death of an optimist//intro: pretty rad, good intro, blends really well into in over my head

in over my head: what a FUCKING TRACK HOLY HELL i love this song it’s such a fucking mood. the chorus is a little clunky rhythmically but his flow?/singing style hides it well and it doesn’t annoy me like it may have in a different artist. i feel like a lot of tumblr will also relate to this song tbh

identity: this one’s been out for a while but i like it a lot anyway. i don’t have that many thoughts on it bc it’s been out & so first impressions are not super fresh. however, i love the video so much. i think it’s

left behind: this song slaps, i love it. it’s more rock-y almost? but still very distinctly grandson. the sentiments behind it are really bittersweet imo, and it’s certainly (yet another) song of jordon’s i relate to quite a lot

dirty: this is one of my favorite songs in general i fucking adore it it’s so good i’ve watched the music video so much i almost know how to dance like x. it made it onto my spotify wrapped i’ve listened to it so much since it dropped.

the ballad of g and x//interlude: twenty one pilots who?? blurryface whomst?? (no shade but this is so much more cogent than blurryface). the music and the lyrics are almost musical theater-y in their interplay with each other, with some of the huge arcs of music.

we did it!!!: wow did not realize ballad of g and x had ended that was a smooth transition. ngl am not the biggest fan of this song esp. right after ballad of g and x. i think there are more interesting dichotomies in this album and i’m not super fond of we did it! we didn’t. i don’t think that’s a super strong lyric but i like other bits of this song. mixed feelings.

WWIII: this is such a gen z and millennial feeling tbh. this song can stand on its own without commentary i think. you should probably just go listen to it. it’s a brilliant criticism of the us military meat grinder and the endless wars in the middle east. oh! here’s what i want to say: the dichotomy between the title and the content of the song is bloody brilliant.

riptide: i love this song So Much. i fucking love the line “i have done bad things, done them to good people” and the video is also rlly fucking good. again, i’ve listened to this song a lot but it, like dirty, elicits the same feelings over and over again. the sharp staccato beat through some of this song fuckin hit me where it hurts.

pain shopping: this kinda has the same vibes as zen? am i crazy? this is like the theme of my depressive episodes tho. esp. the line ‘i feel nothing’ with this intense music. tbh i did not understand a lot of the lyrics in this song over the music but that’s ok cuz i like the music

drop dead: this song reminds me of my father, but not him as a father, him as a person. the acceptance of the speaker’s faults but also the refusal to quit and the instance on keeping moving, even when it kills him. v my father

welcome to paradise//outro: again, this is almost musical theater in quality? idk there’s something about this song that, while it sounds like grandson 4 sure, there’s almost something steampunky about it? especially the chorus? this is a rlly good song but i can’t pinpoint its vibes... guess i gotta listen to it dozens of more times to get it down!!

final thoughts: wow. just wow. this album was so. good. i knew it was gonna be good but this is such a cohesive product and blows everything else out of the water imo. even the weak songs on this album aren’t bad, they’re just not as good as the rest of the album. as a debut album, this is phenomenal. as an album in general, this is spectacular. i hope so much that jordon is so proud of himself, he has all reasons to be! i’ll probably get more into the themes on later listens but like i said, the cohesiveness of this album is spectacular, and makes it real easy to walk oneself through that.

general: backstage at the concerts is v welcome for any of the days, just idk, hanging out, i’m tryna keep this v general. pros: jaewon is p proud for unity snatching one of the three closing performance slots, dimensions’ pride indeed. cons: he probably has his tits out, jaewon always has his tits out on stage, he rlly lives like this. anyone is allowed to feel whatever way he wants ab either of those two things.

dec 26: jaewon pulls a blue card cuz sexy pool montage of jaewon. ok im kidding (kinda). idk, kick his ass at games, team up w him to crush the competition,  drown his stupid ass, literally anything.

dec 26: so SOMEONE learned his lesson from the halloween party, no alcohol at the ball for him. come clown him w/ memories of that night (he sure doesnt have any) or idk, try to talk him into drinking (he won’t)

dec 26: in general, i think jaewon might forego most of the party, just find a quiet spot to hang out, look at the sea or some fake deep shit. if anyone is feeling up to it come hang out w him and, idk, reflect on the past year. it’s a time for realizing stuff. hi imane! im moving to europe for school soon (during a pandemic, ik... i may not be the brightest person rn) and i was wondering if you know any simple, quick and affordable recipes one can make using ingredients that are readily available in europe? sorry if this might be vague, but i trust your taste in food tbh

hi! first of all welcome to this side of the world, hope the move is going ok and that your uni is taking measures for your health and safety. secondly i think you’ll have to be a little more specific country wise bc there’s a big difference between what’s readily available in portugal versus sweden for example. produce is easy to get by, try to shop in ethnic neighborhoods and markets where prices are more affordable, and like in general food is affordable in most countries (france and germany have better prices at their supermarkets than belgium for example). grains and canned goods are readily available everywhere and i don’t think it’ll be a huge difference between what you’re used to. food from central and latin america is harder to get around here but not impossible. for quick and affordable recipes you can check older videos from pro home cooks (fka brothers green eat) cuz while they’re american they make really good affordable recipes using up similar ingredients that you can find literally anywhere. and like i have a /food tag where i post some of my recipes although i am not particularly prolific! if one day you’re in a pinch and you have a list of ingredients to work with and no idea what to do with, shoot me a message. u can also send me a follow-up message to get what i consider to be pantry essentials. if you feel so inclined, pls let me know where in europe you are moving, i’m sure ppl from that area can help you out by replying on the post!

