Halo-Halo - Bakugo x Reader

This is just a little something I whipped up for @misfit-megumi - since I am patiently waiting for my own chance to eat Halo-Halo I'll use my time to torture Bakugo a little bit. I know it's probably not as sweet, but I consider Bakugo as sweet-adverse as my best friend...?

“You don’t have to be nervous-”

“I’m not nervous!” Katsuki’s voice is too loud in the car, his big hand slick with sweat around yours.

“They already like you-”

“That’s not the point.” He growls and you lean back in your seat to look at him.

His hair, formerly combed back in a way that would make Best Jeanist proud, has already started defying gravity again. He’s fussing over it every time he sees himself in the mirror while checking the traffic behind him. 

You didn’t know him in high school, but you’ve seen pictures. Mina would kill for a picture of him now, the crisp lines of his shirt, his tie tied to perfection.

“Are you wearing that shirt that your Dad made?”

“Yeah.” Katsuki huffs. “What about it?”

“It suits you.” Your words are simple but he still blushes to the tips of his ears. Oh yeah, he’s so nervous.

“Of course it suits me.” He’s still trying to cover up his nerves. “My Dad made it. He knows me.”

“That he does.” 

Again, Katsuki drags one hand through his hair as if trying to keep it down before resting his hand on yours. 

“My mother will love you.” You say quietly, knowing he will hear it. “After everything I’ve told her, she thinks you’re a saint.”

“I’m not the saint in this relationship.” Katsuki parks the car and throws you a look. This time, his eyes are wide open and vulnerable. 

You’d love nothing more than to hold him, let him lean into you, reassure him that he’s got nothing to worry about. But that’s not how Katsuki works.

So you smile instead, cheeky and daring.

“You’re right. I’m your little angel!”

He huffs, grin wide on his lips as he exits the car and walks around to open your door.

Your mother is already at the door before you can take Katsuki’s outstretched hand.

“You’re here!” She calls to the rest of the family. “They are here. Quick!”

In a matter of seconds, your family gathers. There’s your father, your mother, your brother, and at least two cats dancing between all of your feet.

Katsuki’s doing pretty well at keeping his cool even though you know he’s not a fan of so many people hanging off him.

“Surely you must be hungry!” Your mother ushers you inside. “After such a long trip! I wish Japan was closer so that you could visit us more often.”

You know she probably doesn’t mean it, but you can feel the guilt trip getting to work.

A warm hand wraps around your wrist and tugs you back until you crash into Katsuki’s chest. He smirks into your cheek.

“Don’t even think about it.” He whispers into your ear and you shiver, nodding. He knows how hard you’ve worked to make a name for yourself, away from your family, standing on your own two feet.

Curious eyes follow you as you walk through the house.

Your father asks about your travels, how much Katsuki’s already seen, and what he’s thought about it. Katsuki, to your surprise, keeps his opinion civil and polite.

That doesn’t mean he’s lying. He’s just softening the blow when he thinks something sucks - like the weather, for example. 

The heat’s killing him. If not for the control of his quirk it would also kill you, quite literally. He’s never sweat that much in the time you’ve been together and that says a lot.

“I made us some refreshments.” Your mother announces just as you take a seat at the dining table. You hope for some lemonade, ice cold and refreshing. 

Katsuki loathes anything sweet, that much you have learned, hardly ever goes for an ice cream even on the hottest days. 

What your mother brings out, isn’t lemonade.

It’s Halo-Halo. 

“I hope you like it.” Your mother beams down at you even as you look at the glasses in horror. There’s no way Katsuki will eat that. 

“Babe, you don’t-” You start just as he digs his spoon into the purple Ube Halaya Jam on top. He pops it into his mouth and stares you down like he’s daring you to make him stop.

“What do you think? I did use more Ube Halaya Jam for this because you like it more this way. You can have more if you need it a bit sweeter.”

You might be imagining it, but it looks like Katsuki’s teeth are sticking together as he smiles.

“It’s fantastic.” He takes another spoonful and you suspect it’s only so he doesn’t have to talk.

In a matter of minutes, he empties his bowl. Your mother takes away his bowl and his hand finds yours under the table, squeezing hard.

You know what that means. He did it for you. 

Oh, this stupid boy that loves you so much in his own weird way.

“Thank you.” You whisper back. “I know how much that cost you.”

He licks his lips, blue from the Ube ice cream.

