Top-notch service with a Conscience
So far, I’ve shared stories about the different aspects of our Tanzania Safari Tour—the Northern Circuit trek, the breathtaking safari in Tanzania’s national parks, and our smooth travels across the country.
For now, let’s take a moment and appreciate the incredible team that worked behind the scenes to make all this possible.
Looking back, I can proudly say that it was the African Scenic Safaris team that was our rock during our entire journey in Tanzania. Without their guidance and care, none of these amazing experiences would have been possible. Indeed, they are the Best Tanzania Tour Operators available in the market!
" From the meticulous planning to the flawless execution, their dedication turned an already great trip into an unforgettable experience—one that we will cherish for a lifetime.”
Knowing We Were in Good Hands
From the moment we began planning our Safari in Tanzania, the team at African Scenic Safaris made us feel like we were their only priority. I remember working closely with Priyank, who helped us meticulously plan every detail of our trip over a year and a half.
His patience and professionalism shone through, especially when we had to adjust our plans due to the pandemic. When we finally arrived in Tanzania, it was clear that the rest of the team shared the same commitment. They made sure we felt safe, comfortable, and well-cared for every step of the way.
"With every step, we knew we were in the hands of people who truly cared."
The Meaning Behind Every Moment
One thing that truly touched us was African Scenic Safaris’ commitment to ethical tourism. As part of the Kilimanjaro Porters Assistance Project (KPAP), they ensured that the mountain crew received fair treatment and wages.
This wasn’t just a business transaction; it was a relationship built on mutual respect. Knowing that our journey was supporting a company that values its people added a deep sense of meaning to our Mount Kilimanjaro Climbing adventure.
"Traveling with them wasn’t just about seeing Tanzania; it was about supporting those who made it possible."
A Commitment to Responsible Travel

What stood out to us was African Scenic Safaris’ dedication to responsible tourism. They’ve been at this for over 14 years, making sure that their Safaris in Tanzaniaare not only enjoyable but also sustainable.
Their focus on carbon-neutral safaris, ethical wildlife viewing, and community-based conservation gave us a deep appreciation for the impact we were making. It felt good to know that our journey was helping to preserve the beauty of Tanzania for future generations.
"Being part of their responsible travel initiative made our experience even more rewarding."

Safari Spectacle - From Lion Packs to Cheetah Hunts
After the magnificent Kilimanjaro trek, our excitement only grew as we started on a new chapter—our first-ever Tanzania safari.
It would be wrong to say it was just any safari; it was an immersion into the echoes of the wild, where every moment promised something out of this world.
Our guide, Thom, was a seasoned expert who quickly made us feel that we were in for the adventure of a lifetime.
"The thrill of seeing wild animals up close was something we had only dreamed of, but Thom made it a reality."
A Day Filled with Wonders
The Safari in Tanzania began with a drive through the vast plains of the Serengeti. As the sun climbed higher, the golden grasses seemed to stretch endlessly in every direction.
Suddenly, Thom pointed out a pride of lions resting under the shade of an acacia tree. We watched in awe as the lions lounged, completely unbothered by our presence.
"Watching the lions in their natural habitat was like stepping into a scene from a wildlife documentary—only this time, we were part of it."
Thom's keen eyes and deep knowledge of the land led us to more incredible encounters. From towering elephants grazing peacefully to zebras playfully running across the plains, every moment felt like a page out of a storybook.
Thom shared stories and facts about each animal, making the Tanzania Safari Experience not just exciting but deeply educational.
The Cheetah Chase
instagram
One of the most exciting moments came on the second day of our Wildlife Safari Tanzania. Thom had heard through the radio chatter about a cheetah spotted nearby.
We followed the signal, and soon enough, we saw her—sleek, focused, and on the hunt. We held our breath as we watched her stalk her prey with incredible precision.
The chase was swift, and before we knew it, the cheetah had successfully caught her meal. She then called her cubs, and we watched them enjoy their hard-earned feast.
"Seeing a cheetah hunt in the wild is something I will never forget. The sheer speed and power left us all speechless."
The Serengeti Symphony
As the days passed, our Safari in Tanzania became a rhythm of early morning drives, quiet afternoons by the camp, and evening explorations.
Each day brought new surprises—leopards lazing in the trees, hippos cooling off in the rivers, and graceful giraffes reaching for the highest leaves.
The Serengeti National Park was alive with sounds, sights, and the vibrant pulse of life.
"Every drive felt like stepping into a new world, where nature's beauty unfolded in the most unexpected ways."
Reflections by the Campfire
In the evenings, we gathered around the campfire to reflect on the day’s adventures. Thom would share more stories about the Serengeti and its incredible wildlife.
The warmth of the fire and the sounds of the night made these moments truly special. The Tanzania Safari Experience was more than we had ever imagined. It was not just about seeing animals but about feeling connected to the wild in a way that was both humbling and exhilarating.
"Sitting by the fire, with the sounds of the Serengeti around us, we realized how deeply this place had touched our hearts."
youtube
Looking Forward!
As we wrapped up our safari, we could feel that this was just the beginning of our love affair with Tanzania. The memories of Thom’s guiding, the stunning wildlife, and the beauty of the Serengeti will stay with us forever. But this is not the end yet!
Next up in the blog series, we’ll share our experiences of travelling across Tanzania, highlighting the smooth and safe journeys we had with the team from African Scenic Safaris.
Stay tuned for more insights into this amazing Tanzania Safari adventure!