My lovely and supportive friend @kunstpause​ tagged me in this thing about Tropes... i swear cuz she knows I LOVE tropes... so lets look at these questions and you know answers and such bellow the cut for like dash saving reasons...

Let’s talk about tropes.

1. Do you enjoy the occasional trope, do you love them all, do you hate tropy stuff with a passion?

2. Which tropes are your favs? Which ones do you avoid? Have you written any yourself or is there one you really want to write?

Listen... everything even things that profess to not be “Tropy” are tropy... like even real life has Tropes so I say lean in and explore the hell out of them. I love looking at various common or even uncommon tropes and playing off them, sometimes subverting them or combining several into possibly a new one... I think for me that’s half the fun of plotting something is figuring out the trope and which ones would be fun to explore in the context of whatever fandom I am writing. Like the tropes I would use with Maeve wouldn’t be the same ones I would use with Mary Jane... one story is high fantasy while the other is modern drama naturally the tropes used would be vastly different... so yeah... I love me some Tropes...

Found family is huge one that I use through out my works, also because I am...a Villain Fucker... I usually end up doing some manner of dark mistress trope or good girl loves a bad man... type thing. Also... Destiny tropes... like either you can’t escape it or fighting against it is one I use a lot. Also like having kids... maybe it’s cuz I am mom... but a lot... not all but A LOT of my OC’s and fics at some point...have a pregnancy story arch... cuz I guess we write what we know? LOL...  I don’t really avoid tropes, there are ones obviously I like less... helpless women tropes kinda get on my nerves now but I used to write them. I like to think MOST tropes have their place in the fictional world...  I really love the Action Girl trope but because I have never written a real action “hero’s journey” type story before the closest I have gotten is Maeve... but even Maeve’s story is kinda an “anti-hero’s journey” rather than pure hero... I plan on exploring these with Grace because that whole idea of - Girl from the “Bad” family, with a father that some would consider “a monster”... who is fighting her own family to try and basically the “white sheep” of her family and Save Hope County is conceptually really appealing to me. Like her story concept has basically been me taking tropes I have liked but never played with and trying to fit them into a really compelling story... that’s usually how I plot tbh

3. Do you have different preferences for reading than you have for writing? If so, is there a reason for it?

Not really, because I am pretty open as far as like what topics I would read. I tend to enjoy more complex characters, deeply flawed MC’s are like my faves because they usually to me are so well crafted and their stories are ones that use tropes in a subtle ways and tend to have a lot of lore behind them... but like family tropes... more fluffy like “only one bed” tropes are always fun and I am old enough to really appreciate a good “Coffee Shop AU” fic cuz like... those ones just take me back to this odd like happy place of like “the good old days” of fanfic rofl.

After all he spends a lot of time around Lucifer (who likes to hide any sign of weakness or negative traits due to his pride), Asmo (who always puts a LOT of effort into his looks) and Mammon (who also likes to keep his true thoughts & feelings to himself. I mean there has to be a reason why his bond with Beelzebub seems to be the strongest out of all his brothers, and I think that's partly because Beel doesn't try to alter the way he appears to others. Belphie admires and respects both of you for that reason. The fact that you two are just so true and honest with yourselves and others.

Asmodeus would spoil you without even fully realizing it. Like the moment he learns that you're into jewellery and shopping he'll just naturally drag you along? I don't think money is a problem for him either so he just buys everything he likes for the both of you. He'll probably be a bit hurt if you don't wear the very revealing outfits he chose for you because he just knows you'd look so good in them!? Though when he sees you wearing some of the jewellery he's gotten you he gets all giddy again. Also loves to pull your cheek because you're so CUTE ~

Guide - How to befriend Satan: Step 1: Have 11 cats living with you. Srsly that fact alone will catch his interest and he absolutely doesn't mind if your pets are the main subject of all your conversations. Send him those cat photos at 3 am in the morning, he's awake and ready. Also, if you ever decide to create a social media account for your furballs Satan will be their number one follower! He already remembers every single one of their names the first time you mention them.

Mammon: Big girls make Mammon go creamies ok? I'm just gonna leave it at that -

Beelzebub definitely had his experience with self-doubt and insecurieties considering he had to choose between the two most important people in his life and counts himself responsible for not being able to safe both of them. It scarred him for sure and his gluttony surely doesn't make things easier for him. His brothers are accustomed to his appetite but Beel's aware of the weird looks others often give him. He knows how suffocating it feels to doubt yourself so if you're having one of those days where your self-esteem isn't up to snuff, he wants you to know you aren't alone and isn't afraid to let you know that you're awesome just the way you are.

Also: Beel noticing you liking one of his shirts will mostly result in said shirt ending up in your wardrobe. "I don't need it, you can have it if you want." *big happy smile* You're his lil panda now and he's gonna protect you ok?

Just like Beel I feel like Lucifer is just as aware of your feelings and therefore admires your emotional strenght a lot. He also likes that you're usually quiet and don't cause a lot of ruckus.

Simeon: With this guy around you'll never feel left out. He'll always try to include you in conversations and shows genuine interest in your opinions. Half of the reason he does so is because wants to get to know humans better, the other half is because he's good at making feel people important and it doesn't sit right with him to see you being left out. He won't force you into conversation of course, but if he feels like you're being left out too much Simeon is very good at directing the right amount of attention towards you.

Luke: If you like sweets, cakes or any other kind of pastries Luke will be over the moon! He's been into baking for 300+ years but getting positive feedback from an actual human would definitely mean a lot to him. Don't compliment him too much on it or the amount of baked goods he'll shove your way will increase continuously.

