     This will be the last music post for a while, dear listener, so as always smash play and enjoy! Sad to say, I have virtually nothing to report about this group, and we’re talking about an act that’s WAY underground. Pooma is from Finland, they’ve got a grand total of one full length album and a few EPs. They do a shoegaze-y, trip-hop chillout sound that I can definitely dig in small doses. You want a band history? Here goes; band makes interesting music in the early 2000’s and gets signed to label, label shortly thereafter goes broke, band goes right back to having no promotion/worldly exposure. End of history. I hate it when that happens, but I love featuring talented artists that never got a fair shot at the success they probably deserved. They haven’t updated their Facebook or Twitter page since 2018, so I think it’s safe to assume they’re one of those rare and talented groups that blinked out of existence before they produced their magnum opus. This is Snow from their 2007 album Persuader. Full album here if you care to dabble in something a little more ambient and Nordic than you’re used to. That’s about all I’ve got to say! I’ll be back in March with more tunes because 2022 was my most successful year for audio postings thus far. Folks, always look for the rare musical gems, because that’s where the magic is in the industry, and try your best to tune out what the mega-corporations and Top-40’s recommend for you.
