Hmm... I think the war would do a lot to change him/his friends, even if everyone survived. Both that and 'no war' are hard to say because... well, your experience of the world changes who you are more than anything, so it depends on the particular AU

I'll do 'if the war didn't happen' and 'if it did but they survived':

If the war didn't happen:

We have a Remus who is used to relying on others. His parents cared for him, Albus bent over backwards sticking his own neck out as a new Headmaster just to give him an education - and his friends move heaven and earth for him. Eagerly. That's been his experience of Lycanthropy: Having to hide, but constant encouragement. He doesn't know what its like for most werewolves out there, he hasn't met any. He is naturally more 'mature' and understands he is dangerous... but only has close-calls. He is reckless, unable to resist temptation.

He ALWAYS struggles with that - but losing all his friends taught him how to go without, and convinced him he was better off without. But without a war he has never been without. He has only ever had hands patting him on the back - his parents, his teachers, his friends - saying "Go on, Moony - go for it! We'll back you up."

I don't think he would even really think of himself as a werewolf. He will fully believe in 'furry little problem' copium. Which in some ways is good! It's a more confident, adjusted, healthy Remus... ...but its a more reckless one.

If he wants to do a job, he will go for it - even if werewolf segregation ways disallow it. He can hide his Lycanthropy just fine, right? His full moons are AWESOME when his friends look after him. And they do - they spend a whole night every month as adults staying up till dawn just... making sure he doesn't kill anyone. Gets harder as you get older... If anything happens - James supports him, money-wise. If he meets someone and likes them... he has three whole wingmen.

He would be nervous about eventually telling his secret - that might be the hardest thing for him to do, he will hold off on it for as long as possible - but his friends accepted him, right?! He's never hurt anyone - he's basically safe. Tame. He's just normal! He can do all the things that he wants to do. Normal life, Normal love, Normal sex... just one night of being hairy. No big deal, right? ...Right?...

...The problem with not engaging with Lycanthropy, treating it a bit laissez-faire - is that he is never engaging with the realities of it. He is ignoring his illness in order to live a fantasy life. He is contagious, he is dangerous, he has limits - and there are unfortunately societal punishments for him and his loved ones he isn't taking into account. And neither will they. Do you think Sirius or James will give a shit about "it is a crime to knowingly hide a werewolf"...? They're already illegal animagi.

But they aren't kids anymore. James has a wife and a son. Sirius' family won't back him up. Who knows what Peter does - probably something normal. Astronomy. But Remus can't just 'be normal'. It's reckless to think that way. It is reckless to ignore your disability - especially when it can unfairly put other people in danger - their life, health or the law.

The moment something goes wrong he has a long way to fall. If he bites someone. If someone snitches on him to the Ministry. Does he know his spit is contagious in wounds, even as a human...? He can't go around kissing Harry's scraped knees better. He can't be laissez-faire with his full-moons living with a partner. He can't push himself when recovering just to keep up appearances of being normal, to keep a job, to keep up a lie.

If ANYTHING happens and if the law is involved... Albus Dumbledore isn't particularlly powerful. He won't be able to sit as Chief Warlock (chairman) AND ALSO defend Remus, so he will choose defense. (IF he is Cheif Warlock without the First War. that might have been a title awarded to him for his services. He might just be Mugwump, which is not relevant at all.) He might be able to avoid having anyone go to Azkaban - if Remus didn't bite/kill. But he can't stop the law coming down on him as a 'monster' that needs to be segregated. Remus has never been seen as a monster before. Only feared it.

His friends would stand by him - but it would damage them, too. If James/Sirius/Lily are aurors: they knowingly sheltered a werewolf. That could be a career ending accusation. If James a quidditch player and Lily a potioneer or whatever - the same. They stand by a werewolf. Werewolves are despised.

The guilt for Remus? Crushing. Holy shit. It would break him. ...A bit like how it went in canon. he blamed himself for James, Lily and Peter. 'If I wasn't a werewolf this wouldn't have happened.'

If there was a war, but they all survived:

The difference here - is that Remus has learned about Werewolves. He has not only been distant with his friends but has been living like werewolves are forced to - not like a princess with a sugar daddy. He knows how they are seen, how they are treated, how they are made to think about society... and how much be has to lose.

