idk who the character in your icon is, you should tell me about them (if you feel like it of course!)
VIBRATES AT HIGH FREQUENCY. THANKIES SO SO MUCHHH. Writing this as I am grinding for his event 5star card…..
This epic guy you can see on my pfp is Shinobu Sengoku, a character from Ensemble Stars and literally my best friend my blorbo my emotional support creature o7
I'm not really sure how would I approach describing who he is to fully convey how great of a character I think he is, but I will definitely do my best! Shinobun a lot of things. He is Ryusei Yellow in his unit, "Yellow flames are the proof of hope! A lone miracle illuminating the darkness!". Miracle illuminating the darkness he sure is, even described by some characters as having a "healing"/comforting presence; Shinobu in general is a very earnest, reliable and reassuring kid, which I can't help but love about him :3c Speaking of being earnest, Shinobun is also (a bit of) a chuuni-type character, of the Totally Is A Ninja variety (AND BTW HE TOTALLY IS A NINJA AND CAN DO SO MUCH COOL STUFF…. HE CAN JUMP THROUGH FIRE HOOPS AND ALL), which grants him automatic Autism Swag buff, because he does have Autism Swag about it, since he is very passionate and dedicated in his love for ninjas and everything related to them, but you also can't mention that without talking about the Why of it. Shinobu can be shy. Very shy. Anxious even, so the image of a ninja, a lone warrior acting in the shadows, granted him comfort when he himself was a lonely child… And how he is both not lonely because he has lots of friends who care about him etc AND gets to keep his unabashed love for ninjas, even if it's something most people wouldn't understand. Because of how he stays true to himself!!! Even when it is hard!!! To quote the conversation I had with Shay today, "this is exactly why hes my favorite. king of doing it scared" Literally, the current event in ENGstars is about him and his Ninja Assosiation club, of which he is a sole member, so it is under a threat of disbanding unless he finds at least one more member… (spoilers it all ends well)
AND HE HAS PAT FROGS TOO… he loves frogs in general and he is So Right for this. He has pet frogs. His second Feature Scout is frog themed. He has a super cute eng exclusive card with a frog plush too :3c
Also, if you are on pc/laptop, you can check out my little Shinobu shrine on neocities. Also watch this

Surprisingly enough Aello's life up until his early twenties was actually spent as an apprentice in a traditional Devomian warrior-monk monastary. And though he was never outright bullied by his peers he was somewhat ostracized as he never posessed any aptitude towards combat and struggled greatly to keep up with his peers. A somewhat pivotal point in his life was when he and the others were sent out to prove their mettle at the front in Burneers, where local devoma's had come in conflict with a large corporate entity. Though his time on the front lines proved not to be entirely unpleasant as he got to befriend and scout under the so called "Demon of Burneers", he did eventually take the oppertunity to slip away. Leaving those who remained to think he had died upon enemy capture.  Needless to say and true to his apperance, Aello raimains to this day a rather unformidable foe. His ability to project and cloak himself in "dark matter", along with his ability to solidify some of said matter into an additional pair of fully functional hands are among the few abilities he managed to pick up among the warrior monks that have actually served him well in his current occupation. If push comes to shove, his offencive capabilities are mostly limited to crudely expelling a charge of un-directed energy in his vicinity, in hopes of stunning the source of danger. This is a highly rudimentary ability among devoma, that is thought to be the evolutionary origin of many of their more sophisticated abilities. It's not something to be taken lightly, as it easily leave a devoma in a somewhat "starved" state, and in in Aello's case it also comes at an added cost of painfully disturbing a neuro-ocular implant he has installed in one if his eyes. The implant isn't imidiatly obvious, as generally speaking his kind tend to be quite averse to bionic augmentation due to the visual assosiations these pieces of tec might have with Xooves and their goons. The more traditionally inclined devoma's tend to be especially supersticious and regard anything tecnologically advanced as an element of bad luck. Aello in turn, pays little mind to such beliefs however. Perhaps in part because he is a bit of a wilful contrarian or perhaps more so because of how his upbrining deprived him of the many modern amenities and luxuries he's later grown to appreciate.

Well, 4 gfs later, I think it’d be good time to do another one of these, whoopty-doo!
