Some days Charles Leclerc was your simply your boyfriend. Other days he was one of the most famous people in Monaco. Today was one of the latter days, as he was scheduled for a photoshoot with his high end sponsor, the jewelry brand APM Monaco.

The brand had picked out a luxurious suit for Charles to wear along with numerous bracelets, rings, and a pricey necklace. You had admired the choice when he had showed it to you and could only imagine how handsome he would look when he was wearing it.

Soon you wouldn't have to imagine. Charles was in the shower, cleaning up before he got dressed. As far as he knew, you were watching your favorite show on TV, waiting to see him before he went to the shoot. He took his time, washing his hair and body before stepping out of the water and wrapping a towel around his waist. He brushed his teeth and dried his hair next. Finally, he left the bathroom and walked into your closet to get dressed.

Charles looked at the hanger where he had left his jacket. He blinked in confusion and looked at the hanger where he had hung his suit pants. Finally, he examined the one where he had put his shirt. They were all empty. In fact, the only part of the outfit he could find was the jewelry. He was alarmed, as he had definitely put all of the items in their respective spots. How could they have just vanished?

"Babe?" Charles called out from the closet. "Have you seen my clothes? I left them right here."

He got no response.

"Babe?"

Again, nothing. Had someone broken into your apartment? His clothes and apparently you were missing. In a panic, he tugged on some underwear and walked out of the closet into your living room.

"Oh come on baby!" he exclaimed when he realized what was going on.

You were standing in the middle of the room, wearing his suit jacket over your clothes. You held his shirt and pants in the air tauntingly with a mischievous smile.

"If you want to wear these, you're going to have to get them!" you said.

"Game on." Charles smirked as he walked closer to you. You backed away, carful to keep the clothes just out of his reach. He lunged for them, but you darted away, running for the kitchen. Charles was fast, but you were more agile. You dodged the chairs around the kitchen table and he tripped over one behind you.

"Gotta be quicker than that, babe!" you shouted as you ran back to the living room.

"Do you want me to go to the photoshoot in my boxers?" he asked, following behind you.

"I certainly don't mind when you wear less clothes."

He laughed and chased you into the bedroom. You jumped on the bed and held the clothes out of his reach again. Charles jumped onto the bed and grabbed your legs. You both fell into a tangled mess on your bed, giggling as he pulled them from your arms. You fought back as he leaned over you on the bed. You were now trapped under him.

"I win," he said with a goofy smile. You leaned up and grabbed his face to kiss him, pulling him down onto you.

"I think I'm the real winner, I got a Charles Leclerc to chase me with no clothes on. You know how many girls would kill for that opportunity?"

"I don't need to think about other girls when I have you, babe."

You couldn't help but blush a little at the comment and his sheer proximity to you. Even though you had been dating for months, he still had a way of making you feel flustered.

"Now I'm going to be late for the photoshoot if you don't give me my jacket."

You sighed dramatically and stood up from the bed. You pulled the jacket off reluctantly and handed it to him. As you watched him get dressed, you realized that he looked better in the suit than you had previously imagined. It was immaculately tailored and fit his body perfectly. When he put on the jewelry, he looked absolutely stunning.

"How do I look?" he asked, turning around to face you. You nearly melted at the sight.

"Incredible, babe."

He pulled you close and kissed you on the lips. "Let me tell you a secret."

"What?"

"I think you looked better in the jacket," he whispered in your ears.

You watched as he pulled away before smiling at you one last time and walking out the door. He may have been Charles Leclerc, famous formula 1 driver, but to you he truly he was just your sweet, loving boyfriend.

you wore a sunset backless high slit design dress. an orange lily resting in your hair that’s up in a bun. a chain with his name clasped around your neck. a fan made bracelet with orange beads and monochrome letters that spell out ‘norris’ dangled on your wrist that was given to you when you first arrived in the paddock.

since lap thirty-three when lando starting leading the grand prix. despite, the excitement bubbling inside of you, you ignored it not wanting to jinx him in any kind of way. after five years of hard work he deserved it.

he’s 5.7 seconds clear out front with seven laps left before he passes the checkered flag first. it was always in the matter of time when not if. cheers and congratulations filled the mclaren garage. tears formed in your eyes as you happily cry in the arms of lily, oscar’s girlfriend. you hurriedly went to see lando on the podium beside of zak with the rest of papaya orange following shortly behind.

a tear slip from your watery eyes as you watch him ever so happy standing on the podium. packed behind the barrier you right up in front with zak behind you. not minding that you was the one cheering the loudest. a smile angled towards you from the podium as the national anthem played. gosh, that smile. he was shining, glowing as the sunlight shined on him. your phone held proudly up to allow adam, lando’s dad, see his son on the podium through facetime.

the promise you made after his first formula one race in the comforts of the melbourne hotel. you were very much so going to hold up to your promise. so, before you went celebrating that night in miami you made a stop at a tattoo parlor where you gotten the miami track and the date tattooed on your right shoulder in the longing memory of his first win and many more to come.

- Your one year anniversary came around, and Adrian ended up taking some time off of work to jet off to Monaco with you, where you rented a luxurious yacht and spent the entire day and night with each other, swimming in the cool waters in the mornings then spending time at the grand casino all night.

