here's the second crack-prompt-turned-whatever fic.
Screenshot of the ask at the end so that you can have fun trying to guess what the original prompt was.
Word count: 769 Warnings: nothing, it's just uuh...
Three hours.
They had been staring at the engraving on the pillar for exactly three hours and counting
At first, it was entertaining to see every boy try to solve the puzzle in their own way. They came up with explanations of how it looked like something they had seen and done before, repeating what they had done before, just to be met with nothing. Not a single mechanism activating nor even a tiny rock moving out of the way.
He never thought that it would ever come in handy in a situation like this. But here he was, probably kilometres below the ground, trapped in a cave system that seemed endless, and with a group full of youngsters who apparently had never attended a normal celebration once in their lives.
Sky had suggested lightning the torches in the room one by one in cardinal order.
Twilight had supported that and when nothing happened, he proposed putting them out with the Gale boomerang counterclockwise.
That didn’t work.
Legend had looked at the sequence again: right, left, right up, left up.
The torches in the room didn’t work, which had left the 5 rays of dim light coming through the top.
Legend tried to block and unblock them in order. Nothing happened.
Wind and Four had suggested pushing the pillar so that it would be aligned with the one on the other side of the room. Nothing happened. Maybe they had to move the other pillar instead.
It had been fun while it lasted. But now, three hours and fifteen minutes in, Time had grown impatient. So without any word, he just walked towards the pillar, opening his way through the crowd. He stopped the Veteran from throwing a punch at the Captain, his patience having grown inexistent. Though he must admit, he would have done the same, the Captain’s suggestion to solve this little riddle was plainly idiotic.
He stood in front of the pillar, examined it once more, just to make sure his assumption was right. And it was; the sequence was clear, as clear as the worn-down rock showed it, but clear nonetheless. If anything, he could only spot one minor difference from the version he knew. No worries, he could easily adapt to it; it was a good thing then that he wasn’t as pressed about accuracy as Malon, as he was sure that not following would not only be a waste of time, but also extremely embarrassing for him if it didn’t work at all.
He had to focus and put on his best poker face. He put his right hand out, then the left one. Now with both arms stretched in front of him, he turned his right palm up, followed by the other.
Confusion settled in the room, but Time hadn’t tried anything yet and everyone was curious to see what would happen, so they let him do whatever that was.
He crossed his right hand on his left shoulder and repeated the same movement with his left hand. He brought his right hand to the back of his head, his left hand mirroring the other once more. One by one, he put each hand on the side of his hips
“What the fuck is going on,” he heard one of the boys say, probably Legend, just proving how uncultured they really were.
“Some sort of… spell? Dance?” Hyrule tried to explain, “it’s hard to tell by how dead he looks."
But he did not let such comments stop him. He was confident in his moves and that in no time they’d be out of that place.
Finally, he moved his hands to the back of his hips, rocked his hips from side to side in a quick motion and on the last sway, he hopped and jumped 180° degrees, finally facing the group of heroes in varying states of shock.
The room was completely silent for a few seconds and seeing that nothing happened, shame was starting to slowly colour the tips of ears. However, he did not let it show on his face; he kept a straight look. Then, a clicking sound reverberated through the chamber. On the far end to the right, a passageway opened.
He only cocked his head chin towards the new entrance , commanding the boys to follow after him.
“What the fuck was that?! Why did it work?!” Legend shouted at him.
Time shrugged and turned to inspect the tunnel, “whoever designed this had a sense of humour.” He simply said as he crouched down, “anyway, looks like this gets smaller the further it goes. Sailor, Smithy. You two go first and get back to us on how to proceed.”

fruits basket - 2.09 lb
This one’s a tearjerker apparently. I’m not ready sjfsjfjsfsfj. I’ve got tissues handy!
Starting right out with Tohru calling for Kyo? Holy shit.
“Since when did my name have a special ring to it only when you said it?” WHAT THE FUCK WHAT WHSFJSJFSJF
“And if it made you smile, I’d do something over and over again for you.” GUYS THE WAY IM HOLLERING
“Since when did I...” oh my god he’s gonna REALIZE IT. HE’S GONNA REALIZE HE’S IN LOVE WITH HER. HELP. THIS IS THE EP WHERE HE REALIZES. OMG I DIDN’T EXPECT IT TO BE THIS SOONS FJSFJSJF
“I’ll be taking him today.” NO PLEASE DON’T PLEASE
“Wow, you’re both in sync~” Shigure wins a point for that line.
Oh my god Thoru is SO happy for Kyo because she thinks it’s a good thing, honey nooo. Akito is gonna torment him and I can’t handle it.
THAT LITTLE HEAD BUMP WAS THE CUTEST THING I’VE EVER SEEN. AND THAT SMILE AFTER. WHAT. HE’S NOT EVEN HIDING IT ANYMORE.
“So you’re kind only to Tohru.” SJFSJ PRETTY MUCH
“She’s... Tohru’s all alone again.” IMDGDGJ
“It’s not like we can defy Akito’s orders.” Okay, but WHY, though? I have an idea. A very terrifying idea. It’s the only thing I can think of, but I don’t want to voice it because it’s way too insane. But it makes so much sense. Akito has a God-complex, sure, we know that. But what if he’s actually the Zodiac God...? It would explain so much, like why no one can defy him or speak out against him.
Whoa! Kyo’s getting much better at restraining himself! I’m proud.
I want him to beat Akito’s ass but like.... I also know he can’t do that. It would make it bad for Tohru or someone else.
Oh here we go.
Help, I’m not ready for this encounter. I know I said before that I wanted them to meet but I take it back. I want Kyo to turn around and run.
DON’T CALL HIM A MONSTER SJFSJJSF
Tohru is just so happy for Kyo and I can’t handle it. She doesn’t know what it means to be summoned. :(
Bet? What bet? What’s impossible?
OH. OH.
This is why he’s so adamant about beating Yuki! He made a bet with Akito, and he’d be accepted into the zodiac and not called a monster anymore.
“But if you can’t win, I’ll lock you up until you die.” WHAT. WHAT. WHAT. NO. NOPE. NOPE. FUCK YOU. FUCK YOUUUUUU.
HIS LITERAL FREEDOM IS ON THE LINE. I CAN’T....
That’s right, Kyo, say it! There’s still time until graduation? Like a year, I think? You can’t just call it.
DID HE - DID THIS MOTHER FUCKER JUST HIT KYO IN THE FACE WITH THE BELL? IM
“Why are you so deluded?” oh god SHUT THE FUCK UP.
this music
oh my god im scared
“Remember that you’re a monster. And because you’re a monster, your mother is dead.” hOW DARE YOU.
I can’t watch this. omg. Akito’s literally starting his abusive, gaslighting shit and breaking Kyo down. Right from the get go. I’ve never seen Kyo look so terrified!
And this symbolism holy shit. The binds wrapping around both of them, linking them to each other, like a twisted chain.
I might hate Kyo’s father the most out of anyone on this show, although he and Aktio are currently rivaling for that spot at the moment. How fucking cruel. How awful, how twisted, do you have to be to tell a child that? To blame a little boy for his mother’s death?
HEY FUCKER LET GO OF HIM ALREADY.
“You should’ve died.” IM ABOUT TO THROW DOWN
Thanks. Thanks a lot, you broke him.
“Is Tohru Honda the one who’s been encouraging these delusions?” AND IF SHE IS? FUCK OFF. SO WHAT.
And now Tohru’s a monster too? I cannot believe
“You don’t know anything.” GO OFF MY SON
“You don’t know how scared she was.”
“Even so, she didn’t run away from me. She - She held my hand!” HE SAYS THIS AS AKITO TELLS HIM TO SHUT UP ROFL YOU FUCKING BITCH YOU CAN’T EVEN HANDLE THE TRUTH CAN YOU. What a child!
