AU Headcanons: Bucky and Harper's child (ren)

Lola was such a hardy, easy baby. Like she was the perfect first and had Bucky and Harper thinking they had this parent shit dOWN

Leo rocked the boat though. He ended up arriving early and was a sickly baby/toddler. There were lots of hospital visits and sleepless nights but he grew up healthy and they wouldn’t change a thing about him.

Harper and Bucky would be obsessive parents at first. They’d be so protective and they wouldn’t want either of them to be out of their sight for too long

It’d get more relaxed as time went on but there would always be that protectiveness in the back of both of their minds

They probably followed the school bus to their first trips tbh

Harper would want them to have the childhood she never got. Lots of family days and laughter, no fear and definitely no being scared of talking to each other. They’d be the kids who wanted for nothing but weren’t spoilt.

Lola’s more like Bucky especially with how outgoing she is whereas Leo is more introverted and logical like Harper. She’s definitely a daddy’s girl and he’s a mummy’s boy for sureeeeee

Their looks are more of a mixture, Lola was blonder when she was younger but her hair went darker as she got older…as she gets even older she definitely experiments with the colour. 

Leo would adore his Auntie Shuri and would always be asking questions about her lab. He’d know more about his fathers metal arm than Bucky himself

Lola would be so into the 40s era and it’d be hard for Bucky to talk about but he’d tell her all the stories he could remember. He’d unearth any of his and Steve’s old things for her. She’d have his war medals on her wall above her bed.

Ofc, unfortunately, all of this is definitely AU bc even tho I’m not sure about Super Soldiers fertility I do know that Hydra would take the same route as what Natasha went through and sterilise Harper. So she wouldn’t be able to have kids :(

Also I think Bucky and Harper would have been through too much to even think about bringing children into their lives. They’d be the best Aunt and Uncle ever tho.

What’s it like when a mutual or someone who was a huge part of the fandom becomes an anti? Is it awkward? Is it a sudden moment of realization where you stop giving them the benefit of the doubt or smth expected, like there were several signs and you saw it coming? I don’t mean to be annoying, it’s just bc I heard that an infamous anti was once one of us, and it was really weird, like what?? I’m not sure if I’d be sad, or a bit resentful, perhaps “wtf, you’re not making any sense, love” and if I’m not abusing your kindness, what was it like in the old days compared to nowadays?

Well, if you’re talking about E*mie, she went from being a big part of fandom and making tons of proof posts and timelines proving Larry, to many people recognizing that she was a bully and unfollowing/blocking her, to being pretty obvious that she only cared about Harry and was obsessed with him. Then one day she made a long-winded statement about how she was renouncing her ways and being a Larrie was bad and she deleted everything on her blog that had to do with Louis and Larry. Now she’s a solo harrie.

If you’re talking about S*a, she went from being a big part of fandom and making tons of song analysis posts and absolutely adoring Harry and being certain about Larry, to saying that maybe they’d broken up but still respected and loved each other, to they definitely broke up but still cared about each other, to Harry has been orchestrating his takeover of the music industry since 2013 and is the evil overseer of Louis’ suffering and she deleted everything from her blog pertaining to Harry and Larry. Now she’s a rad louie.

Really, just two sides of the same coin. There’s generally a pattern if you pay attention.

But there are also people who just decide that they’re more interested in one or the other of them, or think they broke up and just become solo stans. It’s sad sometimes, because they were nice to have as mutuals or just because I liked the content they created around Larry, but if you’re not being a dick about Harry or Louis (or Larries), then that’s just the way it goes. No big deal. I still have mutuals who no longer are Larries. But they’re still nice people. Not every former Larrie is an “ex-larrie”.

As for what was it like in “the old days”, I’m assuming you mean in the fandom in general? When the band was active, it was amazing. So much constant content and so much inspiration so there was great art and manips and edits and gifs and videos (RIP FIMQ) and fics all the time. Fandom was united and powerful. There were antis and neutrals, but most of the time we didn’t care much about them because the Larrie fandom was constantly fed. The rainbow bears lit us on fire, concerts were like an online party. We had things like project no control and rainbow direction. It was a lot of fun.

On the negative end, there were definitely cliques who did a lot of gatekeeping, and tons of indirecting posts if someone didn’t ascribe to the current accepted head canon. And always there was homophobia from antis. And there was bullying (a lot of the main nasty people are gone, but there are still a few around). Zayn leaving, babygate, and hiatus were the nails in the coffin. Prior to that, maybe I wasn’t aware of it because I was a new fan, but overall things just seemed fun.

