Ideas/concepts Tgamm crew had planned for a third season post:
-Robe Knows Best- An arc about Ollie was planned on becoming the new chairman of the Ghost World, because he has to turn into wraith to do his duty, he begins to forget who he is over time like Scratch did as wraith.- this seems to foreshadow how Scratch was a wraith even more
-She loves me, she loves me bot: An episode of Andrea and Alina (the girl she likes) meeting in a robot convetion and working out their feelings for each other.
-Dead and Breakfast: The Mcgees staying at Geoff and Jeff's B&B (kinda like an hotel).
-Forever Home: An episode about Patty's death
-The Writer of Knell- An episode about Libby having writer's block
-Saving Purim: An episode about Purim, a jewish celebration
-Taking a Band Stand: An episode about ¨a revolt against the recorder¨
-Teaching Mr.Pham: An episode about Molly helping teacher Pham to rekindle his love for teaching, Source: https://twitter.com/SammieCrowley/status/1746593483320914089 https://twitter.com/BrandonHoang_/status/1746588872870641831

After Soda and Mind, I'm starting to see the concept of Corrupted Scratch differently
Now that he has more friends, I imagine he'll be more protective of them. Maybe a little too much.
The two words he'd wanted her to say on the first day they met twisted like a knife in his non existent heart and snapped him out of his mindless rampage. And suddenly, he was more afraid than she was
Line art and coloring by @gaygoatuser, I didn't even ask for him to do this but DAMN he delivered, all I provided was the sketch
He completely knocked it out of the park PLEASE go check his art out he's so talented <3

A dialogue snippet that turned into this:
Standoff (TGAMM Oneshot: Spoilers for season 2)
Summary: Half-feral, trapped in a snare barely big enough for his fluctuating form and Oliver Chen's gun trained directly at his head, Scratch is out of options.
So why isn't Ollie taking the shot?
Intrinsically, Scratch was a pretty simple, lazy guy. He liked an easy routine, a familiar path. The hardest work he did most days was figuring out how to avoid hard work. He didnât have the patience for strategy (why, when cheating was faster and easier?) and trying to think in multiple directions at once just sapped his strength and made his head hurt. All that variety, all that junk humans did to âbetter their mindâ was just so hard.
Astonishingly, it was made ten times harder when he was near bursting out of a containment unit, a wide barreled gun trained directly between his eyes.
He couldnât even pinpoint where everything had gone wrong, too much focus funneled into clamping down on a base instinct: trapped in a snare barely large enough for his normal size and his afterlife on the line, Scratchâs scare form had started to take over.
He strained against the effort of keeping his ectoplasm intact, phantom breaths coming in rapid huffs even as his teeth lengthened, spines burst from his arms, his shape swelled and pressed dangerously against unyielding steel and electrons. Somewhere, quietly in the back of his mind and underneath the screaming need to SCARE SCARE SCARE SCARE, he realized dimly that heâd never been afraid of being crushed until now, after heâd gained the ability to phase through objects at will. Well, most objects. Go figure.
So it was here, desperately trying to reign in his higher processes, that through an animalistic red haze Scratch glowered into the eyes of his captor. Ollie stood mere feet away, that biohazard-yellow gun a shield between him and his helpless prey, and Scratch acknowledged a terrible gleam of satisfaction as even now the weapon trembled in the boyâs hands.
Across the other side of the warehouse, behind the orangey shimmer of the Chensâs forcefield, Molly lay prone, the tiny movement of her breaths the only reason any of the Ghost Chasers were still alive. Esther knelt next to her, first-aid kit in hand, expression one of barely-contained terror. Not his doing, but heâd take credit. Maybe next time sheâd learn not to chuck a knockout bomb at a child. Well, at him. Molly had taken the metaphorical bullet (not a pretty mental image, given the circumstances), and if anything happened to her then Scratch was going to make all their lives a living hell.