“She knew that if she let go of my hand, I would never return. That I might never return to anybody. She didn’t take up all of my pain. She didn’t fill in all of the brokenness. But those... those weren’t important. The most important thing... was that she stayed with me. Finding joy in the smallest things, being happy and smiling so cheerfully. Why? She should think of herself more. Doesn’t she think she’s getting the short end of the stick? She thinks that she’s stupid, or that there’s nothing good about her.” OKAY IM SOBBING SJFJSFJSJSF
The traveler’s story!!!
“I love you. I love you so much. Just as you are.” JSFJSFJSJFSF I CANNOT IM CRYING SFJSFJSFJFS ;A; HE ADMITS IT. HE KNOWS NOW.
Kyo’s crying ;a;
SHUT UP ASSHOLE
“Don’t tell me that you’re in love with Tohru Honda?” FUCK. I MEAN YES, HE IS! BUT SHIT THAT AKITO FIGURED IT OUT.
I want to smack this fucking jackass SO HARD.
BITCH
IF YOU HIT KYO AGAIN IM GONNA
YES STOP HIM KYO
“You’re crazy.” YES YES YES YES
oh my god what is Akito using her for
“Do you think you have the right to fall in love with someone? You think that’s allowed?!” HOLY SHIT THIS IS SO ABUSIVE
“I won’t forgive you...” what was that voice just now?! what?!
oh my god. He has to lie. He has to give up on any chance of being with her... Akito’s successfully broken him down.
I’m literally crying so much.
“I’ll come visit you when you’re in confinement.” GET YOUR HANDS OFF OF HIM RIGHT NOW. I’M SO UPSET.
I’m gonna be sick.
Actually washing his hands because touching Kyo disgusted him. I’m. so. pissed. off.
YUKI KNOWS KYO DOESN’T HATE HER! He protected Kyo (and Tohru) indirectly and I love my boy so much for that.
Kyo, baby. I’m so sorry. Don’t let this abusive asshole get to you. You deserve all the love and happiness in the world.
Omg he went to look for Tohru but she’s not there. :(
“Why do I still look for her?” Because you love her and you need her right now and Akito can kiss my ass.
OMG THIS FLASHBACK WITH KAZUMA! THIS IS THE ONE THAT WAS HINTED AT LAST EPISODE!”
THIS MUSIC SKFSKFKS
“Even so, you’re alive because you haven’t given up hope yet. It’s because you know that not every soul in this world has rejected you.” YES YES
“Even if you don’t have a glimmer of hope now, it will surely come again. However many times you resist or trample it, however many times you’re thrown into despair, hope will come again just as many times. Repeatedly, again and again, it will bloom.” IM SOBBING THAT WAS BEAUTIFUL. KAZUMA IS JUST THE BEST.
YES, Kyo! Go run to find your girl! <3
OH MY GOD THIS FLASHBACK. KYO AND KYOKO I KNEW IT KNEW KNE HE KNEW HER HE KNEW HER!
“A man’s promise.” “I couldn’t keep it.” OH? WHAT’S THIS?! WHAT?!
“But she bloomed before me.” WHAT IS THIS ROMANTIC BULLSHIT IM HSKFSFK
“She continued to bloom. A small.... small flower.” HE SAW LITTLE TOHRU TOO I CANT HANDLE THIS
SHE’S HIS FLOWER YA’LL WHAT THE FUCK IM DYING IM CRYING IM SFKSFKSFK
He found her!
“Precious... my precious.... Tohru!” HOLY SHIT.
I’m gone guys.
I’m just gone.
She noticed he’s hurt!!!
He... he doesn’t even care anymore. He doesn’t care about fighting to resist confinement. Or being accepted. Or not being called monster. He only cares that she’s here, with him. Oh god im crying so much this is OTP levels of love and I cant.
HER SMILE!!! HIS SMILE!!! IM DEAD
“I love you. I don’t want to take anything else from you. I don’t want to trample you ever again. At some point, I hoped we could always be together somewhere far off. But I won’t hope that anymore. I won’t hope that I could make you my own anymore. I won’t hope that, so please... at least.. at least be by my side, for the time I have left.” -high pitched sobbing-
HE GENTLY STOPPED HER FROM FALLINGSFSFKSFKSF
“Sheesh, what am I going to do with you?” SND G HE OTOK HER HAND LSFSF
“I want to be with you. Until we’re separated far apart. Until the very last moment.”
I...
I have no words.
I’m a blurry mess of tears and I’m shaking. This was so monumentally beautiful, everything I hoped Kyo’s realization for his love for Tohru would be. I physically cannot handle it. They are so perfect. Kyo just wants to be with her for the remaining time he has left. He has no future. He just wants her. That is the most heartbreaking thing. I hate Akito SO fucking much right now.
This might just be my new favorite episode. Wow.
I need a break before I watch ep 10.

Please talk more about Hajime x Mutsuki! :)
What would you like me to say??? I think they’re super cute and deserve more love as a couple! They are also ridiculously handsome both of them and would look like the cover of a BL Novel. However I think if anyone tried to even SUGGEST their relationship was something to be fetishised in the way BL often is (#NotAllBoyLove) they’d shout you down.
I think they fall perfectly into that “Childhood friends to lovers” trope; in that they spent summer holidays together and went to family gatherings, but they didn’t actually become CLOSE until High School. Heck! Until they started LIVING together! Because “Oh my GOD and they were ROOMMATES!”
Which is also kinda funny because that’s exactly what happened with Hajime’s parents! Ahhhh, full circle aye?
I imagine they keep their relationship on the down-low at school. They’re not exactly keeping it a secret, but it’s not public knowledge either? All the Sohma kids know about it though, and the rest of the Student Council too =)
I think Kyo and Yuki would be kinda freaked out a bit at first simply because of the whole “Wait HIS kid is dating MY kid?!” element but they’d calm down pretty quickly and be supportive of them. If very awkward. Tohru probably cried. Machi probably laughed at Yuki being so freaked out before showing her son her full support by finding ways to tease him too! Lovingly though, stuff like “It must be so nice being on the Student Council with your boyfriend! Just like I was. Trust me, the keys to the store cupboard are going to come in VERY handy!” or just constantly asking questions about their relationship like “Oooooh! You’re going to the beach house? Will HAJIME-kun be joining you?”
Mutsuki would still tell her everything though, and when some sort of new development happens she’d be the first to know!
Kakeru is also over the moon that Mustuki and Hajime are dating, not just because they are obviously perfect for each other given how balanced their realtionship is... but also because of all the teasing opportunities available! Not JUST for his nephew, but also with Kyo and Yuki! Stuff like seeing them holding hands and kissing each other on the cheek, and then going “They look so much like their fathers, I don’t even have to use my imagination anymore to think about what you two would look like in a relationship!”
When Hajime goes to University, Mutsuki is always calling and skyping him; but he’s a quiet guy so nobody really guesses he has a boyfriend until on day Mustuki shows up and gives him a big ol’ kiss in front of everyone! I think maybe Hajime would end up creating a nice little LGBTQ+ Book Group at Uni (I assume these are things in Japanese Unis too!) so he can make more Queer Friends and everyone is kind of shocked when they find out his boyfriend is just a ball of chaos. I don’t know what their specific identities are, but I just know that they quickly transitioned from “Awkward New Couple” to “Been Married for Five Years” without anyone really noticing!
Mutsuki’s favourite hobby is finding new ways to make Hajime blush in public. He likes making him all flustered and it’s something he has subconsciously picked up from his Dad. In the same way, I imagine that Hajime’s love language comes back to food! He might grumble about always having to cook because Mutsuki sucks at it, he does love being able to provide for his boyfriend.

Kyoya's second shot
Episode five: Kyoya's willing day out, part one!
Sorry for the wait lads.