Seeing other people with his disability, from different backgrounds, dealing with it in different ways - it is good for him. It gives him a healthier 'fear' of his Full Moons, a deeper and more responsible understanding of how his body and affliction words. He isn't 'normal', he cannot be 'normal' - he is like them. The world fucking sucks and he has to be careful.

But he still has so much support. He just knows just how lucky he is. I think that would change him into a more responsible man. More like the man he was slowly becoming at the end of the books - but with less trauma. A whole support network and deep knowledge of what his disability is and means... I think he would actually fight for himself?!? He can't do it alone, but with known names and talents like the Potters, Sirius Black, Dumbledore - I think he would actually grow a fucking spine and try to change things for Werewolves... because he never wants to lose what he has. A voice against Greyback.

How would he fuck? Uh... he wouldn't dive into a relationship, knowing the dangers of it. 'Werewolves don't usually breed' - he would have learned this well as a spy. He wouldn't have any desire to prove how 'normal' he is to himself and others. He would probably write off a relationship, at least 'until things are better for werewolves'... but fail, just like with Tonks. He would be nervous, and cautious... but not a wreck. He will worry but he wont run. Like just an anxiety disorder rather than world-ending terror at the idea of getting his dick wet/ass eaten.

Probably how he was when he went back to Tonks while she was pregnant: needs reassurance, but is staying put where his love is.

How i perceive Remus Lupin

disclaimer: im not gonna talk about his life after the war, after he lost all of his friends bc i don't want this to be depressing.

Basics:

Remus John Lupin

Born March 10th 1960

Bisexual and Demisexual

he/him cis male. (Love the trans hc though)

Gryffindor

REMUS LUPIN WAS A DISABLED MAN. HE HAD A PHYSICAL DISABILITY!!!

WELSH white/jewish/arab/black idc i love all of these hcs he just HAS to be born in Wales.

Life, family and history:

His family was working class, his dad worked a minimum wage job at the Ministry of Magic and his mother was a History teacher.

He was born very loved, he was so welcomed and celebrated.

He spoke welsh fluently and had a very strong welsh accent.

Hope and Lyall’s marriage was happy and it was obvious they loved each other. They were that leftist couple where the woman was treated like a person and the others would get all surprised. They went to protests and riots together, they were very open minded and believed that love was the answer for everything.

They lived on a farm, a small cottage on wales. The house itself was small but they had a garden and a huge space in the back where they raised chickens and an old dog who grew up with Hope.

His parents were maximalists, their house was small and full of stuff, full of books, candles, mugs on random places and cute decorations.

He was a mummy's boy, his mother was his best friend. He and Hope always had their afternoon tea together, each reading a book or gossiping about their neighbors. She loved to hug him. She always made him biscuits and she was an awesome cook.

Lyall was also a great dad, he read to Remus every night, he took Remus on walks and taught him carpentry (because that was his hobby).

Lyall made every single furniture in the house, their favorite was the bookshelf he made as a wedding gift.

They married at 22 and had Remus at 25.

They spent their weekends making picnics, playing in the grass, watching the sunset. They took Remus to the beach on the last sunday of every month for good luck and to wash away bad energy, starting the month right.

Whenever Remus got sad or had a bay day Lyall would make him hot chocolate and bring it to him.

After the attack on Remus, their relationship got a bit rocky but they got through it. Their love for their son was the greatest thing so they worked it out.

After the attack, they got extremely overprotective of Remus. Wouldn't let him go out, wouldn't let him make friends, they doomed Remus for a lonely life out of fear that their son would suffer.

Lyall didn't leave them after the attack, yes the guilt and regret almost took him, but he stayed. Because his son needed to be taken care of, he needed to be loved and so did his wife.

Their house was very secluded, they didn't have any neighboring farms or houses, so nobody noticed the screams of the change and they were safe. Remus did not go to school and was homeschooled until he was 9.

He had a cool lesbian aunt (Lyall’s sister)

They only let him go to Hogwarts because Dumbledore himself went to convince them to, saying that Remus would be safe and everything would work out. Dumbledore did not do this because he was good, he did it because he knew someday there would come a war, and that having a werewolf on his side would be useful. It was part of his strategy.

