I think I tired my mind in advance by picking up an extra shift and agreeing to some running that I really don't wanna do later in the week. Lots of waiting around, which I hate. I would rather get everything done asap so I can have the rest of the day. I hate having to wait 1-2 hours between things. Especially when it wastes all the hours I am most productive, because then by the time I get home I have no productive energy left to do stuff at home (I try to do as much as possible before 2pm because energy bar takes a massive hit after that).

I think this weeks chapter updates might be super early (aka tomorrow), so that it will be one less thing on my plate for Friday.

So, Rat!Mom.

She’s still a bit paranoid (how can you not be with the Shredder actively trying to find out what happened to you, where you are, and if you're actually dead), but shes more focused on trying to give her kids as normal of a life as she can and definitely not hiding all her stress underneath endless piles of work.

Mikey plays alot of games and is more adept at cooking, Raph's painting more often and always trying to help his mom with cleaning(yes, hes a mama's boy), Donnie is creating and creating and always wanting to go bigger, and Leo and Karai(yes, Karai :]) play fight alot(so many wars...) when they aren’t watching Space Heroes 24/7 or trying to explore outside the home.

Then, maybe during one of her dumpster dives, she finds some convenient "Chris Bradford" training tapes that they start to gain an interest in ninjutsu. She's not too pleased with it, but since they enjoy it, she tries to be more open to it(she conflicted)

They do go out and about earlier than Canon(with a curfew), meet April earlier too(her and her dad are a little different), and Karai and April become BFFS. (Unless...)

The kids still call her sensei or variations of mom, which ones? Probably all depending on what they did.

Now, fighting bad guys? She did not raise them for that /hj

In reality, when she sees her kids scratched up from fights topside, they are usually pretty quick to inform her what happened(except for two). They get carefully patched up, and scolded before being told to rest for a while(grounded). Which is definitely not so she can keep an eye on them.

And she is certainly not stressed whatsoever👍

When it comes to VS. Shredder bits, she'd definitely use everything she can to her advantage, especially her rat abilities. Climbing, gnawing, scratching, hissing; just get the fuck away from her and her kids.

Lastly, Im thinking of probably at least three separate versions or “alternate timelines” for the WP au, or two divergents of the wp au canon lol. One where the original turts find Shen and her turts pre-adventure, one post-adventure and/or during the shredder kidnap arc(i will not elaborate) and the least timefuckery timeline where Rat mom and her babies gotta march on without future “assistance” 🤷 im sure they’ll be fine(they willllll)

Sunstorm has been lingering in my brain aaannnd now theyve escaped containment sjfnskvnd

bit of lore rant under cut

So as relative standard, Sunstorm is a clone of Starscream made by Shockwave. They were presented to TC and Warp as a replacement for Star (Starscream gets rekt and peeps think he's ded for a while), made to be the idealized, perfect weapon. Shockwave had created them really as his beta test for his project of cultivating the next evolution of Cybertronians. He viewed Sunny as a partial success, given that their radioactive spark became an apparent problem quite quickly. Shockwave was still satisfied with their skill, resilience, and behavioral programming. Even when they would occasionally spout some questionable nonsense about Primus when their radiation got a bit high, it was irrelevant and an easily solved problem to Shockwave. Plus, the ridiculous energy output Sunstorm was capable of was a valuable resource to be used as a source of power for the citadel. Saved on quite a bit of energon that way lol. Speaking of energon, they rlly had to be careful when fueling of making sure their radiation was a safe level before hand so they didnt combust lol. If they're optics are red, then that's an easy indicator that they chillin.

Sunstorm very often will "translate" Shockwave to people. Insisting that Shockwave cares in his own way, and that he has the best intentions. Shockwave did kinda programmed em to be specifically loyal to him tho-- Sunstorm very much does not understand why Shockwave is imprisoned later.