Kyoya got up early the next morning, it took everything he had to drag himself out of bed, having to actually sike himself up for it. He had showered and gotten dry and brushed his hair by the time the maids brought him his breakfast, not that it mattered much, he was completely ignoring it as he knelt by his drawers, looking through his clothes and cursing his own terrible fashion sense, Tamaki wouldn't think any of this looked good!
Fiyumi walked in on her baby brother laying face down in a pile of clothes, completely silent. "Kyoya..?" She hesitantly approached, putting her makeup bag down on the table, sparing a glance to the uneaten food.
"None of this looks good…" he mumbles, still face down in the clothes, Fiyumi knelt down next to him, putting a hand on his back.
"Hey, it's ok. Try not to think about what other people would like and just focus on what you feel looks cute, ok?"
Kyoya slowly nodded, sitting up and looking at her, "so… what do I do first?"
Fiyumi chuckled at that, standing up and stretching, "well first off, where are you going?"
"Hmm, well we're going to this commoner shop and then we might take a walk around… just some commoner place, it's nowhere important…"
His sister nodded at that, confident and optimistic as always, "alright! Well since it's a nice day out, let's grab one of your sleeveless tops, what colour do you want?"
"No." Kyoya almost panicked, tightening his bathrobe around himself, "why not just a thin turtleneck?" He was kicking himself for reacting like that, now Fiyumi was looking at him in suspicion. She sighs, holding out her hand, frowning.
"Show me your arm." It wasn't a question, more of a demand, Kyoya was instantly on the defensive, wrapping his arms around him. Fiyumi wasn't one to drop this kind of topic, still holding out her hand, "do I need to count to three? Don't make me count to three." Still using tricks that worked on him when he was a toddler- and of course they still worked, he wasn't about to disappoint his sister even further.
He sighed heavily, putting his arm in her hand hesitantly. Kyoya was incredibly nervous as she pulled back his sleeve and stared down at the scars there, Fiyumi had always been the most caring of the siblings, and the only one who actually knew about Kyoya's scars. So when she traced her fingers gently over his scars, he suddenly felt like tearing up, he knew how sad it made her, he never wanted to make her sad… he felt so selfish all of a sudden, he hadn't thought about her at all.
She looked up at Kyoya, the pain clear in her eyes, "oh Kyoya… I'm so sorry, I noticed you were spiralling, I didn't think you'd go this far again…" she pulled him into a warm hug, stroking his hair softly. "I'm so sorry I let this happen to you, I should have checked on you more…"
Kyoya leant into her touch, feeling like a child again, being comforted by his big sister after a nightmare of a particularly nasty tantrum. He sighs and just lets her comfort him, he hates to upset her, but he also knows that if he tries to apologize then she'd be even sadder, so he just stays silent. She gave him a soft kiss on the top of his head, looking down at him sadly, "I'm going to check your arms again when you get home, ok? You make sure you keep them clean, do you want to bandage them up so the sleeves don't rub?"
Kyoya nodded as she got up to grab the first aid kit, he had woken up this morning, quite excited for his day out, and now he only had an hour to prepare and the only thing his sister cared about was his dumb fucking scars. Got up and sat on the sofa, running his own fingers along the scars, he didn't see the big deal, it wasn't like he was hurting anyone but himself… he sighed, pulling his sleeves back down, it upset him to look at them for some strange reason. He checked his phone, Tamaki had texted him…
{Tamaki}: Good morning Kyoya 🤍
How are you doing this morning?
Excited for today? I am!
I don't know if you're awake yet, but I hope you're having a great morning!
Seeing those messages cheered Kyoya right up, he couldn't help but to smile at Tamaki's liberal use of a heart. He was like an over excited labrador puppy and Kyoya was the cat sitting on the wall just out of reach, it wouldn't be as fun for the king once he had him, but teasing and toying was innocent enough, at least for Tamaki- Kyoya was always the one to go the extra mile, surprisingly enough. He glanced over, seeing Fiyumi had noticed the unsorted laundry pile in the corner and begun to sort through it. He had time to reply.
✍️Mommy dearest (Kyoya) 💜: I'm getting ready now, Fiyumi came over so it's a little slower than usual.
{Tamaki}: Oh I love Fiyumi! Tell her I said hi!
✍️Mommy dearest (Kyoya) 💜: Will do.
He glanced over at Fiyumi, sighing, "Tamaki told me to say hello."
"Oh!" She smiles, hurting over with the bandages and a lilac turtleneck, "oh Tamaki is a sweetheart isn't he? Such a sweet guy, you couldn't do any better." She begins to wrap his arms up as he sighs.
"We're not dating… he's just overly friendly." He watched her tie the bandages up, he hadn't told her that Tamaki was actually dating Haruhi yet, he didn't think he ever would- she definitely wouldn't approve. "I will be trying to make advances however."
Fiyumi smiled at that, chuckling, "you couldn't make an advance if you were ordered to." She smiled softly, finishing up one arm and starting on the other, "if anything, he'll be the one making the advances."
"He wouldn't do that…" Kyoya sighed, knowing damn well he'd have to make all the advances, as Tamaki was a taken man. He didn't mind, he needed to learn how to talk to hot guys at some point in life- and who better to start on then the man he wanted to spend his entire life with?
"He absolutely would, I've never seen anyone go gooey-eyed like that for a friend." Fiyumi finished the second arm, smiling softly and holding up the turtleneck, "how about this? I think it looks nice, lighter colours look better on you then you think."
Kyoya paused, his sister had nothing but faith in him, she saw the best in him… he shook the thoughts from his mind, smiling and nodding, "alright then, what do you think would go with it?"
"Hmm, maybe your chords? The black ones, and maybe a nice grey cardigan? Do you have any?"
"Yeah I think I've got an oversized one…" Kyoya began, nodding, "but I really think we should start on the makeu-"
"Makeup comes last Kyoya, don't you know that?" She chuckles, going and grabbing the clothes, tossing them at him, "get dressed first." He sighed at that, knowing better than to question the order in which Fiyumi does things, just doing as he's told and getting up to change in the bathroom.
When he finished, leaving the bathroom to see Fiyumi getting her makeup out and setting it out on the coffee table, she glanced over, gasping. "Aww! You look adorable Kyo! There's no way he won't fall for you like that!"
Kyoya smiled softly at that, buttoning his cardigan up and going over to sit on the sofa. "You think so? It's a lot softer than my usual style…"
Fiyumi had to laugh at that, picking out the ride shade of foundation, "you don't have a style, you literally just throw on whatever's weather appropriate." She was right to be fair, and Kyoya simply shrugged in response. "Now I want to know what your thoughts are on fake freckles."
"Fake freckles? Why would I want that, he knows I don't have freckles, that would just be ridiculous." Kyoya was confused why she would even suggest that, it sounds completely alien to him. But Fiyumi just chuckled at that, mocking him, Kyoya had to frown- wondering if he'd missed something, "what?"
"They're not supposed to look realistic, like purple or white ones, shiny glittery ones! They're supposed to look cute!" She pauses, "maybe that's a little much for you though, you're not quite as extra as that… oh! Maybe some iridescent powder under the eyes, that'd work, hmm…" she trails off, focusing on the foundation.
By the time she was finished, Kyoya only had only five minutes until he was supposed to meet up with Tamaki. Fiyumi held a hand mirror up for Kyoya, letting her little brother examine her handy work. There was a purple shimmer around his eyes, with the sharpest eyeliner he'd ever seen, Fiyumi had given him fake eyelashes, that faded into white. His lips were a soft lavender, and Kyoya had to say he'd never seen such a unnatural colour blush, but it did look really cute… almost fairy-like in a sense. Kyoya genuinely didn't think he could look that feminine, that soft... Tamaki liked soft, Tamaki liked girly, Kyoya knew that, he began to wonder if Fiyumi knew that too. "I… it's very nice, thank you Fiyumi."