Barbatos is quick to notice your attempt to get along with everyone, including people that are very different from you. Being Diavolo's right-hand man he definitely knows how to appreciate your efforts, since he's in a similar position where he has to get along with certain people, no matter how much disdain he may hold against them.

Last but not least I ship you the most with

Levi

Being an INFP you're naturally good at listening to others and this shut-in Otaku really needs someone to pay attention to him. He's very touch starved as well so if you can provide him with cuddles and affection that'd be much appreciated. Kudos if you don't mind staying inside his room all day long. It would definitely help a lot with his jealousy, since hanging around the others more than him will surely put him in a sour mood. He's quite the pessimist when it comes to himself so if you make him feel enough or even loved then that's already a huge achievement. After all Asmo also seems to enjoy being around you very much and the fact that you'd rather spend your time with some yucky Otaku instead of going outside to have fun with the others really takes him aback, in a good way though.

It also doesn't really matter how you want to spend your time with him, you don't even have to interact with him at all as long as you're both in the same room he's already happy. Feel free to watch TV when he's playing videogames or sleep in his bedtube. He's totally fine with you doing your own thing as long as you're near him.

All in all it would be such a chill and sweet relationship. Help I'm jealous

Playing any kind of singleplayer game just doesn't hold the same appeal after he gets used to your company and he also loves how invested you can get into videogames, no matter how good or bad you're at them. Okay... So I just wanna rant about The Arcana cuz I love it and wanna share my opinion. This is gonna be long and kinda everywhere, so bear with me.

So, here it goes.

About the new prologue: I, personally, really enjoyed the updated prologue. I thought it was fun, engaging, and I LOVED the new stuff with Lucio, Portia, and Muriel. I thought it introduced all the LIs perfectly. None of them got too much screen time, none got too little. I thought it added a lot to the characters, the mystery, and the MC. I know that they got rid of stuff and probably should have given back coins for people who bought stuff, but they did unlock all the premium routes for it, so that's basically your coins back right there.

This is the most beautiful thing I have ever seeeennn. My heart basically leaped out of my chest when my big mountain man (tm) came to the shop. So wonderful.

I thought adding free CGs for each LI was really nice and tbh, I like Muriel, Lucio, and Julian sooooo. I'm glad they all have CGs now.

Okie, done with prologue update, onto my overall thoughts of the game.

Disclaimer: I've done all of Muriel and Lucio's route (that we have as of 5/31/20), most of Portia's, and a few books of Julian's cuz I want to buy all of his books without spending actual money.

My main man is first, Julian: okay. I love him. So much. I started playing this before the other 3 LIs were introduced, so I chose Julian, even though I probably would have chosen Lucio, if given the chance then. However, since I have done Julian's route, I have fallen in love. I love his quirky, sarcastic attitude. I love his flaws and intellect. He's just overall a very well rounded and dynamic character. I have only gotten to book XI, (so no spoilers please) so I don't know everything about him, but I know enough.

My main (and only) problem with his route (and I know this is a huge part of his character, I'm just writing my thoughts down) is how sub he is. The problem I have with this is that I, too, am sub... Which is why I would have normally chosen Lucio first.

HOWEVER, I have grown to love him beyond that small problem and he will always be my main man.

On to Lucio! Lucio, my childish, smexy Count. How I love you so.

Lucio is probably my favorite route. I know that I said Julian is my main man (and he is!), I just can't get over the fact that Lucio is basically the epitome of my ideal man... Which is kinda frightening and kinda weird, but whatever.

I also feel like you learn so much with his route. You learn about him, his mother, his whole deal with Asra’s parents, and a heck of a lot with his deals with the courtiers. I know you learn about them in other routes, but I feel as if you see it from a different angle with his. Lucio allows you to see the victim’s side, but also the perpetrator’s side. It’s so much fun.

*SPOILERS AHEAD FOR LUCIO’S ROUTE*

I also absolutely adore the interaction between Lucio and MC when they’re at the Lazaret. It’s heartbreaking, but also so well written. I have not cried at any other part of any route, except for that scene. I legit sobbed. It was so amazing to see this side of Lucio and then after that, at the masquerade.... UGH! SO good!!!

The whole thing with Vlademar at the end of the latest chapter! So amazing! I need the next part, devs!

So yeah, I love Lucio.

Now, my big mountain man, Muriel: Muriel’s route is also very sad, and I gotta say, it’s very fun to read. I love the interactions between MC and Muriel, and I feel like it has more to do about them than about any of the other characters, which I feel happens with the other routes.

(I especially love the part when you first meet him and call him cute and he gets all flustered!!! So cute!!!!)

Like, you spend more time with Muriel, and you learn so much about him and how broken he is and how lonely-- ugh. It makes my heart ache. He’s just too pure.

I also love all the stuff with Morga. So well written and I like that side of her; the more motherly side rather than the one you see in Lucio’s route.

Muriel’s route is just fun to read, in my opinion. I love the story and all, but I haven’t gotten as hooked as I have with Lucio and Julian. I dunno. It might just be me, but with the other two, their stories have so much to them (not that Muriel’s doesn’t), but Muriel’s... I suppose his just isn’t the kind of story I’m looking for? If that makes sense. I will still read it, obviously, I just probably won’t buy anything as I do with Julian and Lucio.

I ain’t gonna do anything on Portia, cuz I only started her route with the infinite keys weekend thing. I dunno, I am bi, but for some reason I find myself drawn to these three more. 