They also be plagued by visions from the gods due to their heightened energy signature. Primus and Unicron sound the same to them. Unicron of course took advantage of that and starts rlly getting in their brain and manipulating em hard. I'm sure you can guess what for-

After Shockwave's imprisonment, Sunstorm starts having more trouble keeping their energy levels stable, since the citadel was decommissioned, and the others dont really know the specifics about their condition/how to handle it. Unicron's influence gets worse, and Sunstorm goes to visit Shockwave for advice. Although they aren't in their right mind anymore, so when Shockwave tries to guide them on how to expell their energy safely, they freak out that he doesn't understand. In their frenzy they almost melt Shockwave thru the bars as they're in more of a daze guided by Unicron bein like /dewit/ lol

But guards step in. They try to apprehend Sunstorm buuut they cant touch em. Sunny leaves adn there is a whole arc of that theoretical last season round them and how peeps will end up taking down unicron and Sunstorm gets a good ending.

But I think theyd still visit Shockwave later, be decent friends with Soundwave, and Thundercracker. They'd retain an aversion to Optimus, really not being a fan, much to OP's dismay smh. One quirk of theirs to Starscream that makes him find a bit of a point of conversation to start on. Star would def warm up to em /after/ all that crazed shit (Probs would even get a bit protective tbh).

They're still hyped up on adrenaline and Roach is being a little shit. Poking, biting, probably hard and annoying af. Ghost on the other hand is not in the mood. Que fighting, cussing, and Roach in a headlock while Ghost aggressively shampoo's the bug. There's been more than one time Price has been called in to break it up.

Option two:

What can I say? Basically exactly the same as 1 but ends... A bit differently? Price still gets called in to break it up.

Option three:

I think sometimes the weight of the world can just be... To much. Not even a good wrestle (or fuck) could help. So what do you do? Gentle kisses, maybe some romantic hair washing (Roach has curly hair and takes care of it, fight me), and burn care. I think this is the only option Price *doesn't* get called into. That is, unless cap also needs some comfort?

I ☝️ personally give my OCs colors for funsies! so Felix’s is a pale grey, and Aleksi’s is a medium indigo! (It’s more blueish to be fair) Felix wears his house’s colors a lot, which are a greenish teal and gold, and Aleksi wears his uniform a lot so that’ll be red and black!

creative hobbies:

Felix acting arc when… it’s always because this man is literally acting 24/7 free him… (actual answer would be singing maybe. perhaps painting… though I can see him being a theater kid) Aleksi doesn’t really have any I can think of, but he does journal and he does sometimes write banger lines I think. in between the scribbled case notes and grieving bits and mundane sentences about his day.

descriptions (from others):

to save time im gonna do the people they interact with most at the beginning of the story! according to his little siblings (Luca, Maria—they’re twins, 16), Felix is their big brother. he’s smart, and sweet, and sometimes makes mistakes but he always apologizes and that’s what they care about most. he’s shown them a lot they may not have seen before, things about being kind and understanding and noticing injustice. they’d describe him as somewhat carefree but they can’t help but feel there’s something he’s hiding… according to Sir Santhuff, Aleksi is a subpar soldier and if it weren’t for his loyalty (something hard to come by) he’d have been sacked a long time ago. as it stands he’s useful enough. Id do more but brain is ded 💔

Felix would describe himself as someone who doesn’t let life get to him, someone who isn’t really worth that much trouble. somehow he’s got power, so he’ll try and use it for good. Aleksi would describe himself as a soldier. maybe not the best one, probably on the worse side, but a soldier nonetheless and that means the world to him. anything else isn’t really something worth considering, at least to him.

elements:

Felix is giving earth… plant related magic… plus fairies are categorized as Earth Fae so! Aleksi’s water to me, I’m not sure why.

how they show they care:

Felix would try and give them gifts if he cares! useful ones, mostly, but sometimes they’re purely aesthetic ones. he’ll take the time to pick out a gift that is both, if possible. Aleksi would sort of. protect someone? he’s going to gently guide someone through a crowd, he’s going to step in front of them if they’re going somewhere unfamiliar, stuff like that!

how they show they don’t like someone:

It’s very hard to figure out if Felix doesn’t like you or not. he’ll act the same, for the most part, but if you’re sharp you’ll see that his smiles are forced and his stance is stiff. its quite easy to tell if Aleksi doesn’t like you. he’ll just. say that. or ignore you. lol

It has been WAY too long since I got on here. I took an impromptu break due to things and getting back into drawing and blogging again took much longer than I ever anticipated. I'll still be a bit more absent but I'll certainly be popping in a lot more often again.