Firstly I’d like to make 2 small corrections, I think Graviturgy fits Shizuka now, as Graviturgy is much more supportive, meanwhile Abjuration is much more about protecting yourself, also Shizuka flying off is a very convincing argument. Secondly I think that Valor Bard fits Rin better as she can participate in the violence with the extra attacks and armor and weapon proficiencies while also encouraging it with combat inspiration.
Anyways, same rules as last time we start with Matsuri and end with Saki
Matsuri: why do I make the smol girls paladins? anyways yeah, much like Suu, she has a very big passion towards something, festivals, she treats them very much like some kind of sacred event that shouldn’t be tarnished. Oath of Ancients makes the most sense for her subclass, thanks to its connections to the feywild (a place known for being bombastic and colorful) and themes of beauty, spreading joy, laughter and artistry that can be easily paralleled to festivals. I think she would be more of a supportive and inspiring Paladin rather than a smiting machine. She would also obviously have the chef feat.
Shiina: This one was really hard. First thing to note: she has very high dexterity, not only is she fast (in chapter 169, she was called as fast as a hare), but also she’s also sneaky and kinda tricky (as shown in chapter 168). So we need not only a class that’s good with high Dex, but also one that has a being a sneaky, slippery little guy as part of their main fantasy. This leaves us with either: Monk, Ranger and Rogue. I don’t think Monk really fits her, even if monks are the fastest of any class. It really came down to the subclasses at this point and even though she would probably love to be a Swarmkeeper, honestly Scout Rogue is probably the best option. It increases walking speed with superior mobility, it has a feature called skirmisher (which both bunnies and herself are) and it has a very forest-y vibe to it that could be interpreted as a bunny theme.
Meru: Now here me out: Warlock. Not only is she probably very charismatic (being an entertainer as a writer and such), but she also has done and said some pretty cultish things. But who is her patron? Fairytales. Which is weird, but she does have a devotion to fairytales and believes them to be the path to salvation. Now, as for the subclass, Archfey just makes sense, not only is it the fairy subclass, but it also has a lot of enchanting abilities.
Saki: I think the only thing can kinda make sense for her is Mastermind Rogue. Rogue already assosiated with like criminal behavior and being thugs, so that assosiation is there. Also rogues aren't that good in direct combat, kinda like Saki is pathetic in combat. Mastermind is a lot about manipulation and keeping secrets, which is something I think she would admire as the self proclaimed "Shadow Bancho", alought she wouldn't necesarrily be good. Maybe she would have expertice in deception and intimidation cuz she actually convinced all of the Rentarou family (even if for just a bit) she was gang leader, although she would have low wisdom.
I think that's all for now, I'm not very confident for the choice I made for Saki, but that makes sense cuz at the time of me writing this she has appeared only in 2 chapters, but maybe it'll age better. See yuo at gf 35 or 40!
Whenever I start consuming some sort of story I usually start asking myself: who would the characters be in a dnd campaign. Not who’d they play, who’d they be in a dnd-like world, so I’m doing this with 100 gfs. I will also be including mystic and blood hunter, but not any other stuff except the officially published stuff. I’ll only be trying to say which class and subclass fits them the most. Feel free to comment or suggest.
Rentarou: let’s start off with our main man himself: rentarou he was one of the characters that I had to do the most process of elimination. I considered bard, barbarian, cleric and heavily considered blood hunter (he actively hurts himself and pushes himself beyond his limits causing some kind of ailment, also he’s frequently called love monster), but I ultimately decided on paladin because although rentarou is aggressive at times, he would mostly want to help, support and defend his girlfriends and paladin is a weird mix of support, defense and damage. As for the subclass, devotion seems like the right one, although the most basic of paladin subclasses it is arguably one of the most defensive and supportive ones, also the tenets feel in line with Rentarou. He would mostly have healing or buffing spells. But let’s be real, Rentarou would probably be level 20 in every class.