So, overall opinion: Absolutely amazing game. The story for each route is so well thought out and each character is so dynamic... The writer in me is squealing in joy. I think with the daily five coins, the wheel, and heart hunter, paying for books isn’t terrible. If you’re patient, that is. So yeah. Amazing game, and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good dating sim that isn’t just about the dating, rather it’s about building your relationships with multiple characters as well as a good ol’ murder mystery.

That cashier at a supermarket that is too nice and awkward to the point that you genuinely just feel like giving him a hug before leaving. Everyone is crushing on him but he's unaware. Is he the next alex from target? When he's faced by a rude customer, everyone is ready to jump to his defence and protect the precious boy cuz he deserves it.

Luca:

That one guy at the movie theatre that probably only took the job so he could sneak in and watch free movies. But, well, eventually got bored of course. Lowkey flirts with customers he finds attractive. Gets fired after pulling an elaborate prank, which nobody gets how he managed to pull off. But he did cuz it's Luca we're talking about here, people.

Klaus:

He's one of these people you hear about on tv/internet who just start their own businesses and become billionaires and?? Yeah that little shit is one of them. So not a part timer.

Azusa:

That really irritated cashier at a fast food place. Just wants to go back home away from the noise and the crowds tbh. Tries his best to be nice to rude customers but once he snaps..oh boy. Even the manager is lowkey scared of him? Still customers and co-workers crush on him. He's sorta indifferent and would only pay attention to that one special someone.

Serge:

That super friendly waiter that makes jokes and is literally adored by everyone. Keeps his calm around rude customers but wouldn't let them cross the line. Bestfriends with everyone- no exceptions.

Joel:

Works at a music store. Basically disgusted by half the items they sell cuz what in the world happened to music?? Silently judging your music taste. Will be extra nice to you if he approves of your music taste though! Probably has a book with him in case he got bored or something. Either unfazed by rude customers or will sass the heck out of them, no in between.

Leon:

Confused retail worker. Probably arrives too late or too early. Honestly nobody really knows what he's up to or what he's thinking, but he seems nice so they don't really question him much. Whenever a customer asks him anything, he'll just find another worker to ask what he's just been asked. Kinda just walks around aimlessly really. Still gets the job done somehow?? Magic idk.

Vincent:

That retail worker that just sends you to the other side of the store after you ask about the place of an item that he doesn't really know where it's placed. Will find a hiding place to nap if he's too sleepy. Shows up a little late but not enough to get him fired. Gets flirted with and will probably flirt back. People love him too much so it's nearly impossible for him to get fired anyway.

Guy:

That one worker at a clothes store that will find you 126378572 outfits to try on and give his opinion on each and every one of them. You're probably gonna walk out of the store with at least half of the outfits he picked out. Too friendly so you can't even complain as he drags you around the store. Will reveal secrets on how to get discounts and such even if he's not really supposed to. Gets flustered over the smallest things like thanking him.

Cerim:

Works at a clothes store too but he's kinda confused by some terms and has to turn to Guy for help. "What in the world is a broomstick skirt?! This has nothing to do with Harry Potter, right?" Regardless, he's still very nice and would try his best to be of help.

Glenn:

Works at an ice cream shop. Always happy to serve little kids. Blushes furiously when flirted with. May secretly add some free extra toppings for children he likes. Attracts an oddly huge amount of single mothers?? Is absolutely adored by his manager.

Leslie:

Pet shop. Will snap your neck if you're thinking of mistreating the animals. Literally always watching everyone that enters the shop to make sure no animals get hurt, which gets kinda creepy, but he has good intentions so yeah. Honestly the softest ever when you see him interacting with animals!! Gives loads of advice for how to care for the pet you're buying. Emotionally attached to every single one of the animals but will not admit it obvs. Kinda has arguments with the snarky parrot in the store. It's funny to watch so nobody tries to stop it.

Sigurd:

That bookstore worker that will not stop recommending books to you. You end up walking out the store with 10 books in hand, and that's only 1% of his suggestions. Has like at least 5 people around him, as he discusses books with them. Attracts people to the store because of his humour and intelligence; people just wanna listen to him speak and actually have convos with him. Convinces people who aren't normally fans of books to read. Usually drags them into the hole of becoming a bookworm.

Mel:

Works at a flower shop. Knows more about plants than the owner of the shop. A person walks in asking for a bouquet of roses, walks out with a newly gained knowledge about the flowers. Makes the prettiest flower arrangements with no effort at all. Though customers usually view him as rude since he only speaks when he needs to. (Unless it's to discuss plants)

Zeus:

Works at a video game store. Sort of challenges everyone to a competition tbh. Judges your taste in video games but not so silently. Almost gets fired about once everyday. Works at a bookstore because it seemed like a quiet, peaceful job. Always has his earphones plugged in. Not super friendly but not rude either- basically neutral. Just wants to go home. Will be slightly happy if he sees someone buying a book he likes and may praise their choice.

Alfonse:

Tutor. Genuinely cares for whoever he's helping. Doesn't really ask for much payment. Very smart but underestimates himself. Will be overjoyed if/when his student gets high marks.

Liz:

Babysitter. You know the type to be very panicky and clumsy? Yeah that one. Not saying she'd be bad. It's just she'd be nervous at first until she gets used to it. Tries her best to get along with the child. Usually the kid really likes her and they become friends. If not, she'll sort of take things personally and get offended/hurt by the kid's dislike to her and make it her mission to change that. It'd be more like her hanging out with the kids rather than being in charge of them tbh. But it's okay cuz in the end everyone is happy.