“Worth it.” He winks at you. “If I get you.”

ushijima wakatoshi

• actually it was absolutely reasonable for you to be sure that you are wakatoshi’s first

• so when you ask him about his bodycount you are utterly shocked to hear ushijima after some thinking say “ten”

• initially you think that’s a joke. apparently, it can’t be that much. it was your cute, innocent toshi after all. the one that doesn’t talk much, the one that doesn’t get along with people easily, the one that doesn’t show his affectionate and caring side to everyone

• you can’t help it but start thinking about every time some girl got flirty and over the line with your toshi. how she 'accidentally' touched his arm, playfully called out his name and then mischievously pulled the hem of his shirt

• you can feel the disgust filling up your body as the imaginary girl and ushijima get too intimate in your thoughts. then they get to the point that you were hesitating to even think about in your relationship

• you try to make these despicable thoughts go away. but it only gets worse and worse and more detailed. you don’t even notice how your eyes become full of tears

• when wakatoshi sees your confusion and bewilderment he starts to explain in the calm voice. but as soon as he catches your eyes be weirdly shining with tears he rushes towards you and murmurs in the most gentle way possible

• it’s odd to hear such a deep voice like toshi’s be sweet and hoarse. he was always saying that he’s not very good with the right words. but now when you are clearly not able to hear him, you sense that he’s saying the most precious things just to reach you

• as you start to wipe your face intensely, you feel his big hands carefully take your face. “angel.” you meet his golden brown eyes looking right into yours softly. he caresses your hair mindlessly as if trying to lull you to sleep. and that actually comforts you.

• you’re still crying, though. not as much as earlier but more like a defensive reflex. and this is when toshi continues to speak. “i’ve never had feelings for any of them. not the kind i have for you.”

• you can tell by the his heavy look that this is the very truth. and you really want to believe that. but when he embraces you, you feel a steady beat of his heart. that’s the moment when the horrible image in your head is withdrawn.

tendou satori

• tendou’s personality is the brightest thing on this planet and there can be no dispute. so you haven’t really thought that about him having sex with someone. ever. well, actually, maybe one or two times

• so when he says “about thirteen” you can’t manage to keep your face straight and emotionless. you try to come back to your senses and act more careless but your whole body doesn’t really respond

• you start convincing yourself that this shouldn’t be a surprise. after all, it’s okay for such a lovely person like tendou to be desirable. however this thought doesn’t help much

• you’ve always thought that only you shared this special connection. and maybe it is the truth. but thinking about someone else wanting satori and him not resisting isn’t the most reassuring argument. you don’t hold back and let the tears fall right on the table where you were sitting.

• satori’s reaction is instantaneous. he’s lurching towards you swiftly and his hands move rapidly all over your body. “sweetheart, hey. hey, hey, hey, hey.” tendou is anxiously searching for a response from you. but that just makes you cry harder

• «love, i didn’t want to make you… i just didn’t think that… i’m sorry, i…” tendou tries to find the right words and panics more at your every sob. but when he finally figures it out

• you feel his lips pressed against yours and it makes your mind blurry. you don’t really remember now what you were so upset about. all you can think now is that how you want more of that kiss. of tendou

• but suddenly the rather pleasure is interrupted. “i’m sorry, princess. i didn’t mean to upset you, i really love you and…” you don’t wait for him to end the sentence and passionately kiss him again. who cares about other girl, when you have satori’s lips next to yours. right now.

THE GOING MERRY WAS CURRENTLY DOCKED AT A QUAINT ISLAND'S HARBOR, the scent of adventure lingered in the salty sea breeze, and the air was filled with the tantalizing aroma of food wafting from the nearby restaurant. It was a sight for sore eyes after days at sea. 

The crew disembarked, their eyes wide with wonder at the charming coastal town. A Restaurant was perched on a cliff overlooking the bay, and its soft, golden lights beckoned like stars in the night. 

Nami gathered everyone around and issued a gentle reminder, ''Everyone meet back here by 6, okay? - And please, try not to get into fights.'' she added with a pointed look at the male members of the crew, eliciting a soft chuckle from you as you stood by her side.

The boys nodded in agreement, with some grinning sheepishly at Nami's warning about avoiding fights. With that, the group dispersed to explore the town, leaving you and Nami to head off together.

She had insisted on helping you get ready for the evening, promising that the right outfit would make a lasting impression on Sanji. 

The sun dipped below the horizon, painting the sky in hues of orange and pink as you followed Nami through the winding streets of the coastal town. The soft glow of lanterns illuminated the cobblestone pathways, casting dancing shadows on the walls of charming shops and cafes.

Nami led you to a small, elegant boutique tucked away in a quiet corner. It was a treasure trove of beautiful dresses and accessories. She combed through the racks with the precision of a skilled treasure hunter, her fingers occasionally stopping on a particular dress, considering it before moving on.

You couldn't help but admire Nami's expertise. Her discerning eye seemed to pick up on every detail, and her sense of style was unparalleled. 

