This one is a lot more angsty than I tend to go for which is probably why I don't have that much but I do have a very depressed X-Force Beast for you! Concept is Hank gives his Avenegrs backup directly to Simon after coming across him post Hellfire Gala genocide deal and this pisses Simon off because he doesn't just love Hank in an Avengers context but because of who Hank is in total etc etc and anyway it's just me being bitter and using that to create homosexuality 🫡

Onwards. It’s dangerous to be here. The city does not sleep and is the bed of many a proud vigilante, the superheroes that guard her streets against any threat. And Hank McCoy has become a threat in the years that have passed, a sickness to be amputated. In their minds, at least. Hank knows better. He knows what he’s doing is right. He knows that if they could just see the bigger picture the way he does, they would understand. He has to know that, because if he doubted himself even for a second this whole thing would fall apart. And he has gone too far to fall apart.