Chapter 1, 2

Don’t forget to brush your hair, you thought to yourself as you scurried around the kitchen searching for something small and quick to eat. You were running behind because you slept in and now you had less time to get ready for work. The only good thing about waking up early at this moment was that Harrison and Tom were still sleeping. Haz didn’t have work until later and you didn’t know about Tom but you also didn’t really care. Whenever you slept at Harrison’s, you would set an alarm to wake up and go back to your apartment that was downstairs and you’d get ready for work at home but today was not working like that. So you wore the same shorts you did the day before and stole one of Harrison’s tee shirts and cinched it up, attempting to make it look cute. After grabbing a water bottle and a granola bar, you were finally in your car driving to the studio you worked at. You ran your hands through your hair in distress only to realize you completely forgot to brush it. Well, at least you weren’t going to be late.

“Y/n someone just came in, asking for you.��� You whipped around to face your co-worker who tapped your shoulder. You worked as an assistant to a fashion photographer. Why would someone be looking for you? It couldn’t be Harrison because everyone in the studio knows him because of how often he stops by to bring you lunch, or pick you up. You gave your co-worker Laura, a weird look and then walked over to the front door. Standing behind the front desk was Tom. This fucking boy, you wished you could scream but you just smiled at him, “Hey?”

“I want some headshots.” His hands were stuffed in his pockets but he stood still with confidence. The confidence you’d find in a narcissist.

“Did you schedule a shoot?” He easily could’ve gone online and planned something or even called the studio but there’s no way he did. That would make your life easier so why would he?

“I figured our chat last night counted as a scheduling.” You look at him with anger and even though you want to yell at him for being so childish, you also want to give him everything he wants. His golden eyes shine onto you like sunlight and it burns, it hurts but it also feels good, warm and comfortable. But you don’t say anything, you just walk towards the back space of the room where another small studio is set up. It was a good thing you were friends with almost everyone at the studio or else you wouldn’t know how to explain yourself.

“My friend Sadie will take some pictures of you, just go over to her when she’s done with her client and tell her I sent you.” You pointed to Sadie who wore a bright yellow flowy tank top with flowers on it.

“She’s cute.” Tom said before slowly walking over to her. You just rolled your eyes knowing that Sadie wouldn’t even look twice at him since she had a boyfriend. You stood in the corner of the room, near a closet filled with props and clothes. Watching Tom walk and talk with other people was interesting. You could clearly see manipulation in his hand movements and the way he titled his head when he spoke. He was definitely attractive and that’s probably why he so easily got what he wanted all the time. He changed into a few different outfits at Sadie’s request. There was something about the way black looked on him that was enthralling. It matched his dark aura, but you liked it. Sadie took pictures of him and giving you looks after each shot, with an expression that basically said “What the fuck?” After she took the headshots she directed Tom to the changing room where he could put back on his normal clothes. As soon as he was gone Sadie was running right up to you.

“Is he your boyfriend? He’s an ass, but he’s definitely cute.” Sadie talked fast and you tried to keep up. Sad to see that Sadie could already tell he was a douche bag in the short amount of time she had to deal with him.

“No he’s not my boyfriend. He is an ass though and I’m sorry I just threw him at you. It’s a long story.”

“He said you slept at his place last night?” Of course he did. Of course he told some twisted truth just to start drama.

“No, oh my gosh, no! We both slept at Harrison’s last night. He’s calling it his place because he’s staying with Haz. Like I said, long story.” Sadie just gave you a nervous look and you told her you would tell her more later. Soon enough Tom came rolling out of the changing rooms and leaned against the wall, looking right at you.

“If you go on our website and type in this code, you can find your headshots there.” You handed him a piece of paper with the code on it. He smiled, taking the paper and shoving it in his pocket. It felt a little like Tom didn’t actually want pictures of himself and he just wanted to see you. You didn’t want to think like that, but that’s how it felt.

“What time do you get off?” You could feel his eyes on you and you wanted to look back, with your head high and shoulders back but you couldn’t so you just looked at his forehead, the space between his eyebrows. It was a stupid trick but it worked whenever you didn’t want to look someone in the eye. For you, it was risky business making eye contact, especially with someone like Tom.

“I have a lunch break in five minutes actually and then I’ll be home around 3.” You looked at the clock on the wall behind Tom, 11:55.

“Lunch break. Let me get you lunch. Since you got me pictures.” Tom was leaning closer and closer towards you, his smile widening. You leaned further away even though you didn’t mind being close to him. His energy was somehow soft, but in a dangerous way. Danger. Tom wasn’t anything dangerous, just a fuckboy with a rude attitude. You had to stop thinking so badly of him. There’s no reason for you to be afraid, right? The walls around you and him were getting smaller and it was like you were in this tiny space with only Tom. You moved backward, your shoulder hitting the wall behind you before calmly saying, “You don’t have to.” He touched your shoulder, moving it away from the wall. His grip on your shoulder was strong but his hands were soft on your bare skin. It was...nice. His touch was cooling, as if it relaxed all the tense muscles in your arm.

“It’s okay love, I want to.” And you couldn’t say no to his honey dripping voice, so the only word left was yes.

“You can leave the building for your break right?” Yes.

“Do you like coffee?” Yes.

Tom’s car was surprisingly clean, it even smelled nice. He drove pretty fast and you clung onto the leather seat below you, trying to look collected. So you opened your window and relaxed, letting the wind toss around your hair. The conversation in the car was small and short. He asked you about how long you worked at the studio and how long you knew Harrison. It wasn’t until the ride was over that you noticed he was only asking you questions and you didn’t get to learn anything about him. You hoped that would change though as you entered the small coffee shop.

“So, what’s your story?” It may have been blunt but you wanted to know so you figured you would just ask instead of trying to dance around certain topics in conversation.

