Annabeth is so glad you like Greek mythology. Sure, everyone in camp has to have some interest in the myths they deal with on a daily basis. But having someone who’s genuinely interested in it? That’s a nice change.

She’d love talking to you about mythology and hearing your opinions on different variations on the stories. She’s also quite open minded so she likes considering all viewpoints.

She enjoys listening to you play guitar. Annabeth appreciates music from a very technical perspective but when she listens to you play, she’s able to relax her mind and just listen.

Round 1 will consist of 64 matchups, with 1 through 32 in Week 1 and 33 through 64 in Week 2, and those groups will continue to alternate through the rounds until we reach the Finals, which will consist of both the final matchup for first place and a matchup between the two losers of the semifinals for third place.

So How Does It Work?

Since this competition started, I’ve seen a lot of stuff about the different match-ups. Some are all in good fun, but some do seem genuinely frustrated, so here’s a more in-depth look at how I created the bracket.

First, I looked up the number of reviews on Storygraph for each book or the first book in each series. Granted, this was a while ago, so some of the numbers may have changed over time. The only exception to this was Pixie Hollow since there are a lot of starting points for the series (I pulled the first Levine book and then added the most popular of the Tales series to it). Then, I ordered them all from highest to lowest.

Then, just like how it works in sports, the series with the highest number of reviews was matched against the one with the lowest number of reviews. This method may seem unfair to the less popular books, but it’s to ensure we don’t have a matchup between two books early on that could’ve potentially made it all the way if they were on opposite sides. For example, right now Percy Jackson is a favorite to win, and I’d say probably Howl or MBS. If they got pitted against each other too early, it wouldn’t be very interesting. Still, there have been some significant upsets so far, even if we are only a day or so in. If you’re interested in the details, the numbers are below the read more.

Hi, may I have a matchup for legend of korra, narnia, and percy jackson? I go by she/her and am bi with no preference so any gender is fine.

I’m about 5’5, dark blue eyes, medium length hair thats kinda too dark to be dirty blonde but not so dark that its light brown with slightly lighter blonde highlights throughout. Ive been told I typically wear what would be considered 90s type of style but leaning away from more feminine things tho I’m not opposed to dresses and all. 

I get pretty anxious when thrown in certain situations rather that be talking to a group of people or just one person. But when I get to know someone I never stop talking. I am a ranter and rambler which means I could be ranting about something that happened and then start talking about something else that may or may not be related to the original subject. Though I do enjoy listening to other people talk. I am considered the mom friend because I tend to be the most logical. I'm also a very determined, stubborn person who usually is kinda pessimistic but still has a huge imagination. if i were to change my name i’d probably pick a family name since my name now doesn’t have any connections to anyone else. birdie was a family name that i think is rlly cute :3

probably marcus. while i do think he is an interesting and well written character, i don’t see the appeal the way i do for some of the other more morally grey boys.

my favorite playlist has all my fav 50s and 60s music bc i am a hopeless romantic. big band songs to slow dance in the kitchen to type of theme going on.

i think im pretty hardworking and i spend a lot of time taking care of other people (probably a good time to mention the extreme eldest daughter syndrome).

in my free time i love baking and cooking. i can play a tiny bit of guitar and piano but most of my musical talent lies in singing.

It’s the little things with this entry. All the little, small, sweet things that make a life together, that you have in common, that make me think you’d be a really lovely fit for Camelopardalis.

Like, I can see Cam being a huge fan of the Chronicles of Narnia? (I think he loves all the classics, like the Lord of the Rings, and Tolkien and Lewis were contemporaries, so that works together.) He’d love smooth, crooning classic 50’s music; Cam plays it in a record player but not in a hipster way, in a “this is technically an antique” way. He’d love the leisurely, methodical routine of cooking.

Most of all, he’d love you. Twos are often categorized by a caring, giving nature and a desire to love and be loved. (Geordi, for example, would be a Two.) I think Cam is a good match for that, as he strikes me as the type of partner who’d be very open, communicative, and giving with his affection and in receiving it.

Camelopardalis seems, to me, as the kind of man-shaped being who doesn’t fall first but falls extremely hard when he finally does. You would be a once in a very long lifetime kind of event for him, and his love would outlast you, the sun, every star in the sky.

I also like Gavin for a Type Two. There’s something about the way he talks about his feelings that’s so effusive and raw that appeals to me for someone with the basic wants and fears of that Enneagram. Ollie, I’d pair with you because of the way his hardworking nature would complement yours. Ollie is dedicated but balanced, and I think he’d make sure you don’t overwork yourself.
