#love when the teacher shortage means that I (very illegally!!!) was put completely in charge of the class I'm student teaching today#and I can't report it bc like. who do I report that to. I'm just a student teacher I don't even have an email for this school#and I do like my placement other than the higher ups being kinda shitty. like i love my kids and the content#i just have no idea what even happened this week#like one minute my host teacher is calling me incompetent and the next he gets sick and puts me fully in charge!!!#sure lets give them crippling imposter syndrome then immediately take away their support!!!! I'm sure that'll go well!!!!!#anyway if things don't get better in a few weeks I'm personally fighting someone#ramblies

How to Spot Fake/Joke News Updates:
- if it's tweet, look at the @/username. 90% of the tweets that go around on here that say they're a film updates or news site have a normal user @ thats not associated with the actual site they're pretending to be.
- if it's a screenshot of a news site or other site/account, verify for yourself. (Especially if it's futoncritic, they don't actually delete posts. They just put a strike through and make another post)
- if you can't find a REPUTABLE (major publication or legit database) way to back up (significant) information , it most likely isn't real/true.
#i wont post anything that isnt legit#and if i do post something that im skeptical of#i will make it clear in my post that i am skeptical#if i dont post it#its probably not real#but you can send me an ask if youre not sure and i havent posted it because i do miss things sometimes#anyways between the shit thats happened with fake synopsis and the joke tweets that started over hiatus#i just figured lets make a post now and hopefully that'll help clear some of those up early?

i think its some of damiens responsiblity to think what kinda relationship he cultivaded with his fans. and why is centering his need for explaning, defending and further protecting his self/image is his knee jerk reaction. unless you do those things a social media break is just another way of image management. plus it wont feel better when you come back and you are still centering your image which causes you too act defensive/childish. you cant support things thru acts of fear and nervousness and not expact them to crumble! i know people joked abour his virtue signalling in the past, and they are jokes, but its a curious thing people notice that around him enough to point that out. i hope he can actually look into that part of himself with a more honest critical lense.also these twitch stream where he wants this magicaly ''positive'' enviroment where people can ''escape'' is just unrealistic at best. this is a livestream where people rush on each other to talk to you. its by nature feeding into these things im afraidi positivity is not the warm blanket you think it is, its more of a trap lol

#silm#silmarillion#second age#ar pharazon#reverse gondolin au#(well more like the aftermath of gondolin reversal)#this au has consumed my life#on the plus side inspiration for feanor is finally reemerging from under the metaphorical couch so i might get something finwion-y done soo#aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa so much to draw so little time#seriously though golden nazgul is such a cool idea#whatever the mordor equivalent for the angband trio is (sauron pharazon and shelob maybe?) is going to look so cool in black and gold#black/gold black hole shelob!!#and prince elrond is super finwiony looking#also he has his wings & glowiness out a lot more so that'll be fun#but yeah basically in the au Prince Elrond realized via foresight what was happening/going to happen in numenor#so he went there and disowned ar pharazon (by extension removing him from the throne) and crowned tar miriel rightful Ruling Queen#then later when sauron showed up he came back kicked sauron out and outlawed the death cult#but between that time sauron secretly recruited ar pharazon by promising him kingship in exchange for his support#and anyways ar pharazon survived all the way to the TA as the Witch King#(mr. angmar here gets to be second in command of the nazgul sorry)#-imagine this guy showing up to be all 'bagginssss' though#the witch king of numenor is somehow even more dramatic#also the whole 'no living man can kill me' is. a bit different coming from a guy who has many enemies in the form of#a) his cousin the Ruling Queen of Numenor#b) his uncle the choice-of-elves-peredhel#c) a bunch of Faithful in the Halls#the dead guys aren't too much of a problem#but i wonder if he heard that prophecy and worried a whole lot more about the Ruling Queens#or Prince Elrond who in the au has very definitely embraced his maia-ness#and then imagine his surprise hearing 'but no living man am i' and it coming from. a random human lady.