Fiyumi smiled, glancing up towards the door, she stood up and packed her things up, "you're welcome, I'll get out of your hair now, have fun on your day out." She patted Kyoya on the shoulder gently, leaving the room. Kyoya slowly stood, turning to watch her leave- he froze when he realised she wasn't the only one in the doorway.
Tamaki had come early it seemed, and was standing there in the doorway, cheeks red and eyes wide. Kyoya instantly felt nervous, so glad the makeup didn't betray the warmth of his own face, he began to wonder how long Tamaki had been standing there… "woah… I didn't even know you could look like that, you look so pretty Kyoya!" Tamaki chuckled happily, dancing over towards Kyoya, luckily not noticing how his breath hitched when Tamaki spoke those words. Was he really pretty..? "You look like a fairy, mon ami! Or like, a siren or some kind of magical boy!" The prince smiled sweetly, putting a hand on Kyoya's arm, tilting his head slightly, "we should get Fiyumi to do some of Haruhi's makeup some time."
Oh, now that's promising… Tamaki was comparing Kyoya to Haruhi, and if Kyoya heard that correctly, Kyoya was the favourable option. He smiled softly, nodding, "I'm sure they'd get along. Now," he unbuttoned his cardigan and grabbed his bag, "shall we head out?"
In the town, it was a lovely clear day and Kyoya wouldn't help but admire how Tamaki's hair reflected the light, he looked like an angel… he noticed how Tamaki kept glancing to him as well, he wondered if he was admiring the makeup, Fiyumi had done an excellent job. They walked slowly through the town, mostly because Tamaki wanted to stop every five seconds to look at the commoner products, Kyoya had to admit it was endearing- plus he was also a little interested to see how the other side lived.
They entered the shop they were here for, finally, Kyoya noticed how small it was, but it had lots of snacks and treats on display, it had a wonderful rustic… homely feel, the soft music and smell of baking bread, making Kyoya feel nostalgic for a place he'd never been, it was straight out of a storybook, and it didn't help that the prince was right by his side as they entered. It was Tamaki who made his way to the counter, smiling at the poor cashier who was- as per Tamaki's usual aura, completely smitten from the moment she saw him. "Hello, we're looking to order six Of your customisable food platters? Would that be possible?"
The girl nodded, bright red and Kyoya couldn't blame her. "Oh! Of course, we'd have to order it though, you're welcome to take a look around and make a list of things you want in your platters, uh, do you need paper?"
"Kyoya?" Tamaki glanced back at him, smiling, "can we use a page from your book?" Kyoya nods in response, clicking his pen on as he opened the book, realising that he hadn't written a single thing this morning, huh.
10:15 - Fiyumi helped with my makeup this morning, I am currently out with Tamaki. He has already compared me to Haruhi, a good sign. We are currently ordering the platters.
He turned the page as Tamaki beamed, going and dancing among the tightly packed isles, "who first? We gotta save ourselves for last obviously- oh! Let's start with Haruhi!" He chuckled as Kyoya sighed, he'd forgotten how they'd be focusing on the other hosts today.
Haruhi's food platter:
• Watermelon snacks (commoners love those.)
• Milk chocolate buttons
• Apple slices
• Fruit gummies (commoners seem to love fruit imitations)
• Oatmeal cookies
Mori's food platter:
• Green tea flavoured treats
• Salt and pepper crackers (savoury treats are more his speed)
• Spicy peanuts (a contrast to the sweetness of honey's platter)
• Grape hard candy
• Chocolate and hazelnut spread
Honey's food platter:
• Syrup wafers
• Mini cupcakes (even though cupcakes are already miniature cakes)
• White chocolate chips
• Pink chocolate (I have no idea how the commoners managed this, neither does Tamaki.)
• Strawberry gummies shaped like rabbits
The twins food platter (extra large):
• Nerds (strange little rainbow candies, Tamaki thought the name was funny)
• Pocky
• Bubblegum
• Orange chocolate (not in colour, in flavour only)
• Popping candy (I fear this candy may be too violent for the guests, but Tamaki seems to think the twins at least would love it)
• Candied orange slices
After deciding on the twins platter, Tamaki gasped, "ooh! Can we do mine next?" Kyoya wasn't exactly one to say no to him, though he was a little upset he'd been forgotten until last.
"Of course, what would you like?"

Now post-curse Shigure/Akito drabble please? c:
Here you go anon UwU
A Walk in a Park
Post curse Shigure x Akiko
She’d been isolated for so long, that Shigure wanted to show Akito more of the world that she’s been hidden from all these years. The going had been slow at times, three steps forward, one step back, but those steps back were becoming fewer or far between. He had the patience to see it through, hell he’d waited twenty years, what’s a few more? So, he started off small. Day trips to neighboring towns. Small festivals or even the movie theaters to help her become accustomed to larger groups of strangers.
It was a genuine surprise to him one day, when Akito came into his office with a brochure.
“Look,” she showed him with a genuine smile, pointing to the picture, “Osaka Castle is so beautiful, it would be nice to see it in person.”
He turns and looks first at the brochure then up to Akito. “If that is what you want, I will make it happen.” Shigure takes her hand. “Shall we stay a few days and see more of Osaka’s sights as well?”
Akito blushes and nods her head.
“Then I will make the arrangements,” he kisses the back of her hand. “Cherry blossom season is right around the corner, that should make for an even better visit.”
The way her eyes lit up at the word cherry blossom made Shigure’s heart melt. It was nice seeing these more feminine attributes coming through on Akito. He chuckles in his head. She made for a much more beautiful raven-haired goddess than a surly and stressed out male. All those years of waiting for moments like this one were well worth it.
It took them just under two hours to reach the Chuo Ward of Osaka by car. Shigure drives them straight to the Dormy Inn Namba where he’s booked a room with a private onsen. Nothing was too good for his woman’s first trip to a big city and he plans to make the most out of it. Akito was a little nervous about the amount of people she was seeing everywhere they passed, but Shigure just smiled and held her hand to comfort and assure her it would be okay.
First thing was a visit to the castle where its sheer magnificence made Akito’s fears fade away. Walking along the bridge that spanned the moat, the castle appeared to rise high above the city atop its stone platform and surrounded by an imposing stone wall. It’s gleaming white walls, golden trim, and green tiled roof was like seeing Heaven shining down upon their lowly presence.
As they pass under the trees, a wind blows gently, loosening a few of the blossoms. Akito gasps, almost giggling, reaching out to try and catch one. Shigure chuckles at the sight of a grown woman acting like a child. He picks up one of the fallen cherry blossoms and places it in her ear. “There,” he smiles, “a pretty flower, for a beautiful woman.”
“Always the smooth talker,” she blushes, “but thank you.”
For the next couple of days, they visit other little places around the city. Sometimes they just walk around, touring shopping districts or eateries. Akito was excited to find something cute that she was sure Tohru would love. She didn’t get to see the girl much, now that her and Kyo had moved away to another city, but they spoke often by phone and came back to visit every few months. Now she would have a gift to give. Shigure had found it amusing though. Really, he had asked Akito, an ‘I love cats’ t-shirt that had, of all the types, an orange tabby on it. But even he couldn’t deny that Tohru would probably find it adorable.
This is where having the private onsen sure came in handy. All the walking would leave Shigure, but more so Akito with sore feet from not being used to doing so much of it back home. Besides, it was nice to have an excuse to hold and cuddle with her. The soothing heat of the water fading their aches and pains away while warming up their desires for one another. Their first trysts had been a little awkward, but over time, Akito had come to enjoy them. Shigure for his part was very gentle with her and very attentive to her needs. A stark contrast from the perverse nature he’d often portray to others.
On their final afternoon in Osaka, Shigure takes Akito to the Tennoji Zoo a few blocks away from the hotel. He thought that seeing all the exotic animals might be exciting to see, he knew he was. The last time he’d had to really deal with ‘wild’ creatures, was when Kyo and Yuki were living in his home and fighting all the time. At first Akito seemed to enjoy the zoo too. It was a very large park filled with many animals of both land and sea. Huge enclosures with amazing flora and landscapes as well.