Hakari: a difficult one to think of, but in dnd Charisma is not exactly charm, If not force of personality and people skills, and well, I’d say she’s very forceful, additionally we can see that she can be very scary at times, intimidation is also part of charisma, so add a point to that. Now we know that charisma would be her main stat, so we would have to go with either: bard, paladin, rogue, sorcerer or warlock. Now for the longest time I had her be a wild sorcerer before uploading this post, but arcane trickster is right there (the only thing is you’d need to change the spell casting ability to charisma instead of intelligence). It’s a subclass that is defined by trickery and enchantment in class that can is already very strong in charisma checks if needed. She would probably have high deception, persuasion and a lot of enchantment spells.
Karane: barbarian is the obvious pick, it’s strength based and has rage. Now the subclasses were where I really struggled, because none of them felt right, is what I would say before glory of giants. Although you make a case for the others that aren’t Path of the Giants, like maybe ancestral guardians because she has a big family, maybe beast because tsundere = cat, maybe zealot, because she was technically chosen by a god, maybe berserker because that’s like the base subclass or maybe battlerager, because why the fuck not? And even though it’s not perfect it does have one thing that all the others didn’t, it being a subclass that somewhat focused on being able to physically overpowering others, which sounds weird, but the ability to turn giant and being able to toss people around is something that we don’t really see in other subclasses. Also she would focus on grappling more than normal.
Shizuka: also an easy one, a wizard is as connected to books as they are with spells, also high dexterity and high intelligence makes a great wizard. Now also like Karane, the subclass is difficult to decide on, so process of elimination: shizuka is literally incapable of being aggressive so that knocks out bladesinging, evocation, necromancy and war magic. She also doesn’t really create or change things, so bye bye conjugation and transmutation. She doesn’t really have a relationship with time so no chronurgy nor divination. She doesn’t really fuck with other people’s minds, so illusion and enchantment are both a no. And that leaves us with abjuration, graviturgy and scribes. I ended up choosing abjuration, mostly because of the vibe, although shizuka has (accidentally) fucked with gravity before and is very dependent on her book, abjuration just feels like shizuka, she’s a gentle soul with a big heart even for Rentarou’s family standards. She’s eager to protect and help anyone she can, also it’s funny to think that maybe all the abjuration magic she uses on herself is actually people not wanting to hurt her. She’d use protective and crowd control spells.
Nano: eccentric and intelligent are two words that describe nano, those are basically the words that describe everything mystics are. Apart for that, mystics can work as utility and skill monkeys , something nano would be. Awakened makes the most sense to me because it’s very much about having high mental capacities and utility.
Kusuri: this one was also very easy: alchemist artificer, it’s just a medieval chemist. She’d also have a lot of buffing, debuffing and some damaging spells and infusions.
Hahari: this one is was the hardest one yet, but one thing I do know is that Hahari would definitely be a support. I ended up thinking of Divine sorcerer. This is mostly because she’s persuasive, she’s good with people (we don’t really see it, but she is), she’s intimidating and she was also born powerful, rich and beautiful. Now as I said before I wanted her to be a support and lookie here a support subclass that also manages to also have a trait that is also somewhat in line to who Hahari is, divinity. For some reason, whether accidental or purposefully, Hahari has had a fair bit of divine imagery relating to her, the biggest example of which is that she was called “The Mother of All Humanity” in chapter 43. She’d probably be a buff and debuff character.
Kurumi: … I’m starting to regret this. I’m going with barbarian (not just cuz the other tsundere is), but because rage could easily be reflavored as her craving some food. Then there’s the perfect subclass for her: beast, mostly because there’s a bite attack, also quick honorable mention to storm herald, which can emulate her very cold demeanor. She would also probably have high constitution, considering how much she can eat.
Mei: Mei’s a cleric, any questions? Ok, but really apart from Mei being the class that has been delegated to purely support makes sense, but also clerics are different form paladins because paladins are loyal to ideals, clerics are loyal to gods, and I can say with confidence that Mei probably views Hahari as a goddess or something similar. I was considering order, because, it’s Mei, but life I think makes the most sense, because, at least for Mei, Hahari represents life as she was rescued by her and is a very maternal figure, as well as the fact that she deals with Hahari losing blood a lot.