Provided he got out unscathed. Somewhere, out of the thick of battle, Andrea fought to take the snareâs electronics offline, and no doubt June was blocking every attack with equal fervor. And even with legs as long as Libbyâs, it would take too much time for her to reach the McGeeâs house and bring back Pete and Sharon. Time Scratch didnât have.
Imprisoned, half feral with the urge to survive, and one finger twitch away from total erasure, Scratch was out of options. Just him and Ollie, and the trap and the gun.
And the father.
Ruben stood, face and hands pressed against the forcefield, vibrating with adrenaline. His attention laser focused to his son, caught on the opposite side with the enemy (that was Scratch, he had enemies now), the shouts of excitement and encouragement died at Ollieâs hesitation and veered distinctly into confusion and urgency.
âFinish it, Ollie, itâs trying to take attack form! End it before it escapes!â
Ollieâs only acknowledgement was the hitch of his shoulders, eyes locked with Scratch in a way that felt like he was missing context. Scratch had seen this boyâs hatred firsthand, he put things on the internet that should not be there, so what stopped him now?
A memory flashed to mind: Molly throwing herself in front of the knockout bomb, and someone shouting âNOâ nearby, and Scratch swelled painfully against the snare as a fresh wave of rage tore through his ectoplasm like the hiss from behind his fangs.
Ah. So now he knew.
âWeâre so close, Ollie,â Ruben continued to not shut up, voice like fingernails down Scratchâs strained self-control. âOur familyâs whole legacy has led up to this! You can give us everything weâve ever dreamed, just pull the trigger!â
The monster was caged, and still fear shone like a beacon behind Ollieâs eyes. Everything theyâd worked for at his feet and he still didnât move. Didnât look away.
Scratch was not a smart man on the best of days and now, claws scoring uneven grooves in the ground as their length oscillated with his concentration, he was grossly, hilariously far from his best. âDo it kid,â Scratch snarled, sucking harsh breaths from between gritted teeth. âYou know what itâll cost ya.â
âDo it, Ollie! This is our only chance!â
A long beat passed.
Ollieâs hands shook, but his trigger finger didnât waver.
From outside, a roar, and then a scream. Good old Geoff. The Chensâs heads whipped towards the door, and their combined fear-smell nearly whited out Scratchâs mind for good.
âGo help June!â Ollieâs voice pitched high with terror, and something else that tugged Scratchâs mind back to clarity. Surprise registered through the darkness clouding his mind as his parents obeyed, gathering a limp Molly into their arms, and a strange quiet settled over the warehouse.
And then, there were two.
Most of the threat and the fear-smell were gone, but Ollie still had a gun to his head and Scratch was still angry. His hue shifted, deepening to a sickly green, mouth stretching wide in a grotesque grin. âSo whatâll it be, Ollie? Gonna finish me yourself? Or gonna make your daddy do it for you?â The snare creaked ominously as his growth strained the limits. The ropes of plasma burned fierce red lines through the green, but he barely registered the pain. âEither way, sheâll never talk to you again. Wonât even look at you. She thought better of you, yâknow. Tried her darnedest to change your mind. You want her to wake up and find out she failed?â
Ollieâs eyes hardened, and Scratchâs temperature dropped several degrees. He really shouldâve known better by now than to make calculated risks, this one mightâve just cost him his life.
Ollieâs hand moved, and Scratch bit back a flinch before watching it dip into a pocket and emerge with a square device. As he pressed the giant, terrifying button right in the middle, Scratch braced for pain.
Instead, the pressure around him retreated, and Scratch floated up into the air. Free.
Free, and alone with the Ghost Chaser, who kept the gun trained on his head even as scared tears pooled at the corners of his eyes.
They stared at each other in a stalemate, Ollie unwilling to put down his weapon and Scratch wobbling between forms as he considered whether to put his uncomfortably pent-up scare energy to good use. Or at least entertaining use.
âRun,â Ollie whispered, and Scratch couldnât tell if it was a threat or a plea.