But the longer they walked, Shigure begun to notice a shift in Akito’s demeanor. Once thrilled she was now a little distraught.
He finally pulls her aside. “What’s wrong Akito?” At first, she just shakes her head, not wanting to answer, but he prompts again and pulls her into an embrace. Shigure strokes her hair. “Please tell me what is bothering you.”
“I feel bad for them,” she whispers. “All these animals are locked up and forced to live in cages almost like you all had to.”
Wow, he hadn’t even made such a connection and yet obviously this was deeply affecting her. Unlike all of the others including Akito, Shigure had never truly felt like a prisoner to the curse. But as he thought about it more, he could understand how she made the correlation. Guilt over being the God who’d kept them trapped and confined to the Sohma legacy just like these poor animals was eating away at Akito.
“Akito, I want you to listen to me.” He holds her gaze. Even when she tries to turn away, Shigure tilts her chin back to face him. “It wasn’t all your fault. You were doing what had been drilled into your head since you were an infant. We all believed in the bond, that’s not something you created, just got stuck dealing with.”
“But it is my fault, I could have done better,” the tears trickle down. “I could have treated everyone better. I-I was so mean to everyone and forced you all to stay by my side even when I knew in my heart you were miserable.”
Shigure sighs and wipes away her tears. “Akito, my love, you were young and just wanted to be loved. That’s not a crime. These animals, they don’t hate their circumstances. I mean look,” he gestures to a lazily yawning monkey, “they’re fed, housed, no need to worry about predators. Think of it like a life-long hotel stay where they are pampered for the rest of their lives.”
She looks at the monkey, “I see your point…”
“And another thing. You aren’t that same person anymore. You’ll never be that lonely girl anymore because as far as I’m concerned, you’ll be the one in a life-long hotel stay being pampered for the rest of your life.”
Akito sniffles and gives him a half smile. “Thank you, Shigure, for being so kind to me.”
He kisses her forehead and smiles back, “the honor is all mine, my dearest one. Now I say, let’s go home…”

First Night Back in Fuuga Ch 33: Preparing for What’s Coming
AO3 Link to Chapter 33
Summary: Friends arrive to help Yona and Hak transition into everything new
Knock Knock Knock -- the sweet rhythm gives itself away.
The entire room looks toward the door, hearts lifted, as Yun approaches to open it. And when he does--
Yona bursts onto him with a hug and cheery face, “You’re here!”
Catching his balance, Yun smiles as he lifts his arms to hug her back, “It’s surprising, alright, but… here we are. Our own room in the palace.”
Yona glances across at Jae-Ha, Shin-Ah, and Ao beaming at her.
“I can’t wait to show you everything! This was my home for most of my life. My whole world.”
“Then I can’t wait to see it,” Jae-Ha coos as he approaches, “Your Majesty.”
“Oh Jae-Ha…” Yona blushes, “You don’t need to address me like that.”
“You know how I adore powerful women,” he lifts her hand to his lips for a gentle peck.
Yona’s eyes go wide. Powerful? Sure, maybe that’s true… but it’s still so weird to hear. Less than a year before she’d been at her most powerless. A painful point of reference she’ll carry with her always.
Yona glances down toward Jae-Ha’s abs, where he’d been hurt in battle, “How are you feeling?”
“Don’t worry, Dear. I may not be Zeno, but we dragons heal quickly,” Jae-Ha looks up out the door and far in the distance sees Hak leaning against a wall, watching.
As Ao bounds onto Yona and she with a giggle rushes to Shin-Ah, Jae-Ha slips out the door with a simple “be right back” to Yun.
A few strides later, Jae-Ha arrives at Hak.
“You’re an impressive man, Hak, but I think you’d have to actually split in two to be both the king and her bodyguard. Unless you tied her up and took her with you everywhere."
Both men look at each other considering, then smile at how impossible that would be with Yona.
Hak looks longingly toward the door that has her within, “I knew what I was getting into when I married her. I didn’t know what I was getting into when we got her back here.”
“King.”
“Don’t remind me.”
Jae-Ha would normally bug him further, but he can tell this concept is actually bothering Hak, so instead--
“You know, there are a couple handy dragons around… sworn to protect her, specials powers, and all that. You can trust us. Not to mention some warrior seems to have taught her how to fight for herself.”
Hak looks back to Jae-Ha, “Yeah, I know. I trust you all. I just don’t trust this place. Not yet. There’re some things I need to take care of."
"I have no doubt," Jae-Ha's just waiting for the ask.
"Mundok should be arriving today. Keep an eye on her till then?”
“Of course,” Jae-Ha had already planned on it.
Hak takes one last glance at the door, then heads in another direction.
While Yun checks on Min-Soo and Shin-Ah hunts for a stash of nuts for Ao, Yona walks with Jae-Ha in one of the palace's elaborate flower gardens to find privacy.
“Here!” at last Yona finds the fountain she was looking for, a little trickle of water to further mask the sound of their voices. She sits and Jae-Ha joins at her side.
“Oh!” Jae-Ha gasps when Yona throws her arms around his shoulders in a hug.
“I’m sorry,” she pulls back and looks up at him teary-eyed, “Finally we can talk -- I’m just so relieved you’re OK. Jae-Ha… back at Kai.”
“I thought you’d be mad at me.”
“Furious,” Yona admits, “You pinned me down!”
Jae-Ha looks so very sorry.
Yona looks ahead, determined, “But thank you: you were right. If I had started things over that way, I would be no better than Soo-Won. That’s not how I want to live my life.”
Jae-Ha looks out over the water, “You’re a hard master to follow. And the most easily admirable.”
“You know I’m not your master. And you could have died! Jae-Ha, you mean the world to me. Don’t think that wouldn’t have affected me as deeply. Please, be selfish -- protect yourself.”
“I was.”
Yona watches him a moment, not entirely grasping his meaning. But on his countenance… well, the meaning must be deep.
“Zeno aside… dragon lives are short.”
“Jae-Ha...”
“It’s a reality we’re always aware of. Yona, since meeting you… it’s the first time in my life I felt whole. And not just OK with this life… thankful. That’s why, if someone needs to sacrifice himself for you -- I want it to be me.”
“Jae-Ha, why are you…?”
He smiles softly down to her, “Hak.”
And suddenly Yona understands… if things had been different and it hadn’t been Jae-Ha that day, it would’ve most certainly been Hak. If he’d had his way. ...as always, Jae-Ha wasn’t just protecting her.
“He’s the most resilient man I’ve ever seen. I think he might live forever. And he has good reason to.”
Yona blushes a little and looks down at her shoes… “Can I tell you a secret?”
“Of course.”
Still looking down, “He may have another good reason on the way.”
When Yona braves peeking up at Jae-Ha, his returning smile reaches the bottom of her heart.
On she and Jae-Ha’s way back, Yona spots Mundok with Tae-Woo at the other end of the main courtyard. She starts running.
Mundok turns to see a blur of crimson, pink, and amethyst headed his way. He opens his arms wide. When he bends down, he pulls her into a grand hug -- incredible relief etched across his face.
Mundok, fully aglow, looks up at Jae-Ha approaching from the same direction the princess came as he sets her down. With a quick glance around, “The boy left your side?!”
“He’ll be so happy to see you.”
That touches Mundok, “I’m glad to hear you’re both OK. I heard about the battle. Terrible.”
Yona nods, “It was a miracle we survived."
Then Mundok remembers something, “I’m gonna have to kill him."
Tae-Woo has a hand to his face in defeat. Jae-Ha is thoroughly amused.
Yona is shocked, “Why?!”
“He let you get carried off by Soo-Won from the center of battle!”
“He’d just taken down the enemy leader!” Tae-Woo tries to clarify.
