So.. I’m working on an animation thing, and I spent hours on the background.
Tumblr media
Looks pretty good right? Well, then it came to drawing baby Branch, and I had already spent hours on this and for some reason didn’t think about taking a break so,
Tumblr media
I call him Bench. Isn’t he so beautiful? (I promise this won’t be his actual design for the animation)

Cumulus Ghoul adjusted fairly well to the modern era. She had been summoned to tour Earth two times before the twentieth century, and each time afforded her a new exciting glimpse at what wonders those intrepid little humans had invented in the meantime.
None would prepare her, though, for the automobile. 1950: Cumulus' third tour of Earth. The Ministry at that time had a stunning collection of cars, especially a sky blue Chevy Bel Air. Ghouls are entranced by the physical sensations of the earthly realm, and these machines, these curious inventions delighted all of Cumulus' physical being. The smooth, silky texture of the elegant curves of metal thrilled her fingertips. The drifting lines of forms and pinstripes, the shine of chrome and soft white leather dazzled her eyes.
And the power! Papa Emeritus Camino noticed how her whole aura floated with excitement whenever she saw these curious human devices parked or driving as Papa Camino & His Four Horsemen Band toured the country. In an off time he decided to show her how to operate one, and the two of them whipped around the winding mountain roads by the Ministry, really pushing that beautiful car to her limit and laughing all the while. The purr and roar of the engine quickened Cumulus' breath, the soft vibration of the machine thrumming under her seat and at the command of her hands at the wheel dropped a nearly erotic heat in her core.
The complexity! It was the harpsichord from centuries prior that first drew Cumulus' attention to humanity's knack for creating machines, but a car afforded even more excitement for the ghoul's brain than an instrument ever could. The smell of oil, the warmth of an engine thrumming to life from her tender care gave her a satisfaction she had never known. She had nearly wept when it was time for her to return to the Void, and she kept the memories of that beautiful car deep in her heart, bringing it forth to relive them over and over again.
Tumblr media
I want to write more about this but I figured this was a good place to stop! More car-enthusiast Cumulus in the future...

Travel Log Through The Roman Empire
Welcome to the wonderful world of Ancient Rome! My name is Ebony, and I will be taking you back in time. That’s right, today we are traveling back in time to explore what Ancient Rome, and the Roman Empire is all about. We will travel to some historical places and see some of the historical events that had taken place in this period of history. I am glad to be taking you on this journey with me. Sit back and enjoy the ride!
THE BATTLE OF ACTIUM
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Welcome to our first stop on our tour. Many battles were fought, and many battles were won during the reign of Augustus. Engaged in at least five civil wars: Modena, Philippi, Perugia, Sicily, and Actium to name a few, this tour stop will embark on the Battle of Actium, the naval battle in the last of the civil wars of the Roman Republic. The motive for these wars were for the sole purpose of the revenge for his uncle Julius Caesar's death and to maintain the state of affairs he established for the Roman Empire. Although Augustus comes from a patrician family, which is a family of wealth, he had not yet been a part of the senate. Mark Antony who was a part of the consul during the Roman Empire opposed Augustus being a part of the Senate. This came to a shock for Augustus as he thought that Mark Antony would be of great assistance to him.l considering Mark Antony was one of the best generals of his time and overcame the last republicans in 42 at Philippi. Antony started to reorganize the Eastern half of the Roman Empire while Augustus took care of the west. The alliance between Augustus and Antony after many reconciliations had finally dissolved. Cleopatra and Antony, with a navy consisted of 230 vessels and 50,000 sailers started to sail Northwest with a plan to cross into Italy. This plan came to a halt when Augustus sailed east with about 100 ships and landed in Dalmatia. Augustus annexed Dalmatia which offered him a road from Italy and Gaul, to the Balkans. The maneuver of Augustus’s right hand man Agrippa’s sail to the western Peloponnese made it hard on Antony, cutting off his line of communication making it hard to supply his army. Agrippa sailed north, both him and Antony reached the Gulf of Ambracia with hopes of Augustus offering a battle. Antony occupied the southern peninsula known as Actium which would be soon announced as the Battle of Actium where Antony was defeated. Not long after, Augustus defeated Antony in a naval ship battle near Actium using Cleopatra's naval ship, which was prolonged an hour after his victory he had to sleep on the ship. To make it known to the world that Antony was driven away from his patriotic feelings, which prompted Augustus to wage war on Antony, he nominated Cleopatra's children and many others as his heirs. He joined the people that were once under the protection of the Antoni family and spoke of them highly publicly for joining in the association with Italy to support his cause. Next, we are going to visit one of the most famous Architectures in Rome. Can anyone guess where we are going next? Come on, let's go!
