It's crazy how it was less painful when part one ended. I was like "Well, that's an alternative way to end a manga. I would have loved to see all the stuff explained but i respect the author's will to make it an actual modern tragedy." But this time it just feel like...i dunno, preparing yourself to beat up a horse to death? It's true that we have stuff waiting for resolution, but is it enough to develop an entire new part? Of course Ishida will introduce new plot points and all, but...

You sure you’re fine with killing him? He was your dad, right? - It’s okay, it’s okay. He probably doesn’t even remember what I look like.

Tokyo Ghoul:Re Chapter 176 Reaction
Furuta says that someday everything will come to naught, and the world is a toy chest that will someday close, and he decided to destroy everything.
Furuta says that if Kaneki never meet Rize, he would never have had the burden to do what he have done. Kaneki says he was just a normal human until he met Rize, and then his world changed. he says that even after knowing everything that would happend, he would still have gone to meet Rize that day.
Kaneki says that it was all necessary, and that this world is not wrong. it just is.
Furuta asks Kaneki that if he told him that he just wanted to live a normal life, if he would laugh. Kaneki says no.
in the afterlife (?) Furuta sees a small version of himself and Rize play together.
a line (probably) indicates that Furuta has died.
Kaneki finds the place where the toxin is, and enters the area.
Afternotes: this chapter showed a good way to show Kaneki’s growth, and the final moments of Furuta (i also have no clue how Ishida can finish this series in 3 chapters).

I can't stop thinking about this chapter's color cover. I find really interesting how the character with the most focus in the picture after Kaneki is Arima, and not someone like Touka or Furuta. If Sui wanted to highlight those who made Ken the OEK, why making Eto so small in comparison to Kishou? That's really shady. 🤔

Any thoughts on the spoilers?
Yeah, about that…
…i know that i said in the tags of another post that this time the disappointment was so high that i wouldn’t even care about avoiding spoilers, but that was really dumb of me. Like, extreamely dumb. As soon as i saw Furuta’s face in my dashboard i closed the page and went “nope nope nope”. I’m still extra salty about the news of the ending, but ruining my experience of what it’s probably going to be one of the most important chapters for Furuta’s character would be really stupid on my part. Let’s not do that, Paradox.
But after the chapter is out i would love to talk about it, so in case just ask like you already did. :}