“Don’t really have one. Just your average guy, living life the best he can.” He sat right across from you, his arms crossed. He was lying.

“Everyone has a story. Why’d you get kicked out of your apartment?” You said, pretending that you didn’t hear what he said to Harrison last night about how people didn’t like his lifestyle. Well what the hell lifestyle was that?

“Wouldn’t you like to know. Don’t worry, it was nothing illegal.” You just frowned wishing he’d tell you more.

“How was sleeping with Haz last night? You guys have any fun?” Tom grinned, propping his elbows up on the table.

“Wouldn’t you like to know.” You mocked him, laughing. The rest of the time spent at the coffee shop was actually good. He payed for everything like he said he would, he even opened the car door for you. It wasn’t until you finally made it back to the studio that you pulled out your phone to see 6 texts and 3 missed calls from Harrison. You read the first one you saw.

You still wanting pizza for lunch? Cuz I was thinking about sandwiches tbh. I’ll be at the studio around 12.

Shit. Harrison was going to pick you up for lunch today. How could you forget about the plans you two had made yesterday? You both wanted to go check out that new pizza place down the road from the studio. Although Harrison apparently wanted a sandwich now. The events that happened last night seemed to throw you way off. You honestly couldn’t even remember what happened yesterday, you only remembered last night when your high school dreams of kissing Harrison were about to come true, only for Tom to ruin them. But how could you be so forgetful and irresponsible?

“Everything okay?” Tom’s voice took you out of your thoughts as he opened the door for you. You walked into the building of the studio.

“I was supposed to get lunch with Haz. Ugh, he’s gunna be wondering where I am.”

“You don’t have to tell him where you are or what you do. He doesn’t control you.” Tom started slowly walking away and you just looked at him with your jaw dropped. It wasn’t like that with Harrison at all. Why would Tom say that? You went to say something but your phone screen lit up with another text. You looked down to see Harrison’s name on the screen.

Wow. Thanks for telling me. Hope you had fun with Tom.

How did he know you were with Tom? You looked up from your phone to ask Tom if he told Harrison, but he wasn’t in sight.

JuminZen Week Day 2 - Cats & Dogs

@juminzenweek Based on something that actually happened to me in real life... confusing my friend’s cat for something else jlsdkdslkjdkj xD I hope you enjoy! More under the cut <3

Cool raindrops hit his face as he exited the theater. Zen pulled his jacket up to shield his neck and mentally prepared himself for walking through the rain when something in the corner of his eye seemed to move. Turning his head, he saw the alley beside the building, littered with empty bottles, plastic bags, torn up fliers and a small cardboard box. It was nothing unusual.

Except the box moved.

Zen walked over to it and very carefully opened the flaps, desperately hoping it was just a trick of his imagination and not a huge angry rat that would bite his face off. What he saw instead, he almost thought it was a rat at first, was a wrinkled, completely furless, small animal staring up at him with big dark eyes. Its ears, too large for such a tiny head, were poised stiff and made Zen think of a dog. It backed away into a corner, scared of the giant human looming over it.

“Hello little one, why are you out here?”

There was a dirty blanket in the box, making Zen suspect someone had put this animal here. When its body shivered from what had to be both fear and the cold, Zen’s heart broke.

“You sure aren’t the prettiest puppy, are you? But that doesn’t mean you should be out here.”

Zen took off his scarf and placed it in the box, hoping it could warm up the poor thing. With no effort, he picked the box up, the puppy weighing nothing. While heading home, he noticed how the puppy started to shiver less but never stopped staring.

Exactly as 30 seconds passed, Zen’s doorbell rang. The actor groaned and gently pushed Adonis off his lap, who stared at him and the door with wide eyes from the couch, large ears perked up. Zen couldn’t help but smile at the adorable thing while he headed to the front door.

Opening it a large, heavy bag of kitty litter was shoved right into his arms.

“Put that somewhere where you would like the litterbox to be,” Jumin instantly ordered him, holding the plastic litterbox in one hand and a fancy shopping bag in the other. Zen thought that had the be the fanciest and shiniest brand name he ever saw on a bag.

“Jesus, Jumin! You can’t just drop by and barge in whenever you feel like!” Zen said, standing aside as Jumin ‘barged in’ by walking through Zen’s open door.

After the stoic businessman placed the litterbox on the ground, he put the bag on the kitchen table and started taking out cans and what looked like tiny sweaters and hats. “You said you needed help. I’m here to help.”

“Advice! I wanted advice!” Zen huffed, dropping the heavy litter on the floor with a ‘thunk’. Someone passed by giving him a curious glance, and he quickly closed the door.

“You admitted yourself the stores are closed. A litterbox and food are basic needs for a cat, Zen. At least accept them for the night.”

Zen fell quiet at that. Just as Jumin was done filling his entire table with all kinds of cat things that made Zen’s nose tingle, the businessman was suddenly distracted by a hairless kitten carefully staring at them, hiding as much of his body behind a pillow. Adonis must have gotten scared from all the yelling, Zen realized, and felt guilty.

“Is that him?” Jumin asked in awe and already strode to the couch. The kitten fell on his side, startled by the new presence, but upon Jumin offering his hand the cat’s childish curiosity won

Zen swore he saw a smile on Jumin’s face as Adonis sniffed his fingertips. “You’re right, he is quite handsome.”

“Of course he is,” Zen boasted. While Jumin was busy winning over Adonis’ heart, the actor grabbed the bowl on the floor with barely touched dog kibble. Soon it was replaced with Jumin’s overpriced kitty food and he set it near the couch on the floor.

