the shot composition here was kinda odd (with the camera being outside the cabin window and looking inwards) and with how ash is framed by the window, so i thought maybe there’s be something to be interpreted about the composition but i can’t actually think of anything. besides maybe the fact that he’s framed by the window panes, which could be seen as something about how serena (and the others) tends to idealize him…?

#also it only just now clicked that the parallels between this summer camp & the backstory summer camp is that serena helped ash out when he #got hurt which is the reversal of how he helped her when they were younger #i guess you could also say that her starting to figure out her dream at this summer camp is also a parallel since it was returning #that bandana (?) to ash that was the inciting action for her journey #pokémon #pokéani #x&y #xy039 #fiftytenpost #xy liveblog 23
