reader lives alone on her apartment so she's always spending her free time doing the things that makes her happy. she rlly enjoys having these self-healing times but still feels kinda lonely sometimes, that's when she ends up falling asleep cuddling her GIANT teddy bear she got on one of that big claw machines. only when she feels lonely, she tells herself. she is good on her own... but who is she lying to? she hugs that bear so tightly every single night, that's her best friend. she didn't got close to anybody at college and the routine is tough, that fluffy bear is the only one that always hear the feelings she holds deep down her heart and she feels comforted by that she even named him and takes it all around the house, when she's watching movies, cooking and baking or just being. one night she got so worked up after watching a romance movie with unexpected hot scenes that she just couldn't sleep thinking about it. suddenly she felt her body heat up while still holding tight to her bear cause she thought hugging him again would help her sleep faster even tho it didn't. instead, she started slowing grinding on it searching for some kind of relief. when she realized she was whimpering against the bear's soft cheeks and couldn't stop riding it so she started crying she felt so needy, sad and hopeless at the same time. she felt asleep bc of all the crying and her heart breaking she just wished her teddy bear could hug her back and take care of her.

deep in her sleep she felt a really soft touch, caressing her thighs, her waist and then hear face. she tought it was a dream, but when she felt a small kiss on her cheek she woke up to the sight of the prettiest guy she's ever seen and he was smiling so prettily and sweet but still he was a stranger, obviously she would scream. her high pitched scream almost broke the cute boy's heart. why was she screaming like this after telling him i love you every night. he was teary-eyed.

"WHO TF ARE YOU? HOW DID YOU GOT IN MY ROOM YOU PERV?" she was freaking out, who wouldn't though? she was so disturbed by the vision of a unknown -tall as hell- man IN HER BED wearing fcking bear pajamas. who is tryna prank her?

thank u for asking omg !!!! i have 3 worldstates loosely planned out which is a Lot for me since i have a tendency to get deeply (perhaps pathologically) attached to one worldstate and one pc lol. but im being brave abt it !

worldstate 1 is my canon worldstate, and the overarching theme for it is self-mythology/loss of personhood. i wont go into detail since i yap enough abt them already lol but i have elspeth (warrior f!cousland romancing alistair) cillian (a rogue m!hawke romancing anders) and ashara (a mage f!lavellan romancing/redeeming solas) all going into datv head first. my canon datv pc will likely be an elven archer f!rook romancing either davrin or taash hehe <3

second worldstate is all mages and obv thats the main theme i wanna have fun with

lucander amell (he/him, blood mage and spirit healer, romances morrigan) unassuming, distant, and polite and also kind of unnerving. used to being seen as a bad guy and is willing to act accordingly, but otherwise is a pretty decent, honorable man. does morrigan's ritual, kills the archdemon, leaves alistair a grey warden. doesn't become warden commander in awakening bc he goes into hiding from the wardens before they can ask too many questions abt the ritual and why hes still alive. he tracks down morrigan in the hopes of protecting her, and then stays with her and their son after that.

cecilia hawke (she/her, spirit healer mage, romances fenris) a blue!hawke who's sweet and motherly and soft spoken and has an enormous guilt complex/self hate for being a mage lol. carver joins the templars, and she later sides with them in act 3 and kills anders which </3 anyways. she survives here lies the abyss in dai and hopefully goes on to attend biweekly couples therapy with fenris <3

thomasin trevelyan (SOFTEST of launches on that name) (she/her, knight enchanter mage, romances cullen. maybe.) socially adept, politically cunning, with a love for the game and a desire to regain her place within the trevelyan family nobility. sides with the mages, doesn't drink from the well, negotiates a truce between celene/gaspard/briala, pardons the wardens, redeems solas, disbands the inquisition post trespasser. shes a good girl and she's got her head on straight!

might do a qunari f!rook mage to romance taash or davrin for datv! we'll see !

lastly my third worldstate places value on the eluvians so its very elfy or at least elf-adjacent. and also the lineage of ameridan > garahel > maherial and so on. i just think its neat . still VERY much underdeveloped tho so no names yet

Hi!! Question as someone interested in one day making art comics (yours are so wonderful!) do you have any tips // what’s your process like? Thank you so much for reading!

Oh lord Syggy I don’t really have a process that’s much different from my art!! But I’ll try my best to walk through it

I just have an idea and I kinda just get a basic sketch out and line it (but my lineart is really just a sketch, a lot of just, refining ! I use the lead pencil brush with no anti-aliasing on medibang).

