Happy thanksgiving from #thefliegs!

Hello there! I'm not sure if you would know the answer to this but I found a few months ago on Tumblr the numbers to the telephone booths in England in EPCOT and I just tried them out and they didn't work. Was I just tricked into this or do you know if they are supposed to work? I have friends who are there this week and I want to call them in the UK! Much appreciated if you know! Thanks!

They used to work, trust me I know.

I researched for you why they aren’t getting through and this is what I have found:

According to this, “the phones are completely out of service. So, I went to Guest Services to inquire. What I was told was that the phones are under re-furbishment and that there is no estimated date of completion.” There she took a picture and it looks like nothing is being worked on. “The only thing Mrs. All in WDW and I can speculate is that there is an upcoming re-furb to that area of the pavilion and the phones have been turned off in preparation for it. Or, the phone lines, themselves, are what is getting re-furbished.”

I tried calling Canada’s phone booth and got a busy signal. Maybe it still works? I’d try it a few times. I’m not getting through but maybe someone is on it. (1-407-827-9884).

I wish I could magically turn them on!! Or give you better news :/