The reaction was instantaneous, Adonis forgot everyone and everything around him, jumping down to shove his face into the bowl, devouring the food.

Zen sighed. “Thanks Jumin, he must have been starving.”

Sitting on the couch, Jumin watched the kitten eat. “He looks healthy. You have a vet visit planned?”

“Of course. What do you take me for?”

Only the tiny sounds of munching filled the air. Jumin kept staring intently at the tiny creature, and Zen’s irritation slowly dissolved. Somehow, he felt the urge to sit next to Jumin and waved the bizarre feeling away. Right after, seeing his newly discovered cat brought about more worrisome thoughts.

“Jumin… I was thinking. Maybe you should adopt him.”

Jumin straightened his back to look at Zen. “You said you wanted to keep him.”

“I considered it, but I know less about cats than dogs. What if I end up hurting him?” Cat or not, Zen couldn’t handle the idea of any animal suffering under his care. His heart raced from the thought of it alone. He bit his lip, hating this sudden anxious feeling. “He would be safer with you, we both know it.”

It was then Adonis was done with his meal, having licked every part of the bowl until he was certain there wasn’t a trace of kibble left. Then, he jumped on the couch, sniffing Jumin for a second before climbing on top of the armrest to demand attention from Zen. Zen couldn’t resist petting the little wrinkled baby.

“There is a saying that the pet chooses the owner and not the other way around. He clearly prefers you. He doesn’t trigger your allergies, he’s not going outgrow your apartment, isn’t he perfect for you?” Jumin countered, scratching Adonis on his back, causing the spoiled kitten to throw on his loud motorboat purr.

Zen had expected Jumin to accept instantly, so the actor was at a loss for words. Since when was the cat freak so nice anyway? It flustered him, causing Jumin to chuckle.

It’s almost like… we’re family, Zen thought, and Jumin must have thought the same, for the moment passed and everything suddenly felt awkward. At once, Jumin halted his petting and stood up, brushing off his suit from non-existent fur. “Rest assured that if you do mistreat the cat, I will inform the police in seconds.”

“Wha-“

“And of course, we must arrange playdates for your cat and my Elizabeth.”

In protest, Zen picked up his kitten, Adonis struggling lightly out of confusion and finally resting his paws against Zen’s chest. “What! As if I’d let my kitten anywhere near your furball! Ugh, my nose is itching again!”

Jumin rolled his eyes. “Excuse you, Elizabeth is a very refined and beautiful cat that yours could learn a lot from.

“Adonis is more beautiful than your bag of fleas ever will be!” Any trace Zen ever had of giving his pet away gone, the actor holding his cat possessively against his chest.

Zen saw the future CEO’s lips curl into a small smile before it dropped off again. “She is a queen amongst commoners. Anyone with sense would agree.” Jumin lifted his sleeve, revealing an expensive-looking watch. “I have stayed here far too long. I’m late for my evening appointment.”

Jumin, late for an appointment? Zen wondered if Jumin would risk annoying a client for a cat. Yes, of course he would. Though Zen knew he would have done the same.

“Good, get out you home invader!” Zen said, acting like he was chasing Jumin out while Jumin already opened his door.

“See you soon, Zen.” Jumin waved.

“Oh come on!” Something told Zen he wasn’t going to get out of those playdates.

After Zen shut the door behind the businessman, he sighed - out of relief, he told himself, not because of anything else. Adonis proceeded to climb onto his shoulders and Zen wondered how he could have possibly thought he was a puppy.

Hmpf, of course Jumin thinks his stupid cat is prettier. He knew he should start practicing his lines as normal, but Zen proceeded to snap more selfies of him and Adonis together and posting them in the chatroom for good measure.

SAME when i first got into nct i was like ok no way im ever gonna really learn ALL 18 names (it was 18 at the time). but look at me now...i totally agree that i actually really really like their music too, for me the music is a HUGE part of whether or not i decide to even start stanning a group (like if i dont like the music i prob wont stan them super hard haha). and nct’s music is really kinda different from other groups (i especially love nct127′s basslines...like in simon says i lowkey feel fear in the beginning of the song but i love it??) i feel like nct has honestly maybe changed my music taste haha cuz sometimes i listen to a song (like kick it, or work it, or maw) and im like idk how i feel about this...but as i listen to it more, im like wait this is such a good song actually?! and of course they are all so talented and sweet and i LOVE their relationships with each other (dreamies are my fav unit, they are so precious and i think their chemistry is the best)

Headcannons for the Group Therapy fic thing cuz it was requested like twice that I continue this so. I might do a fic later, no promises.

This also includes stuff already mentioned in the fic ‘Group Therapy’ which I wrote :D

I know someone else made some headcannons that i kind of base some of these on ? but i read a lot of headcannons so i dont exactly know which are based and what theyre based on. Sorry.

-Eddie has social anxiety and is a huge germaphobe

-He and Stan bond over cleaning things and how neat things should be.

-Eddie is very nurturing and will disregard his germaphobia if it means he can comfort someone

-also very badass ??? Eddie will use all of his first aid kit for his friends and he’ll punch people in the face if they mess with them

-Eddie is the only one that Stan will touch him bc Stan knows that this kid washes his hands more than Richie makes crude jokes and he basically bathes in hand sanitizer so he’s the cleanest

-Eddie is so good at handling emotional episodes and panic attacks that the others go through ?

-Like he’s internally freaking tf out but in the outside he’s so cool and collected that it’s hard to feel threatened around him

-has like friend crushes on everyone ? Like he only wants to date Richie but he loves he others so much that he hates being apart from them

-Stan has OCD and is obsessed with the number three.