After some deliberation, Nami pulled out a dress that seemed to capture the essence of the coastal town itself. It was a flowing, pristine white dress adorned with delicate lace that mimicked the frothy waves of the sea. The fabric felt cool and luxurious to the touch, and you couldn't help but smile at the choice.

''This is the one,'' Nami declared with a satisfied grin. ''It's perfect for tonight. Just wait until Sanji sees you in this.''

With Nami's guidance, you selected a pair of elegant sandals and a necklace that complemented the dress beautifully. The transformation was remarkable, and as you looked at yourself in the boutique's mirror, you felt a newfound confidence.

Upon returning to the ship, you were met with admiration and awe from your fellow crewmates. Luffy gave a thumbs-up, Usopp praised your elegance, and even Zoro managed a rare, appreciative nod. But it was Sanji's reaction that left the deepest impression.

Sanji's eyes were widened, his cigarette nearly slipping from his lips when he caught sight of you. You couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and gratitude as you settled in at the long, polished table with them. Nami regaled everyone with tales of the island's history and culture, her eyes occasionally meeting yours with a knowing twinkle.

As the night continued at the restaurant, you found yourself drawn to the bar, its soft, warm lights casting a gentle glow on the polished wooden surface. It beckoned you like a siren, promising a moment of solitude and reflection amidst the lively atmosphere.

Leaving the laughter and conversations of your fellow crewmates you excused yourself from the table with a polite smile, before making your way through the bustling restaurant toward the inviting glow of the bar area.

Taking a seat on one of the cushioned stools, you found yourself lost in thought, gazing at the array of colorful bottles lining the shelves. The bartender, a friendly and experienced soul, approached with a warm smile.

''What can I get you tonight?''

You contemplated your choice for a moment before deciding on a signature cocktail of the house. The bartender nodded appreciatively and set to work, expertly mixing the drink. As he worked, you couldn't help but feel a sense of peace settle over you, as if the world outside had momentarily ceased to exist.

Sanji, ever watchful, couldn't help but notice your departure from the table. His concern for your well-being overcame his hesitation, and he decided to join you at the bar. With a quick excuse, he left the table and made his way toward you.

However, just as he was about to reach your side, he paused abruptly. His heart sank as he noticed you engaged in lively conversation with a stranger. You were laughing, sharing stories, and seemed entirely engrossed in the conversation.

As he stood at a distance, watching you engage in conversation with a stranger at the bar, a mixture of emotions washed over him. Concern for your well-being had driven him to follow you, but now he found himself feeling a bit uneasy. He didn't want to intrude on your moment of solitude, but the sight of you enjoying yourself with someone he didn't know raised questions in his mind.

He decided to give you some space and waited nearby, keeping a watchful eye on the situation. As the minutes passed, he observed your body language and the interaction between you and the stranger. Sanji knew you could handle yourself, but he couldn't help but feel protective.

As Sanji continued to keep an eye on you from a distance, he suddenly felt a gentle tap on his shoulder. Turning around, he was met with the sight of a young woman standing before him, a warm and inviting smile on her face. She looked to be about his age, and her presence was both confident and charming.

"Hey there, I couldn't help but notice you standing here all alone. Would you like to dance?"

Sanji, who had been focused on watching over you, was taken aback for a moment. However, he couldn't deny the allure of the moment, and he appreciated the girl's courage in approaching him. With a suave smile and a slight bow, he replied, "Well, it would be my pleasure."

You took another sip of your cocktail, your gaze lingering on the dance floor. Sanji's graceful moves and the easy chemistry between him and the girl were impossible to ignore. You found yourself torn between wanting to see him happy and feeling a pang of envy at the connection he was forging with someone else.

The woman’s laughter and Sanji's charismatic charm only intensified your conflicting emotions. You tried to push the jealousy aside - After all, you were having your own engaging conversation at the bar, and there was no reason for you to feel this way.

However, despite your best efforts, the jealousy lingered, gnawing at the edges of your thoughts. 

"You really should slow down with that," Dos, the kind stranger you had been talking to, spoke in a gentle but firm tone.  "It's a strong drink, and you don't want to overdo it."

You waved off his advice with a carefree gesture, taking another swig of your drink ''Let’s dance!''

The effects of the cocktails you had consumed began to take hold. Your movements became a bit unsteady, and your laughter grew louder and more exuberant. 

As you danced, the world around you seemed to blur, and the music's infectious rhythm took hold of your senses. You twirled and swayed, laughter spilling from your lips.

Sanji watched you and Dos from a distance, concern etched on his face as he observed your intoxicated state. He couldn't help but worry about your well-being, and when he saw you stumble slightly while dancing, he decided it was time to step in.

With a determined stride, he approached the pair, his voice polite but laced with a hint of concern. "Hey," he said, addressing Dos with a friendly smile, "Mind if I steal her from you for a moment? She's had a bit too much to drink, and I'd like to make sure she's okay."