~I am on and off Tumblr because I hit a writer’s blog for fanfiction and a creator’s slump for making things. Slowly, but surely, I am making some progress in things because that’s better than nothing right? However, I was gone for a good portion of this year particularly because of personal issues that I really don’t want to divulge, especially to someone who hides behind an anonymous name. I can choose to disclose this information or not because at the end of the day, it’s MY decision and MINE alone.

~ This is one that I need to crack my knuckles for. Call me a groupie or whatever, I really don’t care. If the “popular people” (as what you call them because I don’t get why this is still an issue...like wtf move on from this stupid topic!) don’t want me...a “groupie”....to associate with them, then they will let me know because we are all adults in this situation and we can talk it out...like...you know...like adults. I don’t know why you are still hung up over calling them “popular people”.

To me, they are just regular, hardworking, wonderful, chaotic, awe-inspiring, goddess-like individuals who happen to accept me for being my chaos walking, WEEEEEEEB, K-pop obsessed, bad guy fangirling to the point that I may need to rethink my life’s decisions, Peter Pettigewing them to the point of interventions, kinda self. We are extremely close and so far, they haven’t gotten tired of my antics....yet (I kid you guys...I kid!) They were there for me at my extreme lowest and that’s something you can’t buy with popularity points: genuine friendship.

I don’t need to name names because they know who they are. To me, they aren’t popular just because they are big names, well known, or whatever it is you deem them popular for. Have you ever tried making a manip image/GIF or tried writing AND updating? It’s fucking difficult, but for these people to churn them out whenever they can, it’s fucking awesome. It’s the things they make and post, AND do for others that warrants well deserved praise. In fact, let’s get rid of that stupid term “popular” because it has brought nothing but drama. They worked hard for their content, so why shouldn’t they be rewarded with some acknowledgment through reviews, likes, reblogs, mentions, etc? In fact, NUMBERS DO NOT DETERMINE YOUR WORTH! WHO CARES HOW MANY FREAKING NOTES ARE ACCUMULATED. IT’S FREAKING RIDICULOUS WHY PEOPLE THINK NUMBERS = POPULARITY. We don’t make ANY money off content (and we definitely shouldn’t because why?????? That’s freaking wrong) and so praises would be nice because it keeps the inspiration train going.

Nice To Meet Ya is out (as foretold, a banger!), the video is out (featuring one model and one hoe; both are Niall, and it's filmed at a place called the Tramp club mhmm I see you Niall) and like that wasn't enough the video has got puzzles and clues! There are a couple of phone numbers in the video- if you call the first one you get through to Niall talking to you about another song on the album, Small Talk (apparently ALSO about being a hoe- NH2 theme??) and a snippet! At the second number he tells us that the video contains four song titles from the album- they are Small Talk, Still, Heartbreak Weather, and No Judgement. More speculative, are there clues showing that the album will be out March 6 2020? The 2020 part is pretty clear and the date fits with what he's saying ("Feb or March") but as for the exact date I guess we'll see. Also- is Heartbreak Weather the Khalid collab? This speculation is based on the title and the rain emojis they used to talk about the collab back when they teased it. The phone numbers used also serve as a data mining thing, so if you call(ed) rather than listening to the recordings online, look for text spam from Niall's label in the future....

NTMY trended, along with the special cute little floating Niall head twitter emoji. Niall headed out with a gang of pals last night and when the song came out they all posted about it and he reposted them, all very cozy. From promo things that have aired so far: he tattooed 'nice to melt meet ya' on Roman Kemp (it's not that bad tbh), said the one line is in French because that way it rhymes and also "is sexier", he's played Liam's clip about him being on the fence all the time in 1D days, is offended and like 'that's not true! Harry followed a set designer who worked on the exhibit he went to yesterday and Sony posted a watermarked manip of him with a puppy. Credit your repost Sony! She’s in like a flashback from 8 months ago

Miss green meets patch at bo’s, he calls her Daubria

“Your kind and my kind don’t mix” she’s an angel and he’s a fallen one, I just know it “it’s not easy getting down here”

Something about the book of Enoch and him wanting to recreate it

He wants a name from her list since she’s a death angel

Daubria says Nora’s name and patch asks who wants to kill her and Daubria says, “you”

So…..if he stops himself….he can get his wings?

She comes back and patch pins her to the bed, pissed

So she has just found out that he wants to kill her, he has her pinned to the bed, and she asks “is Daubria your girlfriend???” Why do you literally care and why do you not have any self-preservation skills

He kisses her?!?!

