Geez... that whole VA thing was still going on with Viv. She's definitely upset and feeling defensive over it. But she had to expect it after people fell in love with the OG cast (hell it's why they all sound like the OG cast but not as good).

Also, she got this way when people questioned how much Kesha made vs the other VAs. And pointing out Erica not having a lot of lines to avoid paying her (but then Viv backpeddals on that, saying everything was written that way to start with. So... you do admit you're giving more screentime to male characters over females? Got it.)

By the way, anyone remember Steven Universe? Where Rebecca also got Broadway actors for the Diamonds? Patti Lupone I KNOW charges a fuckton. Also when they had Nicki Minaj? They had her for 1 episode, and made another using her old voice lines and a character even joking that "she's not technically in the episode do we still have to pay her? Yes? Fair enough." Then had 2 more episodes where Sugilite didn't speak at all.

I'm sorry Viv, but you can't tell me that people don't cost a lot of money. I work around the convention scene, and know of a lot of famous actors/writers who charge a guarantee fee (meaning they make a certain amount of money that a convention will provide for them if they don't make their money from fans) as well as charging the con a fuckload for their appearance. Yes that's different from VA, but the point remains.

Also, why have them sound like the OG voice cast? Cuz if you're really an artist, you'd know that no one can truly replace a VA. If a VA has talent for the character they're playing, then they ARE that character. Someone imitating them to the best of their ability will usually always be seen through and it will never be the same. (VA and love for art here). It's truly an insult to the OG cast to replace them only to have the new people sound like them, not allowing them to give their interpretation of their characters. Except Keith David. He just sounds like himself.

These people cost a lot of money. We aren't stupid. To Crowmere on Twitter, you have more bravery and courage than a lot of us ever will. Don't let them get to you. Viv absolutely shelled out a fuckload of money and the animation is suffering for it.

I mean you know I have to shoutout @hiddendreamerwriting again because I specifically love Caden and Markus from Make An Example. “Wow, Danny, you sure love tinies being sacrificed--” yeah well I’m a simple and predictable bitch okay let me vibe

Again, I don’t follow a lot of actual fandoms within the g/t tag, but Cat Naps  is a short n sweet BNHA fic I adore because I’m a sucker for nekos and borrowers :3c

Actually, one of the fandoms I did follow outside of g/t was HLVRAI, so I have a buttload I could list here but @trickstercheebs has a bunch of amazing oneshots ranging from tiny Gordon to tiny science team to tiny everyone in between. I always go back to this fluffy oneshot with sick!borrower!Gordon because sometimes even I need some fluff in my life.

I don’t know if Human Resources Violations quite counts as a g/t fic but it’s another (absolutely amazingly well done) HLVRAI fic which some size difference and eventual full on giant, monster Benery at the end so 🤷🏻‍♀️

Oh! And Sink Or Swimchesters has recently had giantmer!Sam and human!Dean cross paths after so much buildup!! Never got into Supernatural but you bet your ass I love terrifying yet soft hearted creatures trapped by a language barrier doing their best to take care of a stray tiny 

Last but not least off the top of my heeeeeead, the friend who wrote A Lucky Little Thing that I had mentioned in my first post also has her own original fic going called The Dragon’s Boredom! Actually in hindsight, I probably should have also included this in my fearplay list, but it definitely has a lot more plot and character arcs going compared to my stuff which is just Terror™️

Currently reading: Uh. Am I reading anything? I'm slowly working my way through the "Jigen Daisuke" tag on AO3 from oldest to newest, I guess that's the closest. Sometimes I go through a phase where I read piles of books in a day, sometimes I don't touch anything but fanfic for months (and not always too much of that).

Last TV series: Lupin III. I'm currently working my way through Part 4 sort of "back to back", watching each episode with the subs and then the dubs. The dubs didn't have the correct Yuji Ohno music and I haven't seen the subs before, so it's a hell of an experience not just hearing the Japanese cast for the first time on these episodes but hearing Tornado or Zenigata March and just seeing what a damn *difference* it makes, having the right music, especially now that I know the music enough to recognize it.

I'm kind of glad I saw the dub before I knew what was missing, because the dub cast is good, but the music... god, "With a Gun In My Hand" is practically a different episode entirely without Tornado, without the history of having the same theme tie together every damn time Jigen does something badass since 1977. "To Hear You Sing Again" is a *completely* different episode without the moment where Yuji Ohno reaches thirty-six years into his back catalogue and pulls out fucking "Fire Treasure" and smacks you right in the heart with it.

Last movie: Uh. I'm not sure if it was Mystery of Mamo or Legend of the Gold of Babylon. I know the last one I saw *part* of was Mystery of Mamo, because I was doing a breakdown of Kobayashi's performance versus Epcar's in a particular scene for a couple of friends. (Kobayashi-sama brings the anguished screaming Lupin's name like nobody else -- I haven't heard Akio-san make an attempt yet, but until and unless he pulls that off, Kobayashi-sama is the one and only. Epcar knows he doesn't have the same vocal range, but he uses the magic powers of being the dub writer and knowing his own strengths to kick me in the gut possibly even harder than Kobayashi, which is a fucking *achievement*. Usually Epcar's a solid 9.5 but Kobayashi is an 11, when it comes to the Jigen angst.)

Currently working on: God, what aren't I working on. We've got the "Disreputable Company" sequel, JiZeni porn-with-feels and a ton of plot, on track to hit at least 50k by the end. We've got the "A Little Vacation" sequel in two parts, FuJigen PWP with snark and cuddles. We've got the "Silence of Ishikawa Goemon XIII" sequel, which is a lot more lighthearted than you'd expect from the title being "The Funeral of Jigen Daisuke" but it's still got a royal fuckton of feels, some of which we have yet to write. We've got that one PWP involving Lupin decorating his people with stolen treasures and taking very sexy photos.

We've got the G-rated GoeYata piece for @tabbiewolfreblogs slice-of-life zine "Between Heists", which needs a final polish once I can get a minute -- I'm pretty focused on the Disreputable Company sequel right now, because we have the rest of the outline all complete, we just gotta actually write it. I've got a brief Jigen praise kink thing somewhere that also just needs a final polish and a title if I can *find* it. There's a werewolf thing I was working on but I got too distracted by the human parts of the porn and ran out of steam, which I might see if I can pick up again. And there's a really complicated thing that may or may not ever see the light of day, which involves closeted repressed transfemme Jigen and also involves me writing a shitton of really personal trauma-coping stuff...
