"Floyd... turned Azul... into a marketable plushie." She finishes, holding him out for Shuu to see:

"I know this must seem crazy, but! Professor Crewel said that... true love's kiss... might break the spell." Lydia finishes awkwardly, feeling bad for putting Shuu in this position. She knew that while they weren't a couple, there was something between them, hidden feelings that were more than platonic.

She could only hope that Azul would forgive her for this, having offered to take him to Shuu in Floyd's place.

Here's some more Jamil thoughts for you!

Something I don't see a lot of people talk about when it comes to Jamil is the idea of family recipes, more specifically, recipes that only the Viper Family know.

Food that he and Najma grew up having, learning the recipes for himself once he was older. Recipes that have been passed down in the Viper Family for generations.

I would like to imagine he wouldn't make them for Kalim, or even let him know about them, wanting to keep these foods and recipes for himself.

As he gets to know you, his feelings growing and turning to something more, he thinks of these recipes, wanting to share these foods with you.

Foods to be made and had with family. For loved ones.

As much as he tried to deny it, to fight it, he grew attached to you. Not just attached, oh no, he knew in the back of his mind what this was. He wouldn't admit it though, even when he ends up making one of the recipes for himself, wondering if you'd enjoy it as he ate.

It wouldn't be until you two were a couple that it would happen, Jamil offering to make you dinner one day. Perhaps you arrive early, and he asks if you'd like to help him prepare it. (The intimacy of cooking together, Jamil instructing you on a recipe that only he and his family members know) Once it was done and served, you both would sit down to eat, Jamil waiting for you to have the first bite.

Any compliment you give it will have a sense of pride bursting in his chest, a small smile coming to his face. He's radiating with satisfaction as you both enjoy your meal, promising to cook for you again some other time. He already has the next recipe in mind ♡

(It's up to you whether Yuusha knows the importance of the meal, as I can see Jamil either trying to be subtle and downplay it, or him simply saying it's a family recipe and having you figure out the significance of that on your own)

Partly, yes. Price has been keeping her in the dark about The Capitol being upset with Reader & König in general. She’s entirely oblivious to them being in danger overall, and he knows she will worry herself to the point it might become its own separate issue. Price has that habit of carrying the burden and only handing them out when it is absolutely necessary.

Mostly, though, it’s because Price couldn’t bring himself to admit his own failure to her. I cannot emphasize just how churned up Price is over not being able to get the kids out of it. This is a man who volunteered his own life to protect the love of his life, and he failed. And in his eyes, even after everything he has done to ensure König & Reader’s safety, he failed them, too. Just like he failed every tribute he’s had in the last twenty years.

He can’t block it out or down play it - because he knows what they’re going through.

Price knows he should have told Ruby so that she could act sensitively around the kids, but he couldn’t bring himself to do it, so he lied. He could hardly work up the nerve to tell König and Reader - and since Ruby didn’t really need to know unlike the kids, he couldn’t bring himself to get the words out.

He assumed Reader would explode on Ruby and she’d find out that way instead, but she didn’t (preoccupied with getting felt up & stressing about their crimes) That should have been his first clue that something was amiss, but he was too busy choking on his own guilt and couldn’t even look them in the eye.

1. no, there are no plans of a second season. they haven't mentioned it once, the novel doesn't have a sequel to adapt from, bls generally very rarely get second seasons, and importantly this one season was hard as hell on everyone involved, both in making and in the follow up events from different sources

they were hoping to make a spin-off about Jinbao and Siming (there is a whole novel about them), but with the low popularity of the show it doesn't seem to be a thing that will happen now, because it won't be a financial success

2. it's my favourite bl that i have ever watched!! Love for Love's Sake goes very very closely after it though, but it's korean

experiencing it was exquisite, even considering all obstacles that stopped me from enjoy it in full. it was a gift through and through. i asked for crumbs and they gave me a cocktail of all my favourite tropes wonderfully executed. while explicitly fully gay

objectively speaking MYATB wasn't the best at many aspects and qualities. but it was the best for me. it was perfect for me

honestly all chinese bls are my favourite. they are all very special and i hyperfixated on every chinese bl that i watched. somehow from all countries' bls China builds the strongest emotions, causes me the most devastation and following satisfaction, writes the deepest characters, assembles the most of world building. i really love them all. but Meet You At The Blossom is special so i love and treasure it the most