Hope got very sick when Remus turned 16. She had breast cancer. She died when he was 20.

They both accepted Remus warmly after he came out. Lyall always knew ever since Remus was a kid. When they first met Sirius they figured out he was in love with their son and that their son loved her back.

Lyall died in 1997. He helped his son all throughout the 80s, he took care of him, he helped him, loved him.

Hogwarts years:

His first friend was Peter. Peter was quieter than his other two roommates and easier to talk to at first, because he was not as agitated and as nosy. They befriended playing chess (Remus was terrible at it but he wanted to try)

Remus was very smart but he studied really hard, nothing in life came easy to him. He was hard on himself and craved academic validation.

His favorite teacher was, of course, Prof McGonnagal. He had Madam Pomfrey as a motherly figure (even though nobody would even come close to his mam)

He loved DADA and care of magical creatures, he was actually quite terrible at potions and it was his worst subject.

He was the prank master, he always came up with their best ideas, but he rarely got detention because he was a great liar and had an awesome poker face.

He got extremely close to James in 3rd year, for some reason, in 1973 they were inseparable (probably had a crush on each other). James always followed him to the library and Remus went to see him at quidditch practice. James was his best friend in the whole world, they could talk about everything with ease, no shame and no filters, James was always accepting.

His platonic soulmate girl best friend was Lily, though. Lily was one of the first people to figure out he was a werewolf, she was the first person he came out to. They just understood one another, just with a look they shared a whole conversation, he could read her better than anyone. The whole school thought for years that they were dating, but their relationship was exclusively platonic. They were like brother and sister.

Every single person had a crush on him at least once in their lives. It was impossible not to.

He taught younger students with subjects they were struggling. He made sort of a club and many people joined in, specially on exam season.

Random headcanons:

Remus is actually the most complex and interesting person. He is so soft and easy to break, he loves tea and hot chocolate and reading in the rain, he is also hard and brute and loudmouthed, he fights people when he is angry and he can be mean if he wants to.

He drinks whiskey and smokes cigarettes and pot, he listens to loud music and goes to protests and he also reads romance novels from the 1800’s and talks about philosophy and greek tragedies, Remus has layers, PEOPLE HAVE DEPTH. He doesn't just have one aesthetic or one shallow personality, Remus is much more than the soft boy or the cunt.

He started smoking marijuana at 15, his Da gave it to him to help soothe the pre moon pain.

His disability was an intrinsic part of himself, it affected his mood, the way he behaved around people, it affected his social life and as he got older, it affected his mobility as well.

He started using a cane at all times to walk when he turned 27, before that he only used it after bad moons or before when he was too sore.

He had an absolutely filthy mouth, swore like a saylor.

He appeared to be quiet and shy but when you got to know him he was actually very easy to talk to and always managed to surprise you. To people who didn't know him, he seemed very mysterious but in all honesty he was just secluded. He had trouble talking about his feelings, about his thoughts, about everything, he thought he was a burden and a mistake, but he knew how to put up a face.

He listened to rock, glam rock, hard rock, rock n’ roll and punk (and jazz when he was with his mam)

He did a lot of drugs, it was the 70s and Remus loved drugs, he snorted coke, he took shrooms, he smoked weed ALL THE TIME, he took acid, and every single hallucinogen you can think of. It was just a phase in his life, he only used them socially, on casual occasions, after he turned 19 he just stopped. He had a high tolerance for alcohol but he didn't really like to. He used drugs to keep his mind quiet but he was very uncomfortable with it because he lost control of himself, of his mind and he had enough of that feeling of helplessness once a month.

He was a marxist-lenininist, a big radical leftist (like the rest of his family) and he went to protests, walks and manifestations. He gave everything on those and sometimes got a few hits from the police. He mainly fought for workers rights and unionized since he was 15.

His laugh lit up the world.

He secretly loved puns and make terrible jokes sometimes. He was great at self deprecating jokes.

Sarcasm KING.

He ate a lot, everyone was scared of much much he ate and never seemed to gain any weight (because of the werewolf metabolism).

He loved reading the news.