The instinct-induced haze lessened. If Ollie took the shot, heâd be disappointing Molly. (Who was he kidding, life without Scratch? Heâd be devastating Molly!) But if Scratch proved the Chens thoughts on ghosts right, heâd be doing the same thing.
Ollie hefted the gun higher, looking no keener to use it. âRun,â he repeated.
The easy way out. No lie, Scratch had considered it immediately. Molly was safe enough with the Chens, and all he wanted was to disappear into a dark corner and forget this whole nightmare ever happened. He could run, and theyâd be more careful, and this whole debacle meant Molly would stop hanging out with Ollie, and Scratchâs life could go back to normal. Save being on the run. Forever.
(Or until the Chens died out, and with Scratchâs luck this would absolutely turn into a multigenerational blood feud.)
Facts were: he was outed, and so was Mollyâs connection to him. Theyâd never be safe, not while the Chens were determined to cleanse the world of ghostkind.
Scratch took a deep breath and thought of his family, and the last of his spines smoothed and his colour returned to its natural blue and his shape stabilized. It mightâve been easier to go underground, but even these past few months of avoiding their (many, many) ghost traps had triggered an exhaustion that wouldâve been called bone-deep if heâd had bones. He didnât want to put his family through that, and frankly, Scratch was just damn tired. All he wanted was to sleep for a century.
He'd finish this first.
âLook, Ollie,â he started, relieved to find the bass in his voice had returned to normal. âAs far as ghosts go, Iâm a pretty lazy guy. Rather take a nap, yâknow? All that exercise ainât good for you.â
Ollieâs eyes darted to the side, face screwing up in that âum actuallyâ wince that Molly liked to adopt whenever she annoyed him enough to bring up the flat-earth theory. The first flicker of character heâd shown since this whole standoff started. âNot how that works, but what do you mean?â
Scratch smiled at his mortal enemy, and somehow it felt natural. âMeans Iâm tired of running, kid.â

HI GUYS I MADE A TGAMM AU
I dont have any art of it but dONT LEAVE YET PLEASE
But the basic concept is all of the (unique, no historical figures) ghosts are human, and all of the human characters are ghosts! The premise mostly surrounds Scratch (obviously) being "haunted" by Molly.
Molly is kind of an outcast among ghosts because of how joyful she is, and instead of going down to earth to create misery, she goes down to create joy! She, obviously, fakes her scare reports.
Scratch is roommates with Geoff and Jeff, though the three of them don't spend that much time together. Each have their own jobs to attend to, and Scratch's life is pretty bleak until one day he's getting a midnight snack, Geoff is sleeping on the couch, and a ghost comes in to scare Geoff!! It's Molly!!
Scratch kind of freaks out because come on you're interrupting his snack time and also she just appeared, realized Geoff was asleep, got out of her scare form, and slowly tucked a blanket over him. So Molly explains her situation and Scratch is like "literally just get out"
So Molly leaves but.. comes back the next day. And the next. And the next. She just keeps bothering Scratch all the time, and eventually, shenanigans occur.
For some other stuff:
The Chens are joy hunters!
In contrast, Jinx is a ghost hunter
Mr. Davenport is the Chairman! - andrea flaunts this constantly
The McGees and Libby are the only ones who really are fine with Molly being a ghost of pure joy, mostly because they knew each other in the real world
Harriet, Sally, and Sonia are roommates! Eventually Jinx moves into the same house as them and Sally moves out.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask away! The AU is... yet unnamed! Some of this stuff was come up with by @itchthefriendlyghost btw!!! :D
Thanks for readin, Ill be making a fic for it soon :)
EDIT: The AU is currently named the Reverse AU! Ill try to rb all the stuff people make for it, so going through the tag below should give you all the content on it!

Ghostfriends Precure (TGAMM x Precure Au)
I disappear for.. like a month? and I come back with an Au that Iâve recently came up with- oops-
I decided to talje the concept of the Ghostfriends (mainly Molly, Libby and Ollie) as Precures and then boom here we are!