Iku: first thing of note of iku is that she has extremely high constitution, being able to receive pain like a champ and train for hours without end. Secondly, she’s strong, it’s not brought up often, but she is. Thirdly, she’s dedicated (obviously), that’s why fighter makes the most sense and who is the most dedicated fighter archetype, that also has additional tanking capabilities? Samurai. She would probably also use a warhammer (or a reskinned warhammer) as it’s the most baseball-like weapon in the game.
Mimimi: I think mimimi would be the type of person I’m to consider makeup as an art from, either way bard just makes sense. High charismatic and dexterous characters that shine in a crowd. Also college of glamour because of pretty.
Meme: while rogue would make the most sense in theory, I actually think monk would work best, but that’s mostly because of the subclass: way of the shadow, which is just ninja monk. Specifically the features “shadow step” and “cloak of shadows” makes it so the monk can teleport and go invisible whenever they want as long as they’re not in bright light. It just makes sense to give the character that can basically teleport whenever be able to basically teleport whenever.
Chiyo: i guess being a paladin runs in the family AYO. Anyways, yeah like the said paladin makes sense to as she is a person that is very obedient and believes in order and rules. She’s as well as a pretty aggressive person at times, but means well. Oath of the crown is the obvious choice as it’s all about law and order.
Naddy: I originally thought “hey, fighters make really good cowboys, maybe even better than ranger. Let’s find one a subclass that represents freedom or something similar” as I didn’t really know what to do with Naddy. Then I saw the banneret fighter, and that was just Naddy, an inspiring warrior whose feats inspire others to do the same, who not only fights for them but supports those around her. Which makes sense Naddy has been seen inspiring others and helping them get over stuff. She would use pistols or hand crossbows.
Yamame: Yamame is the most druid-ass non-druid character I’ve ever seen, although in dnd a Druid with high constitution and strength but low wisdom would probably not be that great. Side tangent aside shepherd druid just makes sense, apart from them being able to speak with animals and being one of the most defensive and supportive druids, let me just show you a blurb of the flavor text: “These druids recognize that all living things play a role in the natural world, yet they focus on protecting animals and fey creatures that have difficulty defending themselves.”, this is yamame.
Momiji: although a lot of classes can heal with their hands in dnd, mercy monk made the most sense to me, not only does it use wisdom (being in tune with the world around them) and dexterity (how good you are at moving you body). It also made sense since (although it isn’t making people fall asleep) monks can temporarily paralyzed people. They are also people that are dedicated to their art.
Yaku: i don’t think y’all expected something different: Alchemist Artificer. She’d probably have more healing or buffing stuff that Kusuri.
Kishika: we can’t really translate kishika being a baby into dnd (apart from it just being a personality trait), so her knightly personality will be the main focus. Though devotion paladin and kensei monk makes sense, paladin if we want to lean more into her chivalry part and monk for more of a fast and heavy hitter type of deal, I think that cavalier fighter is best of both worlds. Fighter already has a lot of attack and even more with action surge and cavalier has both the flavor of a honorable knight that protects the innocent and someone who is able to swing their sword a lot.
Ahko: Ahko was the hardest one, so I tried to boil her characteristics down, she’s very physically unfit, she loves cute things, she loves sharing the things she loves and she’s some one who is really good at keeping the family happy and together. I ended up with peace cleric, because while she doesn’t really have any religious stuff in her character or worships someone, the rest just made sense, it’s high wisdom, meaning she has high insight and can help and figure out the other girls, it’s a full spell caster, not usually the most fit in the group, it represents kindness, community, and resolution of conflict. As well as the fact that like half of the subclass’s features are bonds. Honorable mention to redemption paladin, similar flavor, but just too beefy for Ahko.
Uto: We can agree that she’d be a bard, I’d like to think that most of her attack spells are just her trying to play music but ending up hurting others. Now for the subclass lore bard makes sense to me, being a pretty basic subclass, while having some abilities that fit in with her personality like cutting words in which and I quote “you learn how to use your wit to distract, confuse, and otherwise sap the confidence and competence of others.” Uto literally did this to basically every gf In her introduction to the family. Also additional magical secrets, which basically makes it so she can have any spells she wants, very Chuuni.
Mai: Much like her “sister” she admires someone so deeply that it’s borderline religious, so she’s also a cleric. Light would probably be her subclass, because it’s not just the burn everything subclass it’s also about rebirth (Mai trying to be more like Mei), truth, vigilance (being a vigilant maid) and beauty (her sister of course.