He drank his tea with a slice of lemon and drank it unsweetened (when he was feeling sick he sweetened it with honey) and put just a spoonful of milk in it. He wasn't much of a coffee person but he drank it occasionally.

When he and Sirius moved in together, just the two of them, Remus gave them a wooden spoon he carved himself. He carved little stars on it and a moon, a half moon because that was his favourite, it meant that he was himself, and that he had full control over his body and mind.

He always wanted to be a teacher. He loved helping and teaching people but he was very insecure about it.

Physical appearance:

Tall, 193cm. Big nose wonky nose (he broke it a few times, either punches or the moon). Freckled face, light brown eyes and sandy wavy/curly brown hair. He was very skinny had some muscle. Ugly hot (so so so so hot). Crooked teeth and the most beautiful smile. His lips were full and soft and deeply red, almost purple.

Style:

Grandpa sweaters, wool sweaters, jeans, overalls (especially when he was taking care of the farm). Caqui pants, plain white shirts. Didn't really like wearing clothes that showed his scars, so he avoided wearing shorts and short sleeved shirts around people he didn't know well, when he became an adult he decided to not give a fuck. He wore loads of oversized band t-shirts and jean jackets.

Color pallet: Brown, beige, olive green (and green variations), petrol blue (and blue variations), mustard yellow.

Sirius was literally the love of his life, they were connected by the red string. Their love was the most raw, pure, intense, true love in the world. They were each other's soulmates. He never stopped loving Sirius, not even for a second, not even after all the mistakes he made, his love for Sirius was unconditional. They understood each other, they talked about everything. He literally worshipped the ground his girlfriend walked on. Stan wolfstar forever.

Creature feature,

For my FMP I have made a poster to represent my project, this poster looks reminiscent of an 80’s creature feature horror film poster which usually are colourful, stylised, focus on the featuring creature and have a large title or tag line from the film.

Here I will list 5 films with images of there posters and compare them to my own poster, explaining the differences and similarities between them as well as things I would change about my own:

An American Werewolf in London (1981): Directed by John Landis, this film is about an American tourist in England who is attacked by a werewolf and subsequently begins to transform into one himself. Known for its groundbreaking special effects and makeup by Rick Baker, the film balances horror with dark humor effectively. This movies poster is striking, the werewolf’s piercing yellow eyes and its slobbering maw positioned right above a small village with the moon slightly off to the left lighting up two travellers through the fog, all together this creates a beautiful scene and an enthralling atmosphere, on top of this the films title being easily visible makes this poster successful at its purpose, to advertise the film, while also looking so amazing. The way the artist also creates this sense of grandeur with the scenery being so far away creates an imposing sense of scale. My poster and this poster have a few similarities mostly the use of a foggy background and well represented scale.

Razorback (1984): Directed by Russell Mulcahy, this horror film follows Carl Winters, an American searching for his missing wife in the Australian Outback. He discovers she was killed by a gigantic, ferocious wild boar. Teaming up with a local hunter named Jake Cullen, who has his own vendetta against the beast, Carl faces off against the deadly razorback in a desperate fight for survival. The poster for this film is quite different from mine, where as my poster solely focuses on the basajaun this movies poster features both it’s featured creature as well as the lead protagonist who are situated around two different scenes one of an ATV in a dark forest of dead trees and another of a wind turbine off in the distance over shadowed by a dusky sun hanging low in the sky, all of this together creates an awesome poster which is successful at its purpose. Oddly the same as the last poster this poster shares the concept of a foggy dark forest with my poster aswell as having a heavenly body in the background but other than sunlight being visible on the background that’s where there similarities end.

Prophecy (1979): Directed by John Frankenheimer, "Prophecy" is a horror film centered around a young doctor, Robert Verne, and his wife, Maggie, who journey to the forests of Maine to investigate reports of environmental damage caused by a paper mill. As they investigate, they encounter mutated creatures, including a massive, mutated bear known as the "Katahdin." The couple teams up with a local Native American tribe to confront the creature, only to discover that it is a result of chemical pollution. As tensions rise and the creature threatens their lives, they must find a way to stop it before it wreaks havoc on the surrounding environment and humanity itself. The poster for this movie is perhaps one of my favourite horror film posters of all time, it’s eye catching having bright vibrant colours, it’s horrifying featuring a disfigured bear foetus, and it leaves a lot up to the viewer to find out making them want to see this film for example the text at the top references a “she” if you have seen this movie you would know it’s a mutated mother grizzly bear however if u hadn’t you would just be left to ponder who lives and who is going to find you. This poster does a lot different from mine having no background opting instead to have it all black, it also has more than just the title text having a daunting tagline and this posters colour palette focuses on reds and oranges where as mine focuses on greens and pastels. One last thing to add is this poster had a variation which showed two younger states of the foetus which I personally found to be so very disturbingly eye catching.

