On her off days you can find her in the contest hall, a hobby she picked up from her mother, or in the Battle Frontier/Pokémon Lab to catch up with her best friends. It is said she was recently engaged to a certain johto boy (Ethan. It’s Ethan.) however they will not publicly revealed their plans for the wedding as of yet

Poll's Origin Story (kind of)

Stardust wanders. That's their whole thing. They are a spirit, or more accurately an... entity? Minor deity? It's a little complicated, but what is important is that they wander, and they wander wherever they want. One day, they ended up in just the right place at the right time.

That little egg that Stardust found ended up being Poll, Of course.

It's a little hard to glean how long Poll was in the Federation labs and why they were made. Like many of the other eggs, Poll doesn't talk about what happened (if they remember at all) and generally pretends like it never happened. As far as they could figure out though, Poll had gone through all the testing and was in storage until the right set of islanders arrived.

Having spent their entire life surrounded by Federation employees, Poll's dragon form was *very* different from what it is today, to say the least.

After spending a little while around Stardust, their form changed to the one we know and love! Although since their papa is a shapeshifter too, their form resembles the dragons their genetics are from instead of their papa.

#This is why I should take my adderall more often #theres so many little things about Poll too that I love and wanna talk about but they're more tag material than anything kkkkkk #they wandered around with their papa for a while before Stardust found a decent house to keep Poll in #since apparently babies shouldn't be suddenly teleported to the moon or the ocean #They got their flower crown during that time #Their markings were originally just those stripes but they eventually got the diamonds from their papa looking like stars a lot of the time #they also named their own papa #because Stardust didn't have a name #uh what else #they got their colors first mostly #like how most of the time us white babies come out with blue eyes and blond hair #They lost the rabbit ears and bear pawpads as their form changed to a more draconic one #(semifontos youre my inspiration for the bunny ears)#There's more but I can't think of it rn #But yeah Poll was supposed to go to an adoption center but Stardust found them first #baby aquired I guess lmao #not a poll #poll the egg #Oh yeah I HC that the eggs ARE dragons but genetically modified by the feds to be able to change shape so people get attatched more quickly #so since Poll hasn't met a human (or human looking) person until summer camp happened #they don't have a humanlike form like most of you have #that's gonna be my next big drawing :]#stardust the ???#Captain's egg OCs

i adore this post and wanted to make something cute in my scrapbook inspired by it

both handmade notepads only have 3 pages (as to not bulk up my scrapbook more than it already is). they are glued to the inside of scrapbook but the left side of the asexual notepad is not glued so the aromantic one can be flipped on top of it and opened. ill probably update when i actually write down some aro and ace things to do!

i had the brush set too small at first & didnt realize until i was already too far along- full body diamond authority is ok w the shaded fit & wings but the headshot is just. eh. kinda dislike it. im fucking obsessed with the other headshot tho

giyuu's a lapis along w tsutako, normal lapis terraforming job but some shit went down, tsutako got shattered, giyuu was left to fend for herself until she ran into a lost kunzite fresh out the ground (she had a slight imperfection, showed up as a spot along her cheek (corner of mouth to center base of ear) that looks like raw kunzite/ yk when a helmet or somethn gets shaved down sliding against a road? that)

they tough it out in the wilds for a while, they got attacked and accidentally fused to defend themselves, kept fusing when they were in trouble after that- yadda yadda meet makomo (also a gem) & sakonji and learn how to be their own person, getting their own names (giyuu got Giyuu, the kunzite got Sabito) and meeting a group of other rogue gems & making human friends

sabito got particularly interested in the concept of human masculinity & highly respected the closest man she knew, sakonji- transed his gender & chose to dedicate himself to protecting those he cares about. giyuu is very close to him and also changed pronouns & vibes bc sabito loved it so much, though he doesnt really care about human perceptions of gender (hes a pretty rock made of light, the fuck does he need a gender for? (sabito doesnt see it that way, he never got indoctrinated/had a formal gem education or whatever, so hes just vibin))

something something giyuu found a way to precisely control water, and what is ice if not Structured Water. sabito never got whatever his job as a kunzite was, but he has a similar ability as Pearl where hes able to summon a blade from his gem (rectangular cut, back of his left hand). when theyre fused they become Hawk's Eye (also know as blue tiger's eye), able to both control water(& subsequently ice) and form blades along his arms and feet; the blades on his feet allow him to ice skate, the blades on his arms are attached at two points on the forearm and is curved over the hand- the blade's allowed to spin around the arm, tip of the blade is at the point of rotation so itll be in the same spot above the hand no matter what side of the arm its on

Highway Star: Highway Star is a long-range Stand which can pursue its targets using their scent. It can run up to 60 km/h and indefinitely maintain that running speed in order to chase after its prey. In order to lure targets, Highway Star has the ability to create an illusionary room. Anyone who enters the room is targeted by Highway Star, who then acquires their scent.

Highway Star can also section itself into many slices as it flies at high speeds, breaking apart into flat horizontal segments shaped like footprints that move independently of each other, and then reassembling itself piece by piece. Its main ability is to absorb nutrients from its victims when any part of it touches the target.

Diver Down: Diver Down's signature ability is to phase through solids and then freely change their insides. By plunging inside an object or person, Diver Down can freely manipulate their internal structure; either to destroy them or piece them together anew.

besides legends arceus causing the whole "oh riley is actually really old (and at one point went by rye)" braincell it also led to other Fun Ideas about ancestry and dealing with who people expect you to be contrasting with who you really are :) especially with marley's japanese name (mai) becoming the english name for her ancestor and thus joining rye in being the stat trainer ancestors who share the same name origin as their present-day descendants/selves :) :) (also they were specifically made a team in the BDSP battle tower which might not mean much but i'm thinking about it now anyway)