Dos, understanding the situation, nodded with a kind and understanding expression. "Of course," he replied. "Take care of your friend. She's a great dancer, by the way." He gave you a nod and a pat on the shoulder before stepping back, allowing Sanji to take over.

Sanji's eye twitched in irritation before turning his attention to you, offering a supportive arm. "Come on, darling," he said gently, "let's get you back to the ship. We wouldn't want you feeling too rough in the morning."

“What? No!”

Sanji sighed inwardly, recognizing that your intoxicated state might make you a bit stubborn. He maintained his composure, trying to reason with you in a patient tone. "I know you're having a good time, but you've had enough to drink, and I don't want you to wake up with a terrible hangover," he explained, his concern still evident in his eyes.

You pouted and swayed a bit on your feet, clearly not in the mood to leave the lively atmosphere of the restaurant. "But the music is so fun, and Dos is a great dance partner!" you protested, clinging to the bar for support.

Sanji visibly frowned at your response, continuing to try to convince you to leave the restaurant and head back to the ship for your own well-being. He couldn't help but feel a bit envious of the attention you were giving Dos and the time you were spending together, especially in your drunken state.

However, just as he was about to insist more, you surprised him by wrapping your arms around him. The sudden embrace caught him off guard, and he blinked in surprise, his irritation now forgotten.

You looked up at him with a playful glint in your eye, your smile a bit mischievous. "Sanji," you said, your voice warm and inviting, "Why don't we dance together for a little while? I promise to go back to the ship after this dance."

Sanji's heart skipped a beat at your unexpected invitation. He couldn't resist your charm and the genuine affection he saw in your eyes. His irritation and jealousy melted away as he reciprocated your embrace, holding you close.

A smile graced his lips as he nodded in agreement. "Of course, my dear," he replied, his voice softening. "I'd be delighted to dance with you."

As Sanji led you in graceful twirls and elegant steps, it was clear that his skill as a dancer was remarkable, even in his slightly tipsy state. His movements were fluid and precise, his confidence shining through as he guided you across the dance floor.

"You know, Sanji," you began. "if we ever get tired of the pirate life, we could always become a dance duo. We'd make a fortune!"

Sanji couldn't help but play along with your mischievous idea. He flashed a grin and replied, "Well, my dear, I've heard rumors of the Grand Line hosting various dance competitions. Perhaps we could establish a reputation as the most stylish pirate dance duo to ever grace those waters."

You both chuckled, the idea of swaying and twirling your way to fame in the pirate world sounding both ridiculous and enticing.

You continued, "And just think, our crewmates can be our backup dancers. We'll be unstoppable!"

Sanji nodded with enthusiasm. "Exactly! Nami could handle the finances, Zoro could... well, maybe not Zoro. But we'll figure something out."

Your head tilted back, and the room was filled with the sound of your laughter.

Made a Hermes design, might update and tweak it overtime tho

+ a some notes on the details of my Hermes design! I took some inspo from @.solchariot's old(?) Hermes design, that being the three sets of wings on his head, since it also reminded me of an oc of mine!! And also some inspo from various other artists such as @.laritamiauu's Hermes design for the shoulder bag and for the shawl, except larita's design has a full on coat instead of a shawl ^^

I didn't tag them since I don't know if they were okay with being tagged! I'm willing to change that if they're okay with it, though ^^

Laito is one of the rare diaboys that actually would consider his s/o an equal. Most diaboys wouldn't no matter how much they loved their s/o. Laito respects you as an equal and he'll let you take charge.

F - Fight (Do they forgive easily? How do they fight?)

If you do/say something that makes him really pissed, he'll probably just distance himself to deal with his feelings on his own.

G - Gratitude (How grateful are they in general? How do they show their gratitude?)

Laito's extremely grateful that you taught him what love was and helped him deal with his trauma. Likewise, he's ashamed of his past behavior and any mention of it makes him become withdrawn for a time. He often feels like he doesn't deserve you because of his past actions towards other women and works everyday to deserve you, no matter how much you say he doesn't have to.

H - Honesty (Do they share everything with you? If they do keep something from you, why?)

Laito can be secretive if he thinks that you knowing something will only cause you pain or stress. But anything important that you deserve to know, he'll share. He won't keep secrets for no reason and is generally open and communicative with you.

I - Inspiration (Did they get inspired to change by you? How so?)

Yes, he realized love was more than sex and that to truly own someone, you must have their heart. It's easy to force someone's body, but to truly have them as yours, you have to have their heart and they need to choose to be yours.

J - Jealousy (Do they get jealous easily? How do they act when they're jealous?)

Yes. As mentioned earlier, he feels like he doesn't deserve you, so he's surprisingly insecure. He hides this with anger and possessiveness. He doesn't want you or anyone knowing just how to insecure he is.