Momoha: Drunken Master Monk just makes sense in a purely flavor-wise sense. Her Buddhist themes make sense as monks are largely based on Buddhist monks. They’re wise, using a lot of wisdom, which makes sense since ethics could be considered a very wise profession. Also alcohol (although drunken masters aren’t technically constantly fucked up, but yeah).
Rin: as you may have seen, some characters with duel personas or twists haven’t really been represented fully which I’m sad I can’t really do, but it would mostly boil down to roleplay, but Rin is a special case because Eloquence Bard fits her royal personality, love for violin and unsettling interest for violence. Of course Rin really isn’t a violent person herself, but enjoys seeing other be violent, boom a support class. She’s very charismatic, boom bard. She’s very elegant, boom eloquence college. She’s at times creepy or unsettling boom fear spell or others that are similar and unsettling words from her subclass.
Suu: might seem weird, but Suu is character that has a very firm and strong belief that she holds as an unshakable truth and uses her passion to convince others to think so as well. That’s a paladin. Now the subclass was even harder to figure out, but even though I’m not 100% confident saying this, but vengeance makes the most sense, she seeks retribution for the unfair treatment of numbers!
Eira: monks are the class for martial arts practitioners, and open hand monk is the most basic monk of monks.
Tama: Druid kinda makes sense for her, as she is all but physically a cat, she can make the remnants of her human form disappear for a bit with wild shape. And while moon might seem like the obvious choice as it encourages high usage of wild shape, I think that dreams makes more sense, as it’s about rest, tranquility and sleep, something Tama really care about.
Saiki: First things first, a Talented charismatic preformer, sounds like either a sorcerer or a bard, more so a bards, but she is pretty abnormal. Wild magic sorcerer is probably the best option, the amount of raw abnormal and chaotic energy just radiates off her. She would just have a mismash of spells that just don’t combo well or combo weirdly.
And that’s all the girlfriends for now, I’ll probably make a update when we get to 30 gfs. This was really fun to think and ponder about, even if it took me like 200 days, but hey I’m posting this like 12 hours after the premiere of the first episode of the anime, so it was probably fate.
Thx for reading this far, bye.

I can’t believe I finally managed to work out the first part of Toramaru’s HCs. Thanks @inazuma-hpau for creating this wonderful AU and letting me write down the muses (what I’m still afraid to bring out though, ahaha). This is a half-blood!toramaru, gryffindor!toramaru and gryffindor!breaktrio version.
I hope you enjoy it.
“The boy who flew while standing” HDC’s Pt. 1
Toramaru is a half-blood born to a wizard father and muggle mother. His mother soon fell ill with a decease incurable by muggle medicine. His father, as a potioneer and Healer sought out to invent a potion that would cure her. It was a very advanced and complex potion and he had to resort to muggle science to complete it. He never got to see the fruit of his work, however, because just as he was about complete the final version, the cauldron exploded, firing up the whole place.
The young Toramaru was left alone with his sick mother. She moved from their neighborhood into a muggle one and raised Toramaru as a normal child. It was after his 11th birthday that he finally received a letter from Hogwarts – claiming that he was a wizard. His mother initially wanted to keep it a secret, having already put the wizarding world to past, and hid the letters from her son. She finally gave up after the tenth letter, as there seemed to be no end to them.
Toramaru go enthusiastic by the news. He was most excited about the fact that he could try flying on a broomstick. He had always wanted to try it since reading about the witches who flew on their brooms during Halloween. His only concern was that he would be leaving his mother alone. It was a tough decision for both of them, but Tae assured him that there were people who could take after her, while Toramaru promised to visit her during every vacation they had.
Toramaru’s mother contacted Nashimoto Nonomi’s family (who the surprised of the sudden contact after all the years) and they agreed to help Toramaru everything he needed for the up-coming year. They took Toramaru to Diagon Alley and even made sure that he arrived at the Platform 9 ¾ on time. Toramaru had wanted to buy himself a broomstick and a pet (a cat or kneazle) but couldn’t afford them.
