Lost mv is taking place entirely inside Namjoon s mind. The hosts, the camera person, the office workers are all him. So it is interesting that inside this place is a stage where Namjoon needs to perform and the office workers (different parts of himself) are hurrying to get him on stage. Is he curating his persona for the outside world (pushing certain parts of his identity to the fore while others are left waiting underground)? There is a certain amount of imagery suggesting that there are things hiding deeper under the surface. It's also possible that this mv is about examining parts of himself and trying to understand himself but there are still plenty he hasn't figured out yet. Something I like about Namjoon s work is that it is up for interpretation a lot of the time. You can read it a few ways.

Headcanon #500:

Mind is afraid that when he distances himself from or above the others, that he will be too far gone to come back down. That when his paranoia gets the best of him, he'll shut everyone else out and then be completely alone with no way back to where he was before.

Heart is afraid that if Mind is right, with the idea that what he does isn't genuine, that he's being manipulative without realizing it. Then therefore being Whole without himself there is the better option. That he'd be thrown out because his ideas would then be "not worth it" or even "vile"

Soul is afraid that no matter what he does or how good things will be, they'll always eventually split up again or even end up worse. Even then he has no clue what he's supposed to do or be during everything, and so because of that he'll never be whole. Or worse that he'll never really "feel" whole.

it's playing during a scene where a man is intentionally trying to get struck by lightning, and i can't find any mention of this anywhere on the internet and it's not even credited, so i just want to say, its a funny goof, and i noticed it, editors. i might be the only person on the planet who did, but it's still a funny goof.

like you can not be a fan of an album and still be respectful about it. if you immediately hit it with criticism that is not constructive and/or accuse a band of money grabbing because "it's not x or y", you need to shut the hell UPPPP.

like,, i'm a zaba lad, but i fuck HARD with this album because it's different and fun and still has the weirdness of glass animals in the lyrics that yous keep saying has been lost.

those albums you like are still available, you can still listen to them without bitching and moaning about this one.

Am I the only one who noticed that in the S2 cover art, the Forgiven prisoners are facing towards the door, while the Unforgiven ones are facing away from it?

Ahh yes!! It really is such a cool detail!! It takes the idea of Es/us getting in their heads and makes it something very tangible 👀

The innocent prisoners are comfortable showing us their thoughts: Haruka looks like he's checking you're still there following him. Yuno isn't happy about it, but she still wants to show you something to prove her point. Muu can keep hands behind her back because she hasn't done anything wrong, see? Regardless of Shidou’s emotions for what's through the door, he's putting on gloves to administer care, since that's what he'll use this opportunity for. In his teasers, Kazui seems eager to get something off his chest, and out of everyone he looks the most purposeful at leading you inside.

Meanwhile, guilty Fuuta and Mahiru have their backs to the mindscape. I think it's interesting that theyre not trying to stop us from going in -- it looks more like they themselves don’t want to spend any more time in their own head. They're afraid of us, and are shielding their prominent injuries (eye and arm). Although Kotoko may have been the one to actually attack, I absolutely love how well the art conveys this was our fault. They’re in so much pain because of us.

I'm curious if, given their t2 changes and the fact they weren't physically injured, Amane and Mikoto will end up looking more angry than scared...

I'm delighted to finally post what I've been working on lately! I've gone on youtube and downloaded a bunch of mp3s of various unstreamable songs then cut them down from the videos into individual songs with proper metadata + album art so you can just download them all in one place and throw them into wherever you play your music. Right now I have various EPs, demos, and singles, but I will be adding unreleased live songs and debut/early/alternative/etc versions of songs later on!

(Also as a fair warning, the early ones sound really rough, but it is what it is)

guts is legitimately a perfect album and i cannot stress enough how FEW albums i describe as absolutely perfect. this isnt just me loving a new album. it is genuinely a phenomenal piece of art that perfectly encapsulates girlhood and anger and growing up. this girl has such an insanely bright future.
