful that this could happen, and I hope there are other fans out there too. Until we find out more about what is going on, my only choice is to pull a Red vs. Blue Sarge and blame the few fans who liked the divorced idea before the episode came out XD.

Now we’re going to see Charlie and Vaggie go to Heaven. Let’s just hope they don’t screw things up too much then they could have.

Rick V-024-E loves his daughter and is extremely proud of her. When he found out she was pregnant he tried to get her to have an abortion for fear of her future, but she refused. He made sure he was more around from then on so that she could go to medical school and become a surgeon (for humans). He is concerned about her drinking habits, but doesn't say much because it'd be hypocritical. He's the kind of dad that cuts up fruit for his kid to show his affection.

Morty V-024-E loves his mom, but they aren't close. They get along, but Beth feels a bit of resentment toward both him and Summer because she feels like they were what made her dad stick around more. This isn't true, it was a combination of Rick having matured and realizing that it wasn't too late to take care of his daughter.

Jerry:

Rick has known Jerry for a longg time (18 years) at this point. He really didn't like Jerry for a long time, but has grown to consider him family. He thinks Jerry is stupid though.

Morty loves his dad, but he doesn't understand or respect his father's apathy toward getting a job, and he feels like his father isn't stupid regardless of what Rick says, and could be successful if he tried. Morty V-024-E and Jerry V-024-E do not get along.

Summer:

Rick was, at one point, Summer's primary caregiver until Jerry decided he was going to start staying home to "work on his book".  They were very close, but Summer seems to have distanced herself recently. Rick and Morty don't seem surprised by this which confuses Beth and Jerry. Summer often goes on the few adventures Rick and Morty V-024-E go on.

Morty and Summer get along. They can often be found sitting quietly with each other doing school work or messing around on their phones.

Morty:

Rick adores Morty. He knows that he's lame for calling his grandson his best friend, but that's how he feels. Morty is also his gardening assistant.

Rick:

Morty thinks his Grandpa is super cool and feels like Rick is the only one that completely gets him. Rick started homeschooling Morty at some point.

As for friends,

Morty is friends with a few other Morties (lol) who don't live on the citadel. There is a Morticia, a plant Morty, and a couple others (this spot is open for anyone who wants their Morty to be friends with mine. It saves me from having to make more characters!)

Rick is only friends with the old ladies in his gardening club who think he is a lovely 'young' man. He doesn't have a BP or Squanchy.

Partners:

Morty V-024-E has a crush on Jessica V-024-E, but it has lessened since he started home school.

Rick V-024-E and Diane V-024-E divorced when Beth was between 7 and 9. Since then he has dated a few human women and a few aliens of assorted genders. He also had an *interesting* relationship with a Rick from a neighboring dimension.

"I wish you would've called me first," Leon sighed. His arms remained crossed while his gaze lingered on the stairs, having told his daughter moments ago to go to her room. He furrowed his brows, feeling some regret with his actions.

"I know I should've been forward about pulling her out of school for the day," Ada shook her head and approached Leon. She laid a hand upon his shoulder, giving a squeeze. It was enough to pull his attention away.

"I was in town and I thought Jade could use a break given everything going on. I didn't know I was supposed to notify the front office about picking her up from school. The fault in this case lies with me, not her. She wasn't skipping class on a whim."

Leon pinched the bridge of his nose as he felt Ada's hand retreat away. He closed his eyes and nodded. Rationally, he knew the situation wasn't Ada's fault either, but as a parent, Leon could still feel the tide of fear sinking in the pit of his stomach.

"I was scared out of my mind," Leon murmured. He leaned his back and head against the wall and swallowed. "When I got the call she was missing, and couldn't get a hold of you, I--"

"I understand," Ada interrupted gently. She did feel a twinge of guilt for lying to Leon about Jade skipping out of class, but she was committed to the part for the latter's sake. A promise was a promise after all.

"If there's anyway I can make amends, let me know."

Leon furrowed his brows, and looked toward his feet. "No, you really don't understand."

"Leon--"

"Ada," There was a firmness to his tone that Ada had only experienced a handful of times when they used to be in a relationship. It was enough to make Ada take a step back.

"Losing Kiera hasn't been easy for me. Even with how unhappy our relationship was and the divorce, I still loved her. If I were to lose my kid, especially while her mother's killer is out there, I don't know what I'd do. I know I seem like an overbearing dad, but--she's all I have left. Please don't leave me in the dark again with Jade. That's all I ask of you."

The pain in his words sent goosebumps down Ada's arms. Even if she had all the excuses in the world, there was no way she could've protested him. Not with how raw his emotions were in this moment. All she could do was nod in agreement.

"I won't overstep again," Ada said. She crossed her arms, gesturing with her chin toward the stairs. "You might want to talk with her. Let her know where you were coming from."

"I plan on it," Leon sighed while rubbing the back of his head. "I think she needs time to cool off though."

"I can tell you're beating yourself up."

"I'm that obvious?" Leon said with an amused huff. He shook his head. "I was a real asshole. I shouldn't have yelled at her like that."

"It's as you said," Ada shrugged. "You're protective of her. I wouldn't expect anything less from a father who loves his kid very much."

Ada was surprised to see the sincere smile that danced across Leon's lips. She watched him move away from the wall, and traveled into the kitchen. Raising a brow, she followed behind.

Leon began to comb through the fridge, looking for something to eat. Alas he sighed, deciding to give up on the chase. He turned his head in Ada's direction.

"About making amends," He mused, walking up to the kitchen counter and grabbing his keys. "Let's go out for dinner. We can bring something back for Jade."

Ada's eyes widened before she went neutral, giving a shake with her head. "I don't know if that's a good idea. What if Jade tries to sneak out?"

"C'mon," Leon gestured with his head to the door. "I need to get out of here, and I know you do too. There's a place not far from here, has the best take out."

"The best?" Ada raised a brow in suspicion, her voice playful.

"Would I lie to you?" Leon laughed.

Ada sighed, beside herself for a moment. She thought about her earlier conversation with Jade in the park. How the young teenager felt about seeing her dad and another woman together. Conflict stirred within Ada. She didn't want to get too deep. Not with everything going on. She couldn't allow herself to. Nevertheless, she was hungry and Leon's offer was starting to sound more appeasing with each passing second.

"No funny business," Ada forewarned.

Leon shot his hands up in surrender, the keys jangled in his right hand from the motion. "Cross my heart. I promise it'll be quick. Besides, I'm curious about what you uncovered today from Kiera's case files."

Ada furrowed her brows, recalling the research she had done earlier that morning. Though she hadn't found all the connections to Kiera's killer, there was other personal affairs that Kiera had done that had come fourth through Ada's digging.

"You might need to sit down for it."

"That bad, huh?"

Ada was surprised at how Leon was nonchalant. As if he couldn't be bothered. She wondered if he was already aware of most of it. He went to the door, and opened it up. Gesturing with his right hand.

"After you."
