why do people think Yevgeny wasn't Mickey's son? in 3x06 there was clearly no condom used (not that Terry probably would have let Svetlana stop to get one), but there's no reason to think she wasn't using condoms with her regular clients. it's not Svetlana's fault that she was a tool used to rape Mickey—the sole blame for everything that happens in that entire situation belongs to Terry Milkovich and him alone—so why does it feel like it's just another way for people to shit on Svetlana for something that wasn't in her control? it's not as though she'd asked to get pregnant in the first place...

#stop giving svetlana shit just because terry was one of her clients—between him and sasha do you really think she had a chance to say no?#her attitude towards mickey is s4 is very easy to understand when you think about the fact that a) she's his age or maybe a year older #b) she is a person who knows she has to take what life gives her and make the best of bad situations #c) her entire future rests (so she thinks) on her and mickey making their marriage work and he was absorbed in ian (which the audience gets #but svet has no context for) and thus her feeling threatened is very understandable because mickey also won't stand up to his father #so yeah of course svet is gonna see terry as the one person who will put things the way they're supposed to be #but! it's after mickey comes out and he and ian fight everyone in the bar that she realizes mickey could be an ally to her #and she extends a hand in friendship because they're both stuck in this situation and yeah of course she wants him to stop being stupid #about yev—as she puts it “baby did not choose this either” which leads me to think she understands mickey's situation a little better now #but yev looks so much like mickey and has those big blue eyes of his (also evidence for baby mickey being blond)#I get that the whole child from rape thing isn't fun for mickey to have to deal with but women have to go through it all the time—like Svet #okay rant over I'm sorry I'm just...it puts a bad taste in my mouth whenever I see it in fic or meta that yev can't *possibly* be mickey's #mickey milkovich #svetlana yevgenivna #yevgeny milkovich #shameless

#there is an ART to killing characters and she would not make the cut #for a final season especially a killed character has to be carefully crafted ok #a killed character in the first season often triggers the whole rest of the plot. a killed character in the final season could finish it.#so the character who dies will probably have a big role in saving them AND GUYS SHE DOESNT EVEN KNOW ABOUT THE UPSIDE DOWN #WHY WOULD IT BE HER LMAO #it also has to be impactful on the character & audience but not TOO much on the characters because we wont see the aftermath of their death #which is why jonathan wont die bc will is the main character and his trauma is literally the whole reason for the show #so if jonathan died wills character arc wouldnt be complete #also why joyce and mike cant die #and karen dying is just stupid bc like i said she doesnt know anything but also the audience wouldnt really care if she died #you want the death of a character to make the audience FEEL SOMETHING #she had what 10 lines in s4?? be fr #‘eden thats just wishful thinking’ oh no its not….#because according to everything i just said one of the characters that makes the most sense to kill....#is steve #byler #stranger things

okay call me cynical but i'm at that point where i want five's story to end with him dying. i know a lot of people are probably going to disagree with me because it's going to feel like a slap in the face for him to die after everything he's gone through but i just feel like him having a bittersweet ending is way more satisfying to me than some wishy-washy 'everything worked out and they all lived happily ever after' no consequences kind of ending. i want a five who spent years trying to save his family from dying, always being the one to survive, always being the one left alone at the end of everything, to die saving his family. i want a five who realises it's him that's been causing their fates this entire time, that it's always been him, that five is the apocalypse because his messing with the timeline had made such a mess of things that the universe tried to take the hargreeves out of the equation entirely. give me a five who finally realises the only way to save them is to take himself out of the equation instead.

Yeah a teaser dropping on ST day would be cool. But can we agree that a DNA board reveal would be infinitely better?

okay i dont know how but i guess when i was first watching doc who i accidentally skipped waters of mars and never watched it. Alright well it’s bar none the most fucked up epsiode of this show ever guys that was harrowing. the fact that the actual plot mechanics and monsters kinda didnt matter literally at all it could have been any random thing but the entire ep hinged just on ten’s internal conflict was nutso. and they just never do that again. He was so scary.. The fact that not a single person was charmed by his charm and he was doing it on autopilot for no reason and they all just got scared and disturbed by him and when gemma chan was like It’s bigger on the inside it was in a tone of absolute HORROR. yell

I'm just gonna rant rq about dmc and the recent news

I get itsuno left and twt lowkey is all gloomy (I'm a little sad too) but I'm excited and interested to see what he'll cook up next. As for the series I'm ofc not sure we'll get a sixth but considering dmc v had a lot of popularity compared to the previous games I have a little hope Capcom won't abandon it. I also think dmc will gain some more popularity with the upcoming anime and renew interest in the series. I would love to see a new game but if it happens to be left alone, I think five has a good open ending.

#also idk if i'm making much sense i'm currently tired and have too much coffee in my system #but as someone who used to be really into hannibal and hoped for a s4 that never came #i get the sadness and disappointment when it comes to a fav series being abandoned/discontinued or whatever #but i personally can't see capcom leaving dmc to rest. not with v having such an open ending in addition to the anime coming up #kinda hope they don't do a remake bc i like the series how it is tbh #anyway mb for the tired rant yall twt got to me lmfao #devil may cry #saint shut up

RTD is so in love with David Tennant that it makes him look stupid, huh.

#listen friends i dont know what to feel #i love everyone involved #I'm so happy that Donna has her memories back and will spend the rest of her life with her best friend by her side #but that ending felt like it was straight out of a christmas Hallmark movie; my teeth ache from all that saccharine sweetness #I'll be able to justify it if RTD is setting the stage for bringing Tennant and Tate into his UNIT spin-off which seems to be in the works #if that's not the reason it's hard for me to swallow this plot twist with the biregeneration #firstly: RTD did something similar at the end of the fourth season—splitting the Doctor to “give” one version to Rose #it's a bit annoying to see him essentially do the same now by letting another version of the Doctor to stay with Donna #secondly: I missed the emotion in this #I spent a week bracing myself for heartbreak but we went a bit too far in the other direction #we got a cutesy ending where everything resolves through a deus ex machina #yet it’s those bitter and grief-soaked moments are what RTD has always excelled at #when it comes to the Doctor's regeneration and farewells to companions #it's hard to feel much about this plot development #some things should remain final and some goodbyes and endings are unavoidable #the conclusion of Rose’s arc (both from s2 and s4) or Donna's ending in s4 #were among the most emotionally intense moments in the history of television #I missed a bit of that here #perhaps if there were more bitterness in the 14th Doctor's ending if he had to pay some PRICE for this biregeneration #(like not getting his TARDIS #being told that the Fifteenth takes over the regeneration ability #and the Tennant Doctor will die of old age)#emotionally it would have provided viewers with a cool punch #without that it seems like RTD wanted to have his cake and eat it too #have a new Doctor and give his old characters a last-minute happy ending that doesn't make much logical sense #I was hoping to feel more considering how much I love these characters #but my main reaction is an eyeroll #on the positive side I really hope to see Neil Patrick Harris in the show again he was a great villain #and Ncuti Gatwa’s Doctor is already so freaking great!!! <3 #doctor who
