MOVING ONN

Will catches Lou and Cecil leaving CHB to join Luke, Cecil off handedly offers Will to come with them, to which he requests they bring Drew along

Hecate leads them to one of her other children (haven't decided if it's Alabaster or one of my other hecate kid ocs <3) who in turn bring them to the Princess Andromeda

Luke is, admittedly, surprised to see that Will and Drew have any interest in joining, but he isn't going to argue with more recruits, Lee thinks its stupid to let Will join but he can't say no because. Kronos. SO THEY JOIN

Lee and Silena still play spies so they have to act worried about Drew and Will as if they don't know those kids r chilling on the Andromeda and not in fact monster food

Drew is SCOURING THE EARTH to drag Ethans ass onto the ship, Lou is learning spells from her siblings and then Will and Cecil are just having a good time

Eventually, the four of them end up getting dropped at Westover Hall because Kronos told Luke there were demigods there. So, they make friends with Nico and Bianca by extension

However, because of this, the di Angelos are much more inclined to trust the ta kids over the campers come TTC, Lou ends up shadow travelling off with Nico while the other three work on getting Bianca tf outta there

Cecil ends up going off the cliff with Annabeth, and Drew manages to distract the other three campers long enough for them to get Bianca back into the building and then GET THE FUCK OUT

I haven't thought too far past TTC, aside from Lee 'disappears' from CHB before BOTL and survives until TLO only to get killed by Kronos during the Battle of Manhattan LMAO

actually i do know because i feel the SAME. my love for ex bakugo is unyielding. endless. forever. and i actually wrote a bunch for him a couple months ago when another anon brought it up but... got scared they'd hate what i had down so i....... put it on the shelf. i'll have to find it maybe... if ppl want.

ANYWAY... like. there is truly just no way to go wrong with him. there is just no universe where he isn't either a depressed, miserable, longing ex or an kind, gentle and regretful one (or some variation of). even when he's angry, it's mostly just at himself for being a douche who managed to lose you, and HOW CAN U NOT LOVE THAT??

it's so ironic bc he's such a prickly pear but... he just loves the hardest out of any + everyone. not that i don't imagine the others and just as caring... but for bakugo, it's almost a religious experience, you know? never a phase or an era or something he just does but a... idek. life commitment? goal? achievement? something to be maintained and treasured? all of the above. EVEN IF he's not that good at it (at first... which is debatable anyway), that's still how he feels.

so when u break up... that can't be the end of things. like really i can only imagine it happening circumstantially, cuz i genuinely think that any issues you bring up with him (aside from work maybe), he'd take BEYOND seriously.

too gruff and private? suddenly he's telling u every single emotion he has and asking if he's being too rough. too anal and uptight? suddenly the kitchen is a mess and he hasn't even noticed. hell, even too busy? he'll do his best to fit a whole evening with u in his schedule (he hates mornings more than anything but takes the ass crack of dawn shift just so u can have dinner together most night)... it's like !!!!!!! + reminds me of that post i made talking about how pro heroes are so hard to breakup with bc even when ur pointing out their flaws, they're so used to constructive criticism, they don't even notice ur being insulting LMFAO😭

that aside tho, i can never imagine a bakugo breakup!au without them... you both back together at some point. even if it's ten or fifteen years later like... he spent all that time trying to get better for u... even if he didn't think you'd really come back. (or, as i was trying to write, you breakup with him and he just... doesn't fucking believe u LMFAOOOOO and shoves his booty back into his rightful place sadjkfhakjdsf)

part of me wants to have varha's relationship with estinien resolved BEFORE shb because i'm impatient but also because the buildup is there (still workshopping things but i'm going to pick apart the later dragoon quests to suit my own needs here & re-arrange some things to give them an excuse to spend time alone together post-stormblood pre-shadowbringers, it'll be great once i figure out a solid timeline, i promise) so like on one hand it would make sense, they're both incredibly blunt people who Would just go for it under the right circumstances

however. leaving things on a 'not-quite-official-yet-even-though-we've-shared-a-bed' note gives us the combined comedy/angst of varha spending her downtime in the crystarium giving Major 'why should THEY be happy! [while throwing rocks at couples by the lake]' energy that will absolutely be made the problem of innocent bystanders and emet-selch, who's about to figure out exactly Which parts of azem's personality varha inherited (the hostile fire-starter ones, mostly). plus, estinien gets to spend that time ruminating on the fact that he missed his window to actually move things forward like, multiple times over the course of their multi-week dragon-hunting camping trip to make an official declaration of any kind, and he gets to to this while on his road trip with gaius (what did they even Talk about that whole time like???). no, gaius doesn't get omnipotence for narrative convenience, i just think him being around estinien while he dwells on this makes the situation objectively more miserable for him & therefore more entertaining for Me.

Tho shit happened, idk abt this but I do wanna revise my og headcanon of it, so I wanna say that Dia did encounter a trainer with a Sliggoo, and before her own Goomy could join her, that trainer and his pkmn used to beat up Goomy bc apparently it was weaker than the others. Diantha didn't like that tho, so while that trainer told his Sliggoo to use Acid Spray on Goomy, Dia rushed in to block the attack, protecting Goomy, but that costed her her arm really

Well, she didn't care, as long as Goomy is safe. She couldn't beat the trainer ofc, so she got her Kirlia to teleport them away. And that's how Goomy joined her. Tho ofc, her arm really paid the price of it, until now her Goodra was so guilty about it. Diantha tries to tell her it's okay, it's been years, it healed already, or,, healed as best at it possibly could, but still, yknow. She'd do it a million times again just to keep her pkmn safe

He either got the burn on his arm on the job OR he got it before, doing some dumb drunk shit, and the hot firefighter who saved his ass made him want to join up.

. . . The more I think about it the more I like the second option lmao.

It wouldn’t be an immediate thing, I don’t think, he’d be recovering for a while, wind up developing some worse habits than the drinking (lotta pain meds for burns that bad, he’s already an alcoholic so what’s one more addiction?). Does some other dumb shit and puts someone ELSE’s life in danger because of it (maybe Anne and/or their kid? or Mary/Mark?) that kinda wakes him up. He goes to rehab, gets better, runs into the firefighter who saved him by chance at like, the grocery store or smth, asks them to help him join up.

Still gets to be a bit of a dumb frat boy (minus the drinking), lives for their yearly sexy firefighter calendar (sends one to all his friends two for Izzy), his team are all 100% acab and back him up whenever he has run-ins with some of the cops who’ve arrested him in the past. He dresses up as a sexy firefighter (almost) every halloween (almost because he does couples costumes with Izzy once they get together).