Yes, amazing. Slow, head-tilting. A kiss of passion. Whether it's sexual, romantic, fast, or slow and sweet, it makes your body heat up and come to life.

He still likes to call you "Little Bitch" but he'll also call you princess (or prince or another royal title) maybe something super cheesy too like cuddlemuffins just for fun

He carries himself differently. He walks like a man in love rather than prowling around flirting with everyone. His brothers definitely know and other students can probably guess just cuz he's not flirting.

No he's down for PDA. Lots of kissing and snuggling, he also likes to nuzzle your ear/neck

Alastor looks like he completely, unironically, without any strings attached wanted to cheer Lucifer up. I can't help but imagine that the smile is genuine and not an act.

Meanwhile Lucifer has that kinda 'Maybe this guy isn't so bad after all.' kinda look on his face. He's tired.

Alastor could tell. He could feel Lucifers sheer restlessness and sadness. He didn't like that. He would never admit that he didn't like seeing Lucifer like that.

At the end of it Alastor claims that he's doing this just because of Charlie.

Yeah right.

Lucifer can tell.

He can tell that Alastor actually cares for him, as odd as that thought is.

I think that the two would eventually actually bond after spending time with the gang in the hotel even though they wouldn't really realize it.

I'm just imagining Alastor slipping up and doing things that are actually nice and sweet for Lucifer, and Lucifer just acting as if he can't tell, meanwhile he's totally aware.

And then he eventually confronts Alastor about it.

And I don't know where else to take it... maybe alastor having a crisis over it which Rosie helps him out of?

And then he actually doesn't hide these acts of kindness and Lucifer is all surprised?

Hedge’s Unofficial Ratings of 2024 Adidas Kits That A Few People Asked For This Time

Let’s start strong with Germany! Did someone say kuntenserven?

Everyone’s seen this home kit and rightfully, everyone loves it. It’s just so sexy, how could you not? The crisp clean white paired with the classic adidas stripes, but with that sexy germany flag gradient? oh lord i’m weak at the knees. Naturally it’s helped by the fact that the germans have a pretty sexy colour pallete to work with, but still.Even the diamond detailing like oml. It just looks fire, literally. i love it. -9/10

The away kit meanwhile is kind of spinning my head a bit. I genuinely don’t know if i love it or hate it. in theory i love hot pink kits, but i also fucking hate the purple gradient. if the whole thing was pink i’d say absolutely yes because i genuinely love garish eyesores, but this is just not hitting the spot for me. also what’s with the pattern? this is what i imagine you would see if a hedgehog went down on you. undecided - 5.5/10

Wales’s sense of style reflects their Euros qualifications… in that i’m yet to see either

don’t get me wrong the home isn’t bad, it’s just nothing special, and nothing we haven’t seen before. i like the green and yellow stripes up the side, that’s a nice touch, but other than that i’m left feeling uninspired, which is probably how the welsh feel when they watch their men’s team play. still, i’m sure hayley ladd serves in it so - 6/10

the away kit though? yep that’s fucking ugly. whoever decided that wales should include yellow in their red and green colour scheme needs jail time, and also probably an eye test. what the fuck is that shade? yellow is very hard to make look good so props for trying, but just no. plus they missed the chance for green kits, objectively the best kit colour possible, yet also the most underused. (and don’t say it’s because it blends into the grass because that’s blatantly not true). i like the fun zigzags down the side, but it’s giving reggae, which is absolutely not the vibe that wales gives. should’ve put a big dragon on the front and called it a day - 3/10

Spain, what did I just say about ugly yellow kits?

The home kit is lovely. They didn’t feel the need to push the boat out, but why disrupt a classic? These shades go so well together, and there’s also a very faint but very nice pattern on the shirt if you look closely. its bright, it’s energetic. it’s giving fire, flames and lightning mcqueen. kachow! - 8/10

Away kit is absolutely fucking disgusting. Are adidas capable of making two nice kits for one team? If you asked me to describe the absolute worst shade of yellow i’d picture exactly that. the word that comes to mind is putrid. and as if that wasn’t enough, they decided to pair it with an absolutely clashing shade of turquoise. no thank you. no me gusta - 3/10

No Scotland No Party? Well with this kit, I’m inclined to agree.