“He’d better have!”
“He’d almost taken down Soo-Won--”
“--had he, the princess wouldn’t have--”
“I’m fine!” Yona stresses, trying to calm the violent banter, “Jae-Ha found me. It was very lucky.”
The Wind men look at Jae-Ha with admiration. Mundok pulls the green dragon into a warm hug which is shocking after all those fighting words. Tae-Woo watches unphased.
“It’s good to see you, Jae-Ha. It’s a great thing you did for the princess.”
Jae-Ha watches the old man, wondering how much he knows about what happened that day…
“By the way, Lady Lili was just looking for you.”
“Lili’s here?!” Yona lights up even more.
“Just arrived. We crossed her at the gate. She was asking about Jae-Ha.”
Jae-Ha glances toward the gate in confusion...
“I’m glad you could make it,” Joo-Doh says from where he's been waiting.
Hak closes the door to the king’s quarters behind him.
With sarcasm, "Nice work," Hak looks back toward the wall that Yona told him had gone to flames the night Soo-Won murdered her father in here, "you can’t tell there was ever a fire in here.”
“It’s important to me that you know I had nothing to do with that.”
“Why? Because it’s true? Or because I’m about to be king?”
Joo-Doh rises from the chair where he was sitting and approaches Hak so they can see each others’ eyes.
“I serve the king, whoever that may be. For the good of the Sky Tribe and Kouka.”
“Half your tribe was in on it. How did your men raise a sword to the princess and you not know about it?”
Joo-Doh looks away in frustration, then back, “I don’t know.”
“Not a single member of the Wind Tribe would have ever…”
“I’m aware that there may still be corruption in the Sky Tribe. It’s my commitment that I’ll weed those warriors out.”
Hak isn’t so sure about that…
“But to keep you and the princess safe, to win loyalty and inspire these men… I need something to tell them about that night. What really happened.”
“You’re so good at telling the truth, why not start with that?”
“I have no idea what the truth is. About that night or the battle with Kai. I myself am not sure if you’re a king I should be inspired to support or wary to follow.”
Hak stares at Joo-Doh, pissed. Not just because of what he said. Also because Hak doesn’t actually know what happened to Soo-Won at Kai. Just that the bastard's gone now. He’d figured he’d get a chance to get more details from the princess once they had some privacy, but that's not the direction things took...
“Do me a favor and don’t ever speak to Her Majesty like that,” Hak growls, his words sharp as blades, “We would appreciate it if you could get control of your tribe,” then looking at Joo-Doh straight in the eyes, “and if you want to know the truth, remember back on the childhoods you watched for so long. What kind of people do you honestly think we are?”
As Hak leaves, Joo-Doh sadly replies, “That’s the same reason I was loyal to Soo-Won after that night. I hope you can understand my confusion.”
Without looking back, Hak closes the door behind him, then stares forward over that damned courtyard. Yes, he can understand. That confusion has been the worst pain of his life.
The sight of that spot where she was on her knees, that sword above her… Hak’s breath catches. Suddenly he’s desperate to hold her, remind himself she’s OK.
Jae-Ha is letting Mundok alone escort Yona to a meeting scheduled with Kyo-Ga since the meeting needs to be private anyway and Mundok is the pinnacle of people to trust. Also, because Yona has been privately sharing special news today...
Yona is bursting to tell Mundok about she and Hak’s news, but knows she can’t yet. They haven’t seen a doctor to know for sure and Hak should definitely be there when they tell his grandfather…
“Your Majesty,” Kyo-Ga bows profoundly to Yona who has just arrived before the meeting room.
In the privacy of the generals' meeting room, Kyo-Ga confides, “Your coronation is imminent. So long as Soo-Won doesn’t appear within the next week, there will be no complication.”
Yona nods, “You wanted to meet to confirm this?"
“No… I wanted to meet to discuss seeing to it there would be no complications.”
“What do you mean?”
“No one knows exactly what happened to Soo-Won, correct?”
“...it's correct I’m not sure of Soo-Won’s current state,” Yona is careful not to lie.
“If he does appear somewhere or heavens forbid show up at the palace… I’d like to assure you that he will disappear once more. He will not be king or a threat to you any longer.”
Yona’s eyes go wide, “That's…”
“I’d like to protect you and your crown, Your Majesty, because of all you represent.”
“I don’t represent that, Kyo-Ga,” it slips out.
“Pardon?”
Yona can see a certain terror in his eyes, that she’s upset with him or worse, so she softens, “Please don’t concern yourself with such measures. There are more important issues to focus on...”
They meet eyes for a challenging moment, then Kyo-Ga eloquently changes the topic to Yona’s relief.
Yet all through the rest of the meeting, Yona is bothered by the idea she may not have convinced the Fire general to set aside his special effort…
Outside again, Yona sits with Mundok at Hak’s favorite bench.
“I once had many conversations with your father about meetings like this,” Mundok reveals, looking down at Yona tenderly like her father himself, “If you have the Fire Tribe’s support, then everything else aside, there is something good there.”
“Yes, but… Mundok,” Yona can’t take it anymore, she has to tell someone, she feels overwhelmed and sick, anxious, “I’ve complicated everything terribly. Most think he’s dead. Kyo-Ga just said he would kill him if he wasn’t. … but I had Kija and Zeno take him someplace safe.”
“Who…? Slow down,” Mundok grows concerned at Yona’s fast pace and her face turning white.
“Soo-Won,” her eyes flash up, “he’s still alive.”
Out. Finally, the words are out. And instead of better, the shock on Mundok’s face makes Yona feel worse. She feels like she’s gonna throw up but she can’t. Air. She needs air.
Yona bolts up to her feet only to feel immense dizziness.
She takes a step and falls.
“Look at you, upright and everything.”
Jae-Ha turns around at the training grounds where he’d gone in hopes of finding Hak. Instead, it appears he's been found by Lady Lili.
“It was no thanks to Hak’s gentle handling, but I survived,” Jae-Ha takes a seat at one of the benches overlooking the field.
Lili joins beside him, “I’m just looking for Yona.”
Jae-Ha is annoyed that he kind of knows that’s a lie, “She’s at the generals’ meeting room.”
Lili nods but makes no effort to get up, “How are you doing? Your wounds?”
“I’d be remiss not to ask you the same.”
“Hm?”
“I heard about your father,” Jae-Ha admits sincerely.
Lili stares forward, serene. Jae-Ha notices there’s something different about her now -- something in the look in her eyes.
Mundok sits at Yona’s bedside in a small patient room, trying and failing to suppress an enormous smile. Yona looks exhausted, but content in her bedding.
Hak rushes in past the doctor who tries to slow him down. Yona smiles up at him and he back down at her -- only to be grabbed by Mundok and dragged into an adjacent room, door closed.
Hak is frantic to get back to her-- “What happened?! Is she hurt?”
“The princess is fine.”
Hak sighs relief, then sees the way Mundok is looking at him…
“Did the doctor say something…”
Mundok’s eyes narrow, “You couldn’t give her any time to recuperate after the battle…?”
Hak’s cheeks turn pink as he lifts a hand to nervously scratch the back of his head as he looks down in search of a non-super-awkward answer, “Gramps, I…”
But when Hak looks back up, he sees Mundok’s face is bright and teary. The elder strides over and pulls his grandson into a heartfelt bear hug.
“Don't worry about that -- there’s no such thing as a good time for starting your family,” Mundok is so damn proud, “Congratulations, Boy. What a blessing. And I’ll be a great grandfather… The gods are clearly behind your union. What an incredible child this will be. What a great fortune this is.”
Hak can barely breathe from the hug, but despite that he is immensely thankful his grandfather is so happy about this. ...he just got the princess pregnant and Mundok isn’t trying to kill him. This is a miracle beyond miracles.
“So it’s for sure…?” Hak manages, “We didn’t know yet.”