I always start with a 1000 wide by 2000 height,, and I adjust as the comic idea gets longer (this next example had to be adjusted to 6000 height). But I draw small is the thing! And I do end up having to adjust with lasso, move things around to fit text boxes in. I usually don’t account for those, but where I didn’t know the exact dialogue I wanted for this one and just had the action blocking , I went ahead and blocked out the speech bubbles :)👍🏽

And wrt to the speech bubbles, for Stuco, I use the actual text tool because I really write like chickenscratch haha but for smaller comics where I feel like writing out dialogue, I write it out, do a manual lead pencil bubble, and then I copy the layer to make it look thicker

and using this old one as an example uhhh my coloring process is kinda just regular as well! Or maybe it is to me idk I just color stuff in, do a layer for shading (chiaroscuro is my style, but I’m not the best at it). I use a clipping layer on the color layer to shade and then I use a clipping layer to shade lineart, the panels, and the speech bubbles accordingly.

a lot of times I also like to do my lighting with just some quick lines and then I copy the layer, blur it, then copy that and make it an add layer!

my final process is going to PicsArt and using the film 3 FX and adjusting so that it’s not too blurry not too noisy but I like the coloring on it :3

Lately I’ve been using the vinyl filter on top of it and oooohohohoh I kinda like the way the blurring goes horizontal and everything hehehe

I know this probably made next to no sense X’D

I will say also that sometimes for the Stuco comic I do have to sketch things out on paper because I there’s times I get frustrated digitally lmaooo

i'm rlly self-conscious about how i write character thoughts and feelings too!! i feel like i can be a bit heavy-handed with it sometimes and ppl might not like it!! esp when i try to interject it between dialogue, the conversation can get rlly lost in it all (but i also rlly love emphasizing feelings shdbgshdbjh)

What do you think Siegbert’s relationship with Laslow and Soleil’s relationship with Xander are like particularly as they get older/teenagers.

anon you're enabling me i LOVE their parent/child relationships as they get older!!! read more cause this got looooong

for laslow and siegbert--well first off, i think laslow always can provide a particular brand of emotionally-based support that develops more as siegbert gets older. siegbert has his Anxiety Issues, and where laslow and xander both struggle w sociality as well, i think laslow can relate in a more... empathetic way? dealing with some of the emotional aftermath and letting feelings be feelings (this isn't to say siegbert doesn't go to xander or that xander doesn't help, i just think they're good at different things). on a more lighthearted note, i think laslow's really good at getting a giggle out of siegbert, and good at finding ways to alleviate pressure. he's been doing this for years with xander. and yes, xander and siegbert need different things, but laslow's good at pinpointing those things

something i rly like abt their relationship is that i think that where siegbert more openly shows his idolization of xander (like we see in-game), he still does something really similar with laslow. looking up to him, taking inspiration from him. it just comes out in different ways. for example, siegbert probably trusts laslow's opinions... a lot. considers his sometimes more than his own. and he's just fascinated by the stories he tells. even after laslow's married to xander, i like to think he still travels (and drags xander with him as often as he can--and also drags their kids along as often as he can hahaha), and those stories in particular really entrap siegbert. which is good for a budding prince, i think something laslow (and eventually siegbert and soleil) has that xander lacks is some open mindedness, and not being so narrowly nohr-centric in his perspective--esp in upbringing, if that makes sense. this is also why i like laslow taking xander traveling, cause ultimately i think it would do him good.

ONTO!!! soleil and xander!! ive mentioned before how much i like the grumpy-dad and peppy-daughter dynamic, but. to reiterate: i really really like it gjsjfjsnf soleil, similarly to laslow but probably even more, tends to go to xander and ramble about her girl successes and failures. just barging into his office like i hope you're not busy cause i have things to SAY!! and i don't think xander dismisses her, but he does make her wait sometimes, hahaha. i also think xander will often tell soleil what she needs to hear, rather than what she wants, and ultimately for her that's better than the alternative. he's not entirely harsh (though he can be and that's something to work on), but honest. he also dotes on her more than he should by a xander-standard LOL

i think soleil provides to xander a lot of brightness--it is NOT lost on me that they named her soleil, sun, in a place like nohr. i think surrounding xander with bright people is a fantastic idea. and just like laslow's doing with the traveling thing, soleil probably gets xander to socialize a little more, haha. he isn't a brick wall that can't talk to anybody, but--he does strike me as the kind of guy who has coworkers, but not friends, ya feel me. soleil's confident and full of energy, and tbh i think she's the type to really want attention from her parents, so asking xander to come along with her is a frequent request. and that eventually, naturally, leads to xander getting out more. she doesn't have the same setback as laslow that if he gets shy enough he'll retreat entirely while they're out, hahaha

and one final note to round this off: i like to think!! that xander and soleil are both cat people (xander = cabbit, and soleil has lines about owning kitten posters), where laslow and siegbert are dog people (i have many aus where laslow has a pet dog so this is more of a 'because i said so' kinda thing) (also you might be inclined to think cat for siegbert also but i need you to look inward. deeper. i think he'd like the enthusiasm...!!! i have more i could say but i'll leave it at that)

this is gonna be a lot of disjointed thoughts, strap in and I apologize in advance

First off Aminata was born on 46 BBY on Arreyel, an Inner Rim planet that is a source of multiple ancient Force pools (which is where both Clarmonte children got their powers from). Arreyel itself is a planet that favors science over the arts, hence, they are focused on the technological advancement of their society.