Who would’ve thought a tartan football kit could be a good idea? Not me, and yet here comes Scotland, with an actual fucking masterpiece. This home kit is just, wow. I love it. It’s so clever, such a good nod to the country, and it just looks absolutely incredible. I fucking adore it. I don’t have much else to say other than whoever made this knew what they were doing. Good job - 10/10

The away kit meanwhile, is again, astonishingly mid. It’s fine I guess. Very plain, kind of giving the colour scheme of a cartoon character but i can’t put my finger on which one, but it’s still decent. The colours do go well together, and i like how the side panelling, includes that tartan pattern again, which as i already mentioned, is fucking sexy. just maybe stick to the home - 6/10

The away kit is boring as fuck too, but i actually like this one a lot. i think white kits have more license to bore. it’s a nice colour scheme too. does look a bit italian though. idk it looks good but i can’t say why. it’s just classic. the centre adidas logo looks good here. it’s the green im telling you. more green please! - 7.5/10

oh my god this home kit. i’m in love and i suddenly wish i was belgian. wow. holy shit. who did belgium pay to get a kit this nice? i’m in genuine awe. the sexy sexy maroon colour, paired with black and gold? fuck me sideways. i’m not joking when i say this kit oozes sex. that pattern?? oh my lord. it’s giving luxury velvet chaise longue. its giving old timey men in those smoking jackets, with a glass of whiskey and a cigar. i feel like i’m in the palace of versailles just looking at it. wow belgium, wow. - 11/10

not only that, they did it! they actually gave us two good kits! this one is based off tintin, and who doesn’t fucking love tintin? i adore it. lovely shade of blue, with this gorgeous pattern again, and the collar? collars should only be used if they add something to the kit, and boy does this add a whole fucking lot. thank you tintin you beautiful boy. what a kit. - 10/10

The common theme with adidas is boredom. At least when i was rating nike i actually had stuff to talk about. these are just okay. like yep okay it’s fine. there’s nothing wrong with it. i like the flag shoulder stripes. but yeah, it’s just there. i’ve forgotten what it looks like already i’m that bored - 6/10

the away kit is exactly the same. to be fair, i do like the asymmetric colour scheme, that’s quite nice. it’s simple, it’s clean, it’s just the italian flag really isn’t it? the collar is nice in fairness. it’s decent. - 7/10

i literally am so in love with this kit that i’m lost for words. just everything about this is so stunning that i’m struggling to believe it’s a real adidas kit and not a fan made one from tiktok. this pattern has so much going on yet without being garish or busy, it just works. the colours go together so well, i’m just sat here staring at it with tears in my eyes. it’s art. i love it so much thank you mexico thank you - 11/10

and it just gets better with the away kit? this is so fucking sexy, so clean. it complements the home kit perfectly. it’s such a fun pattern but it’s also so classy, so beautiful. both of these kits invoke mexico without being either stereotypical or same-old same-old. i just love it. i love when kits are different!! more please, everyone else take notes!! - 10/10

Colombia took me a while but I’m actually a fan

i hated this at first because i thought it was just a plain boring yellow kit but then i saw those sexy ombre side panels. i just love red orange yellow colour schemes, like yes they hurt my eyes but it’s just such a sexy combination. fire for real. the yellow prevents it from getting top marks bc yellow is just fugly let’s be real, but overall it’s not bad - 7/10

now, you guys now i feel about black kits. more please!!! black is always sleek, it’s always classy, it’s always cool as fuck! big fan. this also seems abnormally shiny, which like okay serve i guess? the only thing i will say is it’s giving training kits with the orange highlights, but we can’t all be mexico, can we? - 8/10

the away on the other hand? wow wow. this is what colombia wishes it was. this is a sexy fucking black kit, and pairing it with dark red and gold? oh lord yes please. sexy as fuck, plus a cheeky bit of animal print? okayyyy get it. even those little bits at the side that adidas seem obsessed with this year are sexy. it’s reminding me of a cheeky little leg slit in a cheeky little dress, and then you get a cheeky little glimpse of some cheeky little red zebra print thongs. okay word. peru you cheeky little minx, stop teasing me. - 9/10

Chile stayed solid, and you can’t go wrong with that.

these are both just nice kits. the home is classy, it’s just a simple white kit but it looks fresh as hell, and the red swoops look so good. also love that the patterning they’ve used on the red matches the away kit. it’s very simple but it’s clearly thought out and i respect that. they saw the others going ham with crazy patterns and stuck to their guns. it just looks nice. - 7/10

the away is a similar story - nothing flashy, but effortlessly nice. i rate the little pixel pattern, it’s simple but it’s nice. it’s a decent kit. could’ve pushed the boat out a tiny bit more but overall it’s fine. it’s giving national league a tiny bit. respect chile - 7/10

Finally, you can always count on Argentina to serve.