Critters (1986): Directed by Stephen Herek, "Critters" is a sci-fi horror-comedy film that follows a small rural town terrorized by a group of carnivorous aliens known as "Critters." The story revolves around the Brown family, who must defend their home from the relentless invaders with the help of two shape-shifting bounty hunters. As the Critters wreak havoc and devour everything in their path, the Browns and the bounty hunters engage in a battle to protect their town and ultimately uncover the aliens' true intentions. With humor, suspense, and plenty of thrills, "Critters" delivers a fun and action-packed adventure against extraterrestrial foes. The poster for this movie is quite odd featuring not just the creatures but most of the protagonists even further the creatures are barely shown and are in cages underneath the protagonists. This poster features the title and a tagline in an organic way having the tagline above the central focus of the poster and the title just below, a key part where my poster differs is having its title slightly off to the left to take up dead space where as this posters title covers up a little bit of the featured creatures. If I were to add anything to my poster from this it would be its usage of symmetry in its layout.

The Relic (1997): Directed by Peter Hyams, "The Relic" is a horror film set in the Chicago Museum of Natural History. The story follows Lieutenant Vincent D'Agosta and Dr. Margo Green as they investigate a series of grisly murders that coincide with the arrival of a mysterious artifact from a South American tribe. As the body count rises and strange occurrences plague the museum, D'Agosta and Green discover that a genetic experiment gone wrong has created a monstrous creature that hunts its prey in the dark corridors of the museum. With time running out, they must find a way to stop the creature before it claims more victims and escapes into the city. Combining elements of science fiction, mystery, and horror, "The Relic" delivers a thrilling and suspenseful tale of survival against a relentless and deadly foe. The poster below is rather different from all of the other featured posters, having a very restricted colour range as well as by comparison being basic in high contrast to the 4 others I have compared my poster too, however it shares many similarities with my own, having a basic overall layout and using blocky colours to achieve a bigger sense of detail in the negative space, other than this tho it is still very much it’s own poster having a background consisting of a few scratches and deep reds.

That evening, Kana needs some time to herself.

When will her youngest child, Hex, learn her lesson? She’s been uncontrollable on this trip! Normally shy and cautious, Hex pushes her boundaries and gets herself into so much trouble!

Today was the final straw. Yes, it was great that she got her cycling milestone. But, she didn’t listen to her mothers and went riding away from their holiday rental. She could have gotten badly hurt from her dangerous bike riding. Or worse, she could have hurt someone else! Kana sternly told Hex off for her antics and confiscated her bike. She’s been in a bad mood since.

Kana’s wives, Reed and Ivy, understand the struggle and promise to keep everything under control until she comes back. They’ve apologised for volunteering her to teach Thorne and Hex how to ride their bikes, knowing how stressful it was. They were just teasing their wife - but know they took things a step too far.

Everything’s forgiven - the makeup woohoo was awesome - but Kana needs to let out her frustration in a healthy way. As soon as she steps out the front door, she transforms into her werewolf form and lets the wolf take over. She explores the neighbourhood. She goes hunting. Her stress slowly seeps out of her as the hours tick by.

Just before sunrise, Kana comes back home. She curls up on the front lawn, sleeping under the soothing moonlight. Tomorrow, the mums need to keep a tight rein on Hex.

No, that part can stay safely locked up for the rest of eternity as far as he's concerned. He's only just gotten Dream back into his life, and he doesn't dare ruin it any more than he already did in 1889. The werewolf thing, though, that's easy.