THE COLOSSEUM
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ok everyone, after a sixteen-hour journey from Actium we are finally here, the Colosseum. I know you did not think that we could explore the likes of Rome in just one day. Look at how beautiful this structure is. Can you imagine being front row and center at one of the gladiators shows, the reenactment of some major battles, chariot racing, and more? The Colosseum is considered the Roman monument. So many events have taken place right here. During Domitian's time, he constantly gave grand entertaining shows. In addition to the usual two-horse and four-horse chariot racing he exhibited two battles between forces of infantry and by horsemen. The part I would like to give light to today is the combat between women. This was not a part of the image when the empire was under the rule of Augustus. However, under Domitian's rule, this was pure entertainment. Female gladiators were placed in expensive and ostentatious games, personal wealth and imperial decadence. There are some armor and swords here recovered from some of the battles that took place here. Would any women like to get into gear and feel like a gladiator? Ok let's go on to our next stop of the tour. Next, we will be visiting the Roman Forum.
The Roman Forum
Tumblr media
The Twelve Tables are the earliest attempts of a code of law by the Romans. The Twelve Tables are also the earliest surviving piece of literature from the Romans. During this time there was a struggle between the patricians (high class) and the plebeians (the common people) for legal and social protection, and civil rights. Ten men were appointed to draw up a code of law which would then be inscribed on bronze statutes to fill the ten tables. Another ten men were appointed, and two more tables were drawn up. These codes of laws were placed in the Heart of Rome for everyone to view them. These were in place to avoid any corruption. This allows for a working society, a society that bonds and sticks together. The Twelve Tables of Roman Law were written in Greek style and were the remains of the poetic wisdoms of the heroic people of Latium. Adapted to the state of the city, The Twelve Tables led the Romans to emerge from barbarism. Let's travel to our last destination, Pompeii. This location was saved for last and I think you all will enjoy.
POMPEII
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
A volcanic eruption of Vesuvius happened in 79 A.D. This eruption consisted of two main phases, first being the initial 18–20-hour Plinian phase. This phase caused extensive pumice-fall south of the volcano resulting in slow accumulation of 2.8 m. thick layer of pumice over Pompeii and other south regions. Many were able to flee the non-lethal stage of this eruption the first day. The second day along with the second phase of the volcanic eruption is known as the Pelean phase. The second phase of the eruption was the worst. A series of hot ash-avalanches fell down the south and west flanks of the volcano which affected the region as far as Misenum, 30 km to the west. These first two phases left Pompeii overwhelmed and asphyxiated the people who remained above ground, their bodies were immediately interred in the fine-grain deposit of volcanic ash. The effects of the second phase were so bad it resulted in the burial of the cities of Oplontis and Herculaneum. In the letters from Pliny the Elder, he delves into the death of his uncle who was in Misenum at the time of the eruption. During this time Pliny's uncle was commander of the fleet on August 24th, 79 A.D and sometime around 2 and 3 in the afternoon Pliny's mother drew attention to the unusual size of a cloud. After his sunbath, cold bath, and reading, he called for his shoes so that he could get the best view of this phenomenon. The sight of this true phenomenon made the scientist in him want to get a closer look at what was taking place. Pliny’s uncle offered him an opportunity to join him and see this phenomenon but Pliny declined and stayed to work on his studies. Tascius’s wife Rectina brought him a letter, who was terrified of the danger. Rectina’s villa sits at the foot of Vesuvius and there is no way out except by boat. Rectina begged him to get her away so he changed his plans. It was no longer an expedition of the quest for knowledge but instead this quest calls for