His first-year uniform is pretty much a hand-me-down from Nashimoto family. Tae presented Toramaru with a box, which he found out was a wand. She told she had been keeping it by her all the years – it was his father’s old wand.
Toramaru had never heard of the houses before Nonomi’s short brief. At that time, he also learned that his father was a Gryffindor and hoped to be placed there. He didn’t want to become a Slytherin, because they apparently were very evil people.
One day during their flying lessons (which Toramaru was super excited about) a few Slytherin’s picked a fight with him for being an oblivious half-blood/mud-blood. They dared him fly on the broom while standing. Being a prideful Gryffindor Toramaru took up the challenge and before the Professor understood what was going on, he was already hovering a few meters off the ground while standing on the broomstick. He even managed to fly with it, but soon lost his balance and almost fell. Thanks to his quick reactions and agility he managed to catch hold of the broomstick before falling on the ground.
Due to the incident, Toramaru was nicknamed “The boy who flew while standing.”
The rumors of the boy who flew while standing reached the ears of the whole student body and the third year break!trio decided to do some scouting. Once they became clear of Toramaru’s abilities they informed the Captain and Head of House of their discovery, who approached Toramaru with the suggestion for him to join the Quidditch team. Toramaru accepted it with the excitement of being able to fly all day long, just like the witches from the books.
On the day, he went to watch the practice for the first time, he saw Gouenji doing chaser practice and was mesmerized. He wanted to become just like him!
Toramaru was confused during the first time he received an owl letter from his mother, but ever since they started to write to each other on a weekly basics. (they both wanted to do it daily, but knew that they’d only worn themselves out if they were to do it).
Ever since from his first year, Toramaru was often found in garden and yard being surrounded by cats. He fed the stray cats, but sometimes even pets gathered to get a share of the food. Due to this habit, his cloak and clothes were constantly covered in cat fur.
While Toramaru was a welcomed addition to the team, some (especially the 5-7th graders) despised him. They found him as a threat to their starting positions and he was often the target of their negative attention. This took a huge toll on Toramaru’s confidence and the boy started to act more reserved during practice.
Toramaru played during one game on his first year and scored zero goals. He kept passing the Quaffle to Gouenji and the other Chaser. He had the chance to play more games on the second year but still restrained himself from scoring goals. He scored the total of three goals that year.
Because first years were not allowed their own brooms, Kidou lent one of his brooms to Toramaru during practice and matches.
This became an essay... and I pretty much only covered his first and second years here, haha. I’m very well aware that his story sounds similar to Harry - since Toramaru is also a half-blood who was brought up not knowing he’s a wizard. Then there’s also matter with his flying lessons, but how else could I get him join the team on his first year? He needs to show is abilities, right?
The reference to Toramaru joining the team as a first year is because he’s considered “to be too young to be part of the team” in IE too: if it was the Football Frontier tournament, he couldn’t be participating.
There was no information whether potions were dangerous enough to blow up, which is why muggle science is added in.
While writing this, I came to wonder: Have you decided the Head of Houses yet? I kind of think Kudou would work for Ravenclaws while Hitomiko for Gryffindors - but I have not done any analysing on them so I can be off mark. Kageyama is probably a Slytherin?
I don’t know when Endou becomes a captain, but I feel like him as captain of his third year is very unlikely - seeing that there’s four grades above him... unless none of them plays Quidditch, of course.
I wish life would be nice on him, but getting on the team while on first year, Toramaru is asking to get bullied. Especially since he’s playing a position with multiple players on the team - not sole Keeper or Seeker. This is also refence to IE where he rather passed ball to someone than scored the goal by himself. Don’t worry, he’ll eventually overcome this habit.
As a Finn, I personally assosiate flying witches with Easter rather than Halloween. But I guess, that’s not the case in other parts of the world, haha.
I had trouble deciding between “a boy who stood while flying” or “a boy who flew while standing”. Eventually, I thought the latter one conveys the meaning better.
Toramaru is a precious child, who needs to be protected. First, I still wonder what am I doing!? Second, I guess I’ll go continue this.