I'm gonna start focusing on just sharing what I love. There was a time I took requests, but I burnt myself out a bit especially with old fandom loves coming back. I've had many ideas for many years and this blog was meant to be a vent for me and a little place for others to get a fix on something they may have thought would just never be made. I know I've scoured for more eclectic stuff as someone who loves brotherhood over ships and often left empty handed, but even just little blips of what I was craving were wonderful.

I know I can't be the only one so I'm back to sharing what's been on my brain and dumped onto my phone.

Day 3

We didn't find anyone upon inspection of the border, but fishbug was missing from its bucket.

Nazira and Rustam were on watch throughout the night, but the intruder never came back.

Well, because it never left. I found him upon waking up.

It's an intact male, 4-6 months, probably one of those released by government. I told em cats (and many other earth species) are highly invasive and will wreck havoc on environment. But what do I know I'm jUsT a DuMb fEmALe.

Ded Egor has a death wish. He caught the thing. The fishbug. Then cooked and ate it. If the cat did it, he guessed it's fine. He was right. That's not a venom gland, it's an ink sack. Now his beard is dyed blue. Well, I guess it's exactly how cavemen figured out what you can eat, but there were seventeen of us and we already lost one. An extremely stupid dog, but anyway! We're going to run out before our rations!

Zira and Tasya brought more fruits and we planted their seeds, too. Men are expanding the garden. Larisa, as a botanist, tries to classify new plants.

They ejected a capsule with walkie talkies! They also gave us medicines. I guess the fact that we are still kicking impressed them so much. Buttholes know more than they tell.

The same day, Daniel called, saying he's being attacked by a giant mosquito. We rushed to find him unconscious, with a hole in his stomach. His skin is pale, he probably lost a lot of blood. Saburo and Kristo are fighting for his life.

Pam called the head office for emergency lift. They responded that they "don't have resources" and "don't want to take unnecessary risk". The [AUTOMATICALLY_TAGGED_AS_INAPPROPRIATE] you mean? What did you see to pee your panties so much?!

The thing that attacked him didn't fly away because it ate too much blood and was too heavy to do so.

Looks a tiny bit like a fly or mosquito, but like bugfish it's a vertebrate, a big one, the size of a wolf. Also jawless, but snout is protruding into a proboscis with teeth on the end of it. We tried to put it down carefully to study, but Egor beat it up with a club and its stomach burst, spilling on my legs.

The thing is, the contents of the stomach were purple, not red. Sucking bugfish ink would be inefficient, since they are way too small. It would need a hundred, if not thousands of those. And the color isn't that intense. Did it suck blood out of a giant octopus previously? Dan is lucky it did, or it would suck out much more of his blood before its hunger is quenched. And I doubt he'd survive that.

Correction on previous notes: floatpod's bubbles aren't filled with air. They are filled with METHANE! Kids threw it in campfire to see it pop and it EXPLODED near a boiling cauldron. Only one person was injured in the process GUESS WHO! DING DING MOTHER[AUTOMATICALLY_TAGGED_AS_INAPPROPRIATE] DING! Yes, I have second degree burns all over my legs.

My hiking pants were drying from previous ordeal and I had very thin yoga pants on. Turns out, they aren't a great heat isolator! My body is hot pink below the bikini area all the way to ankle joints (rubber boots saved my feet). Also a piece of cauldron shot and scratched my leg. Kids got very minor burns from drops as I was mostly in the way of explosion. My insane luck, man.

Men carried me to the stream to cool off. Saburo is watching me so I don't drown if I pass out. He gave me ketorol, but I'm still in a lot of pain. Cat sits nearby, looking at something. Ghost hunting kitty business. Dan is stable, but still extremely weak, girls agreed to take turns watching sick people at night to make sure they're alright.

Obviously, I'm not in the mood to illustrate anything at the moment, but Stas provided his artistic iteration of the event

Keith, the kid who set off a bomb, says his imaginary friend told him to do so to see what happens, and asked him to apologize on his behalf. Classic.

Also I might have a slight brain or eye damage. I see things, or rather don't see certain things that I know were there! I'll try to sleep and see if my health improves.
