Ah, this Ari is a very wicked man, so for a while you're still his assistant, while at the same time he's moving you to his place and making it obvious he's got permanent plans for you. But Ari would say you still working for him is because he doesn't mind you having a job, especially since you're really competent at doing it 😎

And he always takes you to his important meetings - he likes having you beside him ready to use whenever he wishes and likes to show you off, as well yes, it implies he doesn't mind fucking you in front of the others again

A giddy, mischievous giggle leaves you.

“Comfy clothes on the bed,” He adds.

You give a soft little whine, because it’s just too sickeningly sweet how he dotes on you.

After changed and settled, he’ll serve you your plate, listening intently as you vent about all the little things that have been bothering you lately.

“And, I don’t know. I know I shouldn’t feel this way, but I can’t-”

You sigh before continuing, “Sometimes I have this stupid voice in my brain, and it just tells me that you don’t actually like me, and I’m just not good enough for you. I know it’s not true, but it still gets to me, sometimes. Y’know?”

You look at him, faced pinched and a hand rubbing the back of your neck.

“I have the same stupid voice,” He says, those hooded blue eyes trained carefully in you, “But know little one, I love you more than anything.”

You pinch your nose at him, but you still have to fold your smile, cheeks warm and bunched.

“I love you more than anything, too,” You say sheepishly to your plate, tone soft as your fork absentmindedly plays with your food.

Once tummies are full and plates cleared away, König herds you to the couch, draping you with a cozy blanket. He fixes you a tea before joining you, happily letting you rest your head on his thigh. He’ll tolerate your silly little comfort movie without complaint, stroking your hair, playing with the soft locks. He doesn’t dare move after you ensnare him by falling asleep, snoring softly into his leg long after your half-drunk tea has gone cold. ♡

Absolutely love the direction Massive Monster took with the bishops this update, ESPECIALLY Shamura, they’re SO similar to the Norse god Odin (also a god of wisdom) like they both are presidents of the club of ‘fucked around and found out and made it everyone else’s problem’

Like, what an insane mad scientist archetype they are, encouraging Narinder to destroy the laws of nature because they were oh so curious as to what would happen too, and what happened was bad trouble on the horizon and family drama out the whazoo, like most real world mythologies you read about. Idk I just love how connected this game feels to real life mythologies, with a good dose of cosmic horror beyond our comprehensions to taste. It’s like kid me and adult me boiled our interests and collective religious trauma together and Cult of the Lamb got spat out, this game is so perfectly tailored to my little gremlin brain.

Routine settled anxiety.

Well, repeated routine, that fooled you into thinking you were safe with the very unsafe people just because they haven't hurt you in the past weeks.

Even his intimidating figure wasn't evoking that numbing fear anymore. Quite the contrary, there was more excitement at his presence.

Your heart still leapt to your throat whenever his silhouette appeared in the doorway of your bedroom, but by now you knew that he'd only drop off something to mend, or clean. Or to simply say a word, or two.

The house you lived in by yourself, since your grandfather passed, turned out to be the perfect safehouse for former heroes turned fugitives.

They claimed to be helping around the world however they could, but their methods were less gentle or diplomatic than they used to be.

You weren't allowed outside the house anymore, to ensure you wouldn't expose them. Cooking, cleaning and caring for more than one person has taken most of your daily time.

And since they kept mostly to themselves, you became hungry for any words exchanged with you. Even if it was only a compliment on your cooking, or a short "Got that for you" when Captain Rogers slid a small package your way after coming back from who knows where in the world.

So whenever he entered your bedroom (any room you were in, honestly), your eagerness for human contact overrode trepidation he evoked as well.

The rest of the team disappeared earlier that day, leaving you with Captain Rogers alone. Though he spent the day making short calls and gritting his teeth whenever his gaze landed on you.

It was late evening when a flash of car lights announced someone's arrival. Few minutes later your bedroom door creaked and Captain Rogers walked in.

Not alone.

Another figure followed. As tall, but leaner. Where Steve had a beard and soft, blonde hair, that man's hair was dark and shaved at the sides. And he had a mustache.

Captain Rogers stood over you as you sat on your bed, your fingers trembling as you awaited for a task to be given to focus on, so the growing tension wouldn't make you whimper and cry.

His hand sneaked beneath your chin, cupping it almost gently as he forced your head up.

"I'll be here the whole time, to make sure he doesn't hurt you." He announced and your eyes prickled with tears. "And I'll take you first. Ease you in."

oh this is a tricky question for me to answer, as the nettle...im not rly keeping track of the metrics or popularity polls. but if i had to guess, based on what girlies n such like lately:
