Round 1, Match 4: The Freeze (Cardcaptor Sakura) vs. Cure Diamond (Doki Doki Precure)

Freeze Propaganda:

One of the 52 Clow Cards which were then later turned to Sakura Cards. These cards can be thought of as magical spirits which provide power once they are ‘captured’, though they tend to wreak havoc before then. Its first appearance in the anime is a giant goldfish lurking underneath a skating rink and giving elementary students hypothermia, which I think is neat. Once captured, it allows the user to freeze things, summon ice, and lower temperatures.

Cure Diamond Propaganda:

childhood friend of the protaginst, her right hand woman on the student council and as a magical girl (or she would be if not for Dokipre's bad writing). I love her but she gets shoved out of the limelight so hard after being built up as Mana's ultimate partner.
