reading one of those silly little queer romcom books bc sometimes im tired and need to read something light and easy but this one in particular is like, very obvious serial-numbers-filed-off bon appetit fanfiction with the names (and genders) changed. not only that but it’s specifically brad and claire. head in hands. i can’t do this i can’t read this

Fall Of BA events???#but it’s... not done well #and it’s just like. actually remembering how all that went down and the extreme racism that was like The big part of it.#it’s just. uncomfortable reading the way this books tries to handle it #im stuck on a page with like. two lines about how the staff is almost all white except for the behind-the-camera crew and it’s #i don’t know. it’s glaringly uncomfortable. as like a throwaway ‘oh and this too i guess’