She bites the shit out of his lip

He did try to kill her on the archangel but couldn’t do it, he was gonna stab her in her house, couldn’t do it

She’s passing out because she needs her iron pills

He calms her down

He lets her touch his scars again so she’ll trust him

Chapter 24

She wakes up next to a skeleton in a graveyard

The Irish guy is talking to patch there

Patch wants to become human, as he heard in the book of Enoch

She comes back

Patch feels through a “sheet of glass” unless he possess a body

Patch is the angel from the prologue I think

“If you can’t feel, why did you kiss me?” “Because I can feel it in my heart”

He fell because he lusted after a human girl

He didn’t know Daubria was still on earth…

She now thinks Daubria is the ski mask person

Chapter 25

Patch goes to get the car and leaves Nora there

They get her home and patch checks the house for her

V doesn’t answer her phone

Daubria is there!!

She says she isn’t the one who has been spying

She planted the idea in V’s mind that patch attacked her

Her birthmark means she’s Chauncey’s descendant, and the book says if patch killed his vassal’s descendant he can be human (according to Daubria)

She goes to kill Nora so she’ll be out of the way

Daubria is v hurt by him falling and “falling” for the human girl

Daubria goes full angel, using tk, glowing, trying to stop Nora

Daubria sets the house on fire

Patch comes back and tells her to drive his Jeep to Delphic

She starts to search for V in the meantime

Chapter 26

She goes to the movies and gets a ticket for the sacrifice, remarking on the irony of the title

V isn’t at the movies

But patch is?!?!

“Shut up or I’ll get security” “yeah, get security, this guy wants to kill me” “I want to kill you”

“I’ll tell you what I’ve done: I’m not good, but I was worse”

He’s now saying she’s worth falling for basically

“I don’t kill people who are important to me, and you top the list”

Patch ripped daubria’s wings off

“Let’s be honest, you got it bad for me, and I’ve got it bad for you.”

“You don’t need me to help you fight her.” “What do I need you for?” “We have unfinished business”

They making OUT in this theater bathroom

Her phone rings, V and the guys broke into school, and Elliott says “Nora come play or there’s a tree in the courtyard with V’s name on it”

Listen. To. Me. If these two plots have nothing to do with each other, I am going to rip my hair out. These could have been 2 different books.

Chapter 27

She tells patch about the article

Patch says he doesn’t remember Jules being at the arcade…

Jules is an angel I bet

The jeeps tires are slashed so they pay an employee to take his car

He tells Nora to stay in the car

Chapter 28

Elliott calls Nora and says he’s watching her

Nora GETS OUT OF THE CAAAAAAR

AND GOES INTO THE SCHOOL NORA HE TOLD YOU NOT TO FUCKING GET OUT

Nora tripped over Jules’ dead body…

Elliott is in the library, basically dead…

The lights keep going on and off…

She stabs him, but bumps a table as she tries to escape…

He passes out

She finds V in the e-zine lab

All the doors are chained…

She ends up trapped in the gym

Jules has a gun!!!!

He beat up Marcy because he didn’t want anyone messing with “his girl”

Patch finds them, Jules holds her at gun point, patch possesses Nora to beat the SHIT out of Jules

He couldn’t stay long enough to kill Jules, and the effort made him pass out

She climbs up the air shaft despite being afraid of heights and Jules is fucking with her, making her think she’s falling

Patch helps her anchor to reality

They’re both on the rafters

She realizes if she sacrifices herself, patch can be human

She throws herself off the rafter

Chapter 30

She hears a clock and wings, but then she slides backwards instead

She wakes up in her bedroom, with patch

Patch turned down her sacrifice so she could live

“What good is a body if I can’t have you?”

He’s a guardian angel because he saved her

V and Elliott are fine

The police think Jules killed himself

V says “shoe-shopping therapy” instead of retail therapy why

The book ends with patch coming back to give her a kiss...boring

There’s an exchange that’s the last sentence of the book where he pulls away and she’s like “more” “more?” “more”

What's the Haiti fic?

GOOD LORD THE HAITI FIC. THE WORST EXAMPLE OF ‘HOW TO NOT DO SHIT’ that ever happened in a fandom I followed.

right, k, buckle up.

spn fandom had a bunch of events (prob. still has idk I’m not up to date). the most known/famous was the spnj2bigbang in which you had to write a 20k+ fic for either any supernatural ship (or even gen) or for jared/jensen as a main ship. then you’d send the summary in, an artist would claim it, they’d draw art for it and you’d post both at the same time like two months later or smth.

it was the year of the lord 2010 and idk how the fuck it happened but someone managed to write a 20k+ long fic where j&j were… a doctor and a photographer going to haiti in the aftermath of the earthquake that had happened like two months before the drafts deadline - the deadline was always may 1st, the earthquake was like in march. and this fic was… let’s just say, you know when people end up writing stuff that’s… really stereotypically racist because they don’t know it’s actually racist and it ends up being cringy af in the best case and absolutely out of taste in the worst? yeah, that. I mean, like, the two white guys were at the center always, the haitian characters were all stereotypes and in the end they named their cat like the black haitian dude who was a nurse on the island or smth. anyway. bad stuff. this person wrote like 30k of it, had four betas none of which told them it was not a smart idea but whatever. they put the summary online, an artist who also apparently had no idea it was in extreme poor taste claims it and since they were mostly someone who did manips………. did art by basically pasting j&j over pictures of real dead people during the earthquake. YEAH I KNOW.

