There needs to better regulations put into place for their health and safety because this is pitiful. Two weeks - monthly updates should’ve already been the standard for the manga industry at this point. These money grabbers will only continue to put the lives of these artists at stake for the sake of capitalism unless some serious changes are implemented.

this whole "draw miku from your culture/country/area" trend made me realize that hatsune miku is like the Spiderverse. she exists in an infinite number of settings with various life lore. every music video for a miku song has its own universe. u could draw her from any country and it'd still be miku. you could give her any job, aesthetic, or personality and it'd all still be miku. all you need is that bright teal hair (or hat/scarf/hijab/etc.) in two ponytail-esque shapes and you've got miku. she's got a few recurring design traits but other than that she can be anything and she'll still be the one and only miku