The home kit is just pure argentina innit? like there’s no way you see this kit and see anything other than argentina, and i respect that. it’s just a classic! it’s clean it’s crisp, we’ve seen it all before, but listen, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. can’t go wrong. also i’m a huge believer that gold should only be permitted on a kit if you’ve won something, and so mad respect for these sexy gold highlights.- 8/10

and the away kit? i’m a huge fan. it’s a nice simple kit, they’ve gone for a new shade of blue and it’s pretty sexy. the collar looks so fit here, i love it. what i love the most though, is how they’ve incorporated the usual kit into the swoopy bits? (that’s their official name now i’ve decided). anyway those blue and white stripes just look so yummy, very nautical, i’m a big fan. yay argentina! - 9/10

  You stared at his sword with obvious interest. Your eyes glinted with curiosity as you studied it. Yes, it was a very cool sword indeed. Seeing your reflection on his sword, Muichirou’s hand paused; He was cleaning his sword. He looked up and stared at you.

  Noticing his gaze on you, you looked up and looked into his eyes too. The both of you engaged in a stare contest before you broke apart the connection. “I like how your sword looks,” you grinned, “Can I inspect it more closely?” Muichirou looked at your outstretched palm. It was rough, very unladylike. A kind and sweet soul like you would never had to find bloodied and sharp swords fascinating or even encounter one if you didn’t survive what you did. Yet as quickly as the sudden urge to show you the care you had clearly missed out, it left just as quickly and he was left with a blank and blurred mind.

  Looking back up at you, he placed his sword onto your hand gently. “Yes.” Your eyes lit up as you enthusiastically ran your fingers along the edge of the blade, careful not to cut yourself. Sitting down, you admired the patterns engraved on the sword. Softly murmuring the words on his sword to yourself, you gently flipped the sword over and grinned at your reflection in the blade. Muichirou looked at your actions and behaviour. Was his sword really that fascinating to you? Regardless, he still had places to patrol.

  Stretching his hand out to you as a way to ask for his sword back, he watched as you noticed his hand and looked back up at him. Out of habit, you smiled and placed your hand in his, used to pulling people up and being pulled up from sitting positions. Pausing for a moment, he tugged you up. He paused again. He lifted up both of your hands and inspected it, slightly caressing your hand with his thumb. You felt a slight shiver from the unfamiliar sensation of his calloused thumb rubbing against your hand. Not wanting to disturb his thought process, you carefully observed his expressions.

  Muichirou stared at your joint hands. He felt warmth all throughout him. He liked this. It was nice. You noted that his thoughts seemed to have settled before he gently brought your hands back down to your sides and looked back up. “I meant the sword but this will do too.” Feeling flustered and embarrassed at your misunderstanding, you tried to pull your hand away from his grasp. His grip on you tightened though it remained gentle. “It was my fault for not elaborating on my actions.” He looked at how your face was dusted with pink across it and decided he liked that too. “I need to get back to patrolling. You should join me.”

  His heart did a little dance when you made no move to protest against his statement. How funny.

Bonus: You were starting to feel a little flustered with the way his gentle grip remained firm. It seemed as if he had no intention of letting go of your hand. Deciding to speak up about it, you tilted your head to the side and tried to casually bring it up. “You seem to have a strong grip.” He did not look back at you, not picking up on your hint, “I’m a Hashira, it’s a given that I have strong grips.” He paused. “I’m not hurting you right?” His eyes shone with concern, an uncommon thing. Your heart softened. “No, it’s fine.

After reading the card, she unwraps the tissue paper to find a handmade plushie, resembling the wolf beastman she adores. The plush was small, holding it in one hand easily. It was well-made, so many little detailed stitched on. His uniform, his ears and tail, even his face, all embroidered with care.

As she was examining the plush, she was surprised to find a small magnet in his hand, silently wondering what it was for.

Little did she know, Jack had gotten a similar plush, created to resemble Kiyuu. There was a magnet in the hand of her plush as well, allowing their two plushes to hold hands when together. There was even a plush of Grim, though it wasn't as well-made as the others, resembling more of a puffball than the tuna loving beast.

Meanwhile, at the abandoned dorm known as Ramshackle in Lydia's world...

Lydia sits on the dirty floor next to Ryuumi, doing her best with the needle in her hand. A laptop sits between them, with a video paused on the screen. The delinquent watches her in a mix of amusement and frustration, doing his best to make sure she doesn't hurt herself.

"Lyds, your hand is shaking. Give me the needle an' I'll finish it up." He says, leaning over and taking it from her hand before she could answer. He starts the video over, holding the fabric close as he squints his eyes.

"At least wear your glasses..." Lydia asks, moving to hand them to him. He immediately shakes his head, pushing her hand away.

"I got this, don't worry! I can see!" He reassures her, his eyes still squinted as he moves the fabric even closer.

He stays this way for a moment, unmoving, before reluctantly mumbling out, "... Give me the glasses." Pouting as his cheeks dusted in pink.

Kiyuu was absolutely OVERJOYED at the very least to have a detailed and adorable plush of both Jack and Grim.