Mundok nods, “It’s for sure. And the princess let me know why you didn’t come to a doctor sooner.”
“I didn’t like it,” Hak stresses.
“It was a good idea,” Mundok corrects, “The generals have almost all arrived. The meeting about coronation will take place tomorrow. The princess can’t be seen with a doctor. She needs to appear in good health.”
“Then what about…?” Hak nods toward the room with the doctor.
“I’ll see to it this one stays quiet. The princess should be fine if she stays in your care the rest of the day and through the night. But you need to get her spirit back up. She loves you, Boy, I'm sure you'll have no trouble.”
Hak looks away from his grandfather, his face now completely red from the awkward.
Hak enters to see his wife looking up at him with worried eyes.
“I know you wanted to come to the doctor together,” Yona apologizes.
“No, no, I’m just happy you and the baby are OK,” Hak sits beside her and bends down to kiss her forehead.
“The baby…,” Yona beams up at him remembering, “our baby.”
Hak takes one of her hands in his and caresses her cheek with his other, “I wanna do something special for you tonight. Will you come somewhere with me -- just us?”

Headcanon: The type of parents each Fruits Basket couple makes?
Holy Fuck I always get shook when I get Fruits basket asks on my blogAlright let’s do this
Tohru and Kyo: Tohru is literally the best Mom. Like she is so kind and sweet to her kids. She also probably spoils them too. It’s very obvious that she would use a lot of what Kyoko taught her to help out her kids in times of trouble. I also thinks she babies them especially if they’re hurt. Mama Tohru here with her first aid kit! I also think that her kids would always love it when they come home and get to eat her delicious food like nothing is better than their Mom’s food. Did I mention that her kids probably spoil the fuck out of her on Mother’s day? Me too though. She cries every year out of happiness. Surprisingly, with Kyo, he’s the voice of reason kind of Dad. Like he isn’t afraid to tell his kids that they fucked up. He’s still really loving to his kids. I think just like Tohru, he would use the teachings of Shishou when his kids need help and he especially uses his own experiences cause he’s fucked up a lot in the past. I also feel like if (or not? I think they have a daughter in the manga idk) with his daughter, he would get her to learn martial arts. He knows he won’t always be there to protect her so he wants to at least have her know some things to protect herself. He’s always there for his kids and let’s them know that no matter what happens, he still loves them. Such a sap. Anyways, together I think they would be best suited to be parents even though they’re terrified as shit to have them. Especially probably Kyo, cause he doesn’t want to be a terrible Dad like his actual Dad was. But Tohru always reassures him that he’ll be a great Dad because he’s so kind and caring. Kyo probably tears up every time she says that.
Yuki and Machi: Literally has no idea what the fuck he’s doing. Children are probably not his forte and has trouble being a parent. He still loves his kids though. He’s very laid back with his kids as well because he doesn’t want to be like his parents were. However, he does want his kids to do the best they can. I also think he’s the Dad to go to if you need help with your homework. You need math or English homework help? Go to Yuki. Yuki probably learned how to at least make edible food for his kids cause you can’t have them eating take out every night. Machi probably does more of the cooking than Yuki does and Yuki is probably better at cleaning than Machi is so that’s their assigned roles (though the house it still a fucking mess). Machi is probably also a laid back Mom for the same reasons as Yuki. She honestly just wants her kids to be happy. I also don’t think Motherhood even really hits her until she holds her child for the first time. Then she terrified for a split second but then realizes that she has Yuki and everyone else to help her and she feels okay again. She also probably goes to Tohru for help at times. They also set up play dates too which I find really cute. They’re parents that learn through trail and error.
Shigure and Akito: What a fucking mess Shigure would be. I’m not even sure if he’ll be a good Dad or not honestly. I do think he would care for his kids. He’s probably the Dad of Dads and he’s very Fatherly if you understand what I’m saying. Always has great advice but he usually gets it from his novels or if he doesn’t he will plan to put it in. His kids will probably be pretty good in Literature considering he’s an author. I also feel like he’ll actually do shit?? Like he actually cooks unlike he did when Tohru and them were living there. Then again, they could fend for themselves at that point. Also he’ll take the job of diaper duty but does a poor job at doing it. Shigure as a Dad needs some practice honestly. Akito, out of all of them, is probably the most terrified to have kids. She didn’t really have parents and she isn’t very good with affection so having a small child who needs those things??? She probably doesn’t think she’ll be a good Mom. But I think with some talking to with Shigure and Tohru (especially Tohru she probably also goes to her for help like Machi) she feels a little more confident about having a kid. I also feel like she would be over protective of her kids cause of how much she loves them. I also think having a girl for them would be a challenge but I don’t think for them that gender really matters.
Uo and Kureno: God what bad ass kids. Just for the reason that Uo herself is probably such a bad ass Mom and probably teaches her kids stuff from her gang days. Though I feel like Kureno would stop her if things got too much. I personally think there could be only two ways them being parents would go. Either roles are completely switched as in Uo would be more of a Dad and Kureno would be more of a Mom, or they act exactly like Kyoko and Katsuya did when they were raising Tohru. Kureno imo would be a lot like Tohru in ways of being kind to his kids and also being probably very clumsy too. He probably hit the kids head on an open door one time while holding them and Uo almost fucking killed him. Also the thought of Kureno making lunch for his kids makes me smile. They as a family probably go star gazing sometimes and Kureno teaches them the constellations. What a cute family.
Rin and Haru: How do they even parent??? Like you thought Yuki and Machi were chill. They’re ice cold. Very laid back parents that don’t have a lot of rules. Because they’re the kind of people that are like “lmao fuck the system”. Though I highly believe they are affectionate with their kids. A close second to Tohru and Kyo. They try their hardest (especially Rin) to make their child feel love and they probably try not to lie to them at all. I think at this point all the Moms just go to Tohru for help. Though I do think when she really needs it, Tohru will go to Rin for help. I’m not sure for what though but it happens. Maybe sex advice??? Who knows. Also I think Haru teaches them some stupid shit like for example how to break open a watermelon with your bare hands. Though some of what he teaches is actually handy. Like he probably taught them the sad story thing that he told Tohru about.
I think that’s basically it. I’m just doing the ones that I know are canon. I know Kakeru and Komaki are canon but I don’t know much about Komaki. There’s only one thing you need to know about Kakeru. Meme Dad. There you go.

Yona ch.137 spoilers
Akatsuki no Yona chapter 137 “To our allies” summary with pics
Please don’t repost/reuse my scans and translations without permission. Tumblr reblog is fine.
Do not use the raws or translations for scanlations and don’t upload them on other websites. If you need watermark-less images to make graphics, send me an ask (not on anon) and I’ll give you a link - you can only request 3 images per chapter.
The Wind tribe soldiers are observing Shin. They’ve noticed their army is gathering near the border: war will probably start soon. Han-Dae asks Tae-Woo if they’re going to obey Soo-Won’s orders. The general replies their tribe lives right next to Shin’s territory, so it’s a given they were called to fight. They must be ready for when the Sky tribe comes, that’s when the fighting will begin.
Han-Dae isn’t really happy about the war. Saki doesn’t understand why: didn’t he choose to go to Sei and fight the last time? Han-Dae says it’s because he had heard about Lili being captured (the rumor said she was weak, but he quickly changed his mind when he saw her ^^;). They both agree wars won by hurting people are difficult to come to terms with.
Back to Yona’s group. Ogi says he sent a messenger to the Wind tribe and that he should reach them in half a day. He asks Hak if “avoid battle” was really the message he wanted to convey. Hak says their priority is to buy time, even if Shin might start attacking in the meantime. Voldo suggests they hurry to the border as well.
Min-Soo rushes in and tells them about what he overheard: the Sky tribe will head for Shin in 3 days, and they have about 20000 men. Everyone is worried, the war will break out earlier than they expected.
