i think what’s frustrating is that you’re kinda required to have a strong opinion about solas to potentially get the most out of your choices for dav. having one of only three worldstate options be how you want to handle him is so strange for something that, to me, just felt like a pretty random inconsequential dialogue choice during trespasser. it felt like an immediate reaction to the situation, not an action plan

because honestly my inquisitor wouldn’t really care. he’s done saving the world and has just had a pretty major traumatic post-saving-the-world adventure while dealing with what is basically a very painful terminal illness… he wants nothing to do with any of it anymore! solas can be someone else’s problem! he would NOT spend the next decade trying to figure out what solas is up to, he would get as far away from all that bullshit as possible and try to live a peaceful life now that he’s suddenly no longer dying.

like idk i’ll probably choose that he wants to stop solas. but it doesn’t feel like so significant a choice to make it one of the only lasting impacts of the previous games. he already hasn’t seen solas in a few years by trespasser and wasn’t that close with him before and would like to take a nap

I just think he’d have such a terrible reputation for being so standoffish and unfriendly and rude with the customers, but it’s only from the WIMPS!!! and when you go in, nervous but excitable and jittery, he can’t help but lay on that Dabi ‘charm’ that typically leaves him a nasty review online.

but you love it because he’s low key hilarious and makes you feel so comfortable with how open and honest he is about everything. breaks your heart tho when he tells you that certain piercings aren’t compatible with your anatomy but makes up for it by offering up another piercing for half off the pricing!!

you get your lip pierced, and he’s holding your jaw with a surprising amount of gentleness. turns you this way and that before he tuts that he’s gonna give you a vertical labret instead of the snake bites you originally came in for, tells you how the former is much cooler, how pretty you’ll look with it. he’s so cheeky, pulls your bottom lip down with his thumb, a ‘requirement’ to make sure your lip won’t reject the piercing (he can’t tell this way, he just wants to touch you and watch how clouded your eyes get).

he’s full of praise but only for his best customers (just you). calls you good and sweet and a little crybaby, but only when you whine or whimper. tells you how good you take it for him, smirks when he watches your thighs shift and clench against each other.

oooooohhhh and imagine you want a tattoo too and he does them as well????? hour long sessions of a bat winged heart as a tramp stamp that he can’t help but drool over. the way you’re bent over, how you moan a little in discomfort, look back over your shoulder to see your progress. he’s hard the entire session, and convinces you to come back for another long, detailed tattoo in a risqué area just so he can see you, smell you, feel you again. whore.

Growing up Steve loved everything Halloween. Dressing up, getting to trick or treat, scream-laughing as friends scare him, helping pass out candy once he was home, eating candy and overall it was probably his favorite holiday.

But most of all he loved seeing bats everywhere. Bats you see, are his absolute favorite animal.

He was told that when he was a little baby, he automatically went for a tiny bat plush toy instead of the other options. His mom liked it, thought it was cute. His dad apparently didn’t but also didn’t force him to play or cuddle with anything else.

His mom also liked Halloween, probably not as much as him, but still she and him bonded over it and she’d decorate the house top to bottom and when he was able to, he helped. His dad was indifferent when it came to the holiday, he did play along and help put stuff on the roof or figure out a better way to deal with cords and all electric stuff.

The best part? All the bat decorations.

His mom joked once that maybe they’re vampires, which made Steve realize how fucking cool that would be.

I was going to write more but I lost the train of thought when I started this (on October 13th 😵‍💫) and wellll if I left in my drafts any longer I’d delete it. So here’s a tiny thing of Steve loving Halloween & bats.

Please know that it was going to involve steddie but I can’t get my brain to work out the how.