-She runs a brothel. Because let’s be honest. That’s what the babe house always was. It’s a very employees first kind of establishment, though, and Donna is not going to hesitate to support her ladies to get other jobs if they want them or to break the wrist of a ‘ungentlemanly’ customer.

-She has loads of siblings as a kid, but they were all turned into werewolves during an attack, and instead of let herself have werewolf children, Urla killed them all. Traumatising as fuck.

-She’s technically Tu’Lan, but since her family have magicks, they sort of moved around a lot. So mostly Tu’Lan, with some other stuff mixed in.

-She wears as much jewellery as she can fit on her body.

-Buff. Not as much as Katelyn or Kiki, but she’s got to pull her weight in Phoenix Drop, so the physical labour has left her with some muscle.

-Honestly most of the men in Phoenix Drop have had a thing for Donna at one point. She’s honestly gorgeous.

-Some elven blood, but like so many generations back, it’s not really hot any effect on her.

-She never really wanted kids. Just imagined herself marrying some rich dude and living as his hot wife until her untimely demise and her artistic side piece would write some world-famous poem about it. But she couldn’t ask for anything better than her grimey, half-broke, merchant boytoy and their four kids.

-She is a bit of a painter. She doesn’t get the time to do much with it, but it’s a fun little hobby and Logan likes to sell her art occasionally.

-Logan always tries to buy her nice clothes when he can, even if they can’t really afford it. He just likes to make her smile.

-She has dimples

-The hot bi wife to Logan’s greasy het bf.

-She has excellent gaydar.

It perfectly answer my questions ☺️ also for the fics ideas I don't know how far with AU you want to go with, but hear me out.

For Mawis I have two ideas like a Greek god AU with Lewis being Persephone and Max Hades. But I'm talking pre ancient Greece Persephone the one who was so feared we don't even know if Persephone is her real name. And I'm basing myself on this video of overly sarcastic production : https://youtu.be/Ac5ksZTvZN8?si=_08oj2oKvWlTZvTQ

My idea would be that Max/Hades was wondering what it was like on earth, especially since Lewis/Persephone wanted to come back to it so badly. And so after more than two millenia of staying in the underworld ruling it, he decided to let the judges of the underworld rule it for a while.

And so Hades disguise himself as a simple human. Powers being caged so he won't use them accidentally. What he finds out when he comes to the surface is a really strange and different world. So he ask a woman for an explanation and at first she looks at him strangely buy in a way she trust him and start speeling everything to him. That plus him actually doing a deep dive into her memory to get the most important informations.

So Hades looks at this world and if he can admit that some things in it are worth it other absolutely not. He was wondering when he got attacked by some random dudes. Hades wasn't aware that his choice of clothing would make him an easy target.

He is held down and getting the beating of his life when suddenly Lewis/Persephone appears. He has a dopey smile seeing his wife and in the next second those humans are memories.

And you can go with it for something else. I just want Protective Persephone/Lewis over Hades/Max. And then Lewis showing Max what he missed and them enjoying a little vacation in Europe. (Also I kinda like bottom Lewis 😅 just a preference thing).

Now onto the second idea, a royalty AU, with Lewis being the king and Max the fallen prince of the defeated kingdom. And it's not really developed in my mind so feel free to explore the idea even for a little drabble or something. I hate my writing style in English so this is why I'll probably won't write it.

The husbands 😊 : The classical vampire/werewolf one, with Christian being the vampire and Toto the werewolf. Because why not?

There's also the one where Toto is death itself and saves Christian from his time but by doing so, trap Christian in an eternal loop. The only way to escape it is either becoming Death compagnon (whatever that can mean) or find a way to die that even death can't prevent.

And finally, the shifter AU, the one where they can shift into a wolf and a fox. I kinda mixed in my head this AU with Toto as death AU. Toto taki'g revenge on the whole grid because they killed Lewis. And as his wrath was hitting them Christian made it. Then Toto lost control and shifts into his wolf form before launching toward Christian set on killing him. Christian afraid shift incontrolably into his fox form and Toto stops dead in his track. He wants to kill Christian but if he's a shifter like Toto then he is in danger because Bono and James are coming he can feel it and they don't know better than to kill any shifters on site. Because shifters are dangerous. Toto himself hides from them. So he let Christian go with the promise that next time they saw each other he will kill him. And Christian says he will do the same as now Max is also dead.