Aminata's parents were Dalen and Mirana, a very well known diplomat pair of high status who were more concerned with creating a legacy than being actual loving parents, rip <3333 She was taken to the Jedi temple when she was 4, and this devastated the pair, which made them not wanting to give up little Sarai years later

Anyway, lil Mina was a very shy and polite kid who wouldn't step out of her place and would choose resolving the situation with her words rather than her actions. This is one of the many reasons Mace chose her as his next Padawan once her trials were done. Because of that, Mina became very close to Depa (and later on, Kanan) who was like the older sister she never had (and taught her how to fight with her fists when needed)

Aminata's first mission as a Padawan was Qui-Gon's funeral, which is where she first met Anakin (and Obi-Wan, in a sense). They became quick friends because both of them were with similar personalities at the time (thrown into the grownup world a little too soon).

Aminata was also friends with Seline F'arah (padawan of Shaak-Ti <333) and Aayla, they had this little friend circle into which Anakin was brought in as well. If anyone tried to mess with him within their earshot, they'd give them a yelling of the lifetime

Her loss of innocence as a person was when she was 16. Some bounty hunters kidnapped her off-world and threw her into a fighting arena. It ended up being a bloodbath, Mace found her sitting in one of the ship's hallways, lightsaber trembling in her hands. This also fueled her...... Dislike of men which made her notorious as she became a Jedi Knight

Anyway, when she turned 18, she got into a relationship with a Twi'lek archeologist from the Order, Rachi Sitra, who also introduced her to her current iconic look, red lips and white hair <3333 their time together as a couple was very sweet and passionate, but they broke it off as their duties kept them separated most of the time

Mina became a Knight at 20, which was a big boost in self-confidence. She knew she was good at her job, so she wouldn't be shy about it. But being in Mace's vicinity also kept her self-aware, so she wouldn't overstep her boundaries. Also fun fact, she trained extensively in diplomacy so she could be sent to the Senate to deal with the problems there

Because she was close friends with Anakin, Obi-Wan did not like her at the start. At all. He thought she was too much of a bad influence with her critical opinions and loud voice, she thought he was too rigid and a big know-it-all.

They started to hate each other less in the aftermath of Geonosis. Obi-Wan heard that she stayed behind with Mace to help account for all of the bodies of the dead Jedi and clones, and decided to give her a second chance. Mina was too tired to be mean to him

The relationship dynamics shifted during the war. Aminata, Seline, Anakin, Ahsoka, and Obi-Wan became a very famous unit because of how well they worked together. Furthermore, she helped Anakin raise and train Ahsoka when the other two weren't around.

Also, when the war started, with Mace's blessing, she moved her family (with little 4-year-old Sarai) out of Arreyel to a safe undisclosed location. Because of her home planet becoming a Separatist ally, she heard a lot of accusations in the Senate.

Because of her achievements in the war with the 307th battalion (aka Shield), she became a Jedi Master at 25, with Aayla. This was a big achievement for them both (even though some said they didn't deserve it because they didn't have any padawans)

At some point after Mortis and the Zygerria incident, Seline became interested in Nightsister magic, which led her to Maul and the Dark Side. She joined him due to the fact that she became disillusioned with the Order as the war dragged on. Her fall was very painful bc Mina felt everything that she experienced due to their link (on a smaller scale tho). The first meeting with Maul was deadly bc he ambushed Mina in an abandoned ship. They both wounded each other rather badly, but Mina was left to bleed out. She managed to send out a signal to Zuru, but she ended up in a week-long coma in a bacta tank

Also, speaking of the 307th, it gained notoriety for undertaking the riskiest missions that demanded a protection detail. Because of this, and the fact that they received prototypical, state-of-the-art shields that helped them develop their famous shield tactics, they were all named the Shield team. Mina was known as the Shield of the Jedi Order. The 307th was lead by Captain Zuru (a serious man with a soft heart and a killer mohawk) and Lieutenant Mar'o (who would not hesitate to throw hands verbally and physically if someone dared to speak shit about his brothers or his Generals). Other members include Data (tech), Nomad (sniper), Locket (heavy gunner), Drummer (pilot), Tuxx (medic). Zuru at one point had feelings towards Mina, Mar'o had the confidence to be a lil more physical with her (with her consent. it was all fun and laughs for them both)

She doesn't know when she started catching feelings for Obi-Wan, but she does realize she's in deep hell when he tells her he knows right after the meeting with Satine. He also says he feels the same for her.

They both retained a professional relationship and a close friendship on the surface, only becoming a couple when they were fully sure nobody was looking (Zuru and Cody knew for their own sanity).

They also almost broke up after the entire incident with Rako Hardeen because boy was she enraged. She was mad. They worked through it, though.

I'm gonna quickly skip past the war and the imperial era bc there's too much lore for one post but I do wanna say that Seline killed her as part of Maul's plan to ruin Obi-Wan's life. So basically, Obi-Wan is the reason she ended up dead <3333

Final fun fact! She's trained in Form VII, Vaapad. This is bc she carried a lot of negative feelings inside, which needed to be worked with. Her field of expertise is creating Force barriers, which is what she became famous for during the war.