Also Scratchâs role in this AU is essentially the fairy/mascot, Iâve been a bit giddy over this so donât mind me- I also tried the best I could to draw in the showâs art-style đ

About the Scratch/Molly Fusion, I was thinking of something funny. How would Ollie react to it.
The poor kid must be so confused on why Molly one minute is super nice to him, while the other minute it is the complete opposite.
While I agree, this would be hilarious, there are unfortunately a few factors as to why that wouldnât work with my particular version of the fusion. First and foremost being the physical differences when theyâre fused (Mollyâs skull actually changes shape to accommodate for sharper teeth and Scratchâs right eye, and the fusion isnât possible without the presence of the Chairmanâs Robe, so Ollie would know right away itâs not just Molly, rip the secrecy aspect), but their mind works on a fundamentally different level when theyâre Beff (stands for Best Ever Fusion Friends).
More lore under the cut!
Beff operates on a foundation of true consent: before execution, every action is discussed and either agreed upon by both parties or vetoed in the space of a nanosecond. The fusionâs brain works less like âthe mind in control flips back and forth between both membersâ and more like an even 50/50 split right down the middle. They know theyâre two minds, and the two minds have to be in constant conversation and agreement or else the fusion destabilizes.
However
The divide between their minds is a knife-edge, and itâs extremely common for one to get lost in the othersâ mannerisms and memory. These points are when it most seems like a specific half is taken over, even if the inner consent conversation never stops. Scratch might agree to smile at a stranger because heâs briefly forgotten heâs not Molly, and Molly might agree be petty or sarcastic for the same reason. Both of these examples are relatively low stakes, so consent doesnât come with much pushback and the resulting action feels smooth and natural.
In circumstances where opinions differ is where wires get crossed, and doubly so when you canât remember which âsideâ youâre supposed to be on. In extreme cases, this lack of agreement would cause the fusion to fall apart, but in smaller instances, they just⌠glitch out a little. The action to âspeakâ might be agreed upon, but the words theyâre saying are less so.
Anyway TL;DR, Molly would never consent to saying something outright mean to Ollie and Scratch would never consent to saying anything lovey-dovey or sappy, so a lot of Beffâs conversations with Ollie go like this:
#the ghost and molly mcgee#tgamm#asks#kcuf-ad#thank you for the ask!!#fusession#it physically hurts me that I canât use this concept#also thatâs probably more than what you were asking for#but when the opportunity to infodump about aus comes along I must#I just like thinking of Specifcs lol#Molly#scratch#Ollie Chen#art

Y'know I believe I saw an old promotional/concept art for the show in which one of em shows Molly essentially adopting a dog and was wondering how much an effect would that bring to her & Scratch's dynamic bc the latter doesn't look to get along with animals all that much.
I remember that concept art! It was this one
I would like an episode exploring this concept. Seems very fun. If there is an episode about this, i believe it's going to be about how Molly is not ready to take pets for the moment. I imagine the puppy trying to bit Scratch everytime it has a chance to do so.
I find it funny how Scratch gets randomly attacked by animals in the series. Like how in the last episode a rat jump into his face. It's so ridiculous.

Tgamm AMA Discord Summary (Bill Motz)
Will there be any human antagonists? ¨Itâs a Spoiler¨
Andrea will be in Lucky Penny
Scratch butt joke started as a storyboard joke I believe by Alayna Cabral
All Night Plight episode builds up to the finale, but it's basically a separate story
The ghosts' ectoplasm colors donât have any correlation to their death, it's about a balance of colors within the Ghost World.
The process behind coming up with the songs consists in The writing team thinking about where a good place for the song would be, the kinds of things it should cover story wise, the thematics and emotional intent, and then they discuss it with Rob Cantor, often suggesting possible genres of music.
The Mcgees had a dog pet in the concept show art, the creators never came up with a name for the dog but Bob, though, wanted to kill the dog and have it become a ghost.