Probably not the best ideas here but we'll at least I hope it can make you laugh 💜

OMG, so many ideas! I love it! It’s straight up fantasy, which I really like. It’s my favourite genre to read! Maybe I should write it more.

I mean, I love Greek God AUs, especially when they feature Hades/Persephone as main characters, so I’ll definitely take a closer look at that one and see what I can do! And OOF Royalty AUs are awesome, I will probably do something with that one as well at some point! And the Death personified one…I LOVE IT! And a Dark Romance with a werewolf and a vampire? Good lord, I so wanna write that! Or read it, if someone’s cracked the code already.

I’m not sure I’m great at (shape)shift AUs but I do love the idea. Especially when it has (loss of) control as a theme. So who knows, perhaps in the future.

Today we're visiting the Tia family, where we have our first 2nd generation couple and their kids. I know Lovetar Imago (now Tia) will end up being the oldest teenager of her generation, but I don't care about this lack of sync between families, especially that you know how my mortality rolls go...

At the very beginning of the round the heir, Zet Tia, wanted to ask his new bride on a date, so the newlyweds had their 'honeymoon'.

I was actually really surprised Lovetar kept rolling the 'gain a skill' want. It must have been because her romance wants got fulfilled all the time because of the dates. She behaved more like a knowledge sim than her husband did, besides not wanting to see ghosts. Her husband aspired to see the ghost of his mom, which came true.

The Tia household was also lucky enough to get a genie lamp (probably because Lovetar is a sim who maxed out 2 hobbies). I might make getting the dusty old lamp into some sort of a milestone, just like domesticating the wolves, which will hopefully happen soon.

The weather was quite mild on this lot. Noone was on the brink of a heatstroke and they all even lost their sunburns.

Zet's younger sister, Mutneferet, was initially rolled to be a Romance sim, but I overrulled it, because I can't just keep having female Romance sims, especially that her brother's wife is already one... So I rolled again and she's a Fortune sim, which fits better. Their father is also a Fortune sim after all, and I like the idea of children sharing goals with their parents, especially if their parents' life dreams were never fulfilled.

Mutneferet managed to get Gold Fishing and Gold Gardening Badges shortly after aging up, which is great.

Zet and Lovetar's next child managed to survive (so no miscarriages for Lovetar). Unfortuantely, the mother paid the ultimate price for their heir being born...

The baby boy was named Zephaniah. He's a gray-eyed redhead. Both of their kids got the eye colour of their grandmothers. He is an Aquarius, so he shares mother's star sign. Personality-wise he's quite similar to her, with 6 neat and 4 shy points. He's also as active as his dad (7). He has 9 playful, and 9 nice points.

His older sister, Lovi, is an Aquarius as well. She's just as neat (6), active (6), and playful (9) as her mom. She's also as outgoing as her dad (6). And she has 8 nice points. Lovi naturally went into aspiration failure when her mom died, despite having learnt all of the toddler skills and the nursery rhyme.

Totally off topic CC list, because Satiah's ghost looks a bit different... I got this awesome plantsim skin default. I'm still experimenting with my supernatural defaults, but there are for sure some I like, e.g. the awesome correlated werewolf skins. For now I also put this vampire skin in my game (it has pink eyes). And I got rid of the witch skin and the sparkles... And did I mention I also got the spectral cat mods... and a spectral assistant replacement, as well as a servo replacement... And even a magical broom instead of the cleanbot! I need to get a witch in town some day. And it's spooky season soon!

And yes, I know there are a lot more... I got the supernatural garden and juicer (there's also the wooden version)... There's the fairy mod and the fairy house, but I need to incorporate just the regular occults at first... I know there's TSM Grim replacement, but I like the vanilla one enough.

BTW If you haven't already, definitely grab the favourite colour mod! I use the engagement ring mod and the date flower mod. They're not very historical, but who cares, better than vanilla maxis ones and so customizable!

And maybe the ones he killed he saw something in them that needed to die? Either because they were bad/evil or because the negative magic felt a threat from something in them?

If it was that he got tainted with the icky magic, maybe thats deaton related?

