If i see one more post about how Anders "lacked a writer who loved him" or was "done dirty by the narrative" i am going to lose my fucking mind i swear on the bible
#lord give me the patience to not yell at people for being wrong on the internet#A CHARACTER CAN BE GOOD AND SYMPATHETIC WHILE ALSO HAVING THEIR ACTIONS TREATED WITH THE JUDGEMENT THEY DESERVE#YOU CAN LIKE A GUY EVEN IF HE DID SOMETHING BAD#the fact that anders doesnt NEED to die for what he did should be enough for you people#the fact he can be spared and escape without retribution should be enough jesus christ#he chose an ideology over innocent lives#and accomplished very little#it was not through his actions that mages freed themselves from the circles but through those mages own actions#there are no solitary heroes#a figurehead is just a figurehead#a martyr is just an idea#its groups of people and communities that enact change#anders acted selfishly out of vengeance#and you cannot change my mind#justice would have been working with other circle mages to start a real revolution#not fucking making a bomb in your basement like a freak
