Finally gave Turning Red a watch, and DAMN we needed this movie. We really REALLY needed this movie. An actual movie for kids that delves into puberty including periods, fucking THANK YOU.

I feel like there are a ton of people out there who don't realize that girls can get their first period as young as 10 years old, before schools really go into sex ed. Can you imagine a ten year old suddenly seeing blood coming out between their legs and panicking thinking they are dying?

Thank you to the lovely women who gave us this movie.