courage. He embarked himself on a source of aid to Rectina and many other women. On this journey he held his course directly into danger. “Ash was falling onto the ships now, darker and denser the closer they went. Now it was bits of pumice, and rocks that were blackened and burned and shattered by the fire. Now the sea is shoal; debris from the mountain blocks the shore. He paused for a moment wondering whether to turn back as the helmsman urged him. “"Fortune helps the brave," he said, "Head for Pomponianus (Pliny)."” They tried to shield themselves from rocks falling. The darkness was darker and thicker than any night. They wanted to see if anything was possible by sea so they went down to the shore to get a close look. Getting a close look it remained as rough and uncooperative as before. Resting in the shade of a sail and drinking once or twice from the cold water he had asked for, then came the smell of sulfur, announcing the flames. The flames themselves, sent others into flight but revived him. Two small slaves gave their support as he stood up, and immediately collapsed. His breathing was obstructed by the dust in the air, and his innards, which were never strong and often blocked or upset, simply shut down. “When daylight came again 2 days after he died, his body was found untouched, unharmed, in the clothing that he had had on. He looked more asleep than dead (Pliny).” The interment of Pompeii, Oplontis, and Herculaneum has beautifully preserved the art, industry, and architecture of three Roman cities.
That concludes our trip, I hope everyone enjoyed this experience! Although we are not making anymore stops on this tour, please relax and enjoy the scenery on our long trip back home. Let’s go!

Not to open a discussion that might cause issue, but can I ask what the Miami fiasco, the one that anon was talking abt with beales, is?
The story of the four horsemen of the apocalypse who rode into Miami.
So basically there was a boys trip in January 2022 Mason, Benny, Woody & Beales. There was attention seeking girls, jet skis, nightclubs, the entire trip was all over social media so everyone knew which clubs they were at & when, Benny being almost 30 or was 30 (I can’t remember) it was pretty gross considering the age of some of the girls.
Don’t get me wrong we did get some pretty good club content of Mason wearing pearls & he started his first touring business out there
if you search Miami on my page you will find some stuff

SPIRAL GRAVE Up The Ante on Barnstorming 2nd Record, ‘Ill Repute’
~Doomed & Stoned Debuts~
By Billy Goate
Tumblr media
SPIRAL GRAVE got out attention a few years back with their debut album 'Legacy of the Annointed' (2021). This four-member wrecking ball from the Maryland-Virginia area were formed out of the ashes of two legendary mid-Atlantic bands, Iron Man and Lord, in 2018.
Wasting no time, Spiral Grave stormed live stages and festivals with their fireball energy, then went right to work on a sophomore album, 'lll Repute' (2024), which Doomed & Stoned brings you in full today.
Screaming Mad Dee is back as the dedicated vocal frontman, one of the most recognizable set of pipes in the heavy underground, tapping into the ire of metal god glory. Seriously, there are few as formidable as Dee Calhoun when it comes to belting it out. Completing the picture is Willy Rivera on guitar, Louis Strachan on bass, and Jason “Mot” Waldmann on drums, who set this record ablaze.
Tumblr media
Every song on this album has punch, thanks to this doomy collaboration. "Watching - From The Sky" comes at you with crunchy, exuberant power. "Eulogy for Queen City (21502)" is dank and swampy, conjuring visions of "apocalyptic riders' bloody reigns" -- the horsemen dancing on the backs of the bruised these past four years. Lyrics reflect jadedness in the face of uncertainty and despair, the norm for far too many still:
Bad mojo permeates this goddamn place Inhale the stale and bitter taste The one horse saddled up and fled here long ago As sundown blackened out the dirt around the bones
"Many artists have their COVID album," says the band, "and this is ours. Once lockdowns started we just hunkered down and started writing. The emotions that we were all feeling during that time are very evident in these songs. The legendary Frank Marchand was at the helm for recording, and brought the absolute best out in us."