Why you, yes, you personally, should vote for Niki Shiina (tldr: becasue of his epic autism and whimsical nature)
[credits for story translations used in this post go to @/azurecrystalz]
Brief Overview: Who even is Niki
Niki Shiina is a character from Ensemble Stars! franchise (specifically first appearing in Ensemble Stars!! Music, a rhythm game being the last addition to it). He is both an idol (a given, since it is an idol-centric game) and a chef, with a clear preference towards his second occupation <- this is relevant to my point, i prommy.
Given that he is my favouritest little guy ever, there's a lot I could say about Niki, but for the purpose of this propaganda post, I will focus on one specific aspect of his personality * - his intense and passionate interest in / "fixation" on food and cooking, which [to me] reads very much like a special interest specifically.
* I believe in Niki Sweep forever and ever, so I want to leave stuff to cover in future propaganda. For the same reason, there WILL be very important things I won't get into in this post, even if they are relevant to properly understanding Nik's character, so other Shiinaheads don't call me out on that. I'm doing my best keeping as brief as I can already >:3c
Food Autism has never been more Real
As mentioned above, Niki Shiina has a very clear special interest in cooking specifically and food in general (which is something I, also very much a cooking special interest person, tend to nickname "food autism". Due to being autism that is so about food). A story which really explores that aspect of him is Niki's Second Feature Scout.
In Ensemble Stars!!, Feature Scouts are campaigns with assosiated stories focusing on exploring individuals idol and their image. Second round of Feature Scouts tend to center around more "internal" perception of a character, who they are in their more candid, free-time moments, what are they doing when they are "off-work".
This is where a conflict arises for Niki - for him, food is a huge part of his life. Cooking is not just a job to him, it is integral to him as a person. It's a lense through which he views the people around him, it affects the way he approaches a lot of social interactions. At least 60% of his brain is dedicated to thinking about food at all times - either eating it, or considering new recipes, or.. you get the idea. His first Feature Scout already was about his image as a chef. And now he is faced with a question - "Who are you during yout time off?" - a question he struggles to answer. He, very notable, Does Not have time off! Food is a permanent, all-time-relevant feature in his life!
Tumblr media
He tries so hard to separate himself from his interest in food in an attempt to reach a conclusion which would be acceptable. Of course, since to most people the idea of having such a strong fixation on something to the point where you can't conceive of something you do for fun outside of that is strange...
Tumblr media
Niki himself says so - "Everything just comes back to cooking…!"
Tumblr media
And there is a nice conclusion to the story - his special interest in food is Not something Niki ever needs to try and separate from. He loves food! He loves cooking! It's important to him, off or on the clock! It's something to embrace, to share with other people!
Tumblr media

Scouting Can Be A Horrible Experience
I have felt both sides of it. For one, I am a white female. Whilst English Scouts are generally very accepting of the LGBT+ community, I do not often see any asian or black people (and literally no leaders). I don't think this is because of racism, perhaps it's ways we are brought up differently. However, this may make people feel slightly uncomfortable because of such a white-washed community. Bullying is also a major factor in your experience. As a young Beaver and Cub, I was heavily bullied by my friend's older sister and Scout. Whilst that has quietly faded away, it did not change my feelings at the time. I grew to hate Scouting because of this, but I had no choice in attending or not as I was a child. I didn't tell anyone and it got quite severe. Advice for anyone being bullied is to tell your friends in your group, they can help protect you. I am glad I didn't quit. Compatibility. Are you suited to that group? Is it suited to you? Scouts is a very person led experience. One person could ruin it for you. One person could make it for you. It's OK to be picky about which group you go to as long as you recognise that Scouts is NOT a social club (as some of my patrol do not, and it gets very annoying.). For example, I was a part of two groups for a while: My Explorer Troop and the 23rd World Scout Jamboree Troop for my city. My Troop was wonderful and I fit it perfectly. However, in the 23WSJ group, I never fitted in and purely did it for the amazing experience of a WSJ (which, because I didn't fit in with the group, was spoiled anyway.) On that note, you. Are you a Scout? Do you believe in the Scout law? Or are you doing it for other reasons? Scouts is not a social club, don't do it because your friends do. Everything stated above have been drawn from personal experience, no offence has been intended. Just some advice for anyone struggling. If anyone has any other advice for anyone, feel free! :D