She examined the magnet, trying to figure out what it could be used for (To hang it on the fridge…?? Totally unlikely!!!) when a text message arrived from Jack, mentioning a bag with a Plushie in the likeness of her arriving in front of his dorm room (which he thankfully was able to retrieve first, given how early he wakes up).

Kiyuu immediately ran over to his room, bringing the bag with her. When she arrived, Jack was already gently holding the plush of her in his hand, not knowing what exactly to do with it. She quickly took her own plushie out, excited to talk about Lydia’s handiwork and their matching gifts, when…

Aha.

First off I literally got jumpscared by the bishop appearing out of thin air

that was scary

Omg Fantine’s actress is one of the most gorgeous women to ever grace my eyes and her voice was absolutely magnificent

A few of the songs were cut short (lovely ladies in particular) for obvious reasons

javerts actor kept slipping in and out of a French accent the entire performance which in theory should have been terrible but he was actually very good

Valjeans actor had a bit of a baby face but it was funny to watch his hair get progressively greyer

This Enjolras kinda… *gets spritzed with water yet again*

during the robbery Marius and Cosette just Stare at each other the whole time Valjean is getting swindled

Marius’ actor perfectly embodies what I picture Marius to be like and I love it

shout out to this random barricade boy (no clue who he’s meant to be) who does jazz hands when Marius speaks and just fucking collapses to the ground when he finds out Lamarque is dead

Grantaire drunkly Waves around the flag in red and black and nearly slips over like multiple times

in the final battle once everyone is dead he climbs up and continues waving the flag until he dies I can’t even

The entirety of the finale is absolutely magnificent

the smoke and the lighting and everything AAAAAA

same with empty chairs and empty tables

this entire production actually had SUCH good lighting (that may just be me being a show lighting nerd but we don’t talk about that)

the kid who played Gavroche was literally so small

like he cannot be any older than 7 it’s actually so cute

the actor enunciates every single word differently and will at random aggressively roll his rs

and he’s like this the entirety of the show not just Master of the House cause he’s drunk

They’re just so silly in this one

and to wrap up this dump I will present you with this beautiful scene that literally sends me into cardiac arrest every time I look at it

This production was actually so good especially for a Highschool performance

plus this one was actually properly filmed with like different angles and fades in the clips and such

will most definitely be rewatching this one

Seonghwa

I think Seonghwa would be very surprised by this request, especially if it's from out of nowhere. He's used to spending quiet nights by himself building up his lego sets in peace, so when you come to him with the idea of bringing him along with you to a large party, I feel like he might hesitate at first. However, he does agree to come with you, and it ends up being a party that neither of you forget, enjoying it all so much that you forget that Hwa even hesitated. You’re always seen with one another, laughing, smiling and joking around, and you can see how much Seonghwa is loving it. When he brings you back to your place later in the night/early in the morning, he thanks you for even considering taking him along and tells you that it was one of the best experiences he’s had. After a very very long hug he waves you goodbye, smiling to himself as he’s walking away.

Hongjoong

Hongjoong would be very chaotic i feel, always dragging you around to different parts of the party to try and get you to join in activities. he wants you to enjoy yourself as much as possible and will do what he can to get you laughing.

Yunho

Yunho is such a golden retriever boy oml, radiating good vibes as soon as he steps in to the room, lifting any sorrow.

Yeosang

Yeosang i feel would be the most shocked and he'd probably be shy throughout the night (if he agrees to join you), always giving out his small smiles to people that come to talk to the both of you. after a bit of time at the party is when his full personality comes through, being amused by little things and generally enjoying himself. he'll stay as close as possible to you but if you are doing something he'll look at you fondly, asking how it was when you walk back to him.

San

San would absolutely eat up the chance of being able to go somewhere with you! he wouldn't hesitate to want to go and loves that you asked him. i feel like he'd be very good at making sure that nothing bad happens to you throughout the night and makes sure to check in on how you feel. of course he wants you to enjoy yourself first and foremost, you did invite him to come with you after all.

Mingi

Mingi i feel is the least likely to want to go (99% due to his anxiety:( ), however i feel like he'd make the most of it if he were to go. he wants to make the most out of being out, especially if it's with you. he'll stick close, only really talking to others if you're there. he may need to walk out to take time to himself, you ofc go to check if he's ok and stay with him for as long as is needed.

Wooyoung

Youngie would adore this opportunity, he would jokingly say that he'll be the best baby girl he can be and by the end of the night actually act like one ,not like he already does w/o drinks. he's someone that would share funny stories of you and more than likely babble on about how great you are.

Jongho

Jongho is another one that would love this, but especially if he gets a chance to sing, be it karaoke or following along to a song, you'd probably have so many people asking if he's your partner and how he's so talented.
