i think i liked it better when i didn't understand the obsession with platonic vs romantic. whenever i was watching the x files, all throughout my life, it didn't matter because the love between mulder & scully was always so obvious to me. i cannot express how genuinely i love their relationship and journey. their love & the setbacks & struggles & the lengths they go to, and how nothing ever stopped them. they just took their time. i think there's something so special about it.