so, while no one realized this entire thing was absolutely a Bad Idea, they do their thing and the fic goes up. of course at that point people at large read it and went wtf and there was a longass discussion on the aforementione spnanonmeme which… let’s say that the anon meme was mostly shit and I hated it and the fact that most ppl on it were on there for a chance to be mean to others (and SOMEONE on it really hated me idk why but whatever) but in that circumstance most of them were objectively right like that damned fic was out of the world for how tasteless it was also SRSLY DON’T USE REAL DEAD PEOPLE FOR YOUR SLASH FIC ART GDI XD so obviously the author took it down after a few days but there also was a vicious backslash that I didn’t necessarily agree with, I mean the person was obv. ignorant as hell but in…. sort of good faith I mean she honestly didn’t realize WHY it was a bad idea which I mean….. teach them to check their privilege and shit don’t go bombard them with YOU’RE RACIST hate bc that doesn’t work, and it spawned an entire discussion in fandom about people exploiting black characters for their white faves and so on and I think they brought up fic that actually explored the topic well (I think they brought up this gen kill fic about timor east which was actually excellently researched and very tastefully written) as example of ‘you can write fic about real tragedies but good lord do it well’, but yeah that was the haiti fic. god that fandom. it was a wild ride. of the bad kind. *shrug*

I think it’s very telling about Danielle as a person that no one she's worked with has a bad thing to say about her. They only praise her, which is what we should be doing for this lovely person (or at the very least, not sending her the incredibly hurtful words to her and just leave her alone) instead of throwing hate and shade to her for things that you don’t like about her or situations that you’re trying to blow of proportion. So what? She was holding hands with her friends on New Year’s? I’ve never been drunk before or been to a NYE’s party because that’s just not my style, but I’ve seen plenty of friends holding hands, on NYE and not just that day but like I see friends holding hands a lot.... It honestly doesn’t seem weird to me. If you come at me with that manip of her and Gregg instead of showing ALL of the four friends holding hands, that won’t prove anything to me because one of you Larries decided to make Danielle cheating with Gregg a narrative. That video of her that you Larries are trying to accuse her of cheating with two of her friends, Aubrey and Savannah, doesn’t ever appear like they are kissing. The video ends before anyone can see what happens.  Oh and... Larries, explain to me this, if Danielle and Louis aren’t actually a couple and he’s a gay man and she’s his beard, then what you lot are calling cheating wouldn’t even be considered cheating in the first place.... Like wtf is your logic with this? Can you all even keep up with your own ridiculous theories anymore? 

Danielle Campbell’s dating Louis Tomlinson and has been for a little over a year now. I’m sorry if that doesn’t fit your Larry narrative, but get over it and quit sending a really nice person, who’s not done anything wrong to deserve this terrible harassment and hate. She’s not some emotionless robot, She can see the comments that you post and tag her in just like anyone else and honestly I would have disabled all the comments a long time ago instead of just the four pictures she did if I were in her shoes. I’d imagine it’s affecting her and that’s not right. I don’t normally post things like this this personally, I usually like or reblog stuff... I didn’t think you Larry Stylinson believers could get any worse with your theories and just general awfulness, you do seem to think that an almost one year old kid is a doll or a child actor, but the hate since NYE is absolutely ludicrous. 

Now I haven’t looked around yet to see if she’s receiving any hate because of returning to the United States after an extended time in England, but if y’all hate on her because she’s back.... why? She’s an American citizen and now that she’s not filming in Atlanta with The Originals anymore, I believe her mainstay is Los Angeles instead of her hometown of Chicago. It doesn’t mean they broke up. It could mean something like she wants to spend time with her friends in Los Angeles, like Carina, who she hasn’t seen in awhile because of being in the U.K. or .... hey Idk the girl’s a kickass actress, maybe she’s got some work or auditions lined up and she needs to be in Los Angeles for work. Just because she’s back in the United States doesn’t mean that she and Louis broke up, it could mean a number of things and no one but those like her family and friends and such honestly need to know. 

Stop the hate against Danielle Campbell because of her dating Louis Tomlinson. She’s not a beard. Louis and Harry aren’t dating and Louis’ stated that he is straight before, so your little couple will never be a legitimate thing. Get over yourselves.