Mayor Brunsonâs sexual orientation is open to interpretation (in reference to some of his lines in Citizien Mcgee that he never married or had children)
We may learn how Scratch died in some future episode
The chairman communicates by using grunts and hisses.
The sobgoblins are a type of ghost, but different from the human derived ghosts. They are more like negative emotions that haunt us (like self-doubt)Â that have become personified.
Andrea Davenport, like every character in the show, has her own journey
Itâs impossible for a ghost to escape the Flow of Failed Phantoms on their own with enough willpower
Molly and Scratch are both a contrast and a complement of each other. But they are better together than they would be apart¨
The chairman shares some of those characteristics with the Grim Reaper
Scratch gets another solo song, but Bill Motz couldnât remember how soon
Bill Motz love to have an art book from the series. They are looking into how Matt (Amphibia) and company have done theirs.
There wasn't any intentional connection of Tgamm to Lilo and Stitch, but Bill can see where there are some similarities between them
Molly and Scratch are Bill Motzâs favorite characters
The story behind Andreaâs obsession with her name gag was that Bob has a friend for whom the Andrea name pronunciation was important.
Billâs favourite episode is "Festival of Lights." and some upcoming episodes.
The origin behind Scratchâs name will be answered in the show in the future
Scratch likes listening to jazz from the 40's-70's. Molly would probably consider that "chaos music."
What happens when a ghost enters in the flow: ¨It's not so much pain as a sense of loss... of everything that made them feel like "them"¨
The creators originally came up with the idea of the show 14 years ago.The relationship of Molly and Scratch is based on Bob and Bill (Bill being Molly and Bob being like Scratch)
There could be a Libby song takeover in the future
Originally Molly's name was Piper, but there was another show in development at Disney with a lead character named Piper, so we changed it to Molly. Scratchâs name came from Bill ¨It struck me as being this subtle torment... and itch you just have to Scratch.¨
We will see some light touches of Libby's Argentinian heritage.Â
Ms. Lightfoot is Indigenous. She's played by Julia Jones, who is Choctaw and Chickasaw.
Libby's aspiration is to be a writer, she would like to write about turtles
There are going to be some romance plots
Matt Braly (Amphibiaâs creator who is also Thai) helped with the Thai representation in Tgamm
Scratch really doesn't remember how long he has been in the ghost world since he died
They had an idea about that the real expert ghosts don't startle you at all. They're the ones that wake you up at 3am to make you worry about work or school or family, etc. You never even realize you're being haunted, you're just miserable.
There are going to be half hour episodes in season 2
It takes about a year to make an episode of the show, from story idea to final mix and delivery. The Tgamm work on multiple episodes all at once.
Molly wearing a blue wig in ¨Scratch the surface¨ isnât intended to be a reference to Chloe from Life is Strange, a character voiced by Ashly Burch
Andrea Fatherâs name is Maxwell
Molly's disdain for maple syrup comes from the story editor Madison Bateman
Most of those quirky traits are direct lifts from the writing team. Madison hates syrup, Sammie Crowley hates close-up magic.
There is a design language created for the show, which means that there are frequently similar and unifying elements in the show that do not necessarily infer a story connection. (Similarities in design between Alister and Geoff doesnât mean anything between them)
A number of people contributed to Scratch's design, including John Loter, Alex Kirwan, and Lead Character Designer Justin Rodrigues
Molly had many friends in other cities before she had to leave, which is why leaving has always been so hard for her, why having a "forever friend" means so much to her.
The word enhappify came from the creators looking for an "ownable" word that would be uniquely Molly's and tell you instantly her point of view on life.
The Ghost Council used to be human, in Chairmanâs case: ¨If he was human, he's a very ancient spirit who has transformed over time into the embodiment of misery.¨
We will find out at least part of that story of why Libbyâs mother moved to Brighton
The person that's usually seen around Irving the Illusionist is called Rowdy Joe
We may learn more about Ghost lore in the future
The series will explore Mollyâs hatred for street magic in the future