"My Angel Comes Tonight" brings out a more ethereal side of the band, and illustrates Madd Dee's ability to woo you as well as wow you with classic ballad feel (a song about a mysterious she-creature "alive in the night").
"The Death of Ronnie M." appears to be a revenge fantasy set to the backdrop of unspeakable acts that would bring out bloody rage in any of us. The band brings brutality to bear for this song and the one that follows, "Lungful of Blood." This'll get the blood pumping alright. It's grim as fuck, chock full of dark fury. Lyrically heavy stuff, as well, as we'd expect from a singer who relishes the pen (see: Old Scratch Comes to Appalachia: Four Devilish Novelettes).
Title track "Ill Repute" brings us slithering riffage that winds, twists, and crawls like a copperhead, then strikes like a cottonmouth. Vocals get low and gravelly, the rhythms advancing methodically in churning fashion. There's some delirious riffing later in the song that gets humid and trippy, and lyrics decry those who were left "rotten – forgotten – until they are statistics," surely a reference to lockdowns and the culture of isolation that survives to this day. "No way to die." And we raise our fists and bow our heads in agreement.
"(Raising the) Chalice" gives me thrills and chills, a defiant toast in the face of the Apocalypse. And then comes "To Stare Down God which turns into a downright frenzy of groove metal as Dee screaming guts out. "Time is coming when I’ll stand in judgment – put my anger on display." Dee convinces you of it, too; he really does want to confront the Almighty. "I don’t want forgiveness – just want the Host to see. Their master has failed us beyond recovery." Those last screeching words ("I cast you out!") accompanied by rolling drums, bass, and guitar, make the perfect finish to this tour de force.
Spiral Grave's Ill Repute drops Friday, July 12th, on Argonauta Records (get it here and ).

DORO PESCH 'Could Tell' METALLICA Was Going To Be Big When She First Saw Them In 1984
In a new interview with DJ Ramo (a.k.a. Omar Rodriguez) of The Metal Mixtape, German metal queen Doro Pesch reflected on the first time she met the members of METALLICA, in particular the band's then-bassist Cliff Burton. The singer, who was fronting the band WARLOCK at the time of her METALLICA encounter, said (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET): "[Cliff] was so relaxed. He was so relaxed, like really like cool and he played fantastic bass. And he was always smiling, always in a good mood. He was really, yeah, very cool. And he had more like a — can I say? — more like a hippie attitude, like totally relaxed and cool.
"The first time I met them, that was actually in '84, I think," she continued. "We got a phone call and it was a promoter in the Netherlands. And he said, 'Hey, you guys wanna play a show? I have a little club here.' And we said, 'That's cool.' And there was one band pulling out and, I just found out who it was; it was actually TWISTED SISTER. They were supposed to play, but they didn't play. I don't know. And they said, 'You guys wanna play?' And we said, 'Yes.' And the guy said, 'Wait, but there's another band from America. They're coming from far away, from San Francisco. You guys have to play before that band.' And we said, 'Yeah, no problem. Super.' So we went to the Netherlands. And we were playing a show. It was maybe 400 people there, all going crazy, headbanging, sweating. It was fantastic. And then we said, 'Hey, let's check out this band, the other band.' And it was METALLICA. And they walked onstage, and I thought, 'Wow.'
"Back in the day, it was very hard to even get information — no Internet, no cellphones," she explained. "You just had like these little fanzines, and usually it was like handwritten notes and then photocopies, maybe a black-and-white photo, but a photocopy, so we didn't know them so well before. And then they did a fantastic show. And you could tell they would be big; you could tell. And then I fell in love with their music and 'Kill 'Em All' and 'Ride The Lightning'. And then we did another big festival. Actually, VENOM was the headliner. It was the Metal Hammer festival in Germany. It was based on the Rhine River. It was really nice. It's called Loreley. And VENOM was headliner, and METALLICA and WARLOCK and all the other bands, we were kind of the support bands. And then it was a big deal. And then, soon after, METALLICA, they blew up and they were, like, 'Wow.'