Like deaton felt the magic/power at the nemeton n thot that's where it came from but he was using nogi as a filter?

Like laundering money but filtering n 'cleaning' magic?

The stump gained further power when Scott, Stiles Stilinski, and Allison Argent performed a druid ritual to locate their parents.

The three students' sacrificial "deaths" fully charged the Nemeton and it is now broadcasting at full power to all the supernatural elements within the Teen Wolf Universe.

In More Bad Than Good, someone pulls out a freshly grown piece of the tree which causes fireflies to form into humanoid beings.

Noshiko Yukimura reveals that the ritual done by Scott, Stiles, and Allison did to power up the Nemeton also released the Nogitsune she had imprisoned there. (The Fox and the Wolf)

Noshiko lied about their deaths powering up Nemeton

Doesn't make sense, as doesn't seem to have gotten any more powerful

If Nemeton had actually been corrupt/needed cut down (even for natural reasons such as rot-tho pretty sure magic would keep healthy), you would NOT make magic powerful containers from it

At some point after that, the box fell into the hands of The Calaveras.

Derek, Peter, and Braeden find it hidden in a large chest made of Mountain Ash and filled with sawdust from the same type tree.

It is clearly stored in such a way as to keep supernatural creatures out.

The top of the cylinder is decorated with a carving of the triskelion (or Triskele) symbol, a popular werewolf symbol.

Inside there are five circular recesses, at the time of its discovery each held a single werewolf claw. (More Bad Than Good)

The box seems designed to be used to apply the claws as well.

Each claw sits in its own recess and when Peter's hand is jammed inside - it lines up perfectly to embed the claws under his own.

Because of the residual power, the box is used to contain the Nogitsune spirit in its housefly form. (The Divine Move)

Plus why call specifically for possession of a 'demon'? Its not like she had never been in that type of sitch before in her almost 1000 yrs because humans are utter assholes.

And she didn't ever fall so hard in lurve before that at her age?

Yes instinct is to survive, but human is supposed to only be a form she takes.

So she woulda been okay.

Plus, u dont automatically bring possession by a demon as ur go-to.

Unfortunately, FTD is also associated with a shorter lifespan. Average life expectancy is 7 to 13 years after the start of symptoms.

So its likely she already had symptoms when they met n he just thought of as quirks or never actually realized the difference cuz didn't know her before symptoms

According to the Sheriff in Alpha Pact, she died 8 years ago.

According to the file seen in Silverfinger, she died in 2004.

These two combined don't match up with the fact that it was still the autumn of 2011 in Beacon Hills when this information was provided.

If she had died at midnight on January 1st 2004 it would be just 7 years, 9 months at the time the Sheriff was talking to Melissa McCall and Chris Argent under the Nemeton.

She died after suffering from frontotemporal dementia.

According to the Sheriff in Alpha Pact, she was hospitalized and Stiles was with her when she died.

According to the file seen in Silverfinger, she was suffering symptoms similar to those her son was experiencing during the first half of Season 3(b).

In Riddled - Stiles explains that she suffered from frontotemporal dementia, a shrinkage of the brain that leads to dementia and death.

And noah didn't go yo hospital when he was told to. Yeah, maybe he coulda pushed it away or vlown it off, but he also would've likely accepted it as a possibility and reacted, especially when his reaction to supernatural reveal is considered.

It would also be another reason he would hit the bottle so hard.

Anger n guilt n frustration, along with grief n love.

All of that is more than enuf to drown out his kids needs.

Plus hes such a reminder.

Especially if he had found solace in the rough times by working more. So it had already become a coping mechanism.

That hallucination of him accusing stiles coulda been all made up by stiles being so young n all the feels involved.

Or something that happened where Sheriff misplaced the blame he felt onto stiles cuz he couldn't face his own overwhelming feels.

Or a combo of the two.

It could explain why took him so long to move on. Also why he froze everything pertaining to claudia. Also why he holds her as perfect, tho she wasn't.

Stiles would've seen her as a little kid sees their parent. Perfect and amazing. So not reliable.

And that sheriff had that version of claudia dreamed up when stiles was forgotten?

Especially when u remember most ppl r not perfect, even when they r dead n u dont wanna talk smack about em or u miss em.
