very sorry for the person i may or may not become when ivypool starts doing her thing in avos. *is incapable of being unbiased about her and dovewing's relationship*
#i always like to be charitable even to characters i dont like bc i dont want to imply shes bad#ok well i think shes poorly written in avos thats just how i see it. and a bad person.#but i dont want to imply people suck for liking her or imply ''if you relate to her thats a red flag''#because most fans dont actually read these books and probably do have the wrong perception#that ivy is dove's victim and she deserves to have a cathartic ''put her in her place'' moment#bc the fandom has convinced itself that dovepaw was a stupid airhead diva that bullied her sister#when thats not actually true at all and the one time she DID snap was bc ivypaw was being nasty to her#to copy one of brambleclawdisliker's tags i think? dovepaw put a thorn in ivy's nest after she got out to explain her scratches#to hide that she was training in the dark forest which could lead to her exile so she could solve it herself.#ivy would not do the same for dove in a million years based on her own actions.#anyways i think its odd how people think dove snapping at ivy once warrants all this behavior#and that ivy deserves a cathartic moment where she puts dove in her place#when that snap was only bc ivy was treating her poorly and provoking her for things out of her control#so ivy telling her to get with her toxic ex is ok and ivy almost getting twig killed is ok#all while not once considering how dove feels and getting shocked when surprise! dove cracks and runs away