"I always loved them. And I was a big fan. That's the reason why I wanted to [cover METALLICA's] 'The Four Horsemen' [for my new album, 'Conqueress - Forever Strong And Proud'] because I love that song so much. And I love the early METALLICA. I love it all, but the early stuff, it was, yeah, it was so influential. And they were all so nice. They were so nice to us — James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett and Lars Ulrich and Cliff Burton.
"And then we were actually supposed to play a big festival in Scandinavia. We were on tour with JUDAS PRIEST in 1986. It was my first big tour. I couldn't believe it. And we were supposed to play a big festival in Scandinavia — METALLICA, JUDAS PRIEST and WARLOCK. And we were in our tour bus, and I could feel there was something not right — really dark skies. It wasn't cold but it was bad weather. We were sitting in the tour bus and we had a strange feeling. And suddenly I had a really, really strange vibe. And I thought, 'Man, I hope everything is okay.' And then we went to the — it was a big festival setting. Then we came there, and nobody showed up. And we thought, 'Hmm, that's really strange.' And then later on, a couple of hours later, we found out that METALLICA had this bad accident and that Cliff lost his life. That was the first time that we felt, 'Oh, one of us is gone.' It was so unbelievable. And the show didn't take place then, and the whole tour was… Yeah, we were all, like, really, really shocked and sad. And at first, we couldn't believe it. We were just watching some rumors and stuff, but we thought, 'Everything is okay.' You know when you're a teenager, you think, 'Oh, fuck it, it will be okay.' But no, it wasn't.
"I saw [METALLICA] last time [in 2015]," Doro added. 'We played together. I was in Rock In Rio, in Brazil, and I played there with ANGRA, a Brazilian band, and Dee Snider was there, and METALLICA played there, and that's when I last saw them.
"Yeah, [METALLICA] was always one of my favorite bands."
"Conqueress - Forever Strong And Proud" was released on October 27 via Nuclear Blast.

I was just starting to build my flock of chickens from the four I already had (one rooster, three hens) to a NFL Carolina Panthers Christmas All Over Print Family Knitted Sweater For Men And Women of ten. I bought six little two day old chicks from the local feed store – assured by the staff that all six would grow to be beautiful hens. Since I already had a rooster – and two roosters rarely get along – so wanted to be sure these were female. I named my chickens after dead movie stars (yes truly… don’t judge) but my Aunt Delores wanted one named after her, so I chose a Golden Phoenix chick and named her “Delores”. When Delores was eight weeks old, I began to have suspicions that she was edging towards a gender change. Delores was quite a bit larger than her step sisters, and was growing a more pronounced comb and longer tail feathers than the typical hen. However, denial is a powerful characteristic, and I tried to convince myself that Delores really WAS a hen and maybe she was just big boned.

Kublai also had learned from the knights of Russia and Europe and so, his horsemen were not just archers but lancers also. So they would alternate between the lance and bow, depending on what they faced. The European armies consisted of crossbowmen and pikemen as well as cavalry, of course. Kublai’s tactic was to switch when it was advantageous, so the knights would charge with lance and the Mongols would stage a false retreat, shooting the knights down as they went. Then, when the knights were nullified, they would charge the crossbowmen. The pikemen would come to the fore and the Mongols would switch to the bow. Because the pikemen needed both hands to wield their pikes, they had to put aside their shields which they used to defend from archers so they were vulnerable to Kublai’s horse-archers. Then the crossbowmen would advance to answer the arrows and the tuman would ride them down with lances. And so, they would wear down armies in such fashion, switching to exploit the weaknesses of their enemies.