-He prefers Stan over Stanley because Stan Uris is three syllables.

-Everything in his room is sorted in three; pants, shorts, and underwear. Polos, button ups, and t shirts. Etc.

-Everything he does is in sets of three and he’s constantly bullied bc of the panic attacks he’ll get during class or when he helps the teacher clean up and ends up sort everything in the classroom into threes.

-Stan’s dad took him birdwatching in an attempt to get Stan out of the house but at the same time keep him in a calm environment and he loved it so much so now they regularly go birdwatching for exactly three hours

-Stan goes to school two hours early so he can arrive at six and he is allowed to leave three minutes before everyone else so he doesn’t have to come in contact with people

-for the first week of school, they forced Stan to try and be like everyone else and it didn’t work ??

-like he doesn’t know what they expected but he couldn’t do anything bc if he wasn’t having a panic attack, he was compulsively tapping his desk or the wall in threes in an attempt to calm himself down

-Stan wakes up at five thirty am every morning

-he goes to bed at nine pm

-it’s like fucking clockwork and if he’s even a minute off, he’ll be hella upset and no one wants to see Stan upset

-Mike has insomnia and stays awake for days on end.

-He survives purely on coffee from the coffee shop located down the street from the school where the rest of the losers go to

-he’s really good at hiding the bags under his eyes by keeping his head tilted forward so the bags look like shadows and no one looks close enough to tell the difference.

-if it gets bad, he uses make up to cover up the bags under his eyes

-he loves talking to people so much ? Especially kids his age bc he isn’t really exposed to anything back at the farm

-he was actually the only one who was really excited to do the group activity

-Bev and Richie were okay with it bc they knew they’d see each other but Mike was excited !!

-new people to meet and talk to ??? Hell yes !

-he and Ben hang out pretty regularly at the library to find history books and discuss them

-they’ve gotten into some pretty awesome debates that would end abruptly bc they’d get really heated and the two boys would start laughing bc they can’t take each other seriously

-Mike likes to draw and he does it mostly when he can’t sleep

-One time Richie had spilled some water on a picture that Mike was drawing and Mike didn’t talk to Richie for a week and a half

-Ben had to convince him that Richie didn’t mean it and that Richie was probably sorry

-of course Eddie made Richie apologize

-it wasn’t very sincere bc Richie + an apology is just a mess

-but Mike accepted it and forgave him nonetheless

-Bill has mild depression and can see and hear a clown (Pennywise) talk about his brother

-no one else can see this thing so Bill feels like he’s tripping balls 90% of the time

-he can see Georgie too which is why he’s so adamant about finding him alive bc he can’t be seeing Georgie’s dead ghost ?? That’s not allowed ??

-Bills stutter had gotten so much worse after Georgie’s disappearance and at this point he just doesn’t talk in public

-Bev steals money from her father for cigs and weed that she buys from Richie because he charges her a lot less then most of the dealers she’s encountered

-she has like three outfits that she wears but that’s it. Don’t even try to buy her clothes bc she just won’t accept it.

-she smokes her sadness and fear away. That’s how she copes and it’s really not a good habit but she doesn’t really care

-Beverly and Richie smoke up on the rooftops during gym class and sometimes whenever Richie needs a break during whatever class bc the boy gets very overwhelmed very easily ??

-Bev is the only person who can tell when he’s getting overwhelmed and since they had every class except for Spanish and geography, she’ll always pull him aside and go for a smoke whenever he looks tense.

-Beverly is such a fucking babe ? Like she does literally nothing and she’s so pretty ? But she hates compliments with a passion.

-only Richie can compliment her without getting slapped

-I’m living for the Bev and Richie friendship tbh they’re like siblings and will die for each other.

-one time Henry Bowers was hitting on Bev and wouldn’t leave her alone and Richie fucking decked him

-Richie left with a black eye, busted lip, some cuts, and some burn marks (curtsy to Patrick) but it was fucking worth it

-Bev is like 10/10 great at making deals. Patrick and her are actually acquaintances bc Bev gives him new lighters when his run out of fuel from terrorizing people and his weed goes missing all the time so she give him some of hers so he’ll leave her alone

-Ben is so fucking soft ?? I love him so much

-he is literally the embodiment of a book, flower, and warm aesthetic

-Ben cares about people so much ? Like he will fuss about his friends eating but then he will forget (or sometimes purposely) to eat

-he’ll be so into writing poetry for someone cough Bev cough that he’ll just not do his homework or remind himself to stay hydrated

-but what’s weird is that when he reads, he’ll be brought back down. Like the self image problems and the forgetfulness temporarily go away

-he’ll be reading a history book that he borrowed from Mike and suddenly he’ll remember that he hadn’t eaten all day and he’ll ask his mom for something to snack on as he reads

-or maybe he’ll be reading a book for school and then he’ll think “shit when was the last time I had some water ?”

-And he spends most of his free time in the library reading or writing so he knows the librarian personally and uses her first name

-he even has his own little place to go with a mini fridge so he has something to eat whenever it hits him that he needs to do shit to s u r v i v e

-Richie doesn’t even want to go to therapy but it’s helping him so he just deals with it

-Eddie and Bev being there is also a plus

-Richie is broke asf so he basically makes Bev pay for his sessions in exchange for weed

-He steals the weed from Patrick and whenever the school decides to have drug dogs come, he just slips that shit right back into Patrick’s locker

-Richie really likes Eddie ?? And he sees Stan as like a little brother that’s easy to annoy

-he’s indifferent towards Ben and Mike bc like he doesn’t interact with them very much but when he does, they’re okay

-Bill is a fifty fifty.