Geneva, July 2019 – The Geneva-based maison participates in November’s charity auction with a Faubourg de Cracovie with light blue details, inspired by this year’s Only Watch official colour: Czapek Only Watch Onyx & Chalcedony Chronograph – Czapek Faubourg de Cracovie “Only Watch”.

For the second time, Czapek & Cie. will support the Only Watch charity auction with a unique piece, the Faubourg de Cracovie Only Watch – a black onyx dial version of its audacious and charming chronograph. Held under the patronage of Prince Albert II of Monaco, Only Watch is organized by the Association Monégasque contre les Myopathies and is the world’s leading charity auction entirely devoted to research on Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Since 2005, more than 40 million Swiss Francs have been raised in the event’s seven editions to finance research in this field.

“Doing well by doing good has always been part of our mission and vision as we revived the brand” declares Xavier de Roquemaurel, CEO of Czapek & Cie. “Altogether we have won many battles: the battle of altruism and empathy; the battle of beauty and research of excellence; the battle of awareness for research on Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Based on the Czapek’s chronograph Faubourg de Cracovie, this timepiece features a magnificent and deep black onyx dial that is beautifully offset by the chalcedony counters in reference to the official colour of Only Watch 8th edition. Striped chalcedony adds to the piece an extraordinary feel. “The rarity of this semi precious stone and its natural stripes convey a sense of immortal beauty.”

The onyx dial of the Faubourg de Cracovie Only Watch hosts the inscription “Courage every second” between 12 and 2 o’clock, the same emblematic sentence that was “secretly” engraved on the white grand-feu enamel dial of the unique piece created for Only Watch 2017.

“Courage every second is now becoming Czapek signature to support Only Watch and the battle against this disease. It is a reminder of the purpose of our own life, of our passage on earth, and as well a way to let our heart beat in harmony with the kids and their family.” adds Xavier.

The timepiece is encased in 41.5 mm titanium case with black ADLC® coating fitted with a sapphire crystal glass-box on the dial side. It is powered by the SXH3 caliber, visible through the sapphire glass caseback. This integrated column-wheel automatic chronograph movement was built by Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier in a bespoke execution for Czapek. It delivers 65h power reserve from a single barrel that drives the balance wheel at 36,000 vph. Its linear hammer reduces wear and tear on parts and resets all the associated dials in one easy movement, while the vertical clutch ensures a perfect start for the chronograph hand.

The Faubourg de Cracovie Only Watch will be auctioned off on November 9, 2019 in Geneva, under the hammer of Christie’s. From 25 September to 9 November the timepiece will be showcased at first class events, Christie’s salerooms as well as leading retailers, in Monaco, Dubai, Paris, London, New York, Tokyo, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taipei and Geneva. The Principality of Monaco will host the first stop of itinerant exhibition, on the occasion of the Monaco Yacht Show.

About Czapek & Cie

François Czapek was a Czech-born Polish watchmaker who fled to Geneva in 1832 after fighting in the Polish Uprising. He started his own atelier in 1833 and a second one in 1839. In 1845 he created Czapek & Cie and achieved considerable success. The three watches in this limited edition all display the stylized red lacquer “S”, the exclusive Senna symbol, on the dial and bezel. The bezel also has a minute track, lending the pieces a racing feel. Two of the watches are powered by a TAG Heuer quartz movement, which, according to the brand, offers almost perfect precision with a variation of only a few seconds per month. The top of the line TAG Heuer Carrera Heuer 01 Chronograph is powered by a Heuer 01 movement. TAG Heuer Carrera Heuer-01 Chronograph The watch runs on the Heuer-01 movement and features a skeletonized dial layout with several Senna-inspired design elements. The 45-mm case is made of brushed steel with a black PVD coating and is topped by a domed sapphire crystal with nonreflective treatment on both sides. A sapphire exhibition caseback, adorned with a red Senna “S” logo, reveals the movement, which is self-winding and holds a power reserve of 50 hours. The crown at 3 o’clock is made of steel and black rubber, and the chronograph push-buttons at 2 and 4 o’clock are in PVD-coated steel. The opaline black, skeletonized dial, surrounded by a black ceramic bezel with a tachymeter scale, has subdials at 12, 6, and 9 o’clock for chronograph minutes, chronograph hours, and small seconds, respectively. $6,200 Formula 1 Chronograph and Formula 1 Three Hander With Date The other two models are from the Formula 1 collection. Both have 43mm cases in black-PVD-coated stainless steel and feature dials with red “racing” lines on their right side. The bezels are in brushed steel and feature the “Senna” logo and text. The chronograph has a slightly different tricompax dial layout from that of the Carrera 01, with elapsed hours at 6 o’clock, elapsed minutes at 9 o’clock, and small seconds (with a red Senna logo), at 3 o’clock. The hands on both watches are red lacquered and, like the dials’ polished black indices, treated with white Super-LumiNova. The date appears at 3:30 on the chronograph, and at 3 o’clock on the three-hand. The chronograph and the three-hand model feature solid steel screw-down casebacks engraved with the Senna symbol and a TAG Heuer logo on a checkered-flag back background. Both come on a black-and-red rubber bracelet with S-shaped links and a brushed steel buckle. $1,650 for the Formula 1 chronograph and $1,450 for the Formula 1 three-hander with date.