Yona tells Hak to go to the Wind tribe first. She will try to slow down Soo-Won’s army. She plans to talk to a certain ally of theirs... Hak doesn’t want to let her go without him. Ogi offers to send a messenger instead, but Yona says she wants to meet that person herself, even if it might be difficult. Min-Soo is willing to accompany her.
Again, Hak says he won’t let her go alone. Argila will go with her, then. Yona tells Hak to go. The Wind tribe is waiting for him. She doesn’t want to have any regret, so she’ll do what she can on her own. She’s confident buying time and waiting for the right opportunity will allow them to find a way to end things peacefully between Kouka and Shin. Then they’ll all be able to go to the dragons, Yoon and Ao.
Hak says he understands and he’ll be waiting.
Yona realizes what she’s done, hides her face with her coat and leaves with Argila and Min-Soo. Hak is still stunned.
Hak: ...What was that?!
Voldo: She already left.
Hak: Hey, wait.
Voldo: I told you, she left.
Hak: Nononononononono it’s weird it’s weird it’s weird pukkyuu!
Ogi casually remarks things have turned pretty bittersweet in here. He’s having fun (and put Yona’s kanzashi in his hair :D).
Hak is upset. He can’t let himself be caught unawares by everything the princess does, but for her to do such a thing just like that... can’t she give him a break?
In the carriage Ogi lent them, Yona’s buried her face in her arms, blushing furiously. When Hak told her “I’ll be waiting” with his worried look, she felt she didn’t want to part with him. She talks to herself in her head: “Yona, there are things you should and should not do, you know?” “What are you trying to do, Yona?”... She has to forget and put it out of her mind. She must focus.
Han-Dae has read Ogi’s message. He wonders if it’s really from Hak. Tae-Woo recognizes Hak’s handwriting. The soldiers are confused: should they obey Soo-Won’s command to wait for the Sky tribe and fight with them, or listen to their former general? They turn to Tae-Woo for answers.
Tae-Woo reminds them they’re all from the Wind tribe, and from Fuuga. Kids from Fuuga have had something etched in their souls since very young. No matter how great the Heavens are, no matter how admirable the king is, there’s only one person standing at the top of the Wind tribe.
Tae-Woo heads to Shin army’s camp with his small group. Meanwhile, he tells his soldiers to have fun, they’re not going to fight. Han-Dae is worried: their leader told them not to fight, but is it really alright to go to Shin like that?
Apparently there was a 2nd page to Hak’s letter. It said to get along well with people from Shin. Problem: soldiers from Shin aren’t friendly at all! Han-Dae wants to give them some wine, but gets almost shot with an arrow.
Tae-Jun is in the castle’s courtyard, all muddy. Kyo-Ga scolds him for playing in the mud at his age. Tae-Jun says he’s been harvesting iza crops in a nearby village. Kyo-Ga is still angry: what good will it do him to learn agriculture? He’s his assistant now, can’t he see how much effort Kyo-Ga put into learning various things, obeying Soo-Won and trying to rebuild the Fire tribe?
Huk-Chi arrives and tells Tae-Jun he has guests waiting for him. Tae-Jun runs away from his brother and later thanks Huk-Chi for coming up with this lie to save him. But his aide tells him he really have guests, and they’re envoys from Hiryuu castle. Tae-Jun freaks out: did he do something to anger the king?
The first person he sees is Argila, a scary-looking guy who looks like he’s a seasoned warrior. Then 2 hooded figures... Min-Soo asks Huk-Chi to leave the room. Tae-Jun loses it: they’re here to kill him, right? Oh no, he has been traumatized by mean-looking warriors in the past! And he feels like he’s become a better person lately, but that doesn’t prevent him from still doing bad-ish things from time to time!
Voice: Tae-Jun...
Hisa’s thoughts on the chapter:
Well well, it was high time we saw Yona pulling strings to achieve what she wants without relying on the dragons. Not only has she decided to use her influence to stop the war, she’s also “decided” to move forward on a more personal level (although her kiss with Hak was more of a spur-of-the-moment thing).
There are several things to discuss in this chapter, so I’ll just address the topics as they appeared.
1) Soo-Won. He’s still proceeding with his war plans, as he told Yona in the previous chapter. However, there might be something suspicious in the place he’s chosen to discuss this topic with Kye-Sook. It's an open room with no doors, and looks like a storage area. Obviously that’s where Min-Soo was headed, as he was pictured carrying books. No doors means Soo-Won didn’t care about being overheard and his war plans aren’t a big secret, or he purposefully brought Kye-Sook here knowing Min-Soo would be around to hear them. Was it his intention to have Min-Soo report back to Yona all along?
2) Min-Soo. What are you doing, Min-Soo? I can’t understand you. Rather, I don’t like this sort of redemption arc so late in the game. Kusanagi dumped his backstory on us last chapter, explaining why he was loyal to Soo-Won while still inclined to help Yona. Why is it now okay to defy SW’s orders even though he couldn’t a few months (?) ago when the king saved his life? Did something happen to his mother, has he found other powerful allies, or does he just not care anymore? I’m confused -_-; He’s like a convenient newfound ally that I want to trust but can’t.
3) Hak and the kiss. Yona asks Hak to go to the Wind tribe. I don’t really see what he can achieve over there that he couldn’t do via Ogi’s messengers. They know Soo-Won will arrive in 3 days, it feels like he only goes there to confront him and take the blame all on himself for the Wind tribe’s treason (which might be an admirable thing, but what can he hope to do against 20000 soldiers?). That’s where the kiss comes in. As I said when I first read the chapter, to me it was a non-event. Not because it doesn’t mean anything for Yona and Hak, but because the chapter has been constructed such as to place that kiss in the middle of the chapter, and not at the end like you’d expect for a meaningful, heartwarming confession. Just as Hak said, he mustn’t let himself be overwhelmed by what the princess does. That kiss might’ve been a pleasant surprise, but Hak didn’t even question it (like, does it mean she likes me? was it just a parting kiss? etc). It wasn’t romantic, and there were onlookers. Hak and Yona didn’t really get to enjoy it - it’s not the usual “I love you” shoujo kiss. Which brings me to point 4).
4) The Wind tribe. What the hell was that about Hak being their god and standing at the top of everything? Sure he’s powerful and played with the kids and probably attracted their loyalty, but... how blind and lovestruck can they be with Hak? From what we know, when Hak was young Mundok was the true leader of the Wind tribe, and Hak was the nice big brother everyone could annoy and train with even if he was reluctant, and he didn’t like going to the castle to perform his duties (partly because of Yona). He became their general at a young age, yet it was during King Il’s reign: during his time as a general, did he get to lead soldiers to battle or make strategies or anything that would justify being elevated to god-like status among the Wind tribe? Is Mundok such a doting grandfather that he’d let everyone worship Hak like it’s no big deal?
I fear this kind of buildup is a bad omen for what’s to come. The goodbye kiss + the Wind tribe saying they’ll blindly follow Hak to the ends of the Earth? This definitely smells like a bad-things-ahead/death flag. Only I don’t expect Hak will die, but I suspect something might happen to Tae-Woo or Han-Dae. Idk, the kiss upset me, and maybe that’s why I’m seeing bad vibes in the Wind tribe’s loyalty.
5) Tae-Jun. He’s back! And somehow he made up with his brother, seeing as he is his assistant/lieutenant now. I can’t wait to see how he’ll react to what Yona tells him. I was expecting Kyo-Ga to still be studying at Hiryuu castle, because he clearly will be an obstacle to defying Soo-Won’s orders. Maybe that’s where Min-Soo will come in handy, if he can lie and say he’s here as the king’s representative.
Next chapter will be titled disturbance/perturbation. I’m hoping we’ll get to see a bit of Kouren’s side of the story, but it will likely be the continuation of Yona’s talk with Tae-Jun and the confrontation between Soo-Won and the Wind tribe.